Trainer X had deposited his newest catches, a Charmander and Bulbasaur into the Pokemon camp. They were new captures and had to spend some time together if they wanted to be in a winning team. X first deposited the Charmander after healing it but forgot to heal the Bulbasaur before letting it roam the camp. The Charmander greeted every other monster there. He was confident he was the best starter of regions from yestermillenium. Later, the Bulbasaur, slightly battle worn was let inside. Both wondered around unaware of each other's presence. Inside the dome, they wondered around away from each other until they noticed each other. As they first met, they stood still to confirm their identities. "It's a Charmander", Bulbasaur thought to himself. "It'a a Bulbasaur.", Charmander thought to himself. Both were self-confident monsters. Bulbauar was more self confident since his species was the first in the Kanto dex, or entire national dex until 1997. Bulbasaur stepped towards the Charmander and said, "Hey, you new here." Charmander replied, "Not as new as you leafy boy." Bulbasaur growled, "It's like that is it. Just because you can beat me in a fight doesn't make you more popular." "Oh, but I am popular.", Charmander replied. Bulbasaur scoffed and said, "You're popular in Misty's gym from her perspective. She'd wipe you out." Charmender grunted and said, "Nu-uh, anyone with a brain would raise a Pikahcu before then. Get your facts straight." Charmander said, "But I can learn steel claw, give me a break." Bulbasaur said, "But you're just not their type. I could wipe out Brock's and Misty's team twice." Charmander was annoyed, about to lose the argument when he said, "My evolutions are stronger. I can fly and breathe fire. Your mid#stage evolution can't stand on its own 4 legs. Plus Venusaur looks like the 90's equivelant of a Torterra." Charmander said, "That's it, I want you out. I'll win in a fight using what you're strong against." Bulbasaur said, "How, you're scarred of water, and I am super-effective against the type." Charmander said, "I've been here longer than you. I could tie you with vines and branches from that tree." "Nah, I'd vine whip your ass. It won't defeat you but I won't have to touch you with my claws or mouth." Charmander walked away and followed through. He took some rope-like vinery from the tree in the middle and snapped 2 branches just longer than the width of this Bulbasaur's body. He dropped them to the ground then slid down the trunk of the tree. "I'd show him not to mess with me or water. He just thinks he's strong." The Charmander approached the 'saur and huffed a ball of fire above its bulb. It didn't instantly defeat the surprised grass-type but it was in a critical state. "Now you're weak, I'll make you feel the effects of an unlikely alliance." He moaned, almost unconscious, "No, don't." "Too late, get ready for our trainer to find and revive you." The 'mander bit some lengths of vine in half then tied them to the helpless Bulbasaur's back legs, then the branch. "Now you're not so self-secure. But I'm not done yet." The Charmander then tied the vines from the Bulbasaur's front legs to the other branch. "Now look who's dominant. Right now, me.", the Charmander sarcastically said. The weak Bulbasaur whined. "Now, let's see how long you last on 1HP.", the Charmander said. He dragged the bound Bulbasaur by the branches that secured its limbs to the river. He lay it parallel to the deep flowing water and said, "See you in the Pokemon centre." and pushed the helpless 'saur in. As he fell in, he tried to breathe in. He had never held his breath like this before, let alone in a deadly peril. The mixture of dinosaur, vine and branch sank as it floated, then drifted from the river to the lake. The cold water ineffectively blasted against the body of the doomed Bulbasaur but pushed it deeped into the lake. He tried to break free but was too weak, his claws unable to scratch the vines or branches, and his lungs straining, trying to hold in his air. As he tried to keep the air in his cheeks, the pressure built up and a few big bubbles of air bursted out of his blue mouth. BUL—BLUB The air escaped his mouth in bubbles and burst at the waters surface. He involuntarily gulped some water which was unfortunately redirected into his lungs. The lack of oxygen was weakening his already low consciousness. The pressure built in his skull as his face turned red. BUL-BLUB He gulped in even more water, displaying even more air in his lungs. He tried to close his mouth but dropped his consciousness. His open mouth sunk downards as he had no strength to maintain his muscles. The Charmander watched, waiting for the Bulbasaur to lose its breath and consciousness. He said, "Now, someone gonna see you're fainted and summon you to the Pokemon centre."
