Tobias explained as he sat down, he patted the couch to signal Keenan to sit with him, he jumped onto the couch and sat down next to him. ``Located in the town of Yakanaka, this world has a lot of things you'll have to get used to, but for now, I think you should eat something.''\n\nKeenan's stomach growled again, ``Yeah.'' he glanced around the room again, ``So, what do you eat?''\n\n``Well, I prepared something for you, but the Daspletosaurus kind of made me hold off for a bit.'' he opened his bag and got out the meal he saved earlier, ``Ta-da! it's food!''\n\n``What is it?'' Keenan asked as Tobias opened the container.\n\n``Bolognese and Pasta!'' Tobias announced excitedly as he placed the container on the floor, ``Try it!''\n\nKeenan sniffed the food, it smelled good, he didn't know why it smelled good, but it did, he took a nibble, it tasted good, he took a bite, and soon he was eating it at adequate speed, this was the best food he had tasted in a while, the warmth, the flavour, it was beautiful!\n\nTobias walked over to the kitchen and looked around for a snack before bed, he didn't eat much, and he was a bit hungry after all that adventuring, he took an apple and sat back down, he watched Keenan eat ravenously as he took a bite out of his apple.\n\nEventually they finished their meals, Tobias chuckled at Keenan as the confused chirostenotes had sauce around his beak.\n\n``Lemme get that for you.'' Tobias smiled, he grabbed a wet wipe and gently wiped Keenan's mouth clean, much to his mild annoyance, ``There you go!'' Tobias smiled as he stood up, he put the wipe in the bin.\n\nKeenan yawned, it had been a long day for both of them, they decided to go to bed for the night. Realising he doesn't have a bed for Keenan, he decided to share his own. Keenan slept above the covers on Tobias's lap, much like a dog, while Tobias slept under the covers laid on his back, his left arm covering his eyes and his head resting on his right hand which was hidden under a pillow.\n\nIf I could, begin to be, half of what you think of me...\n\nThe duo was awoken by the alarm of Tobias's ManaPhone, Keenan slightly flinched at the sudden sound while Tobias sat up and dismissed the alarm.\n\n``What was that?'' Tobias explained as Keenan got off the bed, ``It wakes me up in the morning so I can go to work.''\n\nSaying that, Tobias wondered how he would do his job while he took care of Keenan. He stood up and stretched outward as well, after getting himself ready, he was ready to make him and Keenan breakfast.\n\nAs Tobias got his ingredients, Keenan decided to talk with Tobias, through his amazement, he had forgotten to ask a crucial question, ``Tobias?'' he asked curiously.\n\nTobias turned his head, ``Yeah, Keenan?'' he replied.\n\n``Do you think I'll see sister again?'' he wondered.\n\nTobias frowned, but tried to be optimistic, ``Well, of course.'' he strained for an answer, ``I mean, once Theo is done with Kiera, he'll let her go, right?''\n\nKeenan cocked his head in confusion, ``I guess.'' but then, he thought of something else, ``But once he lets her go, do you think she could live here with us?''\n\n``Sure!'' Tobias smiled, with the salary he had, he could afford it easily, Tobias had made his breakfast, cornflakes, while for Keenan, buttered toast with lettuce on it.\n\n``Here you go!'' Tobias handed down Keenan his breakfast while he placed his breakfast on the table, he turned on the TV and watched the news.\n\nAutumn was on the news, she was being talked to by an avian newscaster. ``So, Autumn.'' He began, ``Do you have any idea on how you will save your school?''\n\n``This again.'' Tobias thought in annoyance, the school he had been working at hadn't been doing so well recently, though he was never told why, and when he went to his classes, everything seemed normal, sometimes he wondered if it was really failing or not.\n\n``Well, something big has happened in another world.'' Autumn began, she spoke calmly when she told this, ``I don't know what it is, but I know someone that will confirm a large explosion of benders that we will teach there.''\n\n``How do you that something happened in another world?'' the newscaster asked.\n\n``Simple, that someone told me.'' Autumn explained, ``He went with the avatar, you can talk to him about it.''\n\n``HIII!'' Tiangui greeted the newscaster cheerfully, ``So you wanna talk about that something that happened in the other world? I'll tell ya!''\n\n``Then tell them.'' An annoyed Autumn sighed as she walked away from the duo.\n\n``Okay, so me and Tobias...'' Tiangui began, Tobias didn't listen to any of it, Tiangui just explained what happened, albeit he conveniently left out the part where they were attacked.\n\nKeenan finished his breakfast, he looked towards the TV, he had been listening the whole time, though this was his fist time seeing a TV, ``I thought Tiangui was here for a second.'' he said to himself. ``Why is he in there?''\n\n``It's a TV transmission.'' Tobias told Keenan as he picked up Keenan's plate. ``You're looking at something happening from far away.''\n\nKeenan squinted his eyes as he tried to wrap his head around what Tobias said, he couldn't believe what he was told, nor could he begin to wonder about the other things he would find.\n\nTobias finished washing Keenan's plate and his bowl, ``Alright, Keenan.'' he began, ``First we have to get some things from the store for our objective for today!''\n\n``What kind of things?'' Keenan asked Tobias, ``And what's a store?''\n\n``I'll show you when I get there.'' Tobias smiled, he grabbed his white robe, put it on, grabbed his bag and opened the door, ready to show Keenan the store for the first time!\n\nIt wasn't easy teaching Keenan about his new environment, he was creeped out by the other people living here, and nearly got himself killed when he tried to cross the road and nearly got hit by a car.\n\nBut eventually, much to Tobias's relief, they made it to the store, which is it's actual name, The Store was a big mega-mall, Keenan was amazed by the sights around him, though he figured would have to wait to see what was inside, since today they were just going to the convenience mart, Keenan looked though the merchandise, mostly the fruit, at least he guessed it was fruit, Tobias stood behind him to make sure he didn't try to eat anything.\n\n``This is the store.'' Tobias explained to Keenan, squatting down near him, ``People get things from here using money.''\n\n``What's money?'' Keenan asked him, Tobias got out his wallet and showed him his debit card.\n\n``This is a form of money.'' Tobias explained, ``It contains a number, and that number is how much money I have, I get more by doing my job.''\n\n``What is your job?'' Keenan asked him, As Tobias explained his job of an Earthbending teacher, he grabbed several battery packs and some groceries he needed, Keenan eventually stopped listening, for he was too busy looking at the merchandise, what were these oblong shaped bars? What are those shiny round orange things and why were they in a box? \n\nTobias saw him looking at the chocolate orange, he stopped his lecture, ``You still listening?'' he asked, but when he saw Keenan pick it up, Tobias took it from his claws and put it in the basket along with the other groceries, ``If you want me to buy you something you need to ask me.''\n\nKeenan looked confused, ``Why can't I just take it?'' he asked in confusion.\n\n``Because that would be stealing.'' Tobias told him as he walked over to the self-service checkout.\n\nKeenan rolled his eyes uncaringly and walked away, he looked at the merchandise again, Bingo! He found another chocolate orange, he picked it up and began to investigate, he found an opening in the container, he lifted the flap open with his finger, he took the tinfoil sphere out of the container, dropping the container, he looked for another opening.\n\nMeanwhile, Tobias was done with the self-service check-out, as he was paying for everything, he met his friends, Karis and Esteban.\n\nKaris was a slim teal and white waterbender badger, her long lavender hair was tied up in a ponytail, which only reached underneath her shoulders, she wore a turquoise shirt, and short blue jeans which was held by a black belt with a yellow buckle.\n\nEsteban was a strong brown firebender bird with faded-sky blue eyes, he had long maroon hair, the stern avian with the scar on his left cheek wore a blue hoodie with two pockets, a yellow t-shirt and a pair of camo pants, he had black leather fingerless gloves and a yellow beak and talons, though his talons only had two front claws and one back claw, that was a birth defect, or so he claimed.\n\n``Hey!'' Karis cheerfully introduced herself, Tobias waved back as he picked up the last of his shopping. ``Buying some groceries?''\n\n``Yep!'' Tobias smiled as he turned to his friends, ``I'm just getting things for my next mission.''\n\n``Introducing dinosaurs to bending?'' Esteban asked bluntly, ``Are you sure that's a good idea?''\n\n``Well, they wanted to know in order to keep their kids safe.'' Tobias looked around him, he was looking for Keenan but couldn't find him.\n\n``What are you looking for?'' Karis asked curiously.\n\n``Keenan.'' Tobias explained, ``I decided to take care of him.''\n\nEsteban shook his head, ``You made that kind of decision yet on your first day you lose him.'' he sighed in disbelief, ``Do you have any idea on how to take care of a child?''\n\nTobias laughed nervously, meanwhile, Keenan managed to unwrap the tinfoil of the chocolate orange, he had finished eating it, the taste was heavenly, nothing he had ever tasted in his life, the creamy tango flavour was terrific, but then he was confronted by a loud gruff voice, he turned around and saw to his shock, a green Fire Bro? Or what he thought, actually it was a Hammer Brother security guard.\n\n``You're coming with me.'' the HB demanded, Keenan backed away from him, but then the Hammer Bro tried to grab his arm, Keenan dodged and quickly ran out of the convenience mart.\n\nTobias saw this in the corner of his eye, shocked, he grabbed his shopping and quickly ran out of the mart, but he couldn't find Keenan.\n\nKaris and Esteban followed behind him, ``Was that green thing Keenan?'' Karis asked in confusion.\n\n``Well it was.'' Tobias frowned, ``Now we have to find him.''\n\n``It'll take a while.'' Esteban pointed out. ``The Store is a very big place, we'd need a constant aerial view in order to find him.''\n\nTobias thought for a second, then he had an idea! ``I know someone who can do that!'' he announced, he grabbed his ManaPhone.\n\n``Who do you have in mind?'' Esteban asked the eager dragon, he sent Esteban and Karis the coordinates he had for the Mesozoic Era, the duo put the coordinates in.\n\n``This takes one third of our mana power.'' Esteban complained, ``Are you sure this is a good idea?''\n\n``Look, just use these!'' Tobias gave them the Mana Packs, Karis frowned, she was unsure about this.\n\n``It'll be alright, trust me!'' Tobias ensured then, but before they could say anything, Tobias teleported away.\n\nTobias found himself at Pteranodon Station, he ran towards the direction he knew was Pteranodon Terrace, but what he didn't consider was the large distance between the station and the terrace, for a flying creature, it was 2 minutes, to walk, it took about 7 minutes if you knew the way, of course, this wasn't the case for Tobias.\n\nIt took Tobias 15 minutes before he reached the nest of the Pteranodon Family, panting, he looked at the nest, there he saw a feminine adult green Pteranodon with wider eyes, it was Mrs. Pteranodon, but she looked a bit pale, Tobias assumed she still wasn't well, taking care of her was an aqua pteranodon, also with wide sky blue eyes, and her beak was very pointy, this was Shiny Pteranodon.\n\nShiny turned around and flinched at the sight of Tobias, a small yelp escaped her beak as she walked back a few steps, Mrs. Pteranodon lifted her head groggily, she looked at Tobias with her tired eyes.\n\n``Don't worry, I'm not dangerous.'' Tobias panted. ``Do you know where Perry is?''\n\n``My husband?'' Mrs. Pteranodon coughed, ``He's talking with Mr. Lambeosaurus, you just need to go that way.''\n\nMrs. Pteranodon pointed towards a dirt path way, Tobias ran towards where she was pointing. But he wasn't looking where he was going, his foot suddenly stepped in something slightly deep, he lost his balance and tripped over.\n\nAs he began to pick himself up, he saw a small green pteranodon in a hole, he was a bit pudgy, he had black eyes, and his lower jaw was slightly bigger than his upper jaw, this was Don Pteranodon, he liked to dig small holes, and one of these holes caused him to trip and fall.\n\n``Hello!'' Don poked his head out of the hole, Tobias began to stand up, ``Hey.'' he groaned in mild pain as he brushed the dirt off of his arms, ``Do you know where your dad is?''\n\nBut before Don could answer, two glowing balls of light appeared and disappeared, leaving two lifeforms, it was Esteban and Karis!\n\nDon turned to the alien creatures behind him, ``Who are you?'' he asked them.\n\n``I'm Tobias, that's Esteban and that's Karis.'' he quickly introduced everyone as he pointed to them, ``Now tell me where your dad is!''\n\n``How did you get here?'' Don asked Karis, Tobias groaned impatiently as she began to explain her ManaPhone.\n\n``We teleported using this.'' Karis opened the teleportation app, ``We waited until Tobias got here so we could track his coordinates and teleport here so we didn't have to dash here like he did.''\n\nTobias glared at her angrily, ``Why didn't you tell me about that?'' he complained.\n\n``You never asked.'' Esteban shrugged, ``Honestly, when would you ever need to track someone's coordinates?''\n\nTobias signed in annoyance, Karis continued to explain the teleportation app, but then Don accidently pressed on the screen with his beak, both of them glowed and teleported back to Fenhue, much to Tobias and Esteban's shock.\n\nIt seems like our two characters would have to explain to Don's dad about what just happened, meanwhile, Keenan is still missing, and they still needed to go to the bending school!\n\nWhat will happen next? Esteban was a strong brown firebender bird with faded-sky blue eyes, he had long maroon hair, the stern avian with the scar on his left cheek wore a blue hoodie with two pockets, a yellow t-shirt and a pair of camo pants, he had black leather fingerless gloves and a yellow beak and talons, though his talons only had two front claws and one back claw, that was a birth defect, or so he claimed.
``Hey!'' Karis cheerfully introduced herself, Tobias waved back as he picked up the last of his shopping. ``Buying some groceries?''
``Yep!'' Tobias smiled as he turned to his friends, ``I'm just getting things for my next mission.''
``Introducing dinosaurs to bending?'' Esteban asked bluntly, ``Are you sure that's a good idea?''
``Well, they wanted to know in order to keep their kids safe.'' Tobias looked around him, he was looking for Keenan but couldn't find him.
``What are you looking for?'' Karis asked curiously.
``Keenan.'' Tobias explained, ``I decided to take care of him.''
Esteban shook his head, ``You made that kind of decision yet on your first day you lose him.'' he sighed in disbelief, ``Do you have any idea on how to take care of a child?''
Tobias laughed nervously, meanwhile, Keenan managed to unwrap the tinfoil of the chocolate orange, he had finished eating it, the taste was heavenly, nothing he had ever tasted in his life, the creamy tango flavour was terrific, but then he was confronted by a loud gruff voice, he turned around and saw to his shock, a green Fire Bro? Or what he thought, actually it was a Hammer Brother security guard.
``You're coming with me.'' the HB demanded, Keenan backed away from him, but then the Hammer Bro tried to grab his arm, Keenan dodged and quickly ran out of the convenience mart.
Tobias saw this in the corner of his eye, shocked, he grabbed his shopping and quickly ran out of the mart, but he couldn't find Keenan.
Karis and Esteban followed behind him, ``Was that green thing Keenan?'' Karis asked in confusion.
``Well it was.'' Tobias frowned, ``Now we have to find him.''
``It'll take a while.'' Esteban pointed out. ``The Store is a very big place, we'd need a constant aerial view in order to find him.''
Tobias thought for a second, then he had an idea! ``I know someone who can do that!'' he announced, he grabbed his ManaPhone.
``Who do you have in mind?'' Esteban asked the eager dragon, he sent Esteban and Karis the coordinates he had for the Mesozoic Era, the duo put the coordinates in.
``This takes one third of our mana power.'' Esteban complained, ``Are you sure this is a good idea?''
``Look, just use these!'' Tobias gave them the Mana Packs, Karis frowned, she was unsure about this.
``It'll be alright, trust me!'' Tobias ensured then, but before they could say anything, Tobias teleported away.
Tobias found himself at Pteranodon Station, he ran towards the direction he knew was Pteranodon Terrace, but what he didn't consider was the large distance between the station and the terrace, for a flying creature, it was 2 minutes, to walk, it took about 7 minutes if you knew the way, of course, this wasn't the case for Tobias.
It took Tobias 15 minutes before he reached the nest of the Pteranodon Family, panting, he looked at the nest, there he saw a feminine adult green Pteranodon with wider eyes, it was Mrs. Pteranodon, but she looked a bit pale, Tobias assumed she still wasn't well, taking care of her was an aqua pteranodon, also with wide sky blue eyes, and her beak was very pointy, this was Shiny Pteranodon.
Shiny turned around and flinched at the sight of Tobias, a small yelp escaped her beak as she walked back a few steps, Mrs. Pteranodon lifted her head groggily, she looked at Tobias with her tired eyes.
``Don't worry, I'm not dangerous.'' Tobias panted. ``Do you know where Perry is?''
``My husband?'' Mrs. Pteranodon coughed, ``He's talking with Mr. Lambeosaurus, you just need to go that way.''
Mrs. Pteranodon pointed towards a dirt path way, Tobias ran towards where she was pointing. But he wasn't looking where he was going, his foot suddenly stepped in something slightly deep, he lost his balance and tripped over.
As he began to pick himself up, he saw a small green pteranodon in a hole, he was a bit pudgy, he had black eyes, and his lower jaw was slightly bigger than his upper jaw, this was Don Pteranodon, he liked to dig small holes, and one of these holes caused him to trip and fall.
``Hello!'' Don poked his head out of the hole, Tobias began to stand up, ``Hey.'' he groaned in mild pain as he brushed the dirt off of his arms, ``Do you know where your dad is?''
But before Don could answer, two glowing balls of light appeared and disappeared, leaving two lifeforms, it was Esteban and Karis!
Don turned to the alien creatures behind him, ``Who are you?'' he asked them.
``I'm Tobias, that's Esteban and that's Karis.'' he quickly introduced everyone as he pointed to them, ``Now tell me where your dad is!''
``How did you get here?'' Don asked Karis, Tobias groaned impatiently as she began to explain her ManaPhone.
``We teleported using this.'' Karis opened the teleportation app, ``We waited until Tobias got here so we could track his coordinates and teleport here so we didn't have to dash here like he did.''
Tobias glared at her angrily, ``Why didn't you tell me about that?'' he complained.
``You never asked.'' Esteban shrugged, ``Honestly, when would you ever need to track someone's coordinates?''
Tobias signed in annoyance, Karis continued to explain the teleportation app, but then Don accidently pressed on the screen with his beak, both of them glowed and teleported back to Fenhue, much to Tobias and Esteban's shock.
It seems like our two characters would have to explain to Don's dad about what just happened, meanwhile, Keenan is still missing, and they still needed to go to the bending school!
