In he went to retrieve wisdom from Splinter, before his sensei could air his room out and disguise them under the calming scents of candles. Sneakily he did his best to try and retrieve information about what happened last night... but a pupil will need to practice a lot more than that before he could go tricking his sensei. Splinter understood what he was looking for and played his game, telling him everything he needed to know about this "wisdom" he came looking for.
For the next several days Donnie pondered and battled it out in his head... Why? Why would Mikey and... his own father do such lewd things. It didn't make sense. Specially for Donnie he was not into other guys like that, more importantly he wouldn't look at his own brothers that way... or his sensei.... he wouldn't... he couldn't? No... maybe?
Through the days he grew closer to relieving his troubled mind of these unnatural ethics... But not before he realized someone else had visited Splinter late at night. Then another a few days later.... He tried to bury this deep into his head with what he was passionate about... after all hard work made a great distraction but it wasn't strong enough. Day by day he grew more tense, more annoyed, more fed up with his project. He couldn't focus and was far too stressed for something that really didn't involve him.
He needed to relieve this stress, maybe a sparring fight with his brothers? Or perhaps a walk around the city in disguise? No... all of those options would only let his mind wonder more and more. After researching the best... easiest way to relieve stress, drinking some calming tea, and a nap. He got up, eyes blood shot after awakening from what his subconscious mind had yelled at him thoroughly in his sleep. With a deep sigh he pulled himself out of bed, walked through the halls to find his brothers all sound asleep in their own room, all but Master Splinter.
He politely asked if he could seek his wisdom, one more time. Splinter being the loving father he was invited him in, knowing one day Donnie may return to finish the talk they had not too long ago. He explained that he knew what his brothers did with him, and that even though he wasn't into males like they probably were he just wanted to get this all out of his head. He looked at his hands as they shook, he didn't blame his brothers or his sensei... he blamed his damn unstoppable curiosity.
Splinter of course led the boy closer and asked him to disrobe as Sensei did the same and somehow Donnie just did it, no questions... no hesitation, he was determined what this was all about. Why his brothers sought this so longingly. Splinter brought his son close and embraced him, assuring him there was nothing they had to do he wasn't comfortable doing and again Donnie proclaimed with a flushed face that he did not care, he wasn't even sure he was into this he just needed these curiosities out of his head.
So Splinter did what sensei thought was best. There was no need to take donnie far, nothing but a simple act quickly melted his son before him. Donnie walked away that night tired and floaty. He didn't have to be into it to find relief in it but relief sure enough he had. Perhaps next time he'll want to learn more about these curiosities.
