### *Tobias: Taken (Part 1)*

The day started as normal for Tobias and Martha. Walking home from Evergrand Penitatas School, they laughed and chatted about their plans for the weekend.

“Come on, just give me a hint,” Martha teased, her floppy ears bouncing with each step.

“It’s a surprise!” Tobias replied with a smirk. “You’ll see when we get there.”

Before they could say more, a black van screeched to a halt beside them. The doors flung open, and several masked figures leapt out. Tobias’s ears flattened, and his tail bristled as one grabbed him roughly, pulling him toward the van.

“Let us go!” Tobias shouted, thrashing wildly.

Martha screamed, kicking at one of the kidnappers, but her smaller size made it difficult to fight back.

“Quiet, you two!” one of the figures growled, dragging them into the van. The door slammed shut, and the vehicle sped off.

### *The Sibling Crew*

When the van finally stopped, Tobias and Martha were pulled into an old abandoned factory on the outskirts of Evergrand Island. The air was damp and smelled of rust, and the faint sound of dripping water echoed through the space.

Their captors revealed themselves—a group of three siblings, each with a hardened, intimidating presence. The leader, a tall boy with scruffy hair, crossed his arms and smirked.

“I’m Clyde,” he said, his voice dripping with arrogance. “And these are my sisters, Serena and Ivy. You two are going to help us.”

“Help you with what?” Tobias snapped, glaring at him.

Clyde chuckled. “A few hacks. You’re smart kids, right? Especially you, rabbit girl,” he said, pointing at Martha. “We’ve got some accounts to clear and some records to wipe.”

“And if we don’t?” Martha asked, her voice steady despite her trembling hands.

Serena, a sharp-eyed girl with a cold expression, stepped forward. “You don’t have a choice.”

### *Tobias Resists*

Martha was dragged toward a makeshift desk with a laptop set up on it, while Tobias was shoved toward an old wooden chair.

“You’re not going to get away with this,” Tobias growled, his tail lashing. “People will notice we’re missing.”

“Yeah? And by the time they do, we’ll be long gone,” Clyde said smugly. “Now sit down and keep your mouth shut.”

Tobias refused to comply, squaring his shoulders. “We’re not helping you.”

Clyde’s smirk faded, replaced by a scowl. “You’re a feisty one, huh? Let’s fix that.”

Without warning, Clyde picked up a nearby metal club and swung it at Tobias. The blunt force struck the side of Tobias’s head with a sickening *thud*, sending him sprawling to the ground.

“Tobias!” Martha screamed, trying to rush to him, but Ivy grabbed her arm, holding her back.

Tobias groaned, clutching his head as pain exploded in his skull. His vision blurred, and a sharp ringing filled his ears. As he tried to focus, he realized with growing horror that the sound was only coming from one side.

### *The Aftermath*

Clyde crouched down beside Tobias, smirking as he wiped the club on his pants. “You’re going to learn to behave, kitten.”

Tobias’s hand trembled as he touched his ear, feeling a warm, sticky wetness. His hearing in that ear was gone, replaced by an eerie, high-pitched tone.

“Leave him alone!” Martha shouted, struggling against Ivy’s grip.

“Shut her up,” Serena barked.

Ivy shoved Martha into the chair by the laptop, towering over her. “Start typing. Now.”

Martha’s hands trembled as she hesitated, glancing at Tobias. His face was pale, his body weak from the blow, but his eyes still burned with defiance.

“Don’t do it, Martha,” Tobias croaked, his voice barely audible. “They’re not going to win.”

Clyde rolled his eyes and stood, kicking Tobias hard in the side. “Shut up already. You’re only making this harder on yourself.”

### *The Sibling Plan*

As Martha reluctantly began typing on the laptop under Serena’s watchful eye, Tobias struggled to push himself upright. The throbbing in his head made it nearly impossible to think clearly, and the ringing in his ear was maddening.

“Why are you doing this?” Martha asked, her voice shaking. “What do you even want?”

Clyde leaned against the desk, smirking. “A little money, a clean slate, and some revenge. That’s all. Nothing you can’t handle.”

“This is wrong,” Martha said, her floppy ears drooping. “You can’t just—”

“Ivy,” Clyde interrupted. “Make sure she stays focused.”

Ivy glared at Martha, slamming her hand on the desk. “Less talking. More typing.”

### *To Be Continued...*

As the night wore on, Tobias and Martha found themselves in a dangerous and seemingly hopeless situation. With Tobias injured and Martha under pressure to comply, their chances of escape seemed slim. Yet, even in the midst of fear and pain, Tobias clung to one thought: they had to find a way out—together.

Unbeknownst to their captors, their resolve to resist was stronger than ever, and the siblings had underestimated just how resourceful their captives could be.
