  "description": "As part of writing the comic's story, there's a TON of background information that, while useful to me, is likely to never appear in the story because there's no reason for it. One of these details are the 8 other gladiatorial teams in addition to Teams Scratch and Kickback. I created some very basic data for them (as it was fun at the time), but never got into details. \n\nKnowing that Toughset enjoys character design with lots of artistic freedom, I offered him a chance to do the design-work and he graciously accepted.\n\n[b]Team: GREEN MACHINE[/b]\nCreator/Owner: Algernon Agricultural (genetically engineered food/plants), a subsidiary of Dynamic Developments\n\n[i]Algernon Agricultural is a company specializing in genetically engineered agricultural products, plants and food production. The gladiators of Green Machine incorporate a variety of plant and fungal DNA in their genetics. Infused with highly efficient artificial chloroplasts, Green Machine is far stronger when exposed to light of any kind. Because their abilities are tied to this, Green Machine wears almost no clothing whatsoever. Built around the concept of physical power and regeneration, Green Machine has few specialized abilities, but are exceedingly difficult to kill and possess incredible stamina and durability.
