Emotion is called many things, strength, weakness, humanity...I'll call it one more: Emotion is a drug.  No matter where you are or what you're doing, the wrong emotion can destroy you and the right one can make you unstoppable.  It isn't a particular emotion that does one or the other, but the emotion you need at the time versus the one you don't.  

Phaine is my emotion.  She embodies everything I ever have and ever will feel, and as such she is half god and half insanity.  I will always do what I can to keep her from harming herself and those around her, even sometimes going so far as to keep her out of sight...but I will never try to suppress her.
