","writing":"Mikey had gone out on a supply run, just going to pick up the bare essentials from the local mini-mart. Though unlike before with the risk of getting caught in a big-name market, this one was frequented by local gangs “selling” what they called protection, like something out of some 50's gangster movie, not always purple dragons but just some low-name street gangs trying to win favor from them most likely.\n\nJust as frequently as they pester this place, the turtles always protected it and the owner inside, once to the point where they stopped him from getting shot exposing themselves to him. The owner, an older grey-haired man accepted them for what they were and called them his friends. Offering to make any purchase they made on the house, usually mikey teased about having a life-debt with a human from someplace like a comic shop or Wal-Mart to get free stuff for saving them from a genuine threat.\n\nHowever this was just a small shop, one too small to have anything outside of a quick grab and buy snack like a 7/11 only without the contradicting prices boasting “fair and cheap” so Mikey insisted they pay for everything they take from there where supplies go, and maybe only small tokens as “freebies” but only if they worked for it. Impressed by his mature statement, it was the only thing splinter approved of as far as being on the surface with a human outside of April, Irma, Casey, Angel, Kino and Carter were concerned.\n\nThis night would be a little different though, not only was it a supply night, but it was also a full moon night, and the weirdos were coming out more frequently than before, so Mikey decided to keep his spot atop the store to make sure no one decided to be brave enough to try to rob him again. Instead his ears are met with the sound of singing.\n\nEveryone knew that mikey loved Music, accept Polka, it was the only music form he hated, unless it was Weird Al Yankovic, that was his seemingly only acception for some odd reason. But anyway, when Mikey hears music he's never heard before he always follows it until he finds the source, sometimes it's led him to someone singing in a shower, and he's brushed it off ignoring it, other times it's led him to a Karaoke bar where he'll sneak in, douse the lights, the emergencies never shined brightly enough on-stage to reveal him to anyone. So he'd go up and indulge in a few songs himself having a little fun before he steps out when the power is fixed, this time though was different.\n\nOn a rooftop of all places, he finally finds the source, a young girl, around his age was singing some Arpeggio scales warming her voice up apparently. He was no conductor but he knew enough about music that when someone sings the scales it was to warm their voice for a performance, he kept hidden while he watched her, she had a MARVELOUS voice, and apparently some animals thought so too as Pidgeons and squirrels gathered up around her.\n\nIt wasn't until stray cats and a few dogs, rats mice and even roaches gathered up that he started thinking this girl was calling these animals to her by singing, he shook his head calling himself a knuckle-head internally, “Nah, no way, Snow White does that not real humans” the girl turns around and Mikey ducks out of sight to avoid being seen as she kneels near the animals looking them over it seems, at their necks and their paws. Was she a Doctor or an animal control person?\n\nShe picks up one cat in particular that had a collar on it's neck, finding it's tag she puts the little critter in a pet carrier and asks the other strays to go back to their homes, and they leave while the more wild animals all flew, scurried or ran off, “You can come out of hiding now Mr. Turtle” Mikey froze keeping ducked low behind the shed he hid near, if leo found out a human saw him he'd get his shell whipped, “I promise I won't hurt you, if I scared you I apologize.” Mikey slowly comes out of hiding but stays in a shadow keeping his form hidden, “Nah, you didn't scare me, just I don't have a good track record with humans meeting me since when they first see my brothers and I, they run away screaming”\n\nthe girl giggles, “don't worry I love animals, it's part of my special power, my name is Lucina Baudin, what's your name?” Mikey was all eye sparkles at hearing 'special power' being the comic book nerd that he is, this only means she has super powers like a super hero to him, “The Name's Michelangelo, but everybody calls me Mikey”\n\nShe smiled at him and walks up to him, reflexively he still recoils until she captures his hands pinning him there with her eyes.
