And that had only been the first pain the the ass...
The crew hadn't been searching the surprisingly well carved and maintained halls before Storm had triggered a trap, a wall springing up and separating the Swallow from her team. The stone wall to thick to hear anything through, and with no way to turn back, Wave had no choice but to keep going, doing so very carefully at that. She hadn't gotten far before finding even more traps hindering her way. Pressure plates hooked to who knows what hidden in the walls, false floors revealing spike traps or icy, watery depths, and that wasn't when they weren't simply too deep to see the bottom.
The violet bird traveled for what felt like an hour or two through the winding halls, only noticing long after she was separated from her allies that she was actually starting to feel warm in her outfit, and not from hypothermia. The halls were actually warmer (Though warmer than the snowy blizzards outside wasn't saying much).
She had also started feeling strangely uneasy, she'd felt as though she was being watched, and thought she had heard things in the distance, like strange gusts of wind and far off footsteps.
But above all else, she had noticed the halls themselves change. Statues and ornate carvings began to appear (Some of which were still booby-trapped). Statues portraying scantly-clad (At best) females, both mobian and human, wall carvings of fierce beasts and monsters, even a few rather beautiful frescoes that almost glittered under the glow of her lantern.
But the best thing she had found actually did glitter, gleam and shine...
Gold...
Gold...silver...gems...Piles and piles of them all. Marble Statues, standing suits of armor, weapons displayed, rings, goblets, crowns and bracelets, piles and piles, chest after chest of treasure, the sheer amount of it left Wave in awe as she walked among the tonnes of treasure, dazedly imagining what she could buy with those coins, or how much that gem-covered scepter must be worth, or how she might look in that surprisingly well preserved silk dress...
Then she found the coffin...
Like everything else surrounding it, it was extravagantly made, solidly built, gold inlaid and huge. The inside was a very soft looking velvet, actually looking oddly warm...
Wait...it was open?
"I must say, it's been a while since last anyone dared try and raid my collection," Wave nearly jumped out of her skin at the sudden voice, "And they weren't quite the vision of loveliness that you are."
"Who's there!?" Wave yelled, her lantern searching for any sign of the the voice.
"Rather rude, don't you think?" She spun around...nothing...
"You intrude upon my home and demand things of me? I believe manners dictate you should introduce yourself first, madam..."
She caught sight of a flicker of movement out of the corner of her eye...and stopped cold, her lantern clanging to the floor as a strange, golden glitter in the dark captured her full attention...
"I suppose it doesn't matter, though. No honor among thieves and all that, but...it has been a while since I've seen such a lovely lady, and thief I may be, I am also a gentleman."
He wrapped his arm around her...what had happened to her coat? And her top? What was that...pretty sparkle...
Such questions quickly left Wave's mind, along with most everything else, as the ancient thief's hand toyed with the avian breast, the swallow spacing out as he snapped his fingers, the golden spark sending a shiver through Wave's body as her hand fell, finding itself wrapped around his cock.
"You seem...chilly, my dear." he whispered, toying with a nipple, drawing a coo from the dopey-eyed bird, "And as a gentleman, I would be remiss if I didn't offer you a chance to remedy that. My coffin is rather cozy, and there is plenty of room for the both of us to help warm each other. Would you be willing to grace me with your presence?"
"Ye-yeah..." Wave absently agreed, a dopey grin across her beak. She thought nothing of it as the both of them practically glided backward across the cold stone floor and into the gigantic coffin, the cover slowly closing itself as they settled in. It was cozy...and warm...and as the steel hard cat cock enter her, she felt oddly at peace...at home...happy...
Her lantern was left on the ground, amid her torn clothes, it's light cast on her until the coffin was fully sealed, glinting off the cat's fangs as they closed in on her neck...
In the grand vault of the legendary Baron of Thieves, Wave unknowingly bid goodbye to her old life, and life in general, but her muffled groans echoing from the closed coffin gave no sign of regret as she shuffled off her mortal coil, and became a new companion of the Baron, and a new Creature of the Night...
