For those unaware this character appeared in the Knuckles spin-off series in the archie comics. Downtown Ebony Hare is a shrewd dealer and businessman, having no qualms in selling illegal drugs, or attempting to murder his enemies. Downtown also appears to have some sense of economical knowledge, which he uses to guide his company. Downtown also considers himself to be a criminal mastermind, and constantly talks big and acts tough.
In my headcanon he is the father of Cream the rabbit. Of course when she was born she took most of the traits of her mother. When he and Vanilla were together he hid his criminal life from her. He was really in love with Vanilla but when she found out. She ran away from him one night only leaving a note. This made Downtown more bitter as a result and he has no idea he has a daughter out there in the world.
