They descended though many levels and fought many tough wild pokémon slowly draining their strength. Reaching the end of the dungeon, they finally found the Snivy, only to be beaten by another exploration team. Two pokémon they've never seen before. One was a small black mole with blue-gray streaks across its body. It had a white snout with a pink nose and white claws and was wearing a blue bandana around its neck. The other was another mole, only this one was bigger. It had a dark brown body with a red diamond pattern all over, also wearing a bandana. Its steel features on its head and forelimbs looked threatening. Too tired and hungry from their exploration, Jetto and Pikachu could no longer stand as they fell and fainted. Later, they woke up outside, smelling the fresh air. Next to them were the same Pokémon they saw in the cave, along with the Snivy they tried to rescue. They introduced themselves as Excadrill and Drilbur, another exploration team. Drilbur handed them a couple of Oran berries to eat. Quickly they ate at their berries, their energy being replenished. Grateful for the team’s kindness, Pikachu asked them if there was anything they could to repay them. Responding with a smile, Excadrill explained that they travelled a lot, seeing many sights, meeting new pokemon. But they never got any pleasure.
