Still took quite long, what with me having to do things and help people, but you may notice this is your basic, mediocre chord progression. I watched a video that was about 'The most used chord progression' or something along those lines and figured I'd tag along on that bandwagon and try to make a song using it. A simple song. A nice song. A bop. I quite like how this turned out.\n\nAdditionally, I remember hearing somewhere that the most popular rhythm in pop music was the 1--a--& 3--a--& rhythm and variations of it, so I used that fittingly as well. This song, essentially, was intended to be a test to see what I can do technically when I don't have to worry about which chords I think would sound good in progression and, well, with rhythmic groundwork, I couldn't really go wrong, I just had to use that rhythm fittingly.\n\nThis was also a way for me to test various techniques. The trance gate synth, in the beginning, is properly side-chained to the kick drum using compression sidechaining. Fruity Convolver is an OP reverb plugin effect that I've yet to master, so this was a learning experience. I'm trying to get a hang of using more sound effects as I've noticed many songs use random and numerous sound effects in the songs adequately and as for me, I just never even consider using them. The extent of sfx I've used are reversed cymbals/snares/kicks as risers, and things that sounded like cymbals -- airy-sounding noise, pretty much -- reversed to make an acceptable riser.
