But the Turtles were not wild turtles, they were mutated ninja turtles raised by a rat that used to be human, and was a native Japanese man. He himself has taught all four of them how to relieve the tension and stress of pent up sexual desire through masturbation before, saying it was perfectly natural so that they wouldn't feel awkward or embarrassed about it with eachother if they had one of those “walks in on him” moments. The Kraang were betting on the fact that the Turtles were the only ones of their kind and would get stupid, sloppy and half-hearted in fighting by seeing four females like themselves. It didn't quite turn out that way, but it didn't turn out the wrong way either. After they were set free from the Kraang's control, Splinter allowed for them to enter the lair and become part of the family. However he was also nervous, not because they were servants of the kraang, but more unsure of how this would effect the Turtles' relationships with one another, especially when he'd seen how each turtle was getting closer and closer to each of the girls. Though now a new worry had presented itself to Master Splinter; the Turtles were all so close to one another before they'd met these girls, and there was clearly no doubt in his mind they would only get closer as they build their relationships with the sister turtles. However 7 months following meeting them was when the Brothers had all become intimate with the girls. Splinter sighs heavily and looks at his sons, “Boys, I know and understand why you are hesitant to telling the girls about your personal relationships with one another, in human society it's not what could be perceived as acceptable for all of you to be intimate with one another, let alone acceptable by those that you have as lovers.” the Turtles all lower their heads preparing for him to tell them to keep it secret, “However....” they lift their heads in semi-shock, “I know from personal experience, being a married man once before, that the foundation of a strong relationship and bond, are made of four primary pillars; trust, understanding, love and Acceptance. You must first show that you trust the girls enough that they will understand what is between all of you, Love all of you the same way you love them and eachother, and accept that what you have is a real thing, and only brings all of you closer as a family.”\n\n\tAs usual, his advice was semi-vague and deep in what was being said.
