On an old wooden bridge in West Kanto, Japan was a giant blue and cream bear, over 5 feet tall and weighing over 400 kilograms. Of course, route 12. He lazily resisted Red's attacks before being defeated. There was nothing special about this Snorlax. Maybe the next one would be different? The defeated Snorlax fled for the mountains, freeing the bridge. As Red fought other traininers and wild monsters successfully, this Snorlax was making its way up North to the Kasumigaura bay. Over the next week, he snuck through the various forests, staying as far away as possible from other humans. It was a long journey to the Kasumigaura bay. In the night he had to quickly and carefully sneak through urban areas because he didn't want to be attacked by more Pokemon directed by 10 year-olds. A lot of walking, relaxing and eating of bushes, berries and vines were done to keep him going. The forest was usually dense, difficult to get through as quickly as he liked but was self sustaining. The bay was surrounded by many parks and the occasional business. Neither park nor business would care about a single wild bear like him. At the edge of a park he walked over to the edge of the bay to swim off battle he lost. The Snorlax stood by the cold water condifent he could swim safely in the shallow water. His thick fur and cylinders of pure fat and muscle would protect him from the cold temperature and make it possible for him to swim at any temperature. Unfortunately, the Snorlax's sense of location was incorrect. He stepped one paw in, then another, then pushed himself in with enough force to propel him away from the closest edge. As his giant paws sunk, he was unable to find the shallow bottom of the bay. His limbs thrusted him up as he took a breath in. He tried to turn around and get back but failed. His giant arms tried to grab the edge of the bay but failed. Instead, he accidentally swam further away, above much deeper water. His breath was becoming stale. He breathed out, hoping to breathe in again. He failed to realize breathing out would make him slightly denser inside, causing him to sink more. He was sinking, unable to swim properly and out of breath. Under the water, the Snorlax involuntarily breathed in, filling him with bay water and making him sink even more. The Snorlax treied to breathe as his wind pipe closed, making it impossible to get any more air or water in. His chest tightened, but the lack of air and water filling his nostrils burned like a bitch. His giant lungs burned, distracting him from trying to swim up, instead he pushed on his chest trying to ease the pain. It was as if he gave up trying to swim up. His tight grip on his chest weakened as his body went limp and the feeling of pain was replaced with an odd bliss. The lack of air eventually suffocated him, causing him to drift unconsciously at the bottom of the bay. His unconscious body twitched causing his fur to spread out, making him look slightly bigger. His chest tightened and expanded, causing his upper body to thrust against the heavy water, not that it mattered. He was unconscious and the lack of air eventually stopped the poor 'mons heart.
