Silver, levitating a fist-sized stone outside - "So, in order to truly focus, one must first swallow their pride."
Valdis, muttering and staring absentmindedly at Silver's body - "Mmm... I sure would."
Silver, cocking an eyebrow - "Ahem. Eyes up here, please."
Valdis, blushing and rubbing his elbow - "Huh? Oh! Sorry. I was just... sorry, hehe. Swallow your pride. Right."
Silver, turning to face the fox slowly turning the stone end over end - "Hmm. You seem a bit... distracted when we've trained lately. They say where the eyes wander, the mind soon follows."
Valdis, rubbing his neck - "I'm just not fully awake yet, hehe. I'm listening."
Silver, smirking as he hovers the stone above his palm - "I hope so, our time is valuable. So what did I say before?"
Valdis, sheepishly biting his lip - "Um... something about being a tuna?"
Silver, snickering and poking the fox's chest - "Being attuned. And right now you're anything but. I don't mind you... looking me over. Honestly, I don't. I'm really quite flattered. But right now we are here to learn. And to learn, one must focus. So just take a deep breath, and set your distractions aside."
Valdis, nodding and breathing deeply - "I understand. And I'll pay better attention from now on. I want this! It's just... well, I--I really like being with you. Er--training with you." [nervous chuckle]
Silver, smiling and patting his pupil's shoulder - "You have enormous potential, Valdis. It's mostly why I took you on for training. As for the other part.... [shrugs and smiles, blushing] I really like you, too. Hmm... perhaps I can turn your distraction into an advantage."
Valdis, tilting head - "An advantage?"
Silver, levitating a second rock from the ground - "Tell you what: pay close attention to today's lessons, train extra hard, and then perhaps later you and I can have some private time. Just the two of us. How's that sound?"
Valdis, dumbstruck, watching the stones orbit one another - "You... you mean that?"
Silver, grinning as the floating stones clack together softly - "Of course. Unless you're not interested..."
Valdis - "W-what? No, no, I am, I am! Yes! I'd love to! I won't disappoint you, I promise!"
Silver, nodding serenely as the rocks drift higher - "Good! Well then, now that we've got you properly motivated, let's see just how much you can levitate this week..."
Valdis, nodding intently and licking his lips as he watches the stones and readies his hands - "I've been practicing, just like you showed me. I can do those rocks, no problem!"
Silver, suddenly rocketing the stones into space while levitating a big, dirty boulder right into his pupil's open arms, teetering the fox backwards into the shrubbery - "What's the matter, fox? Can't take the size? Hehe, surely you can get it up! Come on, focus! Yes. Yes!"
