Several times its beauty had been at stake during resource based conflicts between mankind and the native inhabitants, the Na'vi.
Heroes we now read or watch movies about during leisure time, have helped preserve this remarkable place. They have fought to establish that while visitors are welcome, resource harvesting and exportation are highly limited and any constructions at the surface or low orbit are always in sync with the inhabitants and Eywa herself.
Na'vi and humans turned out to not be alone either however. Numerous other species, some more peace seeking than others, have made contact and Pandora found admirers among them just like among humans previously.
Little surprising, a branch of tourism expanded to Pandora, albeit always with the condition that visitors may not consume any non-renewable resources on the moon.
Hardly a deterrent when there is the prospect to admire the natural beauty of the moon and meet the fascinating culture of the Na'vi.
The still lightly dressed inhabitants have found a similar curiosity in their visitors too!

Kiro here is one of those visitors. Coming from the mostly water covered planet Delphius Λ (Lambda), he was delighted to hear that Pandora has vast oceans of incomparable beauty despite numerous wreckages from the Terran wars.
He researched for a long while, taking in as much information he could find about this moon that was even further away from him than it was of Earth.
Research on interplanetary travels had not stood still in the last century and after Unobtanium-dependent matter-antimatter soon were superseded, a new era of space exploration had emerged even feasible for the average person.
Nevertheless, the fairly young man had saved up some money from every salary ever since he finished studying, to be able to afford this trip.
With transport solved, last obstacle in his way had been to actually survive Pandora!
Despite his aquatic nature, he is still dependent on keeping his lungs dry, breathing air every once in a while. However this aquatic nature and ability to hold his breath comes in handy on Pandora as well.
After all the atmosphere is still deadly for most foreign species, including his. While oxygen is present, so is CO2 at a high concentration as well as up to 1% hydrogen sulfide. The later instantly irritates any sensitive tissue like ones lungs.
There were several mandatory courses on how to deal with this environment. Some even advised, that when in doubt and able to, rather allow yourself to drown, than breathe in the natural atmosphere. It would increase ones chances of rescue.
The instructions were followed by lots of documents he had to sign before being allowed such a trip - mainly to not make anyone liable in case of him taking that one and likely last breath of Pandoran air somehow.
While scary to a degree, that was not deterring the cetacean male. He was trusting his equipment which he needed in deep sections of his home world anyways, as well as his ability to hold his breath if truly necessary.
Still there was one more strong advice given to him: To have a tour guide with him!

Many exploration tours are offered by the native or non-native inhabitants of Pandora. One of the tour guides from the later group is Freggie.
Originally from a now dried-out, amphibious planet, she found a new home on this moon. Homesteading as an alien species on Pandora is not an easy feat. While renewable, natural resources are available upon agreement with the Na'vi, the air is not breathable for her either.
Her physiology does allow her a certain benefit however. It's to absorb small amounts of oxygen safely through her skin. A remainder of her species feral ancestors who used to hibernate completely submerged.
Together with well trained lungs, this gives her a sufficient time without external gear underwater that she can conduct some tours simply on a breathhold with regular breaks in a submarine.
Her stretchy cheeks plus a digital amplifier allow her to speak more or less freely underwater without losing air.
Little surprising since the water is therefore safer for her than dry land, she specialized on the world underwater to do her job of guiding curious visitors.

Kiro did not hesitate long to take on Freggie as his tour guide. Her experience according to her documents were more than pertinent and while communication delay did not allow for any live hole-chat until he would arrive, she seeded no doubts about being the right person.
Only when he arrived, he realized that she had never actually seen the exotic looking frog-like girl in her full attire. It turned out it was typical for her to wear highly skintight clothing that surrounded and accentuated her smooth bodyshape, leaving little to the imagination.
When he dared to ask her on that inside the tight tour-submarine, the shy male had already quickly got a crimson blush on his face.
Freggie just chuckled however and explained that it was better to wear skintight clothing to not get snagged on anything when exploring underwater.
Luckily Kiro's own wetsuit which was made of a glistening black high-strength polymer fulfilled this description as well. He would soon notice however that certain issues could arise from skintight clothing...
While he was well able to trust his lungs, about his-male slit that was housing his prehensile penis, he was not so sure!

The first sight seeing tours in the small submarine had been overwhelmingly beautiful for the cetacean. Freggie had challenged him occasionally to even enter caves that were too tight for his diving gear and it had been worth it!
The thrill of needing to make it back in time to his gear or the submarine was only enhancing the adventure.
His small recording drone was of course creating a digital memory, but there was no way he would ever forget what he was experiencing here.
After they had explored hundreds of fauna and flora (not that the Na'vi liked to strictly separate those, as well as themselves in this regard) and visited the unintended memorials of the war as well gorgeous landscapes, they finally headed to a more inhabited region.
A century ago, Na'vi tended to live in separate tribes, each often having developed biological adaptations to their environment. Na'vi of the forest regions like the famous Omaticaya clan have thin limbs and a slightly bushy tailtip to keep the balance in trees and climb around.
Aquatic members like belonging to the Metkayina have almost flipper-like arms and a very strong, streamlined tail.
Nowadays with communications and transportation having advanced - even if Na'vi are still most often seen traveling on Irkans - the borders have become fuzzy.
The most significant change in the Na'vi culture of the last decades however was them opening up to their natural curiosity again.
Many years under the fear of invasion and the overexploiting resource mining alongside broken trust by the first visitors of their world, had sent many into a defensive mindset.
The blessed newer generations who did not have to live through that burden decided to share their knowledge and lifestyle again, as long as the strict agreements with other worlds were upheld.

Not all of this culture shift was represented accurately in the documentations Kiro had read and watched. After all media tends to focus on hardships a lot. Something that will probably never change...
As a result of that, the new visitor was surprised by how the Na'vi approached not only Freggie but him as well.
Quickly it was clear that the frog girl was by far not the only innocently teasing inhabitant of this moon...
Even before starting the trip, Kiro had to admit that his curiosity had not been solely reduced to classic sightseeing on Pandora. Of course he had downloaded physiological documents about Na'vi anatomy, always having been fascinated by exotic other creatures.
His shy nature had never allowed him to act upon any of this curiosity even on occasions when someone would visit his planet either.
Therefore despite him thinking to be prepared, seeing the Na'vi around him basking in the water in highly revealing, albeit fully traditional clothing had been a bit of a shock. A pleasant one in every case!
At least at first. It became nerve-wracking when it was not only Freggie's sleek haunches kicking often close in front of him, that awoke certain urges in his abdomen.
Na'vi were highly special as the females had a delicate appendage which was used to guide the male's where it belonged.
They were in fact the only known females to have a prehensile sexual bodypart at that.
When not 'in use' that appendage was nested tightly, self-inserted in their crotch. Unlike the penis of a member from Delphius Λ, their bodypart could never be fully hidden inside however. Together with the faint bio-luminescence it had, Kiro had an easy time getting a view or two through the clothing that clearly was of decorative, not of protective nature.

Eventually the inevitable happened: Letting his guards down, his personal thoughts wandered upon what it would be like if he could ask Freggie for some gentle moments alone (she did not seem to mind his closeness inside the submarine at all).. or actually befriend one of the Na'vi!
Before he even realized it, his shaft had already slid out of the tight enclosure his body provided and was now obvious on his abdomen - whether he had his wetsuit on or not made almost no difference!
He was petrified, thinking Freggie would notice any moment and he'd die of embarrassment.
It was a Na'vi however who noticed first. Her name later turned out to be Seyah - an anagram of "syeha", the Na'vi word for "breath".
Apparently she was more than a little curious on the foreign visitors anatomy as well. In a way Kiro was exotic as well after all. Right now he was desperately trying to use what prehensile flexibility his 'member' possessed, to hide it away, but this only made Seyah swim up to him.
Without hesitation she shoved the loincloth she was wearing aside and showed off her 'guidance' appendage which was moving, almost waving in the water above her 'entrance'.
Kiro could not focus on understanding the Na'vi translator that was part of his few augumentation, but what he perceive while trying not to succumb to embarrassment was something along the lines of "look, I can do that too!", followed by giggles which did not require translations.
It was unnecessary to say that Freggie heard that too, but she just rolled her eyes behind Kiro.
"Oh not a frisky one again, we have a schedule..", went through her mind as she crossed her arms. It would be unprofessional to interrupt her customer though, so she would do nothing but peek occasionally on whether he'd need her assistance.
If more than just curious looks would happen, she wondered whether he'd give her a copy of whatever his drone records right now~
