She placed the shining coins aside, caring less for the money itself, and more for what it would buy her: flowers. \n\nShe loved flowers, and she used nearly every cent she made to buy them, however, she didn’t do so for the regular reasons one would buy flowers. They were not a present or a showing of love; rather, to her, they were her lifeblood. She was a bee, an anthropomorphic one, with magical abilities that most bees didn’t share - her honey had healing and rejuvenating qualities, unnaturally powerful ones. To make that honey, she ate flowers, especially magical ones, and she needed a steady supply to maintain her production. Though, it wasn’t a simple cycle of eat flowers, make honey, sell honey, use money to buy flowers, repeat - she loved the taste and smell of flowers more than anything else, at least, of what she’d encountered so far. She loved this way of living.\n\nNext to her bee-head–shaped house was a wooden quest board, where adventurers could come to help her out with procuring anything she needed for the shop. She sold more than just her honey, and she was quite lazy - she preferred to spend her days tending to the little space, rather than venturing far outside of it.\n\nToday was just another day of running the shop; customers coming and going, a few per hour. Business was slow, but that was ok - it didn’t need to be busy for her to get what she wanted. \n\nNight was coming; it may be time to close up shop soon… though before that, she could hear another customer’s paws tapping against the dirt road, their shadow appearing before they did as the sun set behind them. Along with that came a loud [i]BUUUURP!![/i]; Zeema didn’t react much to it, not caring much for the details of her clientele. \n\nEventually, the customer came into sight. It was a Lopunny, an uncommon species for an adventurer, but a welcome one. She was tall, red eyes standing out in the darkness, large swirls on her ears; her outfit was dark, her leather armor painted black and being quite sparse on her somewhat lean body… Or at least, it seemed that’s how it was supposed to look, but currently, her undershirt was noticeably riding up on her fat belly. The brown flab rolled over her waistline, jiggling as she moved, a satisfied look on her face… clearly, she’d had a large meal quite recently. “Are you Zeema?” She asked as she strode up to the counter, towering over the bee. \n\nZeema was far from small, but she was on the shorter side; Tulip had more than a foot on her, not that the shopkeeper cared. She wore much less clothing than the bunny did, her very fluffy fur hiding most of her private parts, though a white skirt with a floral line at its edge did cover the most important area. Her sternum, the large bulbous backside from which her honey and other things came from, stuck out the bottom of the skirt, barely above hitting the floor. The nearest town is still miles away.” The bunny rubbed her belly fat, which [i]glrked[/i] in response, and thought for a moment. “You don’t think I could stay with you tonight, do you? I can pay.”\n\nZeema tapped her fingers against the wood, leaning over the counter a bit to get a closer look at the bunny. It took more than just an attractive body to make her interested in another anthro, though the bee found her eyes suddenly locked onto the fuzzy brown fur of the Lopunny. Tulip, hm? Just that name made her heart race a bit, as simple and dumb as it might’ve been. And it sure did help that the bunny’s body was just as magnificent and pretty to view as a flower’s large petals. The bee stepped back - the shop must’ve been about five feet wide at most, seven feet tall, making it so Tulip’s ears hit the ceiling. “Ah, I love the carpet on the ground, so fuzzy… though, I’m sure it's not as fuzzy as your fur must be~”\n\n\nZeema grabbed one of her antennae and ran her paws over it, eyes looking away, lips curled into a small smile. “It is quite fuzzy… You can feel it, if you’d like. But only if I can get something from your body in return.”\n\n“Oh?” Tulip put a paw against her waist; her belly made a low rumble yet again as she leaned over, squeezing it between her upper and lower body. “And what is your request, fuzzy little honeybee~?”\n\n“Um… Could I smell you? Like I would a flower? I wonder if your scent is as pleasant as your name implies.” It was an odd request, but Zeema took great pleasure in the smells of the world, especially those associated with flowers. An adventurer’s body was unlikely to actually smell as nice as a flower would, but regardless, thinking of Tulip as a flower, she did want to take in that scent… even if it wasn’t so pretty as a flower’s scent would be. \n\n“Smell me? How cute~ Of course a bee would be drawn to me. I suppose I could indulge you, just a little bit~”\n\nZeema’s antennae wiggled a bit, her face getting warmer, heart beating hard in excitement. She lit a lamp, then grabbed above the shop window and pulled down a wooden cover, which locked into place, leaving no room for moonlight to come in. “Thank you!” Zeema handed off a jar of her magic honey to one of the many adventurers who had come to visit her little pop-up shop in the middle of the Draconia wilds. She placed the shining coins aside, caring less for the money itself, and more for what it would buy her: flowers.
She loved flowers, and she used nearly every cent she made to buy them, however, she didn’t do so for the regular reasons one would buy flowers. They were not a present or a showing of love; rather, to her, they were her lifeblood. She was a bee, an anthropomorphic one, with magical abilities that most bees didn’t share - her honey had healing and rejuvenating qualities, unnaturally powerful ones. To make that honey, she ate flowers, especially magical ones, and she needed a steady supply to maintain her production. Though, it wasn’t a simple cycle of eat flowers, make honey, sell honey, use money to buy flowers, repeat - she loved the taste and smell of flowers more than anything else, at least, of what she’d encountered so far. She loved this way of living.
Next to her bee-head–shaped house was a wooden quest board, where adventurers could come to help her out with procuring anything she needed for the shop. She sold more than just her honey, and she was quite lazy - she preferred to spend her days tending to the little space, rather than venturing far outside of it.
Today was just another day of running the shop; customers coming and going, a few per hour. Business was slow, but that was ok - it didn’t need to be busy for her to get what she wanted.
Night was coming; it may be time to close up shop soon… though before that, she could hear another customer’s paws tapping against the dirt road, their shadow appearing before they did as the sun set behind them. Along with that came a loud BUUUURP!!; Zeema didn’t react much to it, not caring much for the details of her clientele.
Eventually, the customer came into sight. It was a Lopunny, an uncommon species for an adventurer, but a welcome one. She was tall, red eyes standing out in the darkness, large swirls on her ears; her outfit was dark, her leather armor painted black and being quite sparse on her somewhat lean body… Or at least, it seemed that’s how it was supposed to look, but currently, her undershirt was noticeably riding up on her fat belly. The brown flab rolled over her waistline, jiggling as she moved, a satisfied look on her face… clearly, she’d had a large meal quite recently. “Are you Zeema?” She asked as she strode up to the counter, towering over the bee.
Zeema was far from small, but she was on the shorter side; Tulip had more than a foot on her, not that the shopkeeper cared. She wore much less clothing than the bunny did, her very fluffy fur hiding most of her private parts, though a white skirt with a floral line at its edge did cover the most important area.
