"description": "As part of writing the comic's story, there's a TON of background information that, while useful to me, is likely to never appear in the story because there's no reason for it. One of these details are the 8 other gladiatorial teams in addition to Teams Scratch and Kickback. I created some very basic data for them (as it was fun at the time), but never got into details. \n\nKnowing that Toughset enjoys character design with lots of artistic freedom, I offered him a chance to do the design-work and he graciously accepted.\n\n[b]Team: THE DOGS OF WAR[/b]\nCreator/Owner: Wellington Industries (military arms and armor), subsidiary of Dynamic Developments\n\n[i]Wellington Industries is one of the premier arms and armor dealers on Bodor, and the Dogs of War were made to showcase that expertise. While each member on the team is a bioroid, none of them have the kind of powers you normally see in the games. Instead, each is armed with a variety of weapons and powered armor, designed to be used by normal infantry. In fact, most of bioroids' abilities are downplayed to make them as invisible as possible (so that it looks like its the equipment that does the heavy lifting). Going with the theme of the team's name, the Dogs of War all all designed using canine DNA from the planet Jamthundi. Like all biological warriors created under the Dynamic Developments umbrella, these warriors are referred to as bioroids.[/i]\n\n(presented from left to right)\n\n[b]Team Striker: Boodika[/b]\nABILITIES/GEAR\n-CyberScythe Disks: carries five self-propelled flying disks (1 on each hip and shoulder and 1 on her back).
