Maria started with a rough brush and stroked him from head to tail, deep into the undercoat, removing all dead hair from his fur. Then she took a fine brush to brush him again all over his body until his coat was silky shiny. That felt incredibly good for Ozy, he loved it when Maria spoiled him so much. Finally she rubbed him with her hands and a special oil so that his coat felt incredibly fine. She always checked his ears and paws to see if anything needed her attention. The whole thing lasted about an hour.
