protagonist of my game, Solaris. Now I’m pleased to introduce Umbra, the main antagonist! :3\n\nI would prefer to keep details about him a bit scarcer than Sol, as I would prefer to avoid any major spoilers. But as one can most likely glean from just the art alone, Umbra is a practitioner of magic, specifically dark magic. In fact, Umbra is the descendant of an evil wolf emperor who, 400 years ago, tried to subjugate all the prey species of the world and create an eternal night, the time during which, at least in my game, predators’ senses and skills are at their highest. The emperor was thwarted, of course, thanks to Sol’s great ancestor, but it seems like the battle never truly ended. Indeed, now, thanks to a highly advanced device invented by him and his people known as the P.R.E.D (Predatory Re-Effusion Device, or something therearound), Umbra may actually succeed in creating an eternal night after all. Not a literal eternal night... but one simulated, and just as palpable, to the minds of everyone using powerful radiowaves. With that, the prey, truly, would not stand a chance...\n\nIt’s an unsettling predicament for Sol, for he knew and was good friends with Umbra as a kid, along with Sol’s adopted deer brother, Dusk. He never could have imagined Umbra would want to do something so terrible. What could have caused Umbra to have such a rapid change in behavior?\n\nMuch of Umbra’s past, before he met Sol and Dusk, is not disclosed.
