"description": "As part of writing the comic's story, there's a TON of background information that, while useful to me, is likely to never appear in the story because there's no reason for it. One of these details are the 8 other gladiatorial teams in addition to Teams Scratch and Kickback. I created some very basic data for them (as it was fun at the time), but never got into details. \n\nKnowing that Toughset enjoys character design with lots of artistic freedom, I offered him a chance to do the design-work and he graciously accepted.\n\n[b]Team Name: THE WITCHES OF ID[/b]\nCreator/Owner: Psyche Management Services (psychological care, brain enhancements), subsidiary of Goth-Tech\n\n[i]Specializing in psychological management and brain enhancement, Psyche Management Services designed the Witches of Id to showcase the powers of the mind. Through the use of implanted alien tissue, psychic surgery and chemical treatments, each one possesses powerful psychic abilities and superior intelligence. While not physically strong or tough, their psychic powers make them formidable opponents in the arena. The decision to make the team all female was made by the company's CEO, who felt powerful women were under-represented in the games.
