"writing": "It was a warm and lazy morning. \nThe two girls lay on their comfortable bed with nothing on but their hair bands. They were so close that every breath mixed together into the air. Two heads sharing one pillow and two sets of tail feathers happily brushing against the fabric as their red eyes gazed lazily at the TV at the foot of their bed.\n\n\t“She’s clearly faking it.” Ruby spoke, while rubbing her sister’s privates gently. \n\t“The guy sure is not, though.” Rubi replied, while rubbing her sister in turn. \n\nThe erotic movie playing out in front of them continued to drag on and on until eventually Ruby used her spare hand to reach over to her laptop and pause it. She clicked through a few tabs and closed the current one open before playing something different. She nestled back down onto her pillow and waited for it to get going. \n\nRight away it was more promising than the last. It featured two main actors. A rabbit female with a petite build but long, dangling ears, and a particularly big fox male. The two had chemistry, from lingering glances to the playful movements of every pawstep and hand hold. Within a few minutes as well they were already getting to the main act. \n\n\t“Do you think they are married?” Rubi asked.\n\t“They certainly have a familiarity that co-workers would not.” Ruby replied. \n\t“But then again their job is to have sex and make it look good…” Rubi pondered. \n\t“So that raises the question, how much is workplace acting and how much is genuine attraction that is being captured on camera. I do wonder if actual emotions look better than something carefully sculpted or if fiction, being so precisely practiced, would appear better than reality.” Ruby spoke as her sister nodded along thoughtfully. \n\t“She’s also really good at taking it up the ass.” Rubi whispered. \n\nThey let out a giggle and then leaned into each other as their breath got a little quicker. As they got closer to the rush of their climax they turned their red eyes towards each other, and stared deeply into each other’s souls before finally little out a little squeak and squeezing each other’s hands with their thighs. This brief moment of serenity was but one of many that they had enjoyed this morning. \n\nThe twins sighed and continued to watch for a few minutes even as their hands came to a stop. Eventually the moment passed and Ruby reached over to close the tabs and shut down the laptop. \n\n\t“Tommy will be coming soon.” Rubi spoke up.\n\t“Indeed, we should clean up before he arrives.” Ruby replied. \n\nAfter pulling themselves off the bed, the two stretched out their stiff bodies from laying down for so long. They looked to each other on the other side of the bed and in tandem walked over to the foot of it before joining hands and continuing down to the bathroom. They took a short shower to clean their feathers and refresh themselves before getting dressed.\n\nRuby went over to the TV and pressed a button on the side that caused it to lower back down into the floor. Rubi meanwhile picked their nightgowns and panties off the floor and tossed them all into the laundry basket. She then crawled over the bed to open up the window behind it. \n\nWith their meager chores now finished they pocketed their phones and headed downstairs. Leaving through the front door they walked all the way down the long driveway to the front gate.\n\n\t“Good morning.” Ruby chirped to the man behind the security booth. \nHe was a young equine of some sort, with a blue streak in his hair and a piercing in his ear. \n\n\t“Not taking the limo today?” The young pony replied warmly.\n\n\t“We are meeting a friend.” Rubi replied.\n\t“And the weather is quite nice today.” Ruby added. \n\n\t“Sounds great.” He said as he pressed some unseen button and the heavy metal gates to the estate began to open automatically. “Take care out there.” He then said as they started to walk away. \n\n\t“We really should walk more, it’s quite refreshing.” Ruby spoke up.\n\t“A good way to see the town as well.” Rubi added.\n\nThe two continued to head down their long driveway until finally reaching the road at the bottom. They looked both ways and crossed over to find Tommy sitting at a bench. They waved to him and ran the rest of the way over. \n\n\t“Heya girls. How was your morning?” Tommy asked politely.\n\n\t“It was lovely. We slept in and have been watching TV.” Ruby spoke up.\n\t“Quite a nice break after so much school.” Rubi added.\n\n\t“I know that feeling. Are we heading straight to school then or a stop first?” \n\n\t“School is the plan…” Rubi spoke.\n\t“But we would not mind enjoying the sunshine on the way.” Ruby added. \n\nThey began their travels by heading into the cul-de-sac nearest to the estate. The houses were laid out in the shape of a light bulb, with a very round dead end, and a thinner neck leading outside. Between each of them was a thick and tall hedge, while smaller fences helped divide the gardens and pavement.\nThere were kids playing hockey in the street, the smell of grilled food wafting over the small houses, and the sound of some amusement or work could be heard floating in the very wind. The girls were amazed by just how fast the mood can change from one street to the next, and they very quickly started to love the louder, busier, mood that this one had. \n\n\t“Do you live here?” Ruby asked.\n\n\t“Yeah, at the end of the street. It’s near a shortcut.” Tommy replied. \n\nTrue to his word. At the end of the street was a normal looking house, with cream colored walls that had faded in the sun just a little. They did not stop at his house and instead he led them to a hedge that grew between his house and the neighbors. Tommy walked closer and then vanished into the leaves. Amazed, the girls ran over to inspect what had happened and they found that there was a path hidden in the shade of the leaves. \n\nStepping inside of the hedge they found that it was not just a hedge. The inside had two tall fences running parallel to each other, with a noticeable gap in the middle. This singular hedge was in fact two hedges that had grown up and then over the two fences until none of the original fencing could be seen. \n\nThe girls were in awe of this wondrous little structure. It smelled mossy and rich like a forest, and had dappled light streaming in from above too. Tommy let them soak it in for a minute before giving them a wave and continuing down the path. \n\nThis tunnel ran deeper than they were expecting and it grew darker as they headed further in. The twins were almost certain that they were about to stumble into a different reality when suddenly they crossed though a threshold and were back outside again. The sunlight was strong on their eyes and they had to stop to adjust but Tommy was already marching on ahead. \n\nWhen they could see again they found themselves in a park. There was lush, well maintained grass as far as the eye could see as well as many trees although they all sat some distance from each other. They found Tommy waiting for them under the shade of the nearest tree and so picked up the pace to rejoin him. The shadows that pooled along the earthy roots of the great oak were welcomingly cool compared to the sun and as they all moved from one tree’s shadow to the next, it felt like they were sailing from one island of shadow to the next on a great green ocean. \n\nTommy meanwhile was enjoying something different. He could not help but love the genuine curiosity of the girls. They moved slowly but only because they kept stopping to look at something he had seen a thousand times before. The hedges, the grass, even the shadows of the trees. He could not understand what they were seeing compared to his own vision but he was happy that they were enjoying themselves all the same. \n\nEventually they made it out of the park, and from there it was just one long and leisurely walk down the road until they got to the school. After entering the reception area, the twins took the chance to sit down for a moment while Tommy signed them in. \n\n\t“Where do we go first?” Tommy asked. \n\n\t“The tech guy.” The two girls spoke in unison. \n\t“We’ve never been too good with code.” Ruby spoke next.\n\t“And yet everything requires computers nowadays.” Rubi then added. \n\n\t“IT club it is.” Tommy said with certainty. \n\nThe girls got up from their chairs and followed Tommy. They headed to the right of the reception and moved past the nurses office and staff rooms alike before taking a right and heading through the double doors of the library. The lights here were soft and artificial and there was a thick smell of both books and lingering food in the air. They went past the librarians desk and to the right where a smaller staircase sat. At the top was a small corridor that led to two large rooms, with the IT club being at the end. \n\nBravely the twins went first and knocked politely on the door before going straight in. And then they paused at the entrance. The room was clean and tidy, with sunlight streaming in across half of it and open windows pushing a refreshing breeze across the desks. There were posters of games on the wall, and a whiteboard full of confusing notes, numbers and letters. As well as enough sticky notes to build a second whiteboard out of. \n\n\t“Not quite as dark or dingy as I was expecting.” Ruby spoke up.\n\t“And the boys are so much more… Cute.” Rubi added while eyeing a fluffy possum boy. \n\nThe three moved further into the room but nobody took their eyes off their computers. \n\n\t“Good morning, I am Ruby with a Y.” Ruby spoke up.\n\t“And I am Rubi with an I.” Rubi added.\n\t“We are looking to employ one of substantial technical ability.” Ruby continued. \n\nNobody replied. Nobody even turned their heads or eyes to look at the twins. \nBut then suddenly a hand shot up across the room, followed by a few clicks of their fingers.\n\n\t“Ugh names, Micheal. What did you want?” A bluebird spoke wearily. \n\n\t“We are in need of someone who can do website design and application work.” Rubi repeated as they approached the tired looking bluebird. He glanced at them for a second before turning his head to look at the whiteboard. \n\n\t“Too busy, we have nine days until a game design tournament. Nobody can be spared to go play games with you right now.” Micheal replied. \n\n\t“Is there any way we could help so that you could spare someone?” Ruby asked.\n\t\n\t“Unless you can find someone of equal or greater skill, then maybe, but all the best coders in the school are already in this room.” Micheal explained. \n\n\t“Maybe we should wait until the tournament is over?” Tommy suggested. \n\n\t“Nine days is far too long.” Rubi shook her head.\n\t“We need a faster way to solve this coding crisis.” Rubi nodded. \n\n“How about looking around the school? Maybe there is someone with a hidden talent?” Tommy suggested as he watched the twins slowly pacing around one of the desks. Suddenly they came to a stop. \n\n“I may just have a solution to this problem. Give me a minute or two.” Rubi said before pulling out her phone. Ruby gave her an understanding nod and stayed behind as her sister left the room. Ruby then turned her focus back to Micheal.\n\n“What does this tournament give, may I ask, money?” Ruby asked. \n\n“A bit, but also grades. With second place or higher, and some top end class work we might all be getting to S+Club by the time summer comes around.” Micheal replied. \n\n“What’s the S+Club?” Ruby asked Tommy. \n\n\t“It’s a special place for anyone who gets an S in a subject.” Tommy explained but as he noticed Ruby’s confusion he continued. “The best grade you can get with school work is an A. To get further than that you need to do work outside of school hours, such as a club or community service. An S grade shows ‘A deeper understanding of a subject outside of academic study, such as the use of real world application.’” Tommy further added. \n\n\t“I see. Do you have any S ranks?” Ruby asked. \n\n\t“Oh no, I don’t have a club I go to and even then…” Tommy replied shyly. \n\n\t“I have returned with a solution.” Rubi spoke as she entered the classroom again.\n\t“Wonderful to hear.” Ruby replied as she skipped over to rejoin her sister.\n\t“Micheal, if we could get a professional game developer to aid your team, would you permit us to have one of your team in return?” Rubi asked with a smile. \n\n\t“Sure, I can spare a guy for a few days if you can actually get us a good contact.” Micheal replied with a smirk. \n\n\t“Excellent, may I borrow this computer?” Rubi then asked.\n\n\t“Go nuts.” Micheal replied. \n\nRubi sat herself down two computers over from Micheal and logged into the computer systems. She brought up the school’s instant messenger and then checked her phone for a moment before slowly typing in a long string of numbers and letters into the contact ID. Once it was done the messenger dinged and began to load before finally a pale furred face popped up on call.\n\n\t“Ismi, is the connection good?” A voice rang out.\n\nThe clattering of typing stopped dead and the room went silent. Every ear was turned towards the computer, every eye locked towards where the voice had come from. Nobody moved though, as if staring down headlights in the dark. \n\n\t“Ismi, Sir. Thank you for your time. I will put Micheal on.” Rubi politely bowed. \n\nMicheal did not need another word said as he had already launched from his chair and rushed over to see. A second later and so did the rest of the students in the entire room. There was a buzz and a clatter as they all tried to crowd around the laughing face on the other end. \n\n\t“So we can borrow a guy?” Ruby spoke up while patting her sister on the shoulder.\n\n\t“Anyone, anytime, I would die for you right now!” Micheal said with zest.\n\n\t“No need, we shall see who suits our needs.” Rubi replied happily.\n\n\t“That would be me.” A new person spoke up from behind them. \nUnlike the rest of the students who had rushed to the computer, this one had stayed behind, and out of sight. He was a young lemur boy, about the same age as the girls, with one ear pierced and a streak of red across his hair. His style felt more out of place than the others. “Chip.” He said as he extended a hand to them. \n\n\t“A pleasure.” Ruby said as she shook his hand.\n\n\t“Follow me.” Chip said with a nod as he took up his school bag and moved towards the exit. The trio followed and once they were outside of the classroom he sat himself down on the ledge of a window. “Now we have some peace. I must say you two do live up to your name.” He spoke smoothly. \n\n\t“Whatever do you mean?” Ruby said coyly.\n\n\t“You got Nimato, the Nimato, on call within like five minutes” Tommy blurted out.\n\n\t“It was not hard. I saw his name on that poster with all the reviews on it so I looked him up, got into contact with his agent and then made a little trade offer.” Rubi explained. “He originally wanted us to give our seal of approval to his new project but we don’t give our approval to anything without testing and so he is going to fly us both to his headquarters next month for playtesting and a tour first.”\n\n\n\t“That sounds delightful. A very fair deal indeed I think.” Ruby spoke.\n\nTommy stood amazed and Chip just shook his head in amusement. \nThere was not a single person in the entire town that could have done what those girls did. \n\n\t“You wanted to employ me, you said?” Chip spoke up.\n\n\t“Oh yes, we have the contract on our phone.” Ruby said as she handed it to him. Chip took her phone and began to scroll through it. He nodded and smirked a few times, so much so that Tommy began to feel like he should have read those details before signing himself. \n\n\t“I accept of course. If your approval is worth as much as I think it is, then your very presence is worth accepting any terms or conditions you have.” Chip spoke honestly. “The pay ain’t bad either. Gaming is not getting any cheaper.”\n\n\t“Pay? We are getting paid?” Tommy spoke up.\n\n\t“Didn’t read the contract huh? Bold.” Chip replied. \n\n\t“I know, he’s so forward.” Ruby giggled. \n\n\t“Huh?” Tommy questioned. \n\n\t“Oh nothing, come now. We have two more team members to find.” Rubi giggled. \n\n\t“Two eh? If I may suggest, why not split up? You and Tom, Me and Ruby.” \n\nThe twins looked at each other.\nThey considered the suggestion in thought. It was a good suggestion, one that made sense. But to be apart from each other for so long would be quite the experience. They could not even remember how long it had been since they had last been truly separated. \n\n\t“That’s a good idea.” Rubi said with a nod.\n\t“Yes, more ground, less time wasted.” Ruby added with a nod.\n\n\t“Sweet, so who’s next on our team?” Chip said as he put an arm around Ruby’s shoulder. \n\n“We need an artist type, and an accountant of sorts. One good with finances and data.” Ruby said as she looked up to Chip with a grin. \n\n“Art’s pretty sweet, you mind taking the math side Tom?” Chip asked.\n\n“Eh, no that would be fine.” Tommy replied.\n\n“Nice. Let’s meet somewhere in an hour?” Chip then suggested. \n\n“Ah yes. How about reception?” Rubi replied.\n\n“Sounds smart.” Chip nodded.\n\n“Yeah. Alright.” Tommy said with a shy nod. \n\nWith the plan made the four split into two groups and headed in separate directions. From the library, Tommy and Rubi went left towards reception in order to then head up to the math classrooms while Chip and Ruby continued forward down the long corridor of the school, past the workshops, and to the art and music rooms. \n\nPart way down their long walk she put her arm around Chip’s hip and leaned closer into him.\n\n\t“People might get the wrong idea with us walking like this.” Ruby said playfully.\n\n\t“Would that be a problem?” Chip replied. \n\n\tDepends… How do you feel about my sister?” Ruby asked.\n\n\t“Hm, let me think. Excellent fashion sense, I mean that uniform is really classy. She has beautiful silver hair and eyes like a deep red rose. Oh and she is smart too, can not forget that.” Chip said.\n\n\t“And would you put your arm around her too?” Ruby asked.\n\nChip opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. His eyes squinted in thought and Ruby could almost hear his brain whirring to process her question. He then let out a click of his tongue. \n\n\t“I would. If you would be cool with that.” Chip said confidently. \n\n\t“I might be. But for now we do have work to do.” Ruby said as she skipped forward and out of his grasp. She fluttered her tail feathers and skipped onwards to the art room’s door. Chip put his hands into his pockets and followed her inside with a cocky grin. Unlike the neat and tidy IT club, the Art club was chaotic. There were people painting on easels and others sculpting clay while others still sat on the floor sketching stuff in a big circle. Every wall was covered with some kind of art, poster, painting or doodle.\n\nUnknown to the pair there was another person hidden out of sight as well. A young female rabbit with pale fur and blonde highlights who sat alone in a storage closet at the back of the classroom. This rabbit had their back to the door so that nobody would suddenly enter, and had their knees tucked up against their chest. Just like the darkness that cradled them, they also wore all black too. Heavy black boots, baggy black pants with chains hooked from belt to pocket, a black straight jacket inspired black hoodie that hugged their slender body. Even their hair had been dyed black.\n\nThey had been sitting here in the darkness all morning with nothing but the glow of their phone for company. Nothing but their phone and the many pictures saved within. You see, ever since the Hivally twins had joined the school, this rabbit had been sneakily collecting photos of them. Most were polite angles and cute scenes but a few had less tasteful meanings. \n\nFlicking from one photo to the next, the rabbit came across their most favorite photo once more. An upskirt that they had caught by luck when the two were sitting in the cafeteria. The sight of stark red panties standing out between black feathers and a black skirt, it was beautiful. The rabbit slowly licked their phone’s screen and started to pet themselves harder. White fingers sank deeper and deeper down their pants, and into their own darkness. This behavior was hardly new though as they had been spending every minute since monday sneaking away to bathrooms or hiding away in the darkness of closets. For days this had repeated and while their lust had only grown stronger, it had also grown more craven. The very idea of approaching the twins now seemed as difficult as approaching heaven with the hands of a sinner. \n\nSuddenly their long ears picked up the whisper of a noise, a sweet noise that they had heard several times before. With their heart skipping beats at the very thought, they got to their knees and pulled open the door just a crack, to find Ruby in the classroom. They stared intently at the young bird girl and watched as she wandered around asking questions about needing an artist. The rabbit did not know why she was here but to be even this close to one of the twins was maddening. \n\nQuietly, the rabbit closed the door. They pressed their head against it and bit their lip tightly as they pet themselves to completion. It was better than the other dozen times they had done it, and to the rabbit it was purely because Ruby was so close. \n\nDrunk on lust and desire, the rabbit wiped themselves clean with a spare rag before pulling up their pants and drying their hands on the carpet. They opened the door again and found that Ruby was still here. She had just finished inspecting all of the other students by the look of it but she did not look satisfied at all. Like a shadow, the rabbit snuck out of the closet and quietly began to approach as Ruby stook with her back to them. There was not a single rational thought in their mind. They simply desired to be closer to Ruby. They lusted for the bird so much that it ached and stained their underwear. It was terrifying, like approaching a beast in the dead of night but they could not stop their numb legs from carrying them forward. The rabbit crept up silently to the young bird girl. Closer and closer. She was so close now that she could smell the chocolate perfume on Ruby’s feathers. She could almost taste it.\n\n\t“Nothing here is quite what we were looking for.” Ruby said with a hand on her hip.\n\n\t“What were you looking for?” The rabbit asked without thinking. \nThey cringed on the inside at the question but she kept her outside cold and calm as still water. \n\nTurning around, Ruby found herself standing beak to nose with a white rabbit that she had not seen when wandering around the classroom before. Taking a step back, Ruby looked them over. The rabbit looked cute and intense in equal measure, with large, frenzied, eyes and yet soft features. Ruby liked their style but was unsure of the exact gender. Going with instinct, they chose one. \n\n\t“Hello, I’m…” Ruby tried to speak.\n\n“Ruby, with a Y.” The rabbit replied with dry lips and half breath. They tilted their head and stared at Ruby for a moment before realizing that they were being strange. And so they tilted their head in the other direction in an attempt to correct it. It was too much, to look at the face of an angel so closely and in so much detail. \n\nUnable to speak, the rabbit backed away from Ruby before spinning around and walking a few unsteady paces away. She was too excited and wanted to leave but as she attempted to stumble away, Ruby and Chip started to follow out of curiosity. \n\nUnable to think, the rabbit continued to walk forward until they ran out of classroom to cover. Taking a turn they headed into the closet in an attempt to see if the two would stop but they did not. Ruby flicked the lights on as she entered and continued to follow the rabbit deeper into the side room until they had run out of ground to cover. Ruby noticed that this smaller space seemed to be a large storage area for instruments and art supplies alike. It was clean but far from organized, and it had a warm, musty smell lingering in the air that almost seemed familiar.\n\nChip and Ruby approached the rabbit who had stopped in front of a large painting that was hidden behind a white sheet. The rabbit did not know what to do and in their quiet panic reached out to grab the sheet covering the painting. It was a last ditch attempt. They did not want to show it to the twins, not to those that they loved so intensely, but they needed Ruby to leave. \n\nThe painting was the masterpiece of the rabbit. Something that they had painted over several weeks of time when they had fallen into a deep, black, pit of depression. They held it with pride and love but the truth was simple. Every single person who had seen this painting had shortly left the rabbit and never come back. \n\nWith black painted fingers she pulled down the sheet in one swift motion.\nAnd Ruby was captivated. \n\nThis massive painting, taller than herself, was beautifully striking. The saddest and deepest of blacks had been clawed and scratched into a red canvas, while the depiction of a red moon bleeding in the starless sky over a faceless rabbit angel was hauntingly beautiful. The contrast of color, and the sharp, angular lines gave it such a violently emotional tone too.\n\n\t“It’s beautiful. But why is it back here?” Ruby asked.\n\nThe rabbit was surprised and confused. Why, why did Ruby like it. Nobody else liked it. Was she just being nice? No, that look in Ruby’s eyes was admiration and inspiration, not fear or disgust. There was a single truth here. The Rubies liked her artwork. \n\n“Who knows.” The stone faced rabbit shrugged as she nearly came on the spot. \n\n\t“It’s kind of sick. Very… Unique.” Chip said with less certainty. \n\n\t“And very eye-catching. Can you do graphic work, posters?” Ruby asked.\n\nThe rabbit swept their eyes up and down Ruby’s body. They had never imagined that someone as illustrious and beautiful like the Rubies would like her work. They were not sure if they could do proper graphical design but if it was for the Rubies… Then they would give anything. \n\n“If that is what you are looking for.” The rabbit replied flatly. \n\n\t“Great, so we have a contract as well… I didn’t catch your name?” Ruby said as she got her phone. The rabbit did not like their name. It was silly and did not match their soul, not like the Rubies with their elegant and fitting labels. No, what they needed was a label that was mature and mysterious, something black and beautiful. A word came to mind and the rabbit walked over until they were a little too close to Ruby, before leaning in a little closer.\n\n\t“My current label is… Mascara.” They replied while putting their hand on Ruby’s own.\n\n\t“A ‘stage name’ of sorts? Delightful, I've only ever read of them.” Ruby replied.\n\nApproval once again. Mascara was beyond drunk on her emotions at this point. They were drowning in them. They loved everything about Ruby, and in turn her twin sister. The smell of them, the softness of her hand and feathers, the beautiful red eyes sunk deep into a face of black and white. They were living painting, artwork fully realized into reality. \n\nThe phone beeped as the contract was signed and Mascara stepped away before the closeness grew to be too awkward. Ruby looked down to the phone and realized just then that Mascara was waiting for it to read her thumbprint. Ruby then raised her eyes back up to where Mascara had been standing, but she found the rabbit had vanished. \n\n\t“...So where do you desire me?” Mascara suddenly spoke from the opposite direction.\n\n\t“Well, we need to meet up with my sister soon.” Ruby replied.\n\n\t“Rubi with the I.” Mascara said with an unseen flick of her tail. \n\n\t“Yes, you have heard of us?” Ruby asked.\n\n\t“...You have loud names.” Mascara replied. \n\nMascara picked up the sheet from the floor near him and flung it over the painting before smoothing it out. They made sure that it was laid out just so, every corner of the fabric being precisely where they wanted it, before turning to Ruby. The two shared a long look in the quiet and enclosed space of the closet before Mascara tilted her head. \n\n“Are we waiting for something?” She asked. \n\n\t“Oh, no I… Let’s go.” Ruby said shyly.\n\nNot wanting to make the awkwardness any worse Ruby left the storage closet and then suddenly out a sharp sneeze. Now even more embarrassed she quickly headed for the exit with Chip following closely behind, and Mascara following at a more noticeable distance. While Macara wanted to be close to Ruby, they also needed time to calm themselves. Once they had left the art room, Ruby leaned over to Chip.\n\n\t“So what do you think of him?” Ruby whispered.\n\nMascara’s long ears heard the question though. \nRuby, in confusion of Mascara’s appearance, had chosen wrong. Macara debated to themselves if they wanted to correct Ruby but quickly decided to keep quiet for the time being.\n\n\t“He’s a bit out there but the artwork is cool.” \n\n\t“Yes. I like his art, and he’s… Unique.” Ruby replied.\n\n\t“Not the word I would have used but you’re the boss.” Chip replied with a shrug. \n\nPart way down the corridor they came to a stop as Ruby heard an odd noise. A sort of tapping. She turned her head this way and that before looking down. Suddenly a tile on the floor was pushed up and slid out of the way to reveal Rubi and Tommy. \n\nReaching up, Ruby helped her sister to get out of the dusty hole. \nShe brushed down her dress and shook her head before embracing her sister in a hug. \n\n\t“Why were you under the school?” Ruby asked.\n\t“We ran into some problems.” Rubi replied. \n\n\t“You could say that.” Tommy spoke up.” The Mathematics Club is out currently on a trip so we started asking around about anyone else who can do math but that somehow resulted in everybody wanting to ‘work for us’ and now we have a whole crowd looking for us.” Tommy explained. \n\n\t“Oh dear, that is quite the problem indeed.” Ruby replied. \n\nSuddenly Rubi spotted Mascara, she broke away from her sister and approached. \n\n\t“Oh hello, are you our new artist?” Rubi asked politely. \n\t“Yes. He’s a bit quiet and a little eccentric but his style is outstanding.” Ruby replied. \n\t“Excellent, it’s nice to meet you.” Rubi said while offering to shake their hand. \n\nMascara slowly stepped forward and offered their hand to Rubi. Their heart was a flutter but they kept everything on the outside as cold and flat as ever. The feeling of Rubi’s hand against their own though, it made their tail twitch and their heart dance. To touch not only Ruby but also Rubi on the same day was enough to make them ache. \n\nWhile shaking Mascara’s cold hand, Rubi spotted more kids coming in at the end of the corridor near the art and music rooms. Stepping back she tucked herself away near the wall. \n\n“Bother, both sides are covered now.” Rubi spoke.\n\n“Quick, get in here.” Chip said as he dashed into the home economics room. The others quickly followed suit, followed a bit slower by Mascara at the end. Tommy closed the door and pulled down the cover for the door’s window before letting out a sigh. \n\n“They will get bored eventually.” Chip said smoothly while leaning against a table. \n\n\t“I certainly hope sooner than later.” Ruby said.\n\t“They have been quite… Persistent so far.” Rubi added. \n\nThe girls suddenly caught the scent of something very delicious in the air. They knew that smell closely. Red velvet cake, freshly baked and just pulled from the oven. The girls sniffed the air deeply and then started to follow the smell across the large and wide room. Turning a corner into the kitchen section of the room they found a very tall lizard boy humming a cute little tune, with a pink apron around his neck, and a mixing bowl in his hands. At a glance they were sure he was some form of monitor lizard due to his long statue and patterns but it was hard to tell.\n\n\t“Is that genuine Red Chocolate?” Ruby asked.\n\nBefore Rubi could add to that question however the boy let out a loud hiss of surprise and threw his bowl straight into the air. Chip ran forward and smoothly caught the bowl before it could make a mess or do anyone any harm. \n\n\t“Whoa there, be careful.” Chip said while catching his breath. \n\n\t“Sssorry.” The lizard boy spoke with a thick blush. \n\nChip handed the bowl back to him and the lizard boy took it with shaking hands. \nHe stood shyly, his long tail wrapping around his legs and his head lowering like a wilting plant.\n\n\t“Pure red velvet is hard to make because you need Red Chocolate, and that’s much rarer to find than the normal Brown variety.” Rubi spoke up gently as she approached. “It takes quite a lot of skill as well not to burn. Can we give it a try, if it's not for someone?” She asked nicely. \n\n\t“Mhm.” The boy nodded as he relaxed a little.\n\nSeeing the situation, Chip grabbed Tommy and began to drag him away from the kitchen area and over to the tables where Mascara had been quietly sitting. \n\n\t“Give them some space to work.” He spoke up to the flailing deer boy. \n\nThe girls watched as the lizard boy finished mixing up the icing before putting it over a cake that had been cooling on the side. He worked with clear skill and a noticeable eye for detail. After it was finished he cut a small piece for the two girls. It looked perfect, and smelled delicious but the taste was even better. It was on par with the finest baking and cooking that the girls had tried. \n\n\t“Beautiful work, some of the best velvet I have tried.” Ruby moaned. \n\t“Excellently well balanced and crafted, truly.” Rubi added. \n\n\t“It’sss not that good.” He replied cutely while fiddling with his hands.\n\n\t“Oh it really is. You have a talent for this.” Rubi replied with a nod.\n\t“May I ask what your name is?” Ruby then asked.\n\n\t“June.” He replied. \n\n\t“Nice to meet you June.” Ruby said warmly.\n\t“Do you have any tea here? It goes well with cake.” Rubi suggested.\n\n\t“Yeah, I do. T-take a ssseat… If you want to.” June said.\n\n\t“We shall, take your time.” Ruby said warmly. \n\t“And thank you for the cake.” Rubi said while taking some more. \n\nThe girls returned to the tables and seats on the other side of the room and placed the plate of red velvet down next to some cookbooks and random paperwork that had been left there. As well as some forks and some cups for everybody.\n\n\t“Help yourself, it’s amazingly good quality.” Ruby said. \n\nAs the boys tried out the cake, the girls sat down together and began to look over the paperwork on the desk. They had noticed in passing that there was a lot of information being worked here. Dates, times, the weights of ingredients, the locations of where they were bought, as well as what price. Every little detail for every single ingredient in the cake had been perfectly calculated to maximize quality while minimizing cost. Red Chocolate was always more expensive than Brown but June had managed to make it affordable to even standard businesses. \n\nThe girls gave a knowing look to each other and then nodded. \n\nSoon enough June approached the table. He still wore the apron but seemed a little less nervous now. He poured the girls some tea before doing the same for the boys. Sitting down between Ruby and Chip he then poured himself a cup. \n\n\t“I don’t get many visssitors in here…” June quietly muttered. \n\n\t“Not a fan of clubs then?” Rubi asked.\n\n\t“Thisss… Is the Home Economics Club.” \n\n\t“Just yourself?” Ruby asked. \n\nJune nodded and flicked his tongue out before breathing in the vapors of the tea. \n\n\t“It’sss… Not popular.” June explained. \n\n\t“A shame. Proper home making has a lot of practical skills.” Ruby spoke.\n\t“Cooking, cleaning, finances, small repairs, tailoring I believe?” Rubi added.\n\t“Everybody could do with having those sorts of skills.” Ruby nodded.\n\n\t“Yeah, that’s why I made this club. I want to be useful.” June said sweetly. \n\nThe girls gave a look to each other and smirked a little.\n\n\t“We do have a need for a very useful boy on that note.” Ruby spoke up.\n\t“Our company needs someone good with finances and the like.” Rubi added.\n\t“Would you be interested in joining us?” Ruby asked. \n\nThe girls had thought they had landed him, but June shook his head.\n\n\t“I am not interested in work.” He said. \n\n\t“I thought you wanted to be useful?” Chip spoke up.\n\n\t“Yes, at home. My dream is to find the love of my life and support her eternally as a dedicated household husband. That's why I am majoring in home-ec and everything…” June said with a dreamy smile and a flick to his long tail. Chip however rolled his eyes.\n\n\t“Work experience could help quite nicely with that.” Ruby said. \n\t“It would be a proven way to show your skills in a real world setting.” Rubi nodded.\n\t“Organizing dates, cleaning the treehouse…” Ruby added casually.\n\n\t“Like a secretary? Or maybe a maid?” June spoke up with excitement. \n\n\t“Yeah, with a few extra tasks on the side.” Ruby said with a glance to her sister.\n\n\t“I’ve always wanted to help some pretty girls with their day to day tasks.” June said happily before blushing at the realization of what he said. “I-I would be delighted to help you two.” He nodded.\n\n\t“Excellent, here is our contract.” Ruby said as she held out her phone for him.\n\t“We just need your thumbprint to confirm.” Rubi added.\n\nJune shyly held out his hand and Rubi took it. She held it with her own and helped him to put his thumb on the right part of the screen. She looked at him warmly and rubbed her thumb against the scales of his hand gently. Chip smirked as he noticed her actions but did say anything. \n\n\t“All done.” Rubi said as the phone beeped. \n\nThe two girls let out a sigh of relief at having gotten their team together. They might not have been what they were expecting but they were already enjoying having so many new friends to be around. The group took a moment to talk and hang out before Tommy went to have a peek outside to see if the crowds had left. Finding it clear he signaled to the rest. \n\n\t“Does everybody want to come to our place?” Ruby asked as they left the room.\n\t“A celebration of our new found fellowship would be lovely.” Rubi added.\n\n\t“A free party at an actual mansion?” Chip spoke up as he started to get ideas. “That’s sweet. I know a banging pizza place for later too.” Chip added with a snap of his fingers. \n\n\t“I have coupons for special sides.” June added quietly.\n\n\t“Ay nice, a fellow grease lover.” Chip replied with a soft shoulder bump.\n\n\t“I got music.” Mascara chimed in from between Chip and June. \n\n\t“We got arcade machines.” Ruby spoke up next.\n\t“And we would love to see you guys try to beat our dad’s score.” Rubi continued.\n\t“Or our own scores.” Ruby added playfully. \n\n\t“Easy. Some of us only had old retro consoles to play on when we were young.” Tommy replied with a spark of confidence that they had not seen in him before. Soon enough the chatter between the friends grew and with it they began to also grow more comfortable with each other. \n\nThe twins, more than anyone else, were happy. \nThey had not only managed to realize a dream of theirs but they had done it in less than a week. There was still much to do and a long road ahead of them but now they did not have to travel it alone.",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>It was a warm and lazy morning. <br />The two girls lay on their comfortable bed with nothing on but their hair bands. They were so close that every breath mixed together into the air. Two heads sharing one pillow and two sets of tail feathers happily brushing against the fabric as their red eyes gazed lazily at the TV at the foot of their bed.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;She&rsquo;s clearly faking it.&rdquo; Ruby spoke, while rubbing her sister&rsquo;s privates gently. <br />\t&ldquo;The guy sure is not, though.&rdquo; Rubi replied, while rubbing her sister in turn. <br /><br />The erotic movie playing out in front of them continued to drag on and on until eventually Ruby used her spare hand to reach over to her laptop and pause it. She clicked through a few tabs and closed the current one open before playing something different. She nestled back down onto her pillow and waited for it to get going. <br /><br />Right away it was more promising than the last. It featured two main actors. A rabbit female with a petite build but long, dangling ears, and a particularly big fox male. The two had chemistry, from lingering glances to the playful movements of every pawstep and hand hold. Within a few minutes as well they were already getting to the main act. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Do you think they are married?&rdquo; Rubi asked.<br />\t&ldquo;They certainly have a familiarity that co-workers would not.&rdquo; Ruby replied. <br />\t&ldquo;But then again their job is to have sex and make it look good&hellip;&rdquo; Rubi pondered. <br />\t&ldquo;So that raises the question, how much is workplace acting and how much is genuine attraction that is being captured on camera. I do wonder if actual emotions look better than something carefully sculpted or if fiction, being so precisely practiced, would appear better than reality.&rdquo; Ruby spoke as her sister nodded along thoughtfully. <br />\t&ldquo;She&rsquo;s also really good at taking it up the ass.&rdquo; Rubi whispered. <br /><br />They let out a giggle and then leaned into each other as their breath got a little quicker. As they got closer to the rush of their climax they turned their red eyes towards each other, and stared deeply into each other&rsquo;s souls before finally little out a little squeak and squeezing each other&rsquo;s hands with their thighs. This brief moment of serenity was but one of many that they had enjoyed this morning. <br /><br />The twins sighed and continued to watch for a few minutes even as their hands came to a stop. Eventually the moment passed and Ruby reached over to close the tabs and shut down the laptop. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Tommy will be coming soon.&rdquo; Rubi spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;Indeed, we should clean up before he arrives.&rdquo; Ruby replied. <br /><br />After pulling themselves off the bed, the two stretched out their stiff bodies from laying down for so long. They looked to each other on the other side of the bed and in tandem walked over to the foot of it before joining hands and continuing down to the bathroom. They took a short shower to clean their feathers and refresh themselves before getting dressed.<br /><br />Ruby went over to the TV and pressed a button on the side that caused it to lower back down into the floor. Rubi meanwhile picked their nightgowns and panties off the floor and tossed them all into the laundry basket. She then crawled over the bed to open up the window behind it. <br /><br />With their meager chores now finished they pocketed their phones and headed downstairs. Leaving through the front door they walked all the way down the long driveway to the front gate.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Good morning.&rdquo; Ruby chirped to the man behind the security booth. <br />He was a young equine of some sort, with a blue streak in his hair and a piercing in his ear. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Not taking the limo today?&rdquo; The young pony replied warmly.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;We are meeting a friend.&rdquo; Rubi replied.<br />\t&ldquo;And the weather is quite nice today.&rdquo; Ruby added. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Sounds great.&rdquo; He said as he pressed some unseen button and the heavy metal gates to the estate began to open automatically. &ldquo;Take care out there.&rdquo; He then said as they started to walk away. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;We really should walk more, it&rsquo;s quite refreshing.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;A good way to see the town as well.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br /><br />The two continued to head down their long driveway until finally reaching the road at the bottom. They looked both ways and crossed over to find Tommy sitting at a bench. They waved to him and ran the rest of the way over. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Heya girls. How was your morning?&rdquo; Tommy asked politely.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;It was lovely. We slept in and have been watching TV.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;Quite a nice break after so much school.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I know that feeling. Are we heading straight to school then or a stop first?&rdquo; <br /><br />\t&ldquo;School is the plan&hellip;&rdquo; Rubi spoke.<br />\t&ldquo;But we would not mind enjoying the sunshine on the way.&rdquo; Ruby added. <br /><br />They began their travels by heading into the cul-de-sac nearest to the estate. The houses were laid out in the shape of a light bulb, with a very round dead end, and a thinner neck leading outside. Between each of them was a thick and tall hedge, while smaller fences helped divide the gardens and pavement.<br />There were kids playing hockey in the street, the smell of grilled food wafting over the small houses, and the sound of some amusement or work could be heard floating in the very wind. The girls were amazed by just how fast the mood can change from one street to the next, and they very quickly started to love the louder, busier, mood that this one had. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Do you live here?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yeah, at the end of the street. It&rsquo;s near a shortcut.&rdquo; Tommy replied. <br /><br />True to his word. <br /><br />Stepping inside of the hedge they found that it was not just a hedge. The inside had two tall fences running parallel to each other, with a noticeable gap in the middle. This singular hedge was in fact two hedges that had grown up and then over the two fences until none of the original fencing could be seen. <br /><br />The girls were in awe of this wondrous little structure. It smelled mossy and rich like a forest, and had dappled light streaming in from above too. Tommy let them soak it in for a minute before giving them a wave and continuing down the path. <br /><br />This tunnel ran deeper than they were expecting and it grew darker as they headed further in. The twins were almost certain that they were about to stumble into a different reality when suddenly they crossed though a threshold and were back outside again. The sunlight was strong on their eyes and they had to stop to adjust but Tommy was already marching on ahead. <br /><br />When they could see again they found themselves in a park. There was lush, well maintained grass as far as the eye could see as well as many trees although they all sat some distance from each other. They found Tommy waiting for them under the shade of the nearest tree and so picked up the pace to rejoin him. The shadows that pooled along the earthy roots of the great oak were welcomingly cool compared to the sun and as they all moved from one tree&rsquo;s shadow to the next, it felt like they were sailing from one island of shadow to the next on a great green ocean. <br /><br />Tommy meanwhile was enjoying something different. <br /><br />Eventually they made it out of the park, and from there it was just one long and leisurely walk down the road until they got to the school. After entering the reception area, the twins took the chance to sit down for a moment while Tommy signed them in. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Where do we go first?&rdquo; Tommy asked. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;The tech guy.&rdquo; The two girls spoke in unison. <br />\t&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve never been too good with code.&rdquo; Ruby spoke next.<br />\t&ldquo;And yet everything requires computers nowadays.&rdquo; Rubi then added. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;IT club it is.&rdquo; Tommy said with certainty. <br /><br />The girls got up from their chairs and followed Tommy. <br /><br />Bravely the twins went first and knocked politely on the door before going straight in. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Not quite as dark or dingy as I was expecting.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;And the boys are so much more&hellip; Cute.&rdquo; Rubi added while eyeing a fluffy possum boy. <br /><br />The three moved further into the room but nobody took their eyes off their computers. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Good morning, I am Ruby with a Y.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;And I am Rubi with an I.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br />\t&ldquo;We are looking to employ one of substantial technical ability.&rdquo; Ruby continued. <br /><br />Nobody replied. Nobody even turned their heads or eyes to look at the twins. <br />But then suddenly a hand shot up across the room, followed by a few clicks of their fingers.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Ugh names, Micheal. What did you want?&rdquo; A bluebird spoke wearily. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;We are in need of someone who can do website design and application work.&rdquo; Rubi repeated as they approached the tired looking bluebird. He glanced at them for a second before turning his head to look at the whiteboard. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Too busy, we have nine days until a game design tournament. Nobody can be spared to go play games with you right now.&rdquo; Micheal replied. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Is there any way we could help so that you could spare someone?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br />\t<br />\t&ldquo;Unless you can find someone of equal or greater skill, then maybe, but all the best coders in the school are already in this room.&rdquo; Micheal explained. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Maybe we should wait until the tournament is over?&rdquo; Tommy suggested. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Nine days is far too long.&rdquo; Rubi shook her head.<br />\t&ldquo;We need a faster way to solve this coding crisis.&rdquo; Rubi nodded. <br /><br />&ldquo;How about looking around the school? Maybe there is someone with a hidden talent?&rdquo; Tommy suggested as he watched the twins slowly pacing around one of the desks. Suddenly they came to a stop. <br /><br />&ldquo;I may just have a solution to this problem. Give me a minute or two.&rdquo; Rubi said before pulling out her phone. Ruby gave her an understanding nod and stayed behind as her sister left the room. Ruby then turned her focus back to Micheal.<br /><br />&ldquo;What does this tournament give, may I ask, money?&rdquo; Ruby asked. <br /><br />&ldquo;A bit, but also grades. With second place or higher, and some top end class work we might all be getting to S+Club by the time summer comes around.&rdquo; Micheal replied. <br /><br />&ldquo;What&rsquo;s the S+Club?&rdquo; Ruby asked Tommy. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;s a special place for anyone who gets an S in a subject.&rdquo; Tommy explained but as he noticed Ruby&rsquo;s confusion he continued. &ldquo; The best grade you can get with school work is an A. To get further than that you need to do work outside of school hours, such as a club or community service. An S grade shows &lsquo;A deeper understanding of a subject outside of academic study, such as the use of real world application.&rsquo;&rdquo; Tommy further added. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I see. Do you have any S ranks?&rdquo; Ruby asked. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh no, I don&rsquo;t have a club I go to and even then&hellip;&rdquo; Tommy replied shyly. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I have returned with a solution.&rdquo; Rubi spoke as she entered the classroom again.<br />\t&ldquo;Wonderful to hear.&rdquo; Ruby replied as she skipped over to rejoin her sister.<br />\t&ldquo;Micheal, if we could get a professional game developer to aid your team, would you permit us to have one of your team in return?&rdquo; Rubi asked with a smile. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Sure, I can spare a guy for a few days if you can actually get us a good contact.&rdquo; Micheal replied with a smirk. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Excellent, may I borrow this computer?&rdquo; Rubi then asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Go nuts.&rdquo; Micheal replied. <br /><br />Rubi sat herself down two computers over from Micheal and logged into the computer systems. She brought up the school&rsquo;s instant messenger and then checked her phone for a moment before slowly typing in a long string of numbers and letters into the contact ID. Once it was done the messenger dinged and began to load before finally a pale furred face popped up on call.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Ismi, is the connection good?&rdquo; A voice rang out.<br /><br />The clattering of typing stopped dead and the room went silent. Every ear was turned towards the computer, every eye locked towards where the voice had come from. Nobody moved though, as if staring down headlights in the dark. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Ismi, Sir. Thank you for your time. I will put Micheal on.&rdquo; Rubi politely bowed.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />Micheal did not need another word said as he had already launched from his chair and rushed over to see. A second later and so did the rest of the students in the entire room. There was a buzz and a clatter as they all tried to crowd around the laughing face on the other end. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;So we can borrow a guy?&rdquo; Ruby spoke up while patting her sister on the shoulder.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Anyone, anytime, I would die for you right now!&rdquo; Micheal said with zest.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;No need, we shall see who suits our needs.&rdquo; Rubi replied happily.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;That would be me.&rdquo; A new person spoke up from behind them. <br />Unlike the rest of the students who had rushed to the computer, this one had stayed behind, and out of sight. He was a young lemur boy, about the same age as the girls, with one ear pierced and a streak of red across his hair. His style felt more out of place than the others. &ldquo;Chip.&rdquo; He said as he extended a hand to them. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;A pleasure.&rdquo; Ruby said as she shook his hand.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Follow me.&rdquo; Chip said with a nod as he took up his school bag and moved towards the exit. The trio followed and once they were outside of the classroom he sat himself down on the ledge of a window. &ldquo; Now we have some peace. I must say you two do live up to your name.&rdquo; He spoke smoothly. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Whatever do you mean?&rdquo; Ruby said coyly.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;You got Nimato, the Nimato, on call within like five minutes&rdquo; Tommy blurted out.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;It was not hard. I saw his name on that poster with all the reviews on it so I looked him up, got into contact with his agent and then made a little trade offer.&rdquo; Rubi explained. &ldquo; He originally wanted us to give our seal of approval to his new project but we don&rsquo;t give our approval to anything without testing and so he is going to fly us both to his headquarters next month for playtesting and a tour first.&rdquo;<br /><br /><br />\t&ldquo;That sounds delightful. A very fair deal indeed I think.&rdquo; Ruby spoke.<br /><br />Tommy stood amazed and Chip just shook his head in amusement. <br />There was not a single person in the entire town that could have done what those girls did. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;You wanted to employ me, you said?&rdquo; Chip spoke up.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh yes, we have the contract on our phone.&rdquo; Ruby said as she handed it to him. Chip took her phone and began to scroll through it. He nodded and smirked a few times, so much so that Tommy began to feel like he should have read those details before signing himself. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I accept of course. If your approval is worth as much as I think it is, then your very presence is worth accepting any terms or conditions you have.&rdquo; Chip spoke honestly. &ldquo; The pay ain&rsquo;t bad either. Gaming is not getting any cheaper.&rdquo;<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Pay? We are getting paid?&rdquo; Tommy spoke up.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Didn&rsquo;t read the contract huh? Bold.&rdquo; Chip replied. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I know, he&rsquo;s so forward.&rdquo; Ruby giggled. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Huh?&rdquo; Tommy questioned. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh nothing, come now. We have two more team members to find.&rdquo; Rubi giggled. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Two eh? If I may suggest, why not split up? You and Tom, Me and Ruby.&rdquo; <br /><br />The twins looked at each other.<br />They considered the suggestion in thought. It was a good suggestion, one that made sense. But to be apart from each other for so long would be quite the experience. They could not even remember how long it had been since they had last been truly separated. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;That&rsquo;s a good idea.&rdquo; Rubi said with a nod.<br />\t&ldquo;Yes, more ground, less time wasted.&rdquo; Ruby added with a nod.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Sweet, so who&rsquo;s next on our team?&rdquo; Chip said as he put an arm around Ruby&rsquo;s shoulder. <br /><br />&ldquo;We need an artist type, and an accountant of sorts. One good with finances and data.&rdquo; Ruby said as she looked up to Chip with a grin. <br /><br />&ldquo;Art&rsquo;s pretty sweet, you mind taking the math side Tom?&rdquo; Chip asked.<br /><br />&ldquo;Eh, no that would be fine.&rdquo; Tommy replied.<br /><br />&ldquo;Nice. Let&rsquo;s meet somewhere in an hour?&rdquo; Chip then suggested. <br /><br />&ldquo;Ah yes. How about reception?&rdquo; Rubi replied.<br /><br />&ldquo;Sounds smart.&rdquo; Chip nodded.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yeah. Alright.&rdquo; Tommy said with a shy nod. <br /><br />With the plan made the four split into two groups and headed in separate directions. From the library, Tommy and Rubi went left towards reception in order to then head up to the math classrooms while Chip and Ruby continued forward down the long corridor of the school, past the workshops, and to the art and music rooms. <br /><br />Part way down their long walk she put her arm around Chip&rsquo;s hip and leaned closer into him.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;People might get the wrong idea with us walking like this.&rdquo; Ruby said playfully.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Would that be a problem?&rdquo; Chip replied. <br /><br />\tDepends&hellip; How do you feel about my sister?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Hm, let me think. Excellent fashion sense, I mean that uniform is really classy. She has beautiful silver hair and eyes like a deep red rose. Oh and she is smart too, can not forget that.&rdquo; Chip said.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;And would you put your arm around her too?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />Chip opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. His eyes squinted in thought and Ruby could almost hear his brain whirring to process her question. He then let out a click of his tongue. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I would. If you would be cool with that.&rdquo; Chip said confidently. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I might be. But for now we do have work to do.&rdquo; Ruby said as she skipped forward and out of his grasp. She fluttered her tail feathers and skipped onwards to the art room&rsquo;s door. Chip put his hands into his pockets and followed her inside with a cocky grin. Unlike the neat and tidy IT club, the Art club was chaotic. There were people painting on easels and others sculpting clay while others still sat on the floor sketching stuff in a big circle. Every wall was covered with some kind of art, poster, painting or doodle.<br /><br />Unknown to the pair there was another person hidden out of sight as well. Even their hair had been dyed black.<br /><br />They had been sitting here in the darkness all morning with nothing but the glow of their phone for company. Nothing but their phone and the many pictures saved within. You see, ever since the Hivally twins had joined the school, this rabbit had been sneakily collecting photos of them. Most were polite angles and cute scenes but a few had less tasteful meanings. <br /><br />Flicking from one photo to the next, the rabbit came across their most favorite photo once more. An upskirt that they had caught by luck when the two were sitting in the cafeteria. The sight of stark red panties standing out between black feathers and a black skirt, it was beautiful. The rabbit slowly licked their phone&rsquo;s screen and started to pet themselves harder. <br /><br />Suddenly their long ears picked up the whisper of a noise, a sweet noise that they had heard several times before. <br /><br />Quietly, the rabbit closed the door. They pressed their head against it and bit their lip tightly as they pet themselves to completion. It was better than the other dozen times they had done it, and to the rabbit it was purely because Ruby was so close. <br /><br />Drunk on lust and desire, the rabbit wiped themselves clean with a spare rag before pulling up their pants and drying their hands on the carpet. She was so close now that she could smell the chocolate perfume on Ruby&rsquo;s feathers. She could almost taste it.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Nothing here is quite what we were looking for.&rdquo; Ruby said with a hand on her hip.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;What were you looking for?&rdquo; The rabbit asked without thinking. <br />They cringed on the inside at the question but she kept her outside cold and calm as still water. <br /><br />Turning around, Ruby found herself standing beak to nose with a white rabbit that she had not seen when wandering around the classroom before. Taking a step back, Ruby looked them over. The rabbit looked cute and intense in equal measure, with large, frenzied, eyes and yet soft features. Ruby liked their style but was unsure of the exact gender. Going with instinct, they chose one. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Hello, I&rsquo;m&hellip;&rdquo; Ruby tried to speak.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ruby, with a Y.&rdquo; The rabbit replied with dry lips and half breath. They tilted their head and stared at Ruby for a moment before realizing that they were being strange. And so they tilted their head in the other direction in an attempt to correct it. It was too much, to look at the face of an angel so closely and in so much detail. <br /><br />Unable to speak, the rabbit backed away from Ruby before spinning around and walking a few unsteady paces away. She was too excited and wanted to leave but as she attempted to stumble away, Ruby and Chip started to follow out of curiosity. <br /><br />Unable to think, the rabbit continued to walk forward until they ran out of classroom to cover. It was clean but far from organized, and it had a warm, musty smell lingering in the air that almost seemed familiar.<br /><br />Chip and Ruby approached the rabbit who had stopped in front of a large painting that was hidden behind a white sheet. The rabbit did not know what to do and in their quiet panic reached out to grab the sheet covering the painting. It was a last ditch attempt. They did not want to show it to the twins, not to those that they loved so intensely, but they needed Ruby to leave. <br /><br />The painting was the masterpiece of the rabbit. Something that they had painted over several weeks of time when they had fallen into a deep, black, pit of depression. They held it with pride and love but the truth was simple. Every single person who had seen this painting had shortly left the rabbit and never come back. <br /><br />With black painted fingers she pulled down the sheet in one swift motion.<br />And Ruby was captivated. <br /><br />This massive painting, taller than herself, was beautifully striking. The saddest and deepest of blacks had been clawed and scratched into a red canvas, while the depiction of a red moon bleeding in the starless sky over a faceless rabbit angel was hauntingly beautiful. The contrast of color, and the sharp, angular lines gave it such a violently emotional tone too.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;s beautiful. But why is it back here?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />The rabbit was surprised and confused. Why, why did Ruby like it. Nobody else liked it. Was she just being nice? No, that look in Ruby&rsquo;s eyes was admiration and inspiration, not fear or disgust. There was a single truth here. The Rubies liked her artwork. <br /><br />&ldquo;Who knows.&rdquo; The stone faced rabbit shrugged as she nearly came on the spot. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;s kind of sick. Very&hellip; Unique.&rdquo; Chip said with less certainty. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;And very eye-catching. Can you do graphic work, posters?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />The rabbit swept their eyes up and down Ruby&rsquo;s body. They had never imagined that someone as illustrious and beautiful like the Rubies would like her work. They were not sure if they could do proper graphical design but if it was for the Rubies&hellip; Then they would give anything. <br /><br />&ldquo;If that is what you are looking for.&rdquo; The rabbit replied flatly. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Great, so we have a contract as well&hellip; I didn&rsquo;t catch your name?&rdquo; Ruby said as she got her phone. The rabbit did not like their name. It was silly and did not match their soul, not like the Rubies with their elegant and fitting labels. No, what they needed was a label that was mature and mysterious, something black and beautiful. A word came to mind and the rabbit walked over until they were a little too close to Ruby, before leaning in a little closer.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;My current label is&hellip; Mascara.&rdquo; They replied while putting their hand on Ruby&rsquo;s own.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;A &lsquo;stage name&rsquo; of sorts? Delightful, I&#039;ve only ever read of them.&rdquo; Ruby replied.<br /><br />Approval once again. <br /><br />The phone beeped as the contract was signed and Mascara stepped away before the closeness grew to be too awkward. Ruby looked down to the phone and realized just then that Mascara was waiting for it to read her thumbprint. Ruby then raised her eyes back up to where Mascara had been standing, but she found the rabbit had vanished. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;...So where do you desire me?&rdquo; Mascara suddenly spoke from the opposite direction.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Well, we need to meet up with my sister soon.&rdquo; Ruby replied.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Rubi with the I.&rdquo; Mascara said with an unseen flick of her tail. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yes, you have heard of us?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;...You have loud names.&rdquo; Mascara replied. <br /><br />Mascara picked up the sheet from the floor near him and flung it over the painting before smoothing it out. They made sure that it was laid out just so, every corner of the fabric being precisely where they wanted it, before turning to Ruby. The two shared a long look in the quiet and enclosed space of the closet before Mascara tilted her head. <br /><br />&ldquo;Are we waiting for something?&rdquo; She asked. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh, no I&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Let&rsquo;s go.&rdquo; Ruby said shyly.<br /><br />Not wanting to make the awkwardness any worse Ruby left the storage closet and then suddenly out a sharp sneeze. Now even more embarrassed she quickly headed for the exit with Chip following closely behind, and Mascara following at a more noticeable distance. While Macara wanted to be close to Ruby, they also needed time to calm themselves. Once they had left the art room, Ruby leaned over to Chip.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;So what do you think of him?&rdquo; Ruby whispered.<br /><br />Mascara&rsquo;s long ears heard the question though. <br />Ruby, in confusion of Mascara&rsquo;s appearance, had chosen wrong. Macara debated to themselves if they wanted to correct Ruby but quickly decided to keep quiet for the time being.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;He&rsquo;s a bit out there but the artwork is cool.&rdquo; <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yes. I like his art, and he&rsquo;s&hellip; Unique.&rdquo; Ruby replied.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Not the word I would have used but you&rsquo;re the boss.&rdquo; Chip replied with a shrug. <br /><br />Part way down the corridor they came to a stop as Ruby heard an odd noise. A sort of tapping. She turned her head this way and that before looking down. Suddenly a tile on the floor was pushed up and slid out of the way to reveal Rubi and Tommy. <br /><br />Reaching up, Ruby helped her sister to get out of the dusty hole. <br />She brushed down her dress and shook her head before embracing her sister in a hug. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Why were you under the school?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br />\t&ldquo;We ran into some problems.&rdquo; Rubi replied. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;You could say that.&rdquo; Tommy spoke up.&rdquo; The Mathematics Club is out currently on a trip so we started asking around about anyone else who can do math but that somehow resulted in everybody wanting to &lsquo;work for us&rsquo; and now we have a whole crowd looking for us.&rdquo; Tommy explained. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh dear, that is quite the problem indeed.&rdquo; Ruby replied. <br /><br />Suddenly Rubi spotted Mascara, she broke away from her sister and approached. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh hello, are you our new artist?&rdquo; Rubi asked politely. <br />\t&ldquo;Yes. He&rsquo;s a bit quiet and a little eccentric but his style is outstanding.&rdquo; Ruby replied. <br />\t&ldquo;Excellent, it&rsquo;s nice to meet you.&rdquo; Rubi said while offering to shake their hand. <br /><br />Mascara slowly stepped forward and offered their hand to Rubi. Their heart was a flutter but they kept everything on the outside as cold and flat as ever. The feeling of Rubi&rsquo;s hand against their own though, it made their tail twitch and their heart dance. To touch not only Ruby but also Rubi on the same day was enough to make them ache. <br /><br />While shaking Mascara&rsquo;s cold hand, Rubi spotted more kids coming in at the end of the corridor near the art and music rooms. Stepping back she tucked herself away near the wall. <br /><br />&ldquo;Bother, both sides are covered now.&rdquo; Rubi spoke.<br /><br />&ldquo;Quick, get in here.&rdquo; Chip said as he dashed into the home economics room. The others quickly followed suit, followed a bit slower by Mascara at the end. Tommy closed the door and pulled down the cover for the door&rsquo;s window before letting out a sigh. <br /><br />&ldquo;They will get bored eventually.&rdquo; Chip said smoothly while leaning against a table. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I certainly hope sooner than later.&rdquo; Ruby said.<br />\t&ldquo;They have been quite&hellip; Persistent so far.&rdquo; Rubi added. <br /><br />The girls suddenly caught the scent of something very delicious in the air. At a glance they were sure he was some form of monitor lizard due to his long statue and patterns but it was hard to tell.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Is that genuine Red Chocolate?&rdquo; Ruby asked.<br /><br />Before Rubi could add to that question however the boy let out a loud hiss of surprise and threw his bowl straight into the air. Chip ran forward and smoothly caught the bowl before it could make a mess or do anyone any harm. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Whoa there, be careful.&rdquo; Chip said while catching his breath. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Sssorry.&rdquo; The lizard boy spoke with a thick blush. <br /><br />Chip handed the bowl back to him and the lizard boy took it with shaking hands. <br />He stood shyly, his long tail wrapping around his legs and his head lowering like a wilting plant.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Pure red velvet is hard to make because you need Red Chocolate, and that&rsquo;s much rarer to find than the normal Brown variety.&rdquo; Rubi spoke up gently as she approached. &ldquo; It takes quite a lot of skill as well not to burn. Can we give it a try, if it&#039;s not for someone?&rdquo; She asked nicely. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Mhm.&rdquo; The boy nodded as he relaxed a little.<br /><br />Seeing the situation, Chip grabbed Tommy and began to drag him away from the kitchen area and over to the tables where Mascara had been quietly sitting. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Give them some space to work.&rdquo; He spoke up to the flailing deer boy. <br /><br />The girls watched as the lizard boy finished mixing up the icing before putting it over a cake that had been cooling on the side. He worked with clear skill and a noticeable eye for detail. After it was finished he cut a small piece for the two girls. It looked perfect, and smelled delicious but the taste was even better. It was on par with the finest baking and cooking that the girls had tried. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Beautiful work, some of the best velvet I have tried.&rdquo; Ruby moaned. <br />\t&ldquo;Excellently well balanced and crafted, truly.&rdquo; Rubi added. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;sss not that good.&rdquo; He replied cutely while fiddling with his hands.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Oh it really is. You have a talent for this.&rdquo; Rubi replied with a nod.<br />\t&ldquo;May I ask what your name is?&rdquo; Ruby then asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;June.&rdquo; He replied. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Nice to meet you June.&rdquo; Ruby said warmly.<br />\t&ldquo;Do you have any tea here? It goes well with cake.&rdquo; Rubi suggested.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yeah, I do. T-take a ssseat&hellip; If you want to.&rdquo; June said.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;We shall, take your time.&rdquo; Ruby said warmly. <br />\t&ldquo;And thank you for the cake.&rdquo; Rubi said while taking some more. <br /><br />The girls returned to the tables and seats on the other side of the room and placed the plate of red velvet down next to some cookbooks and random paperwork that had been left there. As well as some forks and some cups for everybody.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Help yourself, it&rsquo;s amazingly good quality.&rdquo; Ruby said. <br /><br />As the boys tried out the cake, the girls sat down together and began to look over the paperwork on the desk. <br /><br />The girls gave a knowing look to each other and then nodded. <br /><br />Soon enough June approached the table. He still wore the apron but seemed a little less nervous now. He poured the girls some tea before doing the same for the boys. Sitting down between Ruby and Chip he then poured himself a cup. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t get many visssitors in here&hellip;&rdquo; June quietly muttered. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Not a fan of clubs then?&rdquo; Rubi asked.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Thisss&hellip; Is the Home Economics Club.&rdquo; <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Just yourself?&rdquo; Ruby asked. <br /><br />June nodded and flicked his tongue out before breathing in the vapors of the tea. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;It&rsquo;sss&hellip; Not popular.&rdquo; June explained. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;A shame. Proper home making has a lot of practical skills.&rdquo; Ruby spoke.<br />\t&ldquo;Cooking, cleaning, finances, small repairs, tailoring I believe?&rdquo; Rubi added.<br />\t&ldquo;Everybody could do with having those sorts of skills.&rdquo; Ruby nodded.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yeah, that&rsquo;s why I made this club. I want to be useful.&rdquo; June said sweetly. <br /><br />The girls gave a look to each other and smirked a little.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;We do have a need for a very useful boy on that note.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up.<br />\t&ldquo;Our company needs someone good with finances and the like.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br />\t&ldquo;Would you be interested in joining us?&rdquo; Ruby asked. <br /><br />The girls had thought they had landed him, but June shook his head.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I am not interested in work.&rdquo; He said. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I thought you wanted to be useful?&rdquo; Chip spoke up.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yes, at home. My dream is to find the love of my life and support her eternally as a dedicated household husband. That&#039;s why I am majoring in home-ec and everything&hellip;&rdquo; June said with a dreamy smile and a flick to his long tail. Chip however rolled his eyes.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Work experience could help quite nicely with that.&rdquo; Ruby said. <br />\t&ldquo;It would be a proven way to show your skills in a real world setting.&rdquo; Rubi nodded.<br />\t&ldquo;Organizing dates, cleaning the treehouse&hellip;&rdquo; Ruby added casually.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Like a secretary? Or maybe a maid?&rdquo; June spoke up with excitement. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Yeah, with a few extra tasks on the side.&rdquo; Ruby said with a glance to her sister.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve always wanted to help some pretty girls with their day to day tasks.&rdquo; June said happily before blushing at the realization of what he said. &ldquo;I-I would be delighted to help you two.&rdquo; He nodded.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Excellent, here is our contract.&rdquo; Ruby said as she held out her phone for him.<br />\t&ldquo;We just need your thumbprint to confirm.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br /><br />June shyly held out his hand and Rubi took it. She held it with her own and helped him to put his thumb on the right part of the screen. She looked at him warmly and rubbed her thumb against the scales of his hand gently. Chip smirked as he noticed her actions but did say anything. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;All done.&rdquo; Rubi said as the phone beeped. <br /><br />The two girls let out a sigh of relief at having gotten their team together. They might not have been what they were expecting but they were already enjoying having so many new friends to be around. The group took a moment to talk and hang out before Tommy went to have a peek outside to see if the crowds had left. Finding it clear he signaled to the rest. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Does everybody want to come to our place?&rdquo; Ruby asked as they left the room.<br />\t&ldquo;A celebration of our new found fellowship would be lovely.&rdquo; Rubi added.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;A free party at an actual mansion?&rdquo; Chip spoke up as he started to get ideas. &ldquo; That&rsquo;s sweet. I know a banging pizza place for later too.&rdquo; Chip added with a snap of his fingers. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;I have coupons for special sides.&rdquo; June added quietly.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;Ay nice, a fellow grease lover.&rdquo; Chip replied with a soft shoulder bump.<br /><br />\t&ldquo;I got music.&rdquo; Mascara chimed in from between Chip and June. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;We got arcade machines.&rdquo; Ruby spoke up next.<br />\t&ldquo;And we would love to see you guys try to beat our dad&rsquo;s score.&rdquo; Rubi continued.<br />\t&ldquo;Or our own scores.&rdquo; Ruby added playfully. <br /><br />\t&ldquo;Easy. Some of us only had old retro consoles to play on when we were young.&rdquo; Tommy replied with a spark of confidence that they had not seen in him before. Soon enough the chatter between the friends grew and with it they began to also grow more comfortable with each other. <br /><br />The twins, more than anyone else, were happy. <br />They had not only managed to realize a dream of theirs but they had done it in less than a week. There was still much to do and a long road ahead of them but now they did not have to travel it alone.</span>",
