The door opened and Chase's father, Michael, came out. He was dressed all in black, like a goth, but without piercings and black makeup. He was wearing a black T-shirt with skulls, a black leather hoodie, black jeans with skulls, and black shoes. "Well, well, well. Who do we have here? - An adult shepherd asked sarcastically and rhetorically. - This is my obnoxious and incompetent son Chase, - and he immediately noticed the Dalmatian. - And who is this for an underdeveloped type? Is this a new victim? Maybe you can show me, son, so that I recognize you as a real man and that you stand on my side to be a Goth: the path of evil and darkness. "Firstly, I'm not underdeveloped," the blue-eyed man began, "Secondly, I'm Marshall, your son's new classmate, and thirdly, I'm not your son's victim, but most likely his new and true friend; and fourthly, he won't follow in your footsteps, a goth drinker. This greatly angered the adult shepherd, and his son was very alarmed, but he did not interfere when Marshall made a gesture. "What did you just say, puppy?" Michael asked, coming up close and leaning over the blue-eyed man. Marshall wasn't scared, but Chase became more and more afraid. - That's what I heard, the gorilla is fat, - the student calmly replied. - It's time for you to go to jail for what you did five years ago. - If you're talking about that whore... Ouch! - Chase's father did not finish, because his son slapped him in the face, to the surprise of Marshall and the evil dad. "What are you doing, you bastard?" "Don't you dare call my mom a whore, you murderer," Chase said angrily, gritting his teeth and breathing heavily. "You're no better." He beat me all the time, humiliated me, forced me to do things that I shouldn't have done in the first place. Mom gave me what you took away, but what Marshall managed to get back. And I'm not going to lose it again. I'd rather live with Marshall and his parents. They have exactly what you don't have, but maybe I will have it completely. And your methods of becoming a goth are completely outside your reality. This does not require rudeness or humiliation, but simply a craving for dark forces. You're contradicting yourself. This statement made my father very angry and he was not going to give up. He doesn't want to lose a toy that he can play with, make fun of. And he doesn't want to miss this chance. "You're not going anywhere, you bastard," his father said angrily, preparing to attack. "You're going to live with me and do what I want." I am your father and only I decide what I need for you and what I should do with you. "Did you hear what he said?" If he won't go, then he won't go, period," Marshall tried to defend Chase. "And I'll kill you on the spot, and your pathetic parents will grieve for you and they'll lose everything they have, because I'll take everything." His father wanted to strike, but Marshall got ahead of him and hit one intimate spot, and Michael was now holding onto that spot, bending over. "Marshall," the former bully said, startled. "You'd better stay out of it and run after my parents." Quickly," Marshall commanded seriously, seeing that his father had already begun to recover, and the younger shepherd ran after the classmate's parents, and Michael took the schoolboy by the scruff of the neck and threw him into the house, and attacked the source of his problems. Marshall stood up and deflected the punches that were being thrown at him, and did the same in response. The Dalmatian, despite his clumsiness, was skilled in martial arts. Michael became more and more angry that he couldn't hit the young student, and then decided to use a knife. - Have you decided to use dirty tricks? - Marshall asked rhetorically. - Now it's clear who you wanted your son to grow up into. A real coward, just like yourself. "Shut up, you bastard," Goth said, lashing out at Marshall. "I'll teach you some manners." Marshall did not succumb to this and continued the attack, hoping that Chase and the Dalmatian's parents would arrive, but the forces gradually left, and the adult shepherd began to evade and attack at the same time. He only managed to hit the Dalmatian by cutting the Dalmatian's shirt, but not to the end, only on the shoulders. Marshall was almost tired, as was Michael, and then the blue-eyed man's eyes bulged from the pain in his stomach when Michael stabbed him with a knife, which caused blood to flow, and the Dalmatian began to lose consciousness. Shepherd grinned hard and grabbed Marshall, and said: - Goodbye, asshole, now you won't bother me, - he threw the Dalmatian into the wall and Marshall finally lost consciousness. At that time, Chase and Marshall's parents, Alex and Clear, arrived, and they almost fell to the floor from what they saw: in front of them was a Dalmatian man bleeding and a crazy shepherd with a bloody knife in his hand. Barely recovering from the shock, Marshall's father attacked Michael. "You freak, you're going to pay for this," Alex said angrily, taking the knife from him. The battle began. Clear called an ambulance and the police, and held Chase down to prevent him from interfering. Alex managed to stun Michael, and then ran to Marshall and took him outside, waiting for an ambulance. "Hold on, Marshall. Help is close, just don't die, please," the blue-eyed man's father said with tears in his eyes. Marshall's mother was crying along with Chase. The shepherd didn't care that he was crying. The most important thing for him is that Marshall survives and that they start being friends. He thought back to those moments at school and from childhood, where his mother did to him the same as Marshall, except for a kiss on the lips. This moment made Chase change and realize how much he was wrong, and now he wants to hope that he can make the school stop being afraid of him. Marshall's parents decided to take Chase in after the incident with their son, because He doesn't have to live with his father now, and he can't because he's going to jail for attempted murder. It's a pity that he won't go to prison for murdering his own wife, because of the end of his sentence. Help arrived and quickly took Marshall to the hospital. The police followed her and arrested Michael, who tried to escape when he woke up. "Let me go, you stupid freaks," said the goth psycho. "Do you know who I am?" Damn you. The dark forces will overtake you and you will be in trouble," and he turned to Chase: "And I'm not done with you yet. I will get out and punish you for your betrayal with a call to the dark forces, and you will suffer very slowly and painfully, just like that idiot Marshall with his psychotic parents and you, the abnormal police. "Go away, you overgrown goth," the police officer said, pushing him toward the car. - In the cell, they will teach you everything, all the manners, and you will forget about your dark powers. "I'll be back and you'll all be dead, okay?" They're dead. Chase's father persisted. "Fuck you, you half-baked psychopath," the second employee said, shoving Michael into the car, and they drove off. When they left, Marshall's parents called Chase to their place, and he followed them to their two-story house. Outwardly, it was very beautiful: all white, there is a garden with flowers, a swing, a vegetable garden with crops. Chase admired such a house and would like to live like this. What he saw inside made him gasp at what he saw. The house was simply gorgeous. There were five rooms on the ground floor: a kitchen, a living room, a playroom, my father's office and my mother's office. The whole living room has a bright background, a chandelier with white and red lighting, to Chase's surprise. There are also white wallpapers with beautiful patterns in all rooms. The ground floor is the same, except for the lighting. He was allowed to inspect everything. Going up to the second floor, he saw Marshall's room, a toilet and a bathroom. Looking into the student's room, he was extremely amazed. Marshall's room looked good. A double bed with patterns, with a sheet in the form of a fire, next to the window, next to a bedside table on which there was a lamp, and there were also two drawers. A closet with things, a computer in front of the bed with games, songs, as well as CDs with them, curtains in red and with white patterns. Chase kept admiring his new friend's house and wished he would wake up and come back as soon as possible to get to know him better. He sat down on the bed, put his briefcase on the floor and began to think about how he should live on. "I must have been very mistaken about him when I first saw him," thought the shepherd, which made tears flow from his eyes. He saw the album and decided to take a quick look at what was in it so that no one would see it. There he saw magnificent drawings in which the dates of the victories in the contests are marked. Among them were landscapes, family, underwater world, even fire, which is friendly with nature. "This student and artist has a great taste for harmony with the world. Now I understand why he's like this," it made him smile, and he wiped away his tears, and began to admire Marshall's work more and more. Then he saw something he hadn't expected. It was Chase himself. These drawings were made the day before Marshall came to school. The drawings show Chase in a white short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans with a belt and a wristwatch, as well as blue sneakers. In the drawings, he was smiling or serious. He was most fascinated by the image of him and Marshall hugging each other. Marshall was wearing a yellow T-shirt, over which was a red shirt with short black sleeves and a black collar, brown jeans and red sneakers. They were also smiling and, most surprisingly, they were also kissing, and there were red little hearts above their heads. It made Chase blush, and he remembered that kiss in the locker room again, and now he would like to repeat it again. The drawings gave Chase new and long-lost feelings and views. These drawings have become a real reality for Chase, which he must live and enjoy, and one of the moments of the new and future reality is Marshall. "I love you, Marshall," Chase said softly to himself, putting the album on the table, and then went downstairs to the kitchen.
