### *Tobias: An Unwelcome Visit*

The afternoon sunlight filtered into the Rowe living room as Tobias sat on the carpet with Bruno and Martha. Pieces of a half-assembled model spaceship were spread out before them, and the trio worked together to make progress.

“Hand me that connector,” Martha said, pointing to a small piece.

Bruno picked it up and handed it over. “This one? Looks like it doesn’t fit.”

“It does if you read the instructions,” Martha quipped, smirking.

Tobias chuckled nervously. “Let’s just try it both ways before you two argue about it.”

Their lighthearted chatter was interrupted by the sharp sound of the doorbell. Tobias’s ears twitched nervously as he heard his father answer the door.

“Hello?” Mr. Rowe’s polite voice carried from the hallway, followed by a louder, sharper tone.

“Well, if it isn’t Tobias’s dear old dad,” a woman’s voice sneered. Tobias froze.

### *Cassie Arrives*

Cassie stepped into the living room uninvited, her sharp heels clicking on the wooden floor. Her presence immediately filled the space with tension. She was tall, impeccably dressed, and carried herself with a confidence that bordered on arrogance. Tobias’s tail curled protectively around him as she scanned the room.

“Tobias,” Cassie said with a smirk. “Still hanging out with kids, I see. Nice to know nothing’s changed.”

“What are you doing here?” Tobias asked, his voice shaky.

“Oh, don’t look so surprised,” Cassie replied, crossing her arms. “I thought I’d check in on my dear ex-boyfriend. It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”

Bruno and Martha exchanged confused glances. Cassie turned her attention to them, her eyes narrowing. “And who are these two? Your babysitters?”

“They’re my friends,” Tobias said firmly, trying to stand his ground.

Cassie’s smirk deepened. “Friends, huh? Looks more like a pity party to me.”

### *Unwarranted Punishment*

Cassie’s condescending gaze settled on Martha. “What about you, rabbit? Got anything smart to say?”

Martha’s ears twitched, but she held her ground. “We don’t have to listen to you insult us.”

Cassie raised an eyebrow. “Oh, don’t we? You’ve got a big mouth for someone so small.”

Before anyone could react, Cassie grabbed Martha by the arm and pulled her toward a chair. “Someone needs to teach you some manners.”

“Hey, let her go!” Tobias shouted, standing up, but Cassie shot him a glare that froze him in place.

“You stay out of this,” Cassie snapped, seating herself and dragging Martha across her lap. In one swift motion, she raised Martha’s sundress and tugged her panties down, delivering sharp, stinging smacks to her backside.

Martha squirmed, her face red with humiliation. “Stop it!” she cried, but Cassie only smirked.

Bruno rushed forward to intervene, but Cassie shoved him back. “Don’t think you’re getting off easy,” she said, grabbing him next.

Cassie pushed Bruno over the arm of the couch, yanking down his shorts before delivering another round of harsh smacks. Tobias could only watch, his fists clenched and his tail lashing in frustration.

“Stop it, Cassie!” Tobias yelled, stepping forward. “You can’t do this!”

“Why not?” Cassie said, smirking as she stood. “Clearly, someone needs to discipline your friends if you won’t.”

### *The Plushie Revealed*

As Bruno and Martha recovered, Tobias sank to the floor, overwhelmed and shaking with anger. He instinctively reached for his plushie, clutching it tightly against his chest. Cassie’s eyes immediately zeroed in on the stuffed toy.

“What’s this?” she sneered, striding over. “You’re still carrying around a stuffed animal? How pathetic.”

“Leave it alone,” Tobias said quietly, his voice trembling.

“Oh, no,” Cassie said, snatching the plushie from his hands. “This is too good to pass up.”

With a swift, cruel motion, Cassie ripped the plushie’s head off its stuffed shoulders, holding it up like a trophy. Tobias gasped, his ears flattening as his eyes filled with tears.

“Cassie, that’s enough!” boomed Mr. Rowe’s voice from the doorway. He strode into the room, his usual calm demeanor replaced with icy fury.

### *Forced Out*

Cassie turned to face Mr. Rowe, still holding the torn plushie. “Oh, come on,” she said, rolling her eyes. “I’m just teaching your son a little lesson about growing up.”

Mr. Rowe’s tail lashed as he stepped forward, towering over her. “Teaching him? By bullying him and tearing apart something important to him? You’ve crossed the line.”

Cassie scoffed. “Oh, please. You’re overreacting.”

“No, I’m not,” Mr. Rowe said firmly, pointing toward the door. “You’re leaving. Now.”

Cassie hesitated, but the steely look in his eyes left no room for argument. Tossing the ruined plushie onto the floor, she straightened her jacket and marched out.

“You’re going to regret this,” she called over her shoulder before slamming the door behind her.

### *Aftermath*

Mr. Rowe sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping as he turned to Tobias. “Are you alright, son?”

Tobias nodded shakily, though his eyes lingered on the ruined plushie. Martha and Bruno moved closer, offering silent support.

“I’m sorry I didn’t step in sooner,” Mr. Rowe said gently. “She had no right to treat you—or your friends—that way.”

“It’s okay,” Tobias said softly, picking up the pieces of his plushie. “I’ll fix it.”

Martha placed a hand on his shoulder. “We’ll help.”

Bruno nodded. “Yeah. She may have torn it up, but we’ll make it better.”

For the first time that day, Tobias managed a small smile. Despite the chaos Cassie had caused, he knew he wasn’t alone—and that made all the difference.
