I'm making a small FREE video game in Unity based on some themes from my Custos story commission, "The Farm"!
It's a NSFW management sim with some kinky porn aspects! It will have a pixel art style and a variety of cute and sexy animations. Single player, four 'levels' to play and master, probably half to a full hour of total game time. See the game design document for more!

LATEST NEWS 3/02/2019:
- Alright, February wasn't a very good month for this project! :E I managed to log around 20 hours in three weeks, which wasn't near enough to bounce back from the slowness in January! Since last week I've logged almost 10h, and have been being more careful to carve out time for Hybrid Farmer around my other projects. But that's not a lot of hours overall! x.x
- I'll mostly talk about equippable gear in this update. Some of it halfway works in-game, but the code isn't stable or complete enough for a new build. (I'm working toward another build ASAP 'cause I know it's been awhile.) I also made a roadmap (below) so you can know what kind of content I'm planning to include in each build.
Equippable Gear
The design for now is that each piece of gear you equip on the hybrid male prevents him taking certain actions, or enables you equipping additional attachments. So for example you can simply muzzle him to stop him biting, or attach a collar and spreader bars to restrict all his upper-body movement. Not all hybrids will try to take all actions -- it depends on their personality, how horny they are, and how well you've restrained them. <.<
To implement this design, I have to draw all the equipment on separate layers in Aseprite, where it layers up correctly in any of the possible combinations. (That avoids exporting separate flattened animation loops for every combination of gear, or having to model the states of many small body parts and keep them in sync via code.) Additionally, hybrid attitudes that result in similar antics usually need different frame counts, movement extremes, and frame timings -- which means I have to reanimate all the gear onto each different attitude. It's complex, but so far it's working out.
The mid-body harness you see in the GIF is the first iteration of what I intend to be a modular, all-purpose straps contraption where you can snap other attachments. Probably gonna redo that design to a more sensible one with a central metal ring. I'm making up my own feral bdsm tack for this, so if you have suggestions about where to relocate straps, rings or spreader bars, I'd certainly love to hear 'em. :}} I'll make a dedicated post for the game's attachable equipment here in the next few days. ^.^
Project Roadmap
I'd hoped (rather unrealistically) to have the gameplay far enough along by now to do a full graphics overhaul here in March. (Pretty eager to get rid of these placeholders!) I'll be focusing all my energy on the Milkroom for the next few weeks, since that level will probably have the most interesting gameplay of the three I've planned. Then I'll do a graphics overhaul of Milkroom and Desk before worrying more about the other levels.
Here's my roadmap for finishing this up. Playable build at the end of each milestone.
- Milkroom equippable gear, hybrid antics and personalities, and stimulation mechanics (erogenous zones, libido, cumshots)
- Milkers and fappers (floor-based machines for automatic stimulation)
- Extra machines and mechanics (injections, butt fuckers, e-stim, vibrator, pheromone puffer, overstim)
- Integrate with Desk (quotas, budget, buying equipment with catalog and phone)
- Milkroom and Desk graphics overhaul
- Milkroom and Desk gameplay balance
- Circle back and finish adding updated AI + new character behaviors to Nursery
- Nursery graphics overhaul
- Nursery gameplay balance
- Auditors
- Stables level
- Endgame and overall balance
I'll add sound, menus, etc in bits and pieces as I go. You might notice that I didn't mention cubs in the Milkroom; for now cubs and nursing are on hold to reduce complexity till I get the rest of the design nailed down. Also not sure how well this aligns to the iterative development phases ("Engine Coding > Gameplay Coding > Artwork > Publish") I originally proposed, but it's kinda working better now to not be that formal with it. *ponders*
