"writing": "- Close Call -\n\n“Almost…almost there…”\nPela was struggling to hold her breath. She swam as fast as she could, the surface growing closer, yet felt so far. Her lungs burned for fresh air and her muscles ached with fatigue, yet she kept kicking and paddling. She had known she was pushing her limit being underwater for so long, but she didn’t think she would be cutting it this close!\n\nHer eyes darted around, wildly looking for a shine of light in this fairly dark environment. There it was - the ice hole she had come in!\nPela labored to swim the last few meters to the opening and surface. Her face had been purple for minutes and was turning blue now and her heart was beating like mad. A few seconds left to go before she could breathe. Just a few more kicks. Though she was tired and everything ached, Pela willed herself to keep pushing, to keep swimming. The top of her head almost touched the ice.\n\nThen suddenly, she broke the water’s surface.\n“GGHAA!”\nThe penguin gasped for fresh air as she breached. Air expanded her chest. Her beak wide open. Some water spluttered from it as she was coughing while she paddled toward the edge of the ice and grabbed hold to keep her upper body above water.\n\nHer true color quickly returned to her face as she took deep breaths to calm herself. “That was…was too close,” she half spoke half coughed. She knew that she had been underwater too long, but when she saw what was so unexpected at the sea floor, she had to explore it. Unfortunately, Pela didn’t even make the dive halfway to her destination before the need for air forced her to surface.\n\nNever would Pela Giavis have thought that she would find such sunken ruins under the very ice she used to live on.\nShe was currently on a bit of a nostalgia trip already. The rockhopper penguin had traveled from her Hawaiian home to the icy waters of the Arctic North where she had grown up, for a freediving vacation.\n\n\n- Trip and drips -\n\nThe plan was simply to spend as much of her days off diving deep under the ice as she could. That blue, glistening, albeit hard surface of ice above her head was something she missed in the tropical regions. After visiting relatives, she spent the rest of this day swimming in the familiar waters.\nThe majority of the time, the penguin leisurely had swum familiar diving spots. However soon she felt she had to challenge herself! The skilled penguin went deeper than ever before, pushing her lungs and muscles to the limit, and thus, finding new areas to discover that she couldn’t when she was younger and less experienced.\n\nFor her, it was like unlocking a new level of a video game; after leveling up she had access to places she couldn’t go before. From ice tunnels and old shipwrecks, there was so much to explore in the old ocean she once called home.\nSo it happened today that Pela had stayed underwater as long as she could and was about to return to the surface when she saw the silhouette of a mostly hidden building by accident on the side of an undersea cliff.\nFrom what she could tell, it was a giant stone building surrounded by the remains of what was once a great city. It resembled what ancient temples on land once looked like. At first, Pela didn’t believe her eyes, but there was no mistaking what she saw was real!\n\nShe had swum these waters many times in her life, how had she not seen it before? It made sense at least if considering that the Arctic waters were changing constantly with the melting and refreezing of the ocean ice. That castle could have been hidden under the ice for hundreds if not thousands of years until enough of the ice had melted around it to be seen. Whatever had happened, it was here and Pela wanted to investigate it!\n\nOn the first try, she hardly managed to. Pela strained to stay underwater a few minutes more to look around. She had a passion for holding her breath for as long as possible and was talented as well as gifted by nature being a penguin, but she had been already past her comfort and even an aquatic bird had to breathe sooner or later. In her case sooner, and thus she had to use her remaining air and time to reach the surface lest she drowned. \n\nHaving caught her breath, Pela pulled herself out of the frigid water and onto the ice.\nOut of the water crawled the rockhopper penguin lady with a slender body covered with sapphire blue feathers save for the inside of her arms and the front of her body being a lighter blue.\nShe wore her usual sky-blue swimsuit that featured an open front revealing much of her breasts and slim belly. Her feathers went down to just below her knee, where her legs became scaled all the way to her webbed feet. Actually flipper-like were her arms that ended with mitten-shaped hands with thumbs.\n\nHer kind, feminine face featured a short beak, two tuffs of feathers atop her head, loosely connected to the eyebrows – as it was typical for rockhoppers - and a pair of large red-brown eyes.\nThe penguin sat on the edge of the ice, leaning back on her flippers with her feet in the water. With the imminent danger of drowning passed, Pela’s attention was turned inward to a different urge: The bursting fullness of her bladder!\n\nInstinctively she looked down at herself. On her streamlined body, the roundish swell in her belly where her bladder was did not go unnoticed. The full urgency of her need to pee hit Pela all at once and she only barely managed to supress the urge to give in to it just a moment longer. Hastily she looked around whether anyone happened to be watching her, but this region was secluded and thus she was alone.\nWith a relieving sigh, she lazily spread her legs to let the miniature river of steaming pee spill from her crotch and across the ice into the ocean. She didn’t care about it seeping through her swimsuit. It had taken this many times and was made for water after all.\nSecretly she enjoyed this feeling of warmth spreading within her crotch as the material was providing some resistance to the flow, thus it pooled within her intimate spots.\n\nSteaming puffs of hot air drifted from her beak as she sighed into the cold atmosphere, the intense relief making her body shudder. Being in the water for long periods, especially cool water, always filled her bladder quick. She usually wouldn’t notice she needed to pee until she got out of the water, which meant desperate dashes for the nearest toilet, or like today, simply letting go by the water.\nHowever, she rather not pee in the very same water she was swimming in if she could help it. \n\nWhile she relieved herself, Pela pondered how she was going to explore the lost castle. She could stay underwater for thirty minutes and because it was so far beyond the edge of the ice, it took nearly half that to reach the castle, leaving her with barely enough time for the return trip let alone time to look around. If her exploration today taught her anything, it was that even if she pushed herself she would not have the time to survey the castle as much as she wanted before having to return, at least not without a plan.\n\nWhatever method she could come up with was going to have to wait until next time. The sun didn’t set for months in the Arctic, but it was still getting late. After swimming for hours, Pela was tired and hungry and she was going to need time to plan and prepare. She rose from the ice and started her long hike across the ice and down the rocky shore back home.\n\n\n- A new dive -\n\nAs she walked away from the ice hole, all she could think about was how tempting the castle looked. It was a new adventure awaiting her and she could barely wait! “I’ll be back,” she promised, “I just need to prepare.”\n\nAfter two days, Pela was as ready as she was going to be. \nShe spent most of that time pondering how she was going to reach the castle. “That has to be about 90 meters deep. Maybe more,” Pela pondered. Not too hard of a dive for a penguin, but reaching the place was one thing. Having enough air in her lungs and time to explore was the main issue.\nAs always, Pela was going to free dive to the castle. She was not one for using air tanks for they were heavy and unwieldy even underwater, and besides, it was more fun relying on herself for power.\nHer own pride was sometimes troublesome but freediving was one source of passion in her life after all.\n\nTherefore instead of mobile tanks, she even thought of buying or renting a mini-sub to at least bring her to the entrance, but scoffed at the idea because that was way outside her budget.\n“I have a few tricks I have been wanting to try,” Pela mentioned to herself as she double-checked the gear she was going to take with her.\n“In the end, all I can do is prepare the best I can and go for it! I can always try again differently if it doesn’t work out.”\n\nPela marched out onto the ice around noon. She gave little care for the frosty air as she walked barefoot from the frozen rocks to the ice. “Hmmm…feels a little warm today,” she commented with puffs of steam coming from her mouth. This time, she took a starting position on the thin section of the ice that she figured put her as close to the castle as possible and yet allow her to break the ice with her ice-pick. This way it should be a dive in a straight, shortest possible line from her position.\nUsing the pick she brought, she cracked a hole in the ice big enough for her to dive in and out of. “Let’s see…” Pela muttered as she looked through her equipment.\n\n“Glow sticks, treasure bag, depth meter, whistle, underwater camera, weight-belt, diving flag…” She took the flag and stuck it into the ice next to her hole and where the left the heavy ice pick. Then, she placed her tools into a small bag that hung comfortably from the weight belt around her waist. Eventually, Pela sat on ice as she placed blue, transparent fins snug on her webbed feet.\nShe wished she had these on last time, for while short, they allowed her to be even a notch more efficient underwater and let her swim faster with ease. Hopefully, they would make a difference in this dive. Last but not least she snapped the weightbelt around her waist which would help her descend easier.\n\nPela made one final mental check to see if all was in order. Then she took a long series of preparational deep breaths. For half a minmute she even made sure to hyperventilate in a controlled fashion. At her skill level that helped her last longer. Finally she slipped head-first into the ice hole.\n\nThe frosty water was clear for miles all around. Save for a few fish, there wasn’t much to distract Pela from her objective. After a solid number of forceful kicks, heading straight, Pela recognized the surroundings. She was on the way to the castle.\nShe had definitely picked a great spot to start from. The swim was going to be easier, but it still was going to take a lot of effort to get down to the castle. She pressed on, the weight belt and strong kicks from her flippers making it easier and faster for her to sink, but still, Pela had to take her time to let her body grow used to the depth. She watched the number rise on her depth meter as she dived. “10 meters…20 meters….30 meters…”\n\nThe deeper she got, the darker the waters grew. She could feel the pressure on her chest at this point but this was a very familiar feeling.\nPela cracked a glow stick and held it in front of her. The sea floor was sloping downwards gradually, so she could just follow it and watch the tons of starfish covering the sea floor, all of them crawling about over rocks, sea urchins, and shellfish. Her eyes were perfectly suited for the water, not needing a mask.\n\nEventually after what felt like an eternity – albeit a fairly relaxed one for her – the ruins of what was the surrounding city came into view. They lay in broken piles of red and blue stone. Pela was no archaeologist, but the architecture of the city looked like a mix of something between ancient Greek and Egyptian. Broken pillars that used to hold the roofs of giant buildings had tumbled and fragmented. Broken and rusted swords, spears, shields, and other ancient weapons were scattered in the “streets”. An additional sign that this area was just uncovered by eyes and did not have a chance to be covered by sediments.\n“Had there been a battle here?” Pela pondered upon seeing those artifacts.\n\nGracefully, the penguin lady swam over the warworn city and settled down at the castle’s grand steps to its entrance. She peeked at her stopwatch. It had taken around thirteen minutes for her to reach the 90-meter-deep sea floor and make it through the ruins. So the fins and better starting spot had helped a bit.\nShe expected it, but the penguin still gulped once briefly nervous at realizing that nearly half her max diving time had passed. However she had come down here with a plan after all!\n\n\n- The Entrance -\n\nEagerly, Pela floated to a nearby chunk of a wall close to the castle entrance. “This is a good spot to set it up,” Pela thought.\nShe fished from her tool bag what looked like a small air tank wrapped in yellow cloth connected to a chain. “This had better be worth the two-week salary.” She tied the device to a rock then pressed a button and turned a knob.\nBubbles exploded from the device as the cloth ballooned and quickly pulled the device up, straightening the chain with a metallic noise.\nThe cloth formed a large, yellow umbrella with flashing beacons on both sides of it. The avian was about to swim under the umbrella when she spotted movement far off near some broken houses. “Hmmm. Just some fish,” she thought staring in that direction for a couple seconds.\nThen she resumed and swam up under the \"umbrella\" to poke her head inside. \n\nHer face was met with fresh air! The device had created a nice air pocket, allowing her to take a deep breath. The inside of the yellow chamber was lit by a dim light at the top of the dome. “What do you know? This portable diving bell works,” Pela said happily her voice echoing on the dome. This would serve as her emergency air supply and give her the air she needed for the return trip to the surface. “So far so good,” Pela said proudly.\n\nAs always however, the moment Pela surfaced, she realized she needed to pee!\nEven without her hips actually being above a water surface, her body sent a reliable signal as if anticipating it. That was when Pela realized something.\nUnsurprisingly this morning had been very exciting for the penguin lady, letting her forget her usual morning routine - like a walk to the toilet! That meant it was easily eleven hours since her last relief the previous evening.\n\nIt didn’t help that the deeper and longer she went underwater, the faster her bladder would fill even more, leading to her urge to grow.\nThoughtfully she placed a flipper on her lower belly where she knew her bladder would budge. There wasn’t much there yet, her need not desperate. Simply her bladder signaling that there was something in there and she should look for a bathroom.\nSurely not possible down here though and so the avian gave a quick sigh, convincincing herself that wasn’t worth her attention and she ignored it.\n\nThe oxygen in the dome was limited however and Pela was wasting it the longer she was staying in there. With her lungs refreshed and the diving bell secured, it was time to explore.\nShe swam toward the entrance when suddenly she spotted movement again. And possibly, a glow? It was far off, but concerning. “It’s nothing but some fish,” Pela told herself. “Jeez, I can’t be losing my nerve with every little thing out here. This isn’t the time to be spooked.”\n\n\n- Exploration -\n\nThe inside of the castle was a glorious and ancient place. Pela barely swam through the gigantic broken double doors and she was already struck with awe! The murals that covered the twenty-foot walls told stories of a history older than anything Pela ever heard about. She didn’t understand the writing on the wall which seemed to be a language she never heard or seen before, but the pictures told of old battles, ancient gods and goddesses whose names were lost to time, and tales of a people long lost. There were skeletons of people of all species scattered everywhere, weapons still held tightly in their decayed hands. “There was definitely a battle here,” Pela thought. “And doesn’t look like the home team won, but still all this stuff is here...”\n\nWhat truly caught Pela’s eye however was the treasure! Treasure everywhere! Gold here, silver there, scattered on tables, chairs, and floors. Coins, gems, jewelry, tools! Even some of the weapons were made of valuable metals and gems!\nAll the penguin had to do was pick it up. It was a good thing she brought a big bag, but she was going to have to make a few return trips from the surface if she wanted to even make a dent in this. She soon came to the realization that was truly the find of the century!\nWhich meant it was unlikely she would be able to legaly sell much, but still right now she was just excited. So much history and treasure in one place. The deeper she went in, the more beautiful the interior got. History untold was everywhere, preserved nearly perfectly for thousands of years in the stasis of the frozen north. Pela was certainly interested in the sights and grabbed the camera. She would take pictures as she looked around, hoping to report her findings, and get historians down here to do their studies later, but, for the moment, the castle was hers to explore.\n\nPela tossed lit glowsticks about as she traveled, lighting the halls and giving her a trail to follow back out. She swam gracefully through the huge hallways looking into room after room, collecting what she could until her treasure bag was full and heavy with trinkets. It almost became troublesome to move, ecertainly burning some of her oxygen. With her airpocket right outside, she did not worry much however.\nWhenever she found something better than what she had collected, Pela had the hard choice of giving up something she had for something better due to the limited space in her bag. “I better save what little space I have left for something really good.” She turned her focus to taking photos of everything. Every time she entered a new room, the first word she thought was “Wow!” Even when it was torn down and in ruins, the castle was impressive beyond words, every part of it screaming a story of its creation and its downfall.\n\n\n- Urges -\n\nThe penguin came to what must have been the kitchen. She unconsciously pressed her flipper to her crotch as she looked into the largest wood stove she had ever seen. Her bladder was acting up again, the need to pee had become a nagging feeling. The full pressure in her lower belly was obvious and her flipper only stiffled it slightly. Still, she ignored it, her irksome bladder was pushed to the back of her mind. She had a castle to examine after all and didn’t have time for a pointless bathroom break.\n\nFurther exploration brought her to a square room with benches against the walls. Every few feet, there was a hole in the bench and the walls were decorated with a mural of a beach with crashing waves.\n“I think I've seen this before in a history book. These are what public restrooms used to look like.” Upon thinking about restrooms, a strong twinge from Pela’s bladder made her press her legs together. She was surprised at how badly she needed to pee already and that without even having left the water.\n\nHer urgency worse than it was a few minutes ago when she was in the kitchen. Then she remembered that she did drink a fair bit this morning before diving and she was in the water for a while. By now despite still trying to push her bladder’s nagging to the back of her mind, it didn’t lessen the urgent pings in her crotch. Thoughtfully, Pela pulled slightly at her swimsuit to make it cut deeper into her crotch.\n\nLooking around at the ancient bathroom, she chuckled at the situation she was in: Surrounded by toilets, and not one of them actually useful to her. “I don’t think I can use these. Out of order due to extreme flooding.” She joked, loosing a few bubbles as she swam out of the restroom.\n\nPela headed down the hallways taking pictures of the murals as she went. Unfortunately that particular urge was not letting her be. She was becoming more aware of how much she needed a restroom, her full bladder becoming awfully distracting. Realizing that she was going to have to deal with it sooner rather than later, Pela opted to relieve herself, but only once she got out of the castle. Looking at all the skeletons littering the halls, it just didn’t feel right peeing in there.\n“It would kinda be like pissing on their grave or something,” Pela thought. However, she was deep inside by now. The pressure in her chest was gradually reminding her as well that she should return eventually. \"I'm here for about twenty minutes, I think..\", she thought.\nEither way, she would would have to endure her irksome bladder as well as her lungs for a while longer.\n\nWhen she was still contemplating to turn around directly and follow her trail of lights, Pela found herself in the largest room yet. With the columns destroyed, the ceiling was caved in, heavy stone having rained down on everything except the center of the room allowing whatever sunlight that reached that deep to shine into the room through small cracks in the ceiling.\nStarfish and sea urchins crawled over everything while luminescent coral and sponges lit up the dark corners. In the center of the room on the top of a cracked dais sat a large chair made of stone. Elaborate designs were carved into the chair along with well-placed gems and metal. Hanging off the chair arm was a shiny tiara riddled with small diamonds and rubies embedded into elaborate winding bands of silver and gold.\n\n“This is definitely the throne room,” Pela guessed. Looking at the throne, Pela smirked at the silly idea she had, then acted on it. She swam right up to the royal seat, scaring away the crab sitting atop it before gracefully sitting down on it herself and placing the tiara from her bag on her head. It was too big for her head, but Pela put it on anyway, letting it hang awkwardly on her feather tuffs.\n\n“All hail the queen!” she giggled in her mind. “Let them eat cake! No taxes for everyone!” Mentally, she jokingly issued orders to the fish who looked genuinely confused by the avians presence. She took pictures of herself with her camera, posing every which way with the tiara on her head. As she sat on the throne, Pela was feeling really good about herself, barely believing how great her day was going! Her plan had been successful. Plenty of time for finding and exploring an ageless castle, finding nearly limitless treasure, and now she was sitting on a real throne playing queen. She ignored a first convulsion of her chest as things were only going to get better when she got back to the surface and told everyone what she found and sold her treasure. “It gets no better than this!” Pela concluded.\n\nMaybe rather less ladylike than the queen she was playing as, the penguin lady found herself firmly crossing her legs regularly, crisscrossing them several times a minute.\nAgain, her bladder signaled its growing fullness to her, her need to pee worse than before. Her belly was starting to bulge under her weight belt, the size of her bladder matching her desperate need to empty it. Despite those unconscious actions she was having so much fun, that she almost forgot about that urge as well as the one for air creeping up on her. She tried to ignore them both still, but the feeling would not go away. Her bathroom desperation worsening the longer she sat there and eventually a bad heave of her chest forced a small cloud of bubbles from her beak. Abruptly turning serious, she covered her beak for a moment to regain control.\n“Okay, okay, I get it. I really need to pee and to breathe.” she admitted to herself. This also reminded her that she had been wandering around for a while, carrying this heavy bag. Heading back to the diving bell and relax whilst replenishing her oxygen sounded like a great idea. \"Guess for once I will pee in the ocean right where I swim. No chance I waste time to reach the ocean surface first.\", she thought while she resumed swimming.\n\nAlmost reluctantly she looked at the hallway she had come from whilst swimming towards it. One of her glowsticks were faintly illuminating in the distance.\nHowever before she could even reach it to begin the journey back, a movement caught her off guard. For a split second she assumed the same meaningless result from earlier. This time however Pela’s heart skipped a beat when the pointed nose of a shark came into the hall! Right next to her exit!\n“HmmpffMgBGL!”\n\n\n- Danger! -\n\nAdrenaline rushed through her body. She suppressed herself from loosing any more bubbles when she quickly swam back, behind the throne as the huge creature entered the room, hoping she hid before it saw her.\n“Of course, there had to be sharks!” Sharks were rare in the Arctic, but it was just Pela’s luck that she would run into one here of all places! And inside no less, was it some sort of guardian, she wondered. After all she knew of the shark species that swam these cold waters, but this was not one she knew!\nThis shark was huge with grayish skin and glowing red eyes. It was essentially monstruous. This had to be what spooked her earlier, she assumed. “An undiscovered castle and a new shark species?! If I wasn’t so scared right now I would say I was lucky.”\nPela peeked behind the throne but the shark was circling, blocking her way out. “Great… Now what?”\nShe had been in dangerous situations around sea creatures before, yet she would lie if she would say she would not be nervous. The fear was in her bones in fact and that was calling up an old instinct: The one to relief herself!\n\nThe girl's eyes widened when she felt a twinge between her legs, immediately followed by a warm feeling. She slammed a wing between her legs, pressing her swimsuit firmly against her crotch but this only caused some of the golden liquid that her gathered at her crotch to seep out.\n\"N..no.. Sharks can sense that!!\"\nAs good as the warmth and first hint of relief felt, she had to stop peeing no matter what. Once started, it was almost unbearable strain to do so however. Bubbles started leaking from her beak as a result of that.\nPela had to cover her beak with one wing whle squeezing her crotch with the other, putting all her willpower into shutting her bladder again. She looked down at her crotch where the tiny, golden cloud she had produced, dispersed. \n\nSeconds passed during which Pela slowly regained control. Her chest now heaved every few moments, but at least she was \"sealed\" in regards of air as well as urine. She would certainly not break any persnal records timewise like this though.\nHer more useful instincts kicked in at least, letting her focus on escaping. Eventually she peeked past the throne again, only to see the shark dangerously close!\n\nQuickly Pela circled around the chair keeping out of sight of the shark. Eventuell her back was to the hallway with her glowstick!\nWhen the moment was right, she turned and swam for the door as fast as she could. The creature barely got a glimpse of her tail feathers as the penguin left the throne room.\n\n“Alright, it’s time to get out of here!” Pela declared with a bit of relief despite her chest feeling quite tense from that shock and approaching oxygen-deprivation.\nSh considered to leave it behind to be faster but for now Pela kept the treasure bag in hand. It would turn out of be useful.\nPela followed her glowsticks back to the castle entrance. Her bladder that had only experienced a notch of relief, throbbed terribly in her belly, demanding she empty it. The birdie considered to just let go; she would leave a gorgeous, yellowish shimemring trail in the water for sure. And it would make swimming on easier. But what if that made it easier for the creature to follow her?\n\nPela decided to keep clenching her sphincter even if it sometimes slowed Pela down a bit having to squeeze her legs together. She kept up msot of her pace. More and more noticeable however was her chest that ached, meaning she was truly running out of air. \n\nPela brought nothing with her to fight a shark with, and even if she did, she would be no match for such a huge one. At least she had left it behind.. so she thought.\nWhen she rounded a corner, she nearly swam headfirst into it coming from another hallway! \"Does it know its way here?!!\"\n\nThis time even more bubbles left Pela's mouth before she stopped herself from screaming. The shark launched at her. Pela swam back but couldn't get out of the way in time. In a panic, she swung the heavy treasure bag on the beast’s nose. That was enough to make it think twice for the moment and back off, dazed. Its red eyes were flaring at her however.\n\nPela could barely believe that this had worked but took the chance to hide in a small room next to her. The shark pushed against the door frame made of stone but it was too small!\nPela found herself in a dead end however. It was that same bathroom she had been in earlier.\n\nSettling on the floor, she stood with her back against the wall and let her bag drop next to her feet. Pela placed a flipper on her chest, her heart beating wildly in a panic. “Easy girl,” she told herself. “Gotta stay calm.” Screaming and panicking didn’t leave Pela with much oxygen left. Her best hope was to get to the diving bell outside. Nothing to it except for goodness knows what type of shark there was between her and her destination! \n\nPela knew sharks had weak spots. Their eyes, gills and to a degree the snouts. Most important of all, they were - hopefully - less smarter than her.\nA spark of confidence struck within her. All she had to do was keep a clear head, stay calm, and swim on. Get out of the castle, get to the diving bell, and then swim to the surface. Easy plan if didn’t run into any more sharks. She would be fine.\n\n“Eemp!” \nOnce again her other flipper shot to her crotch, grasping her loins between crossed her legs. Her bladder took the moment to remind her how badly she needed to pee. The desperate wave hit her hard, making her cross her legs so tight she was nearly twisting them together.\n“Bladder, this is so not the time!” she pleaded to the bursting organ. She was straining so hard to hold her pee that she realized she shut her eyes. Opening them, she looked down at the bulge in her abdomen. There was no denying the round protrusion sitting low and heavy under her weight belt was bigger than before. Even bigger than it had been yesterday.\n\nThe smart thing would be to simply let go into the surrounding water, but Pela figured that was a bad idea at the moment. “Sharks could smell a drop of blood in gallons of water. Pee would be no different, right? What if that makes it only more agressive?” she questioned. She didn’t want to test that at the moment.\n“Questions for Google later,” She declared.\n\nEventually her aching bladder calmed a bit as Pela held out against its desperate throbs, but the relief would not last. Her body was still pumping urine into her stuffed bladder. Looking around at the toilets, she was again struck by the irony of needing to pee and the only toilets around she couldn’t use. This time she wasn’t chuckling. \n\nPela undid her belt and let it drop around her feet along with the rest of her tools that were attached to it as well as the bag of treassure. She knew this location wll now, so could retrieve this all later for she was definitely coming back soon.\nHer bladder didn’t feel so compressed with the belt gone, but it still pounded dreadfully in her gut, a pulsing ache that threatened that it was about to burst, but Pela would \"wet\" herself long before that happened; both results she wanted to avoid!\n\nShe should be able to swim faster with the belt and other weight gone for she would need all the speed she could get. Her time was short for her chest was starting to feel truly tight from the lack of oxygen. It was burning and her diaphragm felt like it would cramp.\nThoughtfully and consciously she covered her beak with a wing and then exhaled and reinhaled from her bak a few times. This was a trick she had learned early on. It let her lungs experience the moements of very small breaths at least. It was not much and of course caused no actual relief like a fresh breath, but it was allowing her muscles to relax a bit. \n\n\n- Gotta escape -\n\nEventually she peeked at the doorframe where the shark seems to have given up. Pela kicked off from the floor and swam out of the room. The shark was nowhere to be seen. She could not relish in that relief though. Twentyfive minutes since the airpocket, she was definitely on a strict timer now!\n\nShe followed her glow sticks down the halls, her head swiveling on the lookout for more sharks. There was nothing so far, but she stayed alert. Considering using one of the old weapons scattered about, Pela tried to pick up something small and bladed, but to her surprise, the weapons were far too heavy for her at least underwater. What kind of people lived here that could fight with weapons so heavy, she questioned.\nShe could indeed swim faster with her belt gone, but it was difficult to move her legs without aggravating her bladder. Holding her pee was taking much of her focus and energy now. The little relief removing her belt gave was quickly lost. Pela swore she could feel her bladder sloshing in her abdomen when she kicked, its fullness making her belly feel heavy. The urge to urinate tingled in her loins, threatening to leak in a moment of weakness.\n\nSeeing a different kind of light - sunlight - ahead, Pela knew that salvation was at hand. She had only the huge entrance room left to swim through, and then it was out those double doors! “Almost there…” She told her aching bladder. “Stay calm. Swim on! Almost there….”\n\nOf course, it wouldn’t be that easy. Upon entering the room, THREE of the huge shark creatures turned out to be swimming near the door! Two small ones twice her size and the third being the largest shark she had ever seen.\nFear gripping her, Pela swam to the floor and hid behind the only standing pillar in the room. She stood flat against the column, braving to peek out from behind it. The sharks were circling the entrance, clearly aware that a meal was nearby or at least came by there. \n\n“Now what?!” Pela pondered. Mere meters away was her way out. Once every few seconds, Pela would peek around the column to check if the coast was clear, but every time she did one of the sharks would swim past her field of vision, closing in ever nearer to her hiding spot.\nPela nervously rubbed the spherical rock-hard bulge that was her bladder. One flipper on her belly, the other holding her crotch. It was getting harder to hold still, her legs crisscrossing as her body trembled with the effort of keeping her pee contained as well as her air in her shaking lungs.\n\nHer waning energy was split between holding her breath and holding her pee. She desperately looked around for another way out, thinking hard of any possible detour, but she knew there wasn’t one. Her face started to turn the familiar purple she always had near the end of a freedive. Her oxygen was running low, no doubt about that. “I need to breathe…” Her body compelled her to take a breather but there was nothing to breathe, except water.\n\nShe could feel the last of her oxygen running out and she would need every drop of it to even swim through the hall. With no other ideas, she opted to make a mad dash to the diving bell outside. She had no choise.\nShe was carefully watching the shark in hope for an opening when they’d be at the edge of the hall. However, the window of opportunity was not coming.\n\nAll the while, her flippers were pressing harder into her crotch as her need to pee grew extreme. With the fear ontop of just the pressure, her bladder feeling like it was about to rupture at any second! Her bladder walls were stretched thin barely containing the liquid as wave after wave crashed against her weakening sphincter.\nNo matter how hard she squeezed her tender crotch, her desperation would not let up. Her legs crossed over the other, her inner muscles clenched so tight they hurt, but the growing mini-ocean inside her abdomen was too much. It was quite the feat to have held that long, but holding a second more was impossible.\n\n“N..nghh!”\nShe managed to keep her beak closed as she gasped, but little bubbles still escaped her maw. Her eyes widened in panic as she felt liquid warmth seep from her bladder again. She quickly placed both flippers on her crotch but it was pointless. Despite the struggles to stiffle the flow, she knew she already leaked more than enough for the sharks to notice!\n\nPela tried to peek around the corner again but suddenly sprung another leak. This time, more than enough to taint the water with yellow. She hunched over as she pressed into her groin, but that only put more pressure on her bladder making her leak harder. “No, no no no!” The penguin pleaded with her bladder to hold out, but there was no stopping it. Her cheeks puffed with stale air from the strain.\n\nNo matter how hard she squeezed and clenched, her body had already given up the fight, her hold slipping fast until she was peeing uncontrollably through her suit. The water around her became stained with yellow as urine poured out of her relentlessly. \nThen, Pela felt a presence. She didn’t even have to look around the column to tell that a shark was sniffing around it.\n\n\n- One golden dash - \n\nThere was no escape! It was the largest of the sharks that she caught the attention of. The other two followed behind the bigger one in hopes of taking a piece out of whatever the bigger shark found. It slowly came around the column expecting to trap its prey on the other side. Catching a glimpse of something moving, the shark went for an attack.\nIn a fraction of a second, its eyes rolled back as it opened its mouth wide, then plunged forward. Its movement was wild and unbalanced as it struck the pillar with full force. Opening its glowing eyes, the shark saw that it caught nothing but a mouth full of pee-soaked swimsuit! No tasty penguin, just her urine as Pela spread her legs wide, now actively clenching her bladder to make a forceful stream. \"Take THIS!\"\n\nIn her final act of despair, Pela was surrounding the sharks in her cloud of twelve hours worth of yellow pee. Much to their confusal.. but surely not defeat.\nPela was almost about to just be happy that she got this final relief that was clouding her own mind now. However then she heard another dangerous sound - not fromt he sharks but of cracking rock!\n\nWith a great rumble, the time-worn pillar that the creature had struck, fell apart! Parts of the castle were coming down as well.\nA final shot of adrenaline hit the penguin lady and she dashed away, leaving the still confused sharks behind. They may be somewhat used to squids squirting black ink... But something yellow and that from an avian? That was new!\n\nSuch a golden trail was still following her as she had no way to control it when Pela fluttered her legs to dash for the exit as fast as she could.\nBehind her, the castle was coming down upon the sharks! The moment she was outside, the castles entrance hall collapsed behind her entirely. The shockwave thrusting her forward. That was NOT part of the plan, but it got her out safe and sound.\n\nHer abdomen was still pulsing with spurts of urine, but all she could think about now was getting a breath of fresh air from her diving bell!\n\"Only a few more seconds...\", she thought, nervously reaching to her neck as her lungs really wanted to make her inhale. Only her throat was preventing that.\n\nHowever when she went for the diving bell’s location, her heart sunk at the sight of torn fibers and the innards of the airpocket scatter around. One of the lights still functional was lying next to the air cannister.\n“The sharks tore it apart!” Pela concluded as her hope for a simple, fresh breath was crushed. At this point, her bladder finally gave out. A last wave of relief washed over her at least in that regard. She could not enjoy it though as that urge was only replaced by the one for air. Her lungs were on fire by now, making her chest spasm wildly, including her firm breasts.\n\nBefore she could think of much, she suddenly heard and felt a great rumble from behind her. She looked back only once to see the castle continuing to cave in on itself before vanishing into a plume of sand and rock. There was no time to mourn the loss of her discovery however. She needed air and to get to the surface!\n\nThirteen minutes it took to get down there, likely fifteen or more to get back! Ascending was always slower than descending with a weightbelt. It was impossible to make this with the useless air in her lungs. \"The cannister is my only hope!\"\nShe quickly picked it up. The button that automatically deployed the airpocket would be useless. However it also had a valve, likely for filling or maintenance. \"Please, please!\", the shaky avian pleaded while she rotated the valve.\n\nA stream of bubbles burst from the opening. Pela's eyes widened and her heart beat with hope but at the same time her diaphragm tried to make her breathe only worse. Some water slipped down her throat, making her choke.\nThe airtank obviously had no mouthpiece, let alone one suited for a beak. It just had a source of air that would likely only last seconds.\nWith the remainder of her willpower, Pela brought her beak above the opening. There was no chance to seal but her choking at least included some fresh air!\n\n\"N..NGhm.. MWGRgblbl..!\"\nSome water did enter her lungs - luckily not Pela's first time drowning - but so did the air. Her chest didn't stop burning madly but it gave her enough clarity to allow her to fll her lungs mostly with air. Just when she barely begun to feel some relief from this, the bubbling began to slow down. \"N..no..\"\nThe tank was empty!\n\nPela did not wait for the bubbling to stop entirely. The rest was useless. Instead she closed her beak and pointed towards the hole in the ice far above where some light was shining through. She couldn't tell how much time she had left with that little air and some water inside her chest, but she had to give it her all!\nForcefully she started kicking.\n\nIt took time until the water grew clearer and brighter as she went up. She exhaled slightly as she ascended, bubbles leaving her beak were rising slower than she was. Her face was still darkened with purple and blue. Her muscles ached and her chest was on fire, but she pushed through the pain. “I can make this!” She knew. “I can make this! Just got to keep pushing. Stay calm. Swim on.”\n\nThe ascent was excruciating. Pela could not think about anything but swimming for the whole way. She couldn't even tell how long it took. Eventually she was closing in on the surface. Her vision was blurry at that point but she could see something red. The diving flag that she had left!\nIt was only a few more meters. Pela gathered the last of her energy and put into one final push toward her goal. \n\n“Thump!”\nHer head collided with a ceiling of ice. The sudden impact made her release all the leftover air in her lungs. She started to panic, fearing that she was stuck, but she had only missed her ice hole by a meter or so. Frantically, she moved along the ice until she reached the hole.\n\n\"GGAAHHH!”\nShe breached with a loud gasp. Immediately she went into a coughing fenzy, spluttering the water out that she had inhaled down there. She clutched her chest, exhaling dfeeply to make sure it was all out even if her body stilld emanded her to rather inhale. She had the presence of mind to grab hold of the ice’s edge and hold herself above the water. Color returned only slowly to her face but her mind calmed gradually as she caught her breath. \n\nWith the danger out of the way, she was able to assess what happened. The castle was lost and so were those sharks. Everything she had brought with her was gone, even her camera. There was no way she was getting her treasure bag back without some heavy machinery and manpower. The collapse of the castle was so strong that it may blown away much of the surrounding ruins too Pela guessed. She could go back better prepared, but she knew there wasn’t much reason to keep her hopes up.\n\nSo much for her treasure. So much for the greatest historical find in the Arctic…\nPela sighed as she lowered her head in fatigue and despair. Then suddenly she felt something fall from her head and the sound of metal hitting the ice. She looked down and saw the tiara she found in the throne room sparkling at her in the sunlight. “I…never took that off, did I?” Pela picked it up and looked it over.\nIt was in perfect condition, looking even better in the dry sunlight than underwater. “That thing stayed on my head the whole time?!” She pulled herself completely out of the water, still panting heavily and sat on the ice looking her tiara over.\n“So, it wasn’t a complete loss,” Pela said with a smile, “but I don’t think I can ever sell this little beauty. Well, that’s how adventures go, I suppose…” \n\nThe chill of the wind reminded her that she was nude save for a priceless tiara. Suddenly, Pela was pressing her legs together, a familiar urge tingling in her crotch.\n“Really? How can I need to pee again?” she groaned then chuckled at her predicament. “Again I need to pee and there’s not one toilet around I can use.” Her bladder was nowhere near as full as before but Pela was not in mood to fight anymore. Her weakened muscles couldn’t hold much for long for sure.\nThus Pela was past caring at this point and just relaxed her bladder, letting a weak stream flow from her loins and into the ocean like two days before.\n\nIt wasn’t as much as earlier in the depth, but it still felt good relieving her bladder again. “I should really drink less before my swims. Though... thid did save me down there after all!” she figured and smirked lightly.\n\nEventually Pela got up from the ice and looked out over the horizon. It had been quite a day. “I better get home before someone sees me. Heh, it's going to be hard to explain why I don’t have a swimsuit on to everyone at home.”",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>- Close Call -<br /><br />&ldquo;Almost&hellip;almost there&hellip;&rdquo;<br />Pela was struggling to hold her breath. She swam as fast as she could, the surface growing closer, yet felt so far. Her lungs burned for fresh air and her muscles ached with fatigue, yet she kept kicking and paddling. She had known she was pushing her limit being underwater for so long, but she didn&rsquo;t think she would be cutting it this close!<br /><br />Her eyes darted around, wildly looking for a shine of light in this fairly dark environment. There it was - the ice hole she had come in!<br />Pela labored to swim the last few meters to the opening and surface. Her face had been purple for minutes and was turning blue now and her heart was beating like mad. A few seconds left to go before she could breathe. Just a few more kicks. Though she was tired and everything ached, Pela willed herself to keep pushing, to keep swimming. The top of her head almost touched the ice.<br /><br />Then suddenly, she broke the water&rsquo;s surface.<br />&ldquo;GGHAA!&rdquo;<br />The penguin gasped for fresh air as she breached. Air expanded her chest. Her beak wide open. Some water spluttered from it as she was coughing while she paddled toward the edge of the ice and grabbed hold to keep her upper body above water.<br /><br />Her true color quickly returned to her face as she took deep breaths to calm herself. &ldquo; That was&hellip;was too close,&rdquo; she half spoke half coughed. She knew that she had been underwater too long, but when she saw what was so unexpected at the sea floor, she had to explore it. Unfortunately, Pela didn&rsquo;t even make the dive halfway to her destination before the need for air forced her to surface.<br /><br />Never would Pela Giavis have thought that she would find such sunken ruins under the very ice she used to live on.<br />She was currently on a bit of a nostalgia trip already. The rockhopper penguin had traveled from her Hawaiian home to the icy waters of the Arctic North where she had grown up, for a freediving vacation.<br /><br /><br />- Trip and drips -<br /><br />The plan was simply to spend as much of her days off diving deep under the ice as she could. That blue, glistening, albeit hard surface of ice above her head was something she missed in the tropical regions. After visiting relatives, she spent the rest of this day swimming in the familiar waters.<br />The majority of the time, the penguin leisurely had swum familiar diving spots. However soon she felt she had to challenge herself! The skilled penguin went deeper than ever before, pushing her lungs and muscles to the limit, and thus, finding new areas to discover that she couldn&rsquo;t when she was younger and less experienced.<br /><br />For her, it was like unlocking a new level of a video game; after leveling up she had access to places she couldn&rsquo;t go before. From ice tunnels and old shipwrecks, there was so much to explore in the old ocean she once called home.<br />So it happened today that Pela had stayed underwater as long as she could and was about to return to the surface when she saw the silhouette of a mostly hidden building by accident on the side of an undersea cliff.<br />From what she could tell, it was a giant stone building surrounded by the remains of what was once a great city. It resembled what ancient temples on land once looked like. At first, Pela didn&rsquo;t believe her eyes, but there was no mistaking what she saw was real!<br /><br />She had swum these waters many times in her life, how had she not seen it before? It made sense at least if considering that the Arctic waters were changing constantly with the melting and refreezing of the ocean ice. That castle could have been hidden under the ice for hundreds if not thousands of years until enough of the ice had melted around it to be seen. Whatever had happened, it was here and Pela wanted to investigate it!<br /><br />On the first try, she hardly managed to. <br /><br />Having caught her breath, Pela pulled herself out of the frigid water and onto the ice.<br />Out of the water crawled the rockhopper penguin lady with a slender body covered with sapphire blue feathers save for the inside of her arms and the front of her body being a lighter blue.<br />She wore her usual sky-blue swimsuit that featured an open front revealing much of her breasts and slim belly. Her feathers went down to just below her knee, where her legs became scaled all the way to her webbed feet. Actually flipper-like were her arms that ended with mitten-shaped hands with thumbs.<br /><br />Her kind, feminine face featured a short beak, two tuffs of feathers atop her head, loosely connected to the eyebrows &ndash; as it was typical for rockhoppers - and a pair of large red-brown eyes.<br />The penguin sat on the edge of the ice, leaning back on her flippers with her feet in the water. With the imminent danger of drowning passed, Pela&rsquo;s attention was turned inward to a different urge: The bursting fullness of her bladder!<br /><br />Instinctively she looked down at herself. On her streamlined body, the roundish swell in her belly where her bladder was did not go unnoticed. The full urgency of her need to pee hit Pela all at once and she only barely managed to supress the urge to give in to it just a moment longer. Hastily she looked around whether anyone happened to be watching her, but this region was secluded and thus she was alone.<br />With a relieving sigh, she lazily spread her legs to let the miniature river of steaming pee spill from her crotch and across the ice into the ocean. She didn&rsquo;t care about it seeping through her swimsuit. It had taken this many times and was made for water after all.<br />Secretly she enjoyed this feeling of warmth spreading within her crotch as the material was providing some resistance to the flow, thus it pooled within her intimate spots.<br /><br />Steaming puffs of hot air drifted from her beak as she sighed into the cold atmosphere, the intense relief making her body shudder. Being in the water for long periods, especially cool water, always filled her bladder quick. She usually wouldn&rsquo;t notice she needed to pee until she got out of the water, which meant desperate dashes for the nearest toilet, or like today, simply letting go by the water.<br />However, she rather not pee in the very same water she was swimming in if she could help it. <br /><br />While she relieved herself, Pela pondered how she was going to explore the lost castle. She could stay underwater for thirty minutes and because it was so far beyond the edge of the ice, it took nearly half that to reach the castle, leaving her with barely enough time for the return trip let alone time to look around. If her exploration today taught her anything, it was that even if she pushed herself she would not have the time to survey the castle as much as she wanted before having to return, at least not without a plan.<br /><br />Whatever method she could come up with was going to have to wait until next time. The sun didn&rsquo;t set for months in the Arctic, but it was still getting late. After swimming for hours, Pela was tired and hungry and she was going to need time to plan and prepare. She rose from the ice and started her long hike across the ice and down the rocky shore back home.<br /><br /><br />- A new dive -<br /><br />As she walked away from the ice hole, all she could think about was how tempting the castle looked. It was a new adventure awaiting her and she could barely wait! &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll be back,&rdquo; she promised, &ldquo;I just need to prepare.&rdquo;<br /><br />After two days, Pela was as ready as she was going to be. <br />She spent most of that time pondering how she was going to reach the castle. &ldquo; That has to be about 90 meters deep. Maybe more,&rdquo; Pela pondered. Not too hard of a dive for a penguin, but reaching the place was one thing. Having enough air in her lungs and time to explore was the main issue.<br />As always, Pela was going to free dive to the castle. She was not one for using air tanks for they were heavy and unwieldy even underwater, and besides, it was more fun relying on herself for power.<br />Her own pride was sometimes troublesome but freediving was one source of passion in her life after all.<br /><br />Therefore instead of mobile tanks, she even thought of buying or renting a mini-sub to at least bring her to the entrance, but scoffed at the idea because that was way outside her budget.<br />&ldquo;I have a few tricks I have been wanting to try,&rdquo; Pela mentioned to herself as she double-checked the gear she was going to take with her.<br />&ldquo;In the end, all I can do is prepare the best I can and go for it! I can always try again differently if it doesn&rsquo;t work out.&rdquo;<br /><br />Pela marched out onto the ice around noon. She gave little care for the frosty air as she walked barefoot from the frozen rocks to the ice. &ldquo;Hmmm&hellip;feels a little warm today,&rdquo; she commented with puffs of steam coming from her mouth. This time, she took a starting position on the thin section of the ice that she figured put her as close to the castle as possible and yet allow her to break the ice with her ice-pick. This way it should be a dive in a straight, shortest possible line from her position.<br />Using the pick she brought, she cracked a hole in the ice big enough for her to dive in and out of. &ldquo;Let&rsquo;s see&hellip;&rdquo; Pela muttered as she looked through her equipment.<br /><br />&ldquo;Glow sticks, treasure bag, depth meter, whistle, underwater camera, weight-belt, diving flag&hellip;&rdquo; She took the flag and stuck it into the ice next to her hole and where the left the heavy ice pick. Then, she placed her tools into a small bag that hung comfortably from the weight belt around her waist. Eventually, Pela sat on ice as she placed blue, transparent fins snug on her webbed feet.<br />She wished she had these on last time, for while short, they allowed her to be even a notch more efficient underwater and let her swim faster with ease. Hopefully, they would make a difference in this dive. Last but not least she snapped the weightbelt around her waist which would help her descend easier.<br /><br />Pela made one final mental check to see if all was in order. Then she took a long series of preparational deep breaths. For half a minmute she even made sure to hyperventilate in a controlled fashion. At her skill level that helped her last longer. Finally she slipped head-first into the ice hole.<br /><br />The frosty water was clear for miles all around. Save for a few fish, there wasn&rsquo;t much to distract Pela from her objective. After a solid number of forceful kicks, heading straight, Pela recognized the surroundings. She was on the way to the castle.<br />She had definitely picked a great spot to start from. &ldquo;10 meters&hellip;20 meters&hellip;.30 meters&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />The deeper she got, the darker the waters grew. She could feel the pressure on her chest at this point but this was a very familiar feeling.<br />Pela cracked a glow stick and held it in front of her. The sea floor was sloping downwards gradually, so she could just follow it and watch the tons of starfish covering the sea floor, all of them crawling about over rocks, sea urchins, and shellfish. Her eyes were perfectly suited for the water, not needing a mask.<br /><br />Eventually after what felt like an eternity &ndash; albeit a fairly relaxed one for her &ndash; the ruins of what was the surrounding city came into view. They lay in broken piles of red and blue stone. Pela was no archaeologist, but the architecture of the city looked like a mix of something between ancient Greek and Egyptian. Broken pillars that used to hold the roofs of giant buildings had tumbled and fragmented. Broken and rusted swords, spears, shields, and other ancient weapons were scattered in the &ldquo;streets&rdquo;. An additional sign that this area was just uncovered by eyes and did not have a chance to be covered by sediments.<br />&ldquo;Had there been a battle here?&rdquo; Pela pondered upon seeing those artifacts.<br /><br />Gracefully, the penguin lady swam over the warworn city and settled down at the castle&rsquo;s grand steps to its entrance. She peeked at her stopwatch. It had taken around thirteen minutes for her to reach the 90-meter-deep sea floor and make it through the ruins. So the fins and better starting spot had helped a bit.<br />She expected it, but the penguin still gulped once briefly nervous at realizing that nearly half her max diving time had passed. However she had come down here with a plan after all!<br /><br /><br />- The Entrance -<br /><br />Eagerly, Pela floated to a nearby chunk of a wall close to the castle entrance. &ldquo; This is a good spot to set it up,&rdquo; Pela thought.<br />She fished from her tool bag what looked like a small air tank wrapped in yellow cloth connected to a chain. &ldquo; This had better be worth the two-week salary.&rdquo; She tied the device to a rock then pressed a button and turned a knob.<br />Bubbles exploded from the device as the cloth ballooned and quickly pulled the device up, straightening the chain with a metallic noise.<br />The cloth formed a large, yellow umbrella with flashing beacons on both sides of it. The avian was about to swim under the umbrella when she spotted movement far off near some broken houses. &ldquo;Hmmm. Just some fish,&rdquo; she thought staring in that direction for a couple seconds.<br />Then she resumed and swam up under the &quot;umbrella&quot; to poke her head inside. <br /><br />Her face was met with fresh air! The device had created a nice air pocket, allowing her to take a deep breath. The inside of the yellow chamber was lit by a dim light at the top of the dome. &ldquo; What do you know? This portable diving bell works,&rdquo; Pela said happily her voice echoing on the dome. This would serve as her emergency air supply and give her the air she needed for the return trip to the surface. &ldquo; So far so good,&rdquo; Pela said proudly.<br /><br />As always however, the moment Pela surfaced, she realized she needed to pee!<br />Even without her hips actually being above a water surface, her body sent a reliable signal as if anticipating it. That was when Pela realized something.<br />Unsurprisingly this morning had been very exciting for the penguin lady, letting her forget her usual morning routine - like a walk to the toilet! That meant it was easily eleven hours since her last relief the previous evening.<br /><br />It didn&rsquo;t help that the deeper and longer she went underwater, the faster her bladder would fill even more, leading to her urge to grow.<br />Thoughtfully she placed a flipper on her lower belly where she knew her bladder would budge. There wasn&rsquo;t much there yet, her need not desperate. Simply her bladder signaling that there was something in there and she should look for a bathroom.<br />Surely not possible down here though and so the avian gave a quick sigh, convincincing herself that wasn&rsquo;t worth her attention and she ignored it.<br /><br />The oxygen in the dome was limited however and Pela was wasting it the longer she was staying in there. With her lungs refreshed and the diving bell secured, it was time to explore.<br />She swam toward the entrance when suddenly she spotted movement again. And possibly, a glow? It was far off, but concerning. &ldquo; It&rsquo;s nothing but some fish,&rdquo; Pela told herself. &ldquo;Jeez, I can&rsquo;t be losing my nerve with every little thing out here. This isn&rsquo;t the time to be spooked.&rdquo;<br /><br /><br />- Exploration -<br /><br />The inside of the castle was a glorious and ancient place. Pela barely swam through the gigantic broken double doors and she was already struck with awe! The murals that covered the twenty-foot walls told stories of a history older than anything Pela ever heard about. She didn&rsquo;t understand the writing on the wall which seemed to be a language she never heard or seen before, but the pictures told of old battles, ancient gods and goddesses whose names were lost to time, and tales of a people long lost. There were skeletons of people of all species scattered everywhere, weapons still held tightly in their decayed hands. &ldquo; There was definitely a battle here,&rdquo; Pela thought. &ldquo; And doesn&rsquo;t look like the home team won, but still all this stuff is here...&rdquo;<br /><br />What truly caught Pela&rsquo;s eye however was the treasure! Treasure everywhere! Gold here, silver there, scattered on tables, chairs, and floors. Coins, gems, jewelry, tools! Even some of the weapons were made of valuable metals and gems!<br />All the penguin had to do was pick it up. It was a good thing she brought a big bag, but she was going to have to make a few return trips from the surface if she wanted to even make a dent in this. She soon came to the realization that was truly the find of the century!<br />Which meant it was unlikely she would be able to legaly sell much, but still right now she was just excited. So much history and treasure in one place. The deeper she went in, the more beautiful the interior got. History untold was everywhere, preserved nearly perfectly for thousands of years in the stasis of the frozen north. Pela was certainly interested in the sights and grabbed the camera. She would take pictures as she looked around, hoping to report her findings, and get historians down here to do their studies later, but, for the moment, the castle was hers to explore.<br /><br />Pela tossed lit glowsticks about as she traveled, lighting the halls and giving her a trail to follow back out. She swam gracefully through the huge hallways looking into room after room, collecting what she could until her treasure bag was full and heavy with trinkets. It almost became troublesome to move, ecertainly burning some of her oxygen. With her airpocket right outside, she did not worry much however.<br />Whenever she found something better than what she had collected, Pela had the hard choice of giving up something she had for something better due to the limited space in her bag. &ldquo;I better save what little space I have left for something really good.&rdquo; She turned her focus to taking photos of everything. Every time she entered a new room, the first word she thought was &ldquo;Wow!&rdquo; Even when it was torn down and in ruins, the castle was impressive beyond words, every part of it screaming a story of its creation and its downfall.<br /><br /><br />- Urges -<br /><br />The penguin came to what must have been the kitchen. She had a castle to examine after all and didn&rsquo;t have time for a pointless bathroom break.<br /><br />Further exploration brought her to a square room with benches against the walls. Every few feet, there was a hole in the bench and the walls were decorated with a mural of a beach with crashing waves.<br />&ldquo;I think I&#039;ve seen this before in a history book. These are what public restrooms used to look like.&rdquo; Upon thinking about restrooms, a strong twinge from Pela&rsquo;s bladder made her press her legs together. She was surprised at how badly she needed to pee already and that without even having left the water.<br /><br />Her urgency worse than it was a few minutes ago when she was in the kitchen. Then she remembered that she did drink a fair bit this morning before diving and she was in the water for a while. By now despite still trying to push her bladder&rsquo;s nagging to the back of her mind, it didn&rsquo;t lessen the urgent pings in her crotch. Thoughtfully, Pela pulled slightly at her swimsuit to make it cut deeper into her crotch.<br /><br />Looking around at the ancient bathroom, she chuckled at the situation she was in: Surrounded by toilets, and not one of them actually useful to her. &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t think I can use these. Out of order due to extreme flooding.&rdquo; She joked, loosing a few bubbles as she swam out of the restroom.<br /><br />Pela headed down the hallways taking pictures of the murals as she went. Unfortunately that particular urge was not letting her be. She was becoming more aware of how much she needed a restroom, her full bladder becoming awfully distracting. Realizing that she was going to have to deal with it sooner rather than later, Pela opted to relieve herself, but only once she got out of the castle. Looking at all the skeletons littering the halls, it just didn&rsquo;t feel right peeing in there.<br />&ldquo;It would kinda be like pissing on their grave or something,&rdquo; Pela thought. However, she was deep inside by now. The pressure in her chest was gradually reminding her as well that she should return eventually. &quot;I&#039;m here for about twenty minutes, I think..&quot;, she thought.<br />Either way, she would would have to endure her irksome bladder as well as her lungs for a while longer.<br /><br />When she was still contemplating to turn around directly and follow her trail of lights, Pela found herself in the largest room yet. With the columns destroyed, the ceiling was caved in, heavy stone having rained down on everything except the center of the room allowing whatever sunlight that reached that deep to shine into the room through small cracks in the ceiling.<br />Starfish and sea urchins crawled over everything while luminescent coral and sponges lit up the dark corners. In the center of the room on the top of a cracked dais sat a large chair made of stone. Elaborate designs were carved into the chair along with well-placed gems and metal. Hanging off the chair arm was a shiny tiara riddled with small diamonds and rubies embedded into elaborate winding bands of silver and gold.<br /><br />&ldquo;This is definitely the throne room,&rdquo; Pela guessed. Looking at the throne, Pela smirked at the silly idea she had, then acted on it. She swam right up to the royal seat, scaring away the crab sitting atop it before gracefully sitting down on it herself and placing the tiara from her bag on her head. It was too big for her head, but Pela put it on anyway, letting it hang awkwardly on her feather tuffs.<br /><br />&ldquo;All hail the queen!&rdquo; she giggled in her mind. &ldquo;Let them eat cake! No taxes for everyone!&rdquo; Mentally, she jokingly issued orders to the fish who looked genuinely confused by the avians presence. &ldquo; It gets no better than this!&rdquo; Pela concluded.<br /><br />Maybe rather less ladylike than the queen she was playing as, the penguin lady found herself firmly crossing her legs regularly, crisscrossing them several times a minute.<br />Again, her bladder signaled its growing fullness to her, her need to pee worse than before. Abruptly turning serious, she covered her beak for a moment to regain control.<br />&ldquo;Okay, okay, I get it. I really need to pee and to breathe.&rdquo; she admitted to herself. This also reminded her that she had been wandering around for a while, carrying this heavy bag. Heading back to the diving bell and relax whilst replenishing her oxygen sounded like a great idea. &quot;Guess for once I will pee in the ocean right where I swim. No chance I waste time to reach the ocean surface first.&quot;, she thought while she resumed swimming.<br /><br />Almost reluctantly she looked at the hallway she had come from whilst swimming towards it. One of her glowsticks were faintly illuminating in the distance.<br />However before she could even reach it to begin the journey back, a movement caught her off guard. For a split second she assumed the same meaningless result from earlier. This time however Pela&rsquo;s heart skipped a beat when the pointed nose of a shark came into the hall! Right next to her exit!<br />&ldquo;HmmpffMgBGL!&rdquo;<br /><br /><br />- Danger! -<br /><br />Adrenaline rushed through her body. She suppressed herself from loosing any more bubbles when she quickly swam back, behind the throne as the huge creature entered the room, hoping she hid before it saw her.<br />&ldquo;Of course, there had to be sharks!&rdquo; Sharks were rare in the Arctic, but it was just Pela&rsquo;s luck that she would run into one here of all places! And inside no less, was it some sort of guardian, she wondered. After all she knew of the shark species that swam these cold waters, but this was not one she knew!<br />This shark was huge with grayish skin and glowing red eyes. It was essentially monstruous. This had to be what spooked her earlier, she assumed. &ldquo; An undiscovered castle and a new shark species?! If I wasn&rsquo;t so scared right now I would say I was lucky.&rdquo;<br />Pela peeked behind the throne but the shark was circling, blocking her way out. &ldquo;Great&hellip; Now what?&rdquo;<br />She had been in dangerous situations around sea creatures before, yet she would lie if she would say she would not be nervous. The fear was in her bones in fact and that was calling up an old instinct: The one to relief herself!<br /><br />The girl&#039;s eyes widened when she felt a twinge between her legs, immediately followed by a warm feeling. She slammed a wing between her legs, pressing her swimsuit firmly against her crotch but this only caused some of the golden liquid that her gathered at her crotch to seep out.<br />&quot;N..no.. Sharks can sense that!!&quot;<br />As good as the warmth and first hint of relief felt, she had to stop peeing no matter what. Once started, it was almost unbearable strain to do so however. Bubbles started leaking from her beak as a result of that.<br />Pela had to cover her beak with one wing whle squeezing her crotch with the other, putting all her willpower into shutting her bladder again. She looked down at her crotch where the tiny, golden cloud she had produced, dispersed. <br /><br />Seconds passed during which Pela slowly regained control. Her chest now heaved every few moments, but at least she was &quot;sealed&quot; in regards of air as well as urine. She would certainly not break any persnal records timewise like this though.<br />Her more useful instincts kicked in at least, letting her focus on escaping. Eventually she peeked past the throne again, only to see the shark dangerously close!<br /><br />Quickly Pela circled around the chair keeping out of sight of the shark. Eventuell her back was to the hallway with her glowstick!<br />When the moment was right, she turned and swam for the door as fast as she could. The creature barely got a glimpse of her tail feathers as the penguin left the throne room.<br /><br />&ldquo;Alright, it&rsquo;s time to get out of here!&rdquo; Pela declared with a bit of relief despite her chest feeling quite tense from that shock and approaching oxygen-deprivation.<br />Sh considered to leave it behind to be faster but for now Pela kept the treasure bag in hand. It would turn out of be useful.<br />Pela followed her glowsticks back to the castle entrance. Her bladder that had only experienced a notch of relief, throbbed terribly in her belly, demanding she empty it. The birdie considered to just let go; she would leave a gorgeous, yellowish shimemring trail in the water for sure. And it would make swimming on easier. But what if that made it easier for the creature to follow her?<br /><br />Pela decided to keep clenching her sphincter even if it sometimes slowed Pela down a bit having to squeeze her legs together. She kept up msot of her pace. More and more noticeable however was her chest that ached, meaning she was truly running out of air. <br /><br />Pela brought nothing with her to fight a shark with, and even if she did, she would be no match for such a huge one. At least she had left it behind.. so she thought.<br />When she rounded a corner, she nearly swam headfirst into it coming from another hallway! &quot;Does it know its way here?!!&quot;<br /><br />This time even more bubbles left Pela&#039;s mouth before she stopped herself from screaming. The shark launched at her. Pela swam back but couldn&#039;t get out of the way in time. In a panic, she swung the heavy treasure bag on the beast&rsquo;s nose. That was enough to make it think twice for the moment and back off, dazed. Its red eyes were flaring at her however.<br /><br />Pela could barely believe that this had worked but took the chance to hide in a small room next to her. The shark pushed against the door frame made of stone but it was too small!<br />Pela found herself in a dead end however. It was that same bathroom she had been in earlier.<br /><br />Settling on the floor, she stood with her back against the wall and let her bag drop next to her feet. Pela placed a flipper on her chest, her heart beating wildly in a panic. &ldquo;Easy girl,&rdquo; she told herself. &ldquo;Gotta stay calm.&rdquo; Screaming and panicking didn&rsquo;t leave Pela with much oxygen left. Her best hope was to get to the diving bell outside. Nothing to it except for goodness knows what type of shark there was between her and her destination! <br /><br />Pela knew sharks had weak spots. Their eyes, gills and to a degree the snouts. Most important of all, they were - hopefully - less smarter than her.<br />A spark of confidence struck within her. All she had to do was keep a clear head, stay calm, and swim on. Get out of the castle, get to the diving bell, and then swim to the surface. Easy plan if didn&rsquo;t run into any more sharks. She would be fine.<br /><br />&ldquo;Eemp!&rdquo; <br />Once again her other flipper shot to her crotch, grasping her loins between crossed her legs. Her bladder took the moment to remind her how badly she needed to pee. The desperate wave hit her hard, making her cross her legs so tight she was nearly twisting them together.<br />&ldquo;Bladder, this is so not the time!&rdquo; she pleaded to the bursting organ. She was straining so hard to hold her pee that she realized she shut her eyes. Opening them, she looked down at the bulge in her abdomen. There was no denying the round protrusion sitting low and heavy under her weight belt was bigger than before. Even bigger than it had been yesterday.<br /><br />The smart thing would be to simply let go into the surrounding water, but Pela figured that was a bad idea at the moment. &ldquo;Sharks could smell a drop of blood in gallons of water. Pee would be no different, right? What if that makes it only more agressive?&rdquo; she questioned. She didn&rsquo;t want to test that at the moment.<br />&ldquo;Questions for Google later,&rdquo; She declared.<br /><br />Eventually her aching bladder calmed a bit as Pela held out against its desperate throbs, but the relief would not last. Her body was still pumping urine into her stuffed bladder. Looking around at the toilets, she was again struck by the irony of needing to pee and the only toilets around she couldn&rsquo;t use. This time she wasn&rsquo;t chuckling. <br /><br />Pela undid her belt and let it drop around her feet along with the rest of her tools that were attached to it as well as the bag of treassure. She knew this location wll now, so could retrieve this all later for she was definitely coming back soon.<br />Her bladder didn&rsquo;t feel so compressed with the belt gone, but it still pounded dreadfully in her gut, a pulsing ache that threatened that it was about to burst, but Pela would &quot;wet&quot; herself long before that happened; both results she wanted to avoid!<br /><br />She should be able to swim faster with the belt and other weight gone for she would need all the speed she could get. Her time was short for her chest was starting to feel truly tight from the lack of oxygen. It was burning and her diaphragm felt like it would cramp.<br />Thoughtfully and consciously she covered her beak with a wing and then exhaled and reinhaled from her bak a few times. This was a trick she had learned early on. It let her lungs experience the moements of very small breaths at least. It was not much and of course caused no actual relief like a fresh breath, but it was allowing her muscles to relax a bit. <br /><br /><br />- Gotta escape -<br /><br />Eventually she peeked at the doorframe where the shark seems to have given up. Pela kicked off from the floor and swam out of the room. The shark was nowhere to be seen. She could not relish in that relief though. Twentyfive minutes since the airpocket, she was definitely on a strict timer now!<br /><br />She followed her glow sticks down the halls, her head swiveling on the lookout for more sharks. There was nothing so far, but she stayed alert. Considering using one of the old weapons scattered about, Pela tried to pick up something small and bladed, but to her surprise, the weapons were far too heavy for her at least underwater. What kind of people lived here that could fight with weapons so heavy, she questioned.<br />She could indeed swim faster with her belt gone, but it was difficult to move her legs without aggravating her bladder. Holding her pee was taking much of her focus and energy now. The little relief removing her belt gave was quickly lost. Pela swore she could feel her bladder sloshing in her abdomen when she kicked, its fullness making her belly feel heavy. The urge to urinate tingled in her loins, threatening to leak in a moment of weakness.<br /><br />Seeing a different kind of light - sunlight - ahead, Pela knew that salvation was at hand. She had only the huge entrance room left to swim through, and then it was out those double doors! &ldquo;Almost there&hellip;&rdquo; She told her aching bladder. &ldquo;Stay calm. Swim on! Almost there&hellip;.&rdquo;<br /><br />Of course, it wouldn&rsquo;t be that easy. Upon entering the room, THREE of the huge shark creatures turned out to be swimming near&nbsp;&nbsp;the door! Two small ones twice her size and the third being the largest shark she had ever seen.<br />Fear gripping her, Pela swam to the floor and hid behind the only standing pillar in the room. She stood flat against the column, braving to peek out from behind it. The sharks were circling the entrance, clearly aware that a meal was nearby or at least came by there. <br /><br />&ldquo;Now what?!&rdquo; Pela pondered. Mere meters away was her way out. Once every few seconds, Pela would peek around the column to check if the coast was clear, but every time she did one of the sharks would swim past her field of vision, closing in ever nearer to her hiding spot.<br />Pela nervously rubbed the spherical rock-hard bulge that was her bladder. One flipper on her belly, the other holding her crotch. It was getting harder to hold still, her legs crisscrossing as her body trembled with the effort of keeping her pee contained as well as her air in her shaking lungs.<br /><br />Her waning energy was split between holding her breath and holding her pee. She desperately looked around for another way out, thinking hard of any possible detour, but she knew there wasn&rsquo;t one. Her face started to turn the familiar purple she always had near the end of a freedive. Her oxygen was running low, no doubt about that. &ldquo;I need to breathe&hellip;&rdquo; Her body compelled her to take a breather but there was nothing to breathe, except water.<br /><br />She could feel the last of her oxygen running out and she would need every drop of it to even swim through the hall. With no other ideas, she opted to make a mad dash to the diving bell outside. She had no choise.<br />She was carefully watching the shark in hope for an opening when they&rsquo;d be at the edge of the hall. However, the window of opportunity was not coming.<br /><br />All the while, her flippers were pressing harder into her crotch as her need to pee grew extreme. With the fear ontop of just the pressure, her bladder feeling like it was about to rupture at any second! Her bladder walls were stretched thin barely containing the liquid as wave after wave crashed against her weakening sphincter.<br />No matter how hard she squeezed her tender crotch, her desperation would not let up. Her legs crossed over the other, her inner muscles clenched so tight they hurt, but the growing mini-ocean inside her abdomen was too much. It was quite the feat to have held that long, but holding a second more was impossible.<br /><br />&ldquo;N..nghh!&rdquo;<br />She managed to keep her beak closed as she gasped, but little bubbles still escaped her maw. Her eyes widened in panic as she felt liquid warmth seep from her bladder again. She quickly placed both flippers on her crotch but it was pointless. Despite the struggles to stiffle the flow, she knew she already leaked more than enough for the sharks to notice!<br /><br />Pela tried to peek around the corner again but suddenly sprung another leak. This time, more than enough to taint the water with yellow. She hunched over as she pressed into her groin, but that only put more pressure on her bladder making her leak harder. &ldquo; No, no no no!&rdquo; The penguin pleaded with her bladder to hold out, but there was no stopping it. Her cheeks puffed with stale air from the strain.<br /><br />No matter how hard she squeezed and clenched, her body had already given up the fight, her hold slipping fast until she was peeing uncontrollably through her suit. The water around her became stained with yellow as urine poured out of her relentlessly. <br />Then, Pela felt a presence. She didn&rsquo;t even have to look around the column to tell that a shark was sniffing around it.<br /><br /><br />- One golden dash - <br /><br />There was no escape! It was the largest of the sharks that she caught the attention of. The other two followed behind the bigger one in hopes of taking a piece out of whatever the bigger shark found. It slowly came around the column expecting to trap its prey on the other side. Catching a glimpse of something moving, the shark went for an attack.<br />In a fraction of a second, its eyes rolled back as it opened its mouth wide, then plunged forward. &quot;Take THIS!&quot;<br /><br />In her final act of despair, Pela was surrounding the sharks in her cloud of twelve hours worth of yellow pee. Much to their confusal.. but surely not defeat.<br />Pela was almost about to just be happy that she got this final relief that was clouding her own mind now. However then she heard another dangerous sound - not fromt he sharks but of cracking rock!<br /><br />With a great rumble, the time-worn pillar that the creature had struck, fell apart! Parts of the castle were coming down as well.<br />A final shot of adrenaline hit the penguin lady and she dashed away, leaving the still confused sharks behind. They may be somewhat used to squids squirting black ink... But something yellow and that from an avian? That was new!<br /><br />Such a golden trail was still following her as she had no way to control it when Pela fluttered her legs to dash for the exit as fast as she could.<br />Behind her, the castle was coming down upon the sharks! The moment she was outside, the castles entrance hall collapsed behind her entirely. The shockwave thrusting her forward. That was NOT part of the plan, but it got her out safe and sound.<br /><br />Her abdomen was still pulsing with spurts of urine, but all she could think about now was getting a breath of fresh air from her diving bell!<br />&quot;Only a few more seconds...&quot;, she thought, nervously reaching to her neck as her lungs really wanted to make her inhale. Only her throat was preventing that.<br /><br />However when she went for the diving bell&rsquo;s location, her heart sunk at the sight of torn fibers and the innards of the airpocket scatter around. One of the lights still functional was lying next to the air cannister.<br />&ldquo;The sharks tore it apart!&rdquo; Pela concluded as her hope for a simple, fresh breath was crushed. At this point, her bladder finally gave out. A last wave of relief washed over her at least in that regard. She could not enjoy it though as that urge was only replaced by the one for air. Her lungs were on fire by now, making her chest spasm wildly, including her firm breasts.<br /><br />Before she could think of much, she suddenly heard and felt a great rumble from behind her. She looked back only once to see the castle continuing to cave in on itself before vanishing into a plume of sand and rock. There was no time to mourn the loss of her discovery however. She needed air and to get to the surface!<br /><br />Thirteen minutes it took to get down there, likely fifteen or more to get back! Ascending was always slower than descending with a weightbelt. It was impossible to make this with the useless air in her lungs. &quot; The cannister is my only hope!&quot;<br />She quickly picked it up. The button that automatically deployed the airpocket would be useless. However it also had a valve, likely for filling or maintenance. &quot; Please, please!&quot;, the shaky avian pleaded while she rotated the valve.<br /><br />A stream of bubbles burst from the opening. Pela&#039;s eyes widened and her heart beat with hope but at the same time her diaphragm tried to make her breathe only worse. Some water slipped down her throat, making her choke.<br />The airtank obviously had no mouthpiece, let alone one suited for a beak. It just had a source of air that would likely only last seconds.<br />With the remainder of her willpower, Pela brought her beak above the opening. There was no chance to seal but her choking at least included some fresh air!<br /><br />&quot;N..NGhm.. MWGRgblbl..!&quot;<br />Some water did enter her lungs - luckily not Pela&#039;s first time drowning - but so did the air. Her chest didn&#039;t stop burning madly but it gave her enough clarity to allow her to fll her lungs mostly with air. Just when she barely begun to feel some relief from this, the bubbling began to slow down. &quot;N..no..&quot;<br />The tank was empty!<br /><br />Pela did not wait for the bubbling to stop entirely. The rest was useless. Instead she closed her beak and pointed towards the hole in the ice far above where some light was shining through. She couldn&#039;t tell how much time she had left with that little air and some water inside her chest, but she had to give it her all!<br />Forcefully she started kicking.<br /><br />It took time until the water grew clearer and brighter as she went up. She exhaled slightly as she ascended, bubbles leaving her beak were rising slower than she was. Her face was still darkened with purple and blue. Her muscles ached and her chest was on fire, but she pushed through the pain. &ldquo;I can make this!&rdquo; She knew. &ldquo;I can make this! Just got to keep pushing. Stay calm. Swim on.&rdquo;<br /><br />The ascent was excruciating. Pela could not think about anything but swimming for the whole way. She couldn&#039;t even tell how long it took. Eventually she was closing in on the surface. Her vision was blurry at that point but she could see something red. The diving flag that she had left!<br />It was only a few more meters. Pela gathered the last of her energy and put into one final push toward her goal. <br /><br />&ldquo;Thump!&rdquo;<br />Her head collided with a ceiling of ice. The sudden impact made her release all the leftover air in her lungs. She started to panic, fearing that she was stuck, but she had only missed her ice hole by a meter or so. Frantically, she moved along the ice until she reached the hole.<br /><br />&quot;GGAAHHH!&rdquo;<br />She breached with a loud gasp. Immediately she went into a coughing fenzy, spluttering the water out that she had inhaled down there. She clutched her chest, exhaling dfeeply to make sure it was all out even if her body stilld emanded her to rather inhale. She had the presence of mind to grab hold of the ice&rsquo;s edge and hold herself above the water. Color returned only slowly to her face but her mind calmed gradually as she caught her breath. <br /><br />With the danger out of the way, she was able to assess what happened. The castle was lost and so were those sharks. Everything she had brought with her was gone, even her camera. There was no way she was getting her treasure bag back without some heavy machinery and manpower. The collapse of the castle was so strong that it may blown away much of the surrounding ruins too Pela guessed. She could go back better prepared, but she knew there wasn&rsquo;t much reason to keep her hopes up.<br /><br />So much for her treasure. So much for the greatest historical find in the Arctic&hellip;<br />Pela sighed as she lowered her head in fatigue and despair. Then suddenly she felt something fall from her head and the sound of metal hitting the ice. She looked down and saw the tiara she found in the throne room sparkling at her in the sunlight. &ldquo;I&hellip;never took that off, did I?&rdquo; Pela picked it up and looked it over.<br />It was in perfect condition, looking even better in the dry sunlight than underwater. &ldquo; That thing stayed on my head the whole time?!&rdquo; She pulled herself completely out of the water, still panting heavily and sat on the ice looking her tiara over.<br />&ldquo;So, it wasn&rsquo;t a complete loss,&rdquo; Pela said with a smile, &ldquo;but I don&rsquo;t think I can ever sell this little beauty. Well, that&rsquo;s how adventures go, I suppose&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />The chill of the wind reminded her that she was nude save for a priceless tiara. Suddenly, Pela was pressing her legs together, a familiar urge tingling in her crotch.<br />&ldquo;Really? How can I need to pee again?&rdquo; she groaned then chuckled at her predicament. &ldquo;Again I need to pee and there&rsquo;s not one toilet around I can use.&rdquo; Her bladder was nowhere near as full as before but Pela was not in mood to fight anymore. Her weakened muscles couldn&rsquo;t hold much for long for sure.<br />Thus Pela was past caring at this point and just relaxed her bladder, letting a weak stream flow from her loins and into the ocean like two days before.<br /><br />It wasn&rsquo;t as much as earlier in the depth, but it still felt good relieving her bladder again. &ldquo;I should really drink less before my swims. Though... thid did save me down there after all!&rdquo; she figured and smirked lightly.<br /><br />Eventually Pela got up from the ice and looked out over the horizon. It had been quite a day. &ldquo;I better get home before someone sees me. Heh, it&#039;s going to be hard to explain why I don&rsquo;t have a swimsuit on to everyone at home.&rdquo;</span>",
