So imagine their surprise on finding their Dad was now their Mom, but still kind of their dad based on what Peach was doing in their lap.
Oh, yeah, Peach was a major surprise too, but really, their brains were more focused on the newly dubbed Bowletta at the moment.
Bowletta then gave the Koopalings an offer. The empire was going to change, it was going to grow, but while the part of them that was Bowser wanted his kin to rule alongside him, the part that was Cackletta wanted the same thing.
And so the Koopalings were presented each with a bean, one that would alter them much as Cackletta's presence had Bowser, they would be granted a bit of herself and her magic, and each would be as much her kids as Bowser's. They wouldn't have to take the beans, but they would have to accept slightly lower positions than the others if they didn't, as much as Bowser disliked the idea.
Not a single Koopaling hesitated.

Larry Koopa had always been a bit antsy. Constantly the 'little brother' in the situation, he often overcompensated for this outward image by trying to be as aggressively effective as he could, even if he had to lie, cheat and steal to do so, not that any of that was considered a bad thing to his father.
Now, though, Lara felt oddly calm, very at peace in her new body.
Not to say she was any more forgiving, but her new piece of mind brought a more cool mentality she found herself loving, and her mother found intriguing as well. The spawn of Bowletta found her new mindset helped her scheming immensely.
She wasn't too hard on the mirror, either.

Wendy had always been the spoiled little princess of the Darklands. Even if she wasn't the heir, being the only daughter always left her with an edge over her brothers. All she needed was to turn on the waterworks and her dear Daddy would be wrapped around her little claw...
Not so much once Cackletta came into the picture. Bowletta wasn't quite as easy to sway. Not to say Wendy didn't have ways of getting her way, but more often then not, in the heat of things, her methods had Wendy herself forgetting what she'd wanted from her parent in the first place. Not that it stopped her from trying. It was fun after all.
Then again, maybe she just didn't want to admit the shift things, now that she was a lot more eager to please her parent

Iggy, like his brother Lemmy, had always had a bit of a problem with 'Middle Child Syndrome', especially when the young heir Junior started setting out into the world at large more and more. Iggy worked his shell off with his inventions and intellect to prove his worth among the Koopalings, his cackling laughter often echoing from the castle garages and airship docks..
The only thing that changed with Bowletta was how well Iggy filled out a set of coveralls.

Lemmy, like his brother Iggy, was always had a problem with 'Middle Child Syndrome', to a much greater degree than his twin. Flamboyant and loud, the height-challenged koopaling spent a lot of time and energy trying to get the attention of others. Something that as Emmie, with her new endowments, she found to be a lot easier to do...
She still had some serious trouble getting her balance back with them, though...

Morton Koopa was never the most complicated fellow. He wasn't clever or scheming like his siblings, and he never met a problem he couldn't solve with brute strength, and if hitting it didn't work, he'd just have to hit it harder. When Bowletta presented the Koopalings with the beans, Morton didn't really see any reason not to.
All this meant was it would be Morgan hitting things. And looking damn good doing it.

Roy Koopa had always been two things: tough and cool. He knew these things with absolute certainty. Anyone who disagreed usually met either a fist or a Bill face-first. Most learned not to mess with him after one meeting, and the ones who didn't probably already had brain damage to begin with.
Only one thing had changed with the transition to Riona, she now knew she was tough, cool and hot as hell.

Ludwig Von Koopa had always held himself to a higher standard than his siblings, and Ludivine held herself to be the same caliber she had always been. Even if she was not heiress to the throne, to be more refined, elegant, mature and cultured than her sisters was paramount in her mind.
Music, painting, even her new body she displayed and treated as a work of art, and none would deny the truth of the latter.
