\n\t\t\t\t\t| " | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCaptain's Personal Log Stardate 3321.11.19 I was given an opportunity to forge positive diplomatic relationships with the Nomuran race, also known by their colloquial name "Moon Jellyfish", when I came across their Class III Deep-space Science vessel today. A sentient space-faring race, the Nomurans had entered the galactic council in 2953, a couple of hundred years before our own planet developed the first reliable spacecraft capable of long-distance interstellar travel. At first glance they share several similarities with the Shokushii; their bodies are covered with numerous tentacles wherein several are used for the purpose of inseminating their partners, and they also take comfort in the confines of narrow, dimly-lit places. This personal preference of their species is reflective in the designs of their space crafts which are dimly lit, and their corridors and compartments considerably narrow when compared to a similarly-classed vessel belonging to a different race. This is due to their inherit racial characteristics, as they have no need for light as they glow with natural efflorescence to illuminate their surroundings wherever they went, and their vulnerably soft bodies have instilled an instinct to hide away in narrow cracks and crevices as a result of natural instinct to protect themselves. However there are several key differences between the Nomurans and the Shokushii; the Nomurans are sentient and highly intelligent (Seeing as they have developed the technology for space travel before our planet did), and they have clearly defined sexes and are either distinctly male or female. They have no requirement to seek an external host as their life cycle process allows the gestation of their young within their own bodies, up until the larval stage where the offspring will be birthed by their host mother and become airborne. There is no danger to the other races to copulate with a Nomuran as they will only be filled with semen that is likely incapable of fertilising any race outside of their own. Needless to say, it was exciting to encounter them for the first time in person, and I was more than happy to engage in their customary practices of offering them a safe, dim place to seek shelter in when I invited the captain of the Science Vessel aboard my ship. I hope the captain finds my warm, wet crevices pleasing and acceptable. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
