  "description": "Devon Salimani is one of Lucas Dyers's father's drinking buddies. Sometimes, when Mr. Dyers gets drunk and unpleasant to be around, a younger Lucas would often spend a night or two at either a friend's house, or Devon's place. Thankfully, Devon is accepting of Lucas being gay, unlike his father. As a senior, an 18-year-old Lucas would stay a few days at Devon's at a time to let his dad's temper cool off. Even as a popular football player in high school, Lucas's dad still didn't treat him with much respect.\n\nDevon was more than happy to let Lucas crash at his house, though he did wish his father would be less of a dick to his own son. The extended visits did start getting to Devon, seeing this muscular young shark hanging around his home alone with the 50-year-old fishman. The coelacanth tried to ignore these random thoughts. Devon has never come out as being bi before, especially to his shark friend.
