And no she the Duck Tails Webby.\n\nIn fact this Webby predates Duck Tail's Webby by 50 years as my Webby is yet another ancient character created by Ralph Welsh and Bill Hopper during his short period working with Ralph Welsh and Bud Crabb in the JinxToons comics.\n\nYou may notice that Webby is wearing the same Sailor outfit as my character Flamingo Rogerson here. Well if ever wondering where I got the idea of the character Flamingo Rogerson from.\n\nAs if anyone ever asked me that.\n\nWell it comes from two places. One is the casino, and the other comes from Webby here. If you thought I rip off Donald Duck with that outfit, well I didn't. \n\nBill Hopper and Ralph Welsh did or did they? I'm not too sure to be honest.\n\nWebby's first appearance was in 1938. This being 1938 Donald Duck was around and quite popular around that time. Now I'm not sure if whether or not Webby was a complete rip off of Donald Duck.\n\nAs at first it seems like it, She was a sailor in the very beginning. But whether or not they copy Donald Duck's outfit is unknown, as much like Arlene pup, none of Bill Hoppers original drawings still exists. \n\nAnd the only drawings I've seen are Dick Huemer's drawings, and the only drawings that Dick ever saw were Ralph Welsh's drawings. And the oldest drawings Dick seen according to him dated from 1958. And by that point Webby's design was finalized in the comics. \n\nSo Webby could of had a much earlier design by Bill Hopper with a different outfit. But because of Bud Crabb's bias towards Walt Disney. There might be a possibility that Bud Crabb told Bill Hopper to copy the Donald Outfit on Webby. \n\nAs Bud Crabb was not Walt Disney's biggest fan. What's his story with Disney is completely lost to history by at this point.\n\nBut back my story with creation of Flamingo.\n\nWhen Dick Huemer showed me the original JinxToons for the first time, one of the characters he showed me this duck character name Webby. At the time Webby was my favorite of the JinxToons character. Mostly because of the way she was designed ironically enough.\n\nNow when I started my own set of characters.
