Good morning everyone! Here I am bringing you the first story of the year! A back story from one of my OCs from the world of Sonic. He has appeared in other stories, he is a science nerd, a little white monkey but with a big butt! "Hey!" Without further ado, let's get started! ----- A knock on the door of the room was heard. "Are you awake?" "Mhhh… maybe?" A sleepy voice said from the other side. The door opened and a young gorilla entered the room. Dressed in green pants and a tight white shirt that shows off his muscular body. "There you are." The gorilla said seeing the bundle on the bed, covered by a blanket from space with stars and rockets. "Up! Sleeping beauty!" The young gorilla took the blanket and pulled it away. "Ow!" Accidentally knocking the occupant out of the bed. "Be more careful." The little white monkey sat on the ground stroking his head. Dressed in a full red pajamas with drawings of robots. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" "Yes, Hector." Mickey said getting up and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Did you sleep until late again?" The gorilla asked, pretty sure of the answer. Mickey got up and started looking for his clothes to change into. "I was going through the computer code that I managed to extract from one of Kintobor's Motor Bugg, thinking it would help me develop an AI." "I'll ask out of courtesy because we are brothers. What did you get out of that?" The gorilla asked seeing a long and boring programming talk coming. "That he's somebody pretty horrible…" Mickey stopped. "... Most of the code is dedicated to making robots afraid to obey Julian." "Can't you change it to use it?" Hector asked genuinely curious. "Not until he fully understands the code…" The monkey sighed. "I'll change and go down for breakfast in a minute." The gorilla left his brother to change. Mickey took off his pajamas, walked across his room in Paw Patrol briefs, and started dressing to go out. Mickey was going to the woods with his family for a weekend. It is a family activity, they are going to train survival techniques and physical training once a month for a whole weekend. The monkey came out of his room dressed in green military pattern pants, a dark gray top, black boots, and a rope necklace with an iron medal and an flint. He was almost like an adorable little Rambo. The monkey went to the bathroom for a few moments, then went downstairs to join his family in the dining room. "Good morning mom." Mickey greeted the photograph of his mother and sat down at the table. "Good morning grandpa." The elderly gorilla rubbed the head of his little grandson. "I hope you slept well." Mickey's father served him breakfast. "Yes, thank you very much." The monkey said and started eating his breakfast. --- Grandpa carries the tools and equipment to the rear of the convoy. While Miguel and his children say goodbye to Emilia. "You sure you don't want to come?" Héctor asks his girlfriend. The doe laughs mischievously. "Although I like the idea of watching my 2 favorite boys work out…" She said giving a touch to Mickey's nose and placing her hand on Hector's cheek. "... I have to keep reading. Psychology and psychiatry degrees don't come alone." "I just hope I am the favorite of the two." The gorilla joked and kissed the doe. Miguel left the house and approached the young people. "All set. Thanks again for watching over our home while we're gone, Emilia." "It's a pleasure, I really really like being here." She replied with a smile. "The transmitter is on the table in the living room, so you can call us if something happens or problems with a robot attack." Mickey said. That was the only way to contact them during the camp. "Don't worry, Harner is strong, even without the best of his men." Emilia said with a proud smile. "Grandpa would probably come in giant leaps like the Hulk." Mickey said with a weak smile. The Ross said goodbye to Emilia and left in the convoy. They left the town, following a dirt road, heading for the forested mountains. As is usual. It was about 30 or 40 minutes of travel, listening to stories of General Ross in his days as a young military man. Although Miguel had to remind his father to omit dark details. Not that the youngsters hadn't heard things before, especially in the beginning of Eggman taking control after betraying the Acorn kingdom. The Ross family reached the forest, leaving the convoy at the end of the road and took their things, they would have to walk to the campsite, carrying the things. The training has started. "Brands still look good." Mickey mentioned as they walked. The path to the camping site was inside the forest where the paths are not reliable. Instead, they used tree markings to guide them. This had to be reviewed and in some cases highlighted so that they did not fade. "Huh ... yeah ... they all look good." Hector said as his gaze wandered. "You still don't recognize them." The grandfather said, it was not a question, he was affirming it. "We have always come here monthly, I know the way by heart." The young gorilla said in defense of him. "Just try not to go somewhere unknown." His father said patting him on the back. "Do you remember how to guide yourself if you get lost?" Grandpa asked. "Huh ... looking at stars?" The young gorilla said unsure. "Will you wait all day until it's night?" Grandpa questioned, then saw the little monkey. "Check the moss on trees and rocks, it grows more abundantly in the north direction." Mickey said and looked around pointing to a mossy tree. "You can also make a solar compass with branches, placing one vertically, mark its shadow, wait a bit to see how it moves. Then mark the new place of the shadow. The line that goes between these two points goes approximately from this to West. Then you can see, by the direction of the sun's movement, where north is." Hector took his brother from his sides, lifted him up and began to move his fingers to tickle him. "You are such a forest nerd!" He joked. "WAHAHAHAHA!! Put mehehahah down ahahahaha!!" Mickey squirmed trying to free himself by pushing the hands of his older brother. Miguel laughed to himself as he watched his children play. As an only child, he was not lucky enough to have that experience. "Remember to use your legs as well." The older gorilla reminded him of his grandson. Following that, Mickey pushed Hector's arms with his hands and feet, opening them wide enough to free himself, although he continues to laugh due to how effective the tickling was. The Ross family continues on their way, with Mickey and Hector picking up some branches from the ground and leaves for later. Until they reached the camping site. A small clearing next to a small stream. "Alright guys, get your tent and campfire ready." Miguel told his children. "Very well!" Both young men said enthusiastically. The boys began by clearing the ground where they would raise the tents, removing the leaves, branches and stones. Also making sure not to be near the trees so as not to run into any roots. The tents model is complex, but they are both quite experienced, so the build was quick and smooth. "I'll take care of the ditch." Hector told his younger brother. "Okay. I'll get the fire going then." Mickey replied. The young gorilla was in charge of digging a small ditch surrounding the tent. This serves so that in case of rain the water does not stagnate and end up soaking the tent. Although all of them could say with certainty that it would not rain for at least 4 days. But hey, it's to show that they know how to do things well. The white monkey dug a hole in the ground, about 7 centimeters deep. Then he placed the dry leaves that they had been collecting on the road and put the dry branches on top. Finally Mickey placed rocks around the hole to finish the job. In this way the wind would not affect the campfire and would prevent the fire from spreading in any carelessness. Either way the extracted earth was placed nearby. "Good job." The grandfather said seeing the work of his grandchildren. He and Miguel have their own tents, due to their large sizes. Mickey smiled and began to search his backpack for a few moments. The monkey took out a metal sphere, which had a button. Upon pressing that button, a small antenna emerged and a beep sounded for a moment. "With this the insects will stay away from the camp." Mickey said proudly. "What's that?" Miguel asked when he saw his son's new invention. "It is a device that emits sound at a frequency that annoys the insects, causing them to move away from the source." The monkey said pleased to see his invention at work. "If you say it does that." Grandpa said. He didn't understand much about technology, nothing too far to make a transmitter work and that if he has the Eggman symbol he should be destroyed. The opposite of Mickey, who most of the time works or studies technology and programming things, not to mention his special contact with technology. "Basically, that makes an annoying noise for the bugs." Hector summed up. "Anything else to surprise us again?" "This is the only thing ... we are supposed to train." Mickey said with a slight grin. "Yeah, so put your things away." General Ross told his grandchildren. Mickey and his brother nodded, putting their backpacks inside the tent and then closing it. The "sonic repellent" only prevents insects from getting close, but you never know what may appear in a forest. With that done, they started running. They began a tour of the forest, perfect to improve stamina by keeping in contact with the nutalezar and seeing if there was any change since the last visit. The forest is quite old, so finding old trees blocking paths when they fall is not very rare. This was one of those occasions. In the middle of the journey, the family came across a log that seems to have fallen recently. "Well, we won't be short of wood." The grandfather said to then approach and lift the fallen tree, carrying it on his right shoulder as if he were carrying a sack of potatoes. "And that's how 'making firewood from the fallen tree' was born, literally." Hector joked when he saw his grandfather carry the log. Mickey nodded silently. Then he looked at his own arms, thin covered in white fur, soft and warm, but not much muscle. Especially comparing himself to the rest of his family. "If we find another one, I want to try to lift it myself." Hector said with a smile as they set off again. "If you want more exercise, you can try this one." Grandpa said while he carries the tree while he runs. "It could be too much for him. Maybe with a slightly smaller one." Miguel thinks of the idea. The monkey listened in silence as the gorillas spoke of his strength exercises beyond his limits. Upon returning to camp, it was time to begin preparing for lunch. Time for Miguel to take over. The father of the family took out of the cooler meat, which he had cut and prepared the day before, to take temperature. Meanwhile he started chopping up some onions, carrots, peppers and other ingredients. Mickey used the iron plate and the flint from his necklace, rubbing both together to generate sparks and ignite the blades of the campfire. "Lunch will take a few minutes." Miguel told his family. "We will have curry." Hector pulled out a ball and moved away with Mickey to play until the food was ready. The young gorilla is quite good, he even did some tricks taking advantage of the surrounding trees. Mickey was also not far behind, sneaking out to steal the ball from his brother on several occasions. Basically they were both having a great fun time together. Both adults smiled when they saw the youngsters. --- After having a delicious meat curry for lunch, Grandpa took the boys on a hike through the woods. As he walked he could seem more like nature. The fresh air that carries the scent of the plants, the light that passes through the leaves of the trees, making plays of light and shadow on the road. "Alright, why don't you get some berries?" The grandfather proposed to his grandchildren. This has more than one purpose. "But bring them before you eat any of them." The boys looked at each other with a smile and parted. That forest has a great variety of wild berry bushes that would not be found in the vicinity of the town. Both of them wore their shirts to collect a good amount of berries and then return to their grandfather and show what they had collected. "Let's see what they have ..." The big gorilla bent down to look closely at the young gorilla's berries. "... Hector, are you still looking to get sick?" Mickey looked at what his brother had. "Jerusalem Cherries, Bittersweet Berries ... Are those Pokeweed Berries !?" "Oh, come on!" Hector complained. "Just a couple of blue berries, the rest are poisonous." General Ross shook his head and separated the edible berries. They weren't even 10. "You will have more hope of surviving in a desert than in a forest." The young gorilla dumped all the others at the foot of a tree. Mickey stood on a rock to make it easier to see the berries he collected. "Blueberries, Lingon Berries and Blackberries ... All clean." The huge gorilla said, patting the little monkey's head carefully. That was the point of this. Test their knowledge of what they can and cannot eat. You never know when that might save your life. The great gorilla knows this from experience. "Let's take some for dad too." Mickey proposed. "Come on, I'll show you which berries we can eat." He said with an amused smile to his brother. "Oh that reminds me of something." Hector smiled more. "To a little boy who ate some berries without asking, ended up with dirty pants and wearing diapers for a week." Mickey's face turned red with embarrassment. "We said we wouldn't talk about it again!" "I crossed my fingers! Hahaha!" Hector said and started running. Mickey ran after him. "I'm going to punch you through your ideas!" "The youth of these days." The general said watching his grandchildren run. "I suppose this will also help them to train." "Try to catch me! Mic!" Hector jumped high, holding onto a tree branch, swayed, and then leaped to another tree, holding onto the trunk and climbing. Mickey began to climb a tree trunk with enough speed to then jump between the branches chasing his older brother. "You don't have to tell me!" The gorilla leapt off the branches, shaking them hard, causing them to creak and fall leaves while the monkey jumped barely making some noise, moving nimbly towards his target. Hector decided to stop and turn, his arms outstretched. "Come h-huh?" He didn't see his younger brother. Mickey had made a detour and was silent. Now he is looking at his brother from the left. Seeing him confused he hastened to jump over the branches. "I have you!" The gorilla was surprised but smiled when his brother held him. "Very good. When you-" A creak was heard from below them. "Oh oh." The branch broke with the combined weight of both, falling to the ground. "AAHHHH!" Both brothers screamed in surprise and the next thing they heard was a loud bang. General Ross heard this and rushed to the scene. He wasted no time because he had been following the trails the boys had left. Then he saw Hector, sitting up and rubbing his head. "Urrrgh ... Maybe I'm getting too big for this." The young gorilla said with groans. "Where is your brother?" The older gorilla was quick to ask. "Hereeee!" Mickey's voice came from above, sounding higher. Looking up, both gorillas could see the white monkey, in a hanging wedgie. The Megaman underoos that Mickey uses got caught on a branch during the fall, avoiding the hit but splitting his butt and crushing his crotch. Mickey was holding himself, slightly hunched over, and he was sure he felt something wet. Yes, he peed a little. Hector couldn't help but laugh while grandpa just let out a sigh. After Hector helped Mickey down and the monkey rearranged his underwear, the group went to look for the berries. With Grandpa giving them a pretty long sermon. --- Miguel sees his boys and father return. "That took time. Did something happen?" Hector smiles. "We got berries, we climbed trees and-" "And that's it!" Mickey says with his mussels still pink. The monkey put the berries on the table and went into the tent. He wants to change his underwear. Hector chuckled slightly at this. "So ... how about we go swimming?" Miguel proposed. "I agree." Grandpa said approving of the idea. "Cool!" The young gorilla exclaimed and walked over to the tent that he shares with his brother. "Did you hear that, Mic?" And he opened the entrance. Mickey had just finished swiping his Megaman underoos when that happened. So his family could see your big round white butt like mountains of cotton. "Close!" Mickey screamed in shame and tossed a rolled up sleeping bag, hitting his older brother in the face. Hector landed on his backside and rubbed his face. "Geez. It's not like we didn't see you naked before." "It doesn't mean you don't want privacy." The monkey said embarrassed and searched his backpack for his swimsuit. "Huh? Where is that?" He stopped, finding something that shouldn't be there. "HECTOR!!" The young gorilla began to laugh softly with his hands behind his head. Both adults look at the young man, knowing this was another prank. Mickey came out of the tent, wearing a tight little yellow shorts, with little colored stars everywhere. "Where is my real swimsuit?" He asked with his arms crossed, his face red from the combination of anger and shame. "At home. Emilia thought you'd be cute little with those, so I changed them overnight." Hector said with a small laugh. "Someday I'll take revenge for this ..:" Mickey said annoyed, pulling the shorts that got into his butt giving him a natural wedgie. The gorillas changed into their bathing suits, all long, flowing shorts with a mature appearance. The family gathered up their towels and walked up the stream. A few meters away there is a waterfall that flows into a small lake. Hector and Mickey got into the water and started playing with the ball and swimming around. Miguel was sitting in the water talking about some things with his grandfather, who preferred to be under the waterfall. Normally they would be there an hour or a little longer. But with the adults deeply focused on their conversation, 2 hours passed and they were still there. Mickey finally had enough of the water and got out. He picked up the towel from him and dried his fur as well as possible. Seeing that his father and his grandfather were concentrating on something, the young monkey picked up a branch and began to do something on the ground. When Mickey was finishing with that, everything suddenly stopped. Did it get dark in an instant? The monkey looked up to meet his grandfather who was blocking the sun. It's amazing how someone this big can be silent when he wants to. "We are about to return to camp. We will start with the exercises." The big gorilla said and then looked at what his grandson had drawn on the ground. "Who is the tiger boy?" On the ground was drawn something that appeared to be a mobian tiger, with wristbands and leg warmers? "He's nobody, at least for now." Mickey said putting down the branch, getting up and brushing the dust off his butt. "I have been thinking about a design for an artificial intelligence. I still have problems with how I should program it, but I hope to solve that problem soon." "... That's ... well ..." is all General Ross could say to his grandson. "... Yes ..." Mickey said looking away. On the way back to camp, Mickey looked up from him looking up at the sky, imagining his mother and then sighing closing his eyes. After arriving and changing, the rest of the day and the beginning of the night was as it usually is. Start with stretching and then personal exercises for each member of the family, planned and controlled by General Ross while he trained himself. Running, push-ups, sit-ups, barbells (using tree branches), tree climbing, rock lifting, among other exercises. --- By the time the night took over the sky, Mickey was panting exhausted and sweating considerably after hours of 'light' exercises. The monkey sat near the campfire drinking a bottle of water while he caught his breath. A few meters away, his older brother was still training him. The young gorilla was pulling ropes that went up to the branch of a tree and down to some rocks to which they are tied. Hector scrambled up and down the rocks with almost no problem while Grandpa monitored his progress. "A dollar for your thoughts." Miguel said sitting next to his youngest son. "Nothing new..." Mickey looks toward the campfire. "I just wish I was a little bigger and stronger." "Don't you think there are too many muscles for now?" The gorilla joked. "But you shouldn't think about it too much. You're still too young for that. And before you know it you'll be about 2 meters tall and building engines for your inventions on your own." "Maybe..." "Well, if you get to be as tall as your mother, you'll be almost 5'1". Miguel said rubbing his son's back. "Mom was a tall woman..." Mickey said closing his eyes and thinking of his mother. In his memories, almost everyone is huge at that time when he was 3 years old. His grandfather looked like a big mountain that the little monkey climbed several times. When he wasn't following his mother. "You resemble her in many ways." The gorilla told his son. "Why are we both white monkeys?" Mickey asked, to which his father blacked him out with his head. "Our eyes?" Again his father shook his head. "What can we cook? Unlike Hector who somehow burns a salad?" "Hahahaha. How he does those things when he tries to cook is still a mystery, but no." Miguel pats Mickey's chest. "Your mother was always willing to help, even without knowing how, because she had a big heart. Just like you who help the town with your brain and inventions." Mickey smiled. It always made him happy to feel closer to his mother in this way. "She was warm, like sunlight." Miguel surrounds his son with an arm giving his a light hug. "I guess that makes you a constellation star." Mickey didn't get it, he a constellation? But before the monkey could ask, exhaustion made him fall asleep leaning on his father in front of that bonfire. In this way, the Ross family continued with their camp. Training, touring the forest and with the youngsters playing at every opportunity. And on the last night General Ross was telling his family one of his war stories in front of the campfire. They were fun bonding times, but it was time to leave. They collected everything and cleaned the place, leaving it ready for the next month when they came to camp again. --- On Monday, Mickey went to school as usual, though looking a little more tired than usual. "Good morning! Nice winter monkey~" Arthur arrived with Mickey at his locker. "Did nothing happen to you in that hell camp?" The white monkey rolled his eyes. "It's boot camp. You're just too snobbish and sissy." "Hey!" The young pantare exclaimed in offense. "You are the crazy ones who train in the wild." He crossed his arms and looked at me with a pout. "I don't understand why you go, it must be exhausting and annoying. Mickey shook his head as he pulled the books from him to close his locker. "No, I really like these trips." Both continued talking until their first class arrived. Although Mickey was doing something else during class. He is drawing a new design for his future AI, a feral tiger mixed with technology. The mixture of both is something that the white monkey loves. ----- So far the story! I hope you had fun. Don't forget to comment your favorite part or suggestion.
