Not two aspects one might expect from monsters.\"\n\n \"Well, Deboss needs to understand Mobian emotions so he can know how to destroy the world without problems!\" Candelira giggles. \"The three strongest are rage, sadness, and joy!\"\n\n Cinder nods, \"Know thy enemy... However... Ruin has given me a mission to test you.\"\n\n She nods, and pulls out two of her batteries, \"Then tell me where I can charge these with Deboss. I will quickly crush any doubts about myself.\"\n\n \"No. Brave is an asset we need now.\" Dragold states. \"I will send a monster into the city to lure the Rangers out of their Spirit Base. We will go in, and take their powers from the inside.\"\n\n Cinder nods, \"Which is why half of my batteries are being left charged with Brave. These two I wish to charge with Hate for when my time comes to crush the Rangers.\"\n\n \"Very well. Candelira, take her batteries and give them to Ruin to charge. We will go now, while they are still in shock and deliciously irritated with you.\" Dragold smirks.\n\nCandelira nods and quickly comes forward, holding out her hands.\n\n Cinder hands them to her, \"I look forward to working with you.\"\n\nShe turns to Luckerio, \"And all you need to know about me is that I never hold back when I'm hell-bent on my goal.\"\n\n \"Great, another D...\" She murmurs, kicking the ground.\n\nDragold turns to the rage podium. \"I need a monster of Rage!\" He touches the tower.\n\n Cinder watches curiously as she waits for Candelira to return with her batteries.\n\nHe creates a monster that looks like a waffle iron or something. \"This will make them even more irritated!\" Dragold smirks. \"I will turn them against each other!\"\n\n \"With waffles?\" Cinder sounds dubious, \"Well... I suppose it will serve its purpose as a decoy at any rate.\"\n\n \"It can do this.\" He motions for a Parameeshia to come over, and the monster slams its hands on the minion's face, turning it into a copy of Deathryuger.\n\n\"Impressive.\" It gets sliced by a yellow and blue boomerang with tooth designs on it and a large ruby on it, and D catches it. \"Nowhere as strong as the original, though.\" He states.\n\n Cinder nods, \"That will indeed be useful.\"\n\n \"Indeed.\" He smirks. \"Now, go!\"\n\nThe monster bows and goes with some Parameeshia.\n \nCinder cracks one fist, and then cracks her neck. \"Alright... Showtime.\"\n\n \"Indeed...\" Dragold smirks and pulls a black and gold Beast Battery from his sleeve. \"...It is.\"\n\n...\n\n An ominous wind blows past Torin, waving his mustache.\n\n \"Dragold is attacking the city!\" He shouts.\n\n\"Let's go, Rangers!\" Shadow grabs a black Beast Battery and unholsters his gun.\n\n Conner, still skeptical, pulls out his new red battery, \"Alright guys... READY?!\"\n\n \"Ready! Brave In!\" All of them, including Shadow, activates the batteries and puts them in their guns.\n\n\"Kyoryu Change!\" They do the dance and pull the triggers, and Conner becomes the Red Ranger as Shadow becomes the Black Ranger.\n\n Conner feels a twinge in the back of his head, but ignores it as they head through the portal.\n\nFifteen minutes later it flashes... Cinder standing on it as she holsters her gun.\n\n Dragold is next to her, and he looks around. \"Hmph, I expected something more heavily defended. How irritating.\"\n\n\"Cinder! Dragold!\" Torin slashes them, landing and brandishing his Feather Edge. \"Why are you here?!\"\n\n Cinder bows his head at Torin slightly, and suddenly Torin's sword becomes a snake. The viper wraps around Torin's wrist, biting into his opposite hand.\n\nTo Dragold, and Cinder however it appears as if Torin is fighting at something that isn't there. \n\n\"Chi technique of illusion,\" Cinder explains to him quietly. \"Even if he figures it out, he can't break it because my Chi is influencing the illusion.\" She heads to the charging station, and starts collecting handfuls of the batteries.\n\n She's blown into a wall by a blue force of energy.\n\nThe Cyan Beast Battery glows and floats up, becoming Ramerez. He looks pained. \"Sorry Miss Red... But why?! Why are you doing this?!\"\n\n Inside her helmet she flinches, and then she gets to her feet. \"Because I belong among monsters. I appreciate you for bringing a shred of happiness to me... But this world needs to try again. Deboss destroys it, and even if it takes several thousand years it will be reborn.\"\n\n \"You said... that if you faced me on the battlefield, you will forget all my kindness.\" He looks even more miserable. But then his face hardens, startling even her, before he raises up his battery and hisses, \"But this spot will be no battlefield if I have anything to say about it! This fight will be to prove the passion of humanity, even to monsters like you. To save monsters from themselves, even when they think they don't need, or deserve it!\"\n\nDragold shoots lightning at him. \"Oh no you don't.\"\n\nThe beams shoot right past him as he activates his Beast Battery. \"Brave In!\" He shouts before throwing his arm up. \"Spirit Ranger, fire!\" The Bravery inside the battery shoots up as Ankydon, and morphs him just like the other Rangers. Unlike them however, his larger body thins inside the costume, making him muscular and fit. He slams the ground, making it shake, before taking a stance and growling, \"The Steel Brave! Kyoryu Cyan!\"\n\n Cinder doesn't turn her head, but instead says, \"Dragold, Virusun melted my outfit under this Ranger form. Can you please occupy this Spirit Ranger while I remorph?\"\n\n \"Absolutely!\" He smirks happily, drawing his sword.\n\nRamerez makes no motion, standing stock still in front of the battery charger, like a stone wall.\n\n Cinder steps around a stone pillar out of sight, and draws a battery from her belt charged by Ruin. \"Hate IN!\"\n\nShe pulls the Brave battery out of her revolver, and as she turns Mobian she inserts her Hate Battery. As she spins the ammo reel on it she can feel the familiar energy of morphing, but now more intense. Fire spirals from her hand across her body, leaving a new Ranger Form in its wake. Sharp, diamond-shaped scales adorn each of her knuckles, elbows, and knees. The spikes on her shoulder guard are now longer, wickedly curved, and serrated. The visor of her helmet is thinner now, like sunglasses almost, and the teeth decorating it are now more fanglike. A chest plate stylishly covers her torso, and a matching plate covers her pelvic region. Short gold spikes adorn the edges of her forearms, and her calves. Completing her new makeover is three ridges on her helmet like the ones on Gabutyra's head.\n\nHer gun has metamorphosised as well. It now resembles a thinner version of Gabutyra's head with sharper teeth. In the back of the weapon is the typical handle, and trigger for a gun. \n\n\"So now I have a rifle,\" she notes as she steps from around the pillar, her gun propped on her unarmored shoulder.\n\n Ramerez slowly starts shaking before growling, \"Torin, call the other Rangers back.\" There's a catch in his voice as he slowly takes a fighting stance. \"We've lost Cinder.\"\n\n Cinder drops her rifle into an aiming position at her torso, and shoots the cyan ranger in the gut, blasting him back against the charging station before he hits the ground.\n\nShe steps around him as she collects the other batteries, \"Torin cannot hear you. He has his own problems to deal with... Let's go Dragold.\" She leads him back to the portal with her bag of stolen batteries, and then shoots it.\n\nAs she vanishes the illusion holding Torin abruptly vanishes, letting him see what was wrought. The charging station is depressingly empty... Save for two batteries. One for Gabutyra, and the other for the Kentospiker.\n\n Ramerez sits up, the shots more surprising him than hurting him. He stares blankly at the teleporter before he trembles a little bit.\n\n\"Ramerez... are you...?\" Torin asks hesitantly.\n\nHe jumps back when Ramerez slams the ground twice as hard as before, roaring angrily before burying his face in his hands and silently weeping.\n\nTorin turns away slowly, stating, \"Rangers... Red came and took all the Zyudenchi. The ones you have are all that's left.\"\n\n “[i]Not all,[/i]” Mina says, who had been monitoring through her hidden cameras. “[i]Shadow left his violet battery.[/i]”\n\n \"The point is... we're in trouble.\" Torin frowns.\n\n...\n\n\"Roger. We'll come back after we find and defeat this monster.\" Shadow states.\n\n Suddenly all of them get shot in the chest. Up on a train car Cinder stands with Dragold.\n\n\"Looks like you have two to deal with already,\" she says as she takes aim once again.\n\n Shadow growls and swipes the barrel. \"Armed On!\" He charges at her, using his Para-Shot as a shield as he charges at her and fires with his blaster.\n\n She dashes sideways, and only his eyes which are used to letting him see objects moving at hyper speed can keep up with her. Suddenly she flicks a switch on the side of her gun which opens the jaw on the rifle. The lower jaw extends into a shaft as a blade unfolds from the upper jaw, effectively turning her rifle into a scythe.\n\n Shadow scowls before unsheathing his sword, loading his last black Beast Battery into it.\n\n[i]Gaburincho! Parasagun! Parasagun![/i]\n\n She pulls back the cocking lever on the shaft of her scythe, opening in a chamber where she loads a battery.\n\n[i]Gaburincho! Gabutyra! Parasagun![/i]\n\nEthan jerks, \"How did she get THAT?!\"\n\n\"Torin called, she stole all the charging batteries.\" Shadow growls.\n\n She spins the scythe over her shoulder, and fires at Shadow in mid-swing.\n\n Shadow blocks it with his Parashot and fires at her, slowly walking forward before blurring out.\n\n They vanish from sight at the same time, a pair of invisible forces clashing in showers of sparks. Seconds later they appear with blades locked.\n\n\"Thank you for trusting me,\" Cinder whispers to him before pressing her attack. \"Check the station.\"\n \n\"I know you wouldn't turn.\" He states with a subtle nod, concentrating and pushing her back. \"This will put a damper on our ability to defend the city, I hope you know.\"\n\n \"Hope is not lost... Just be brave.\"\n\n \"Hmph.\" He states, breaking the deadlock with a slash of his Parashot.\n\nSuddenly, Dragold slashes Shadow from behind, and Shadow cries out, his Dino Charger flying into the air. Dragold laughs evilly, catching the blaster.\n\nShadow growls and struggles to his feet, glaring.\n\nDragold smirks and ejects Shadow's battery, forcing the hedgehog to demorph. Shadow drops to a knee, hissing as his quills bristle dangerously.\n\n Conner drops to one knee, holding his head, \"No... Please!\" Then his range form shatters as his Dino Charger clatters to the ground, smoking with heat.\n\n Ethan covers Conner with his shield. \"What's wrong?!\"\n\n \"Gabutyra rejected him,\" Cinder explains. \"One Zord cannot give energy to sustain two rangers.\"\n\n \"And now we're down to three Rangers... against two.\" Dragold smirks, reaching into his sleeve and pulling out a black and gold battery marked with the number 6.\n\n\"Everyone, get back!\" Torin shouts from their communicators. \"That's the battery of Pterathundron!\"\n\n Conner grits his teeth, \"We can't run. If we run now we'll never stop.\"\n\n \"Here.\" Shadow tosses Conner his battery before standing with a growl.\n\n\"Deboss In!\" Dragold activates the battery, smirking as he loads it into the gun. \"Kyoryu Change.\" He spins the barrel, holding the gun in his right hand and doing a mirror version of the Ranger dance. \"Fire!\" He pulls the trigger, firing Shadow at point blank range.\n\nShadow cries out, flying into a building.\n\nThe Pteradon head flies before biting into Dragold, his outfit severely different from the other Rangers. His design across his chest went down from his left shoulder, plus it was that of a toothed Pteradactyl. He had shoulderpads on both of his shoulders, and tiny wings on his back. Finally, his outfit was black with a gold visor and stripe between the Pteradon mouth. \n\n\"The Thundering Deboss, Kyoryu Gold.\" He chuckles menacingly.\n\n Cinder whirls her scythe, and poses beside him, \"And the Raging Deboss, Kyoryu Crimson!\"\n\n \"I'm fucking tired of this.\" The entire building Shadow was thrown into collapses, and he steps out in Chaos mode. He activates his Zeonizers and shouts, \"It's Morphin' Time!\"\n\n\"You don't stand a chance with your antiquated power.\" Dragold sniffs, shooting lighting at Shadow.\n\nShadow blocks it as he brings a hand up, then the other. He glows with his Chaos form's power.\n\nConner snatches up his Dino Charger. \"Brave In!\" He activates the battery that Shadow tossed him. \"Kyoryu Change!\" He quickly does the dance in his crouched position, morphing quickly into Kyoryu Black.\n\n Cinder pulls an ammo clip out of her rifle, and holds up a black, blue, green, and pink battery between her fingers. \"Hate IN!\" She presses all the ridges at once, loading them into the clip simultaneously. Then she loads it into her scythe she cocks it, and fires upwards. All four of the batteries fire from the head of her scythe, expanding as they go flying in different directions.\n\n \"No!\" Shadow shouts, shooting after them like a rocket.\n\nDragold jumps after him, and slashes Shadow back to the ground. \"Nice try!  "Thanks. Now we have some dirt on her, at least. She can't expose our secrets... or we'll expose this." He smirks and slips into his computer port.

Shadow pauses in his typing. "Conner, come here."

 Conner walks over to Shadow as Kira looks curiously over Ethan's shoulder.

 Ethan starts downloading the file, opening the video to view it as well.

Shadow hands him Gabutyra's Beast Battery. "We can't form the Megazord without Gabutyra. Fortunately, I made extras of all the batteries for emergencies. In Red Ranger's absence, you will be the Red Ranger instead."

 Conner takes it hesitantly, "...But Gabutyra didn't choose me. How do you know he'll listen to me, and not her?"

 "He chose her, yes. But he will never work for Deboss willingly. You have experience with controlling the Tyrannosaurus Zord, he should find you a good replacement until we convince her to come back." Shadow says. "In the meantime... you're the Red Ranger." He takes Parasagun's battery. "And I guess I'm back again, in black."

 Conner sighs, "What about our old Tyranno, Ptera, and Tricera Zords? Back when we were Dino Thunder?"

 "Precisely. Those powers are long gone, along with Mesagog. The only remnants are your civilian powers." He says with a frown.

Conner holds the battery sadly, "I don't think it will work. Don't you have a Zord, and new Ranger form too?"

 "Ranger form, yes. Zord, no. Conner, we need the full team. You can be Red, or I can. I feel you've done a good job as Red Ranger before, and I know you'll do good until she comes back." Shadow says seriously.

 Ethan whirls, "Excuse me?! Comes back?! That would imply that she isn't a backstabbing bitch, and that if she did come back we'd actually let her be one of us again."

 "Green Ranger, evil." Shadow states, pointing to himself. "White Ranger, evil." He points to Trent. "Forgiveness is a double edged sword."

 "That's different," Ethan argues. "You two were under mind control. With this bitch it's hard to believe that would work."

Trent blinks, "She used her gun."

 "I am the team leader." Shadow states harshly. "You will follow my orders. She may very well be gone. Therefore, we need a Red Ranger to take her place. Gabutyra may not like it, but it's the option I'm taking. If she comes back, I will talk to her and see what happened. Any questions?"

 "Yeah," Trent says slowly. "Why would she use her gun? In our past battles she seemed pretty adamant about just using her sword."

 Shadow pauses with a frown. "...To her, guns are a sign of cowardice. Take this info however you see fit." He turns to Conner and drops Gabutyra's battery into his hand. "If you don't want it, give it back." He states, taking his seat again and going back to typing in silence.

 Conner looks at it, and then turns. Then his eyes just about pop out of his head when he looks at the screen of Ethan's computer.

 Ethan blinks at Conner's expression and turns back to his computer, his jaw dropping as his eyes open wide. "Holy... She's hot!"

 Trent does his best not to look, especially since he knows what he's seen in it already.

 "Damn... now I'm sad she left." Ethan pouts.

Conner nods, "Well, Shadow seems to think that she'll come back..."

 Kira smacks all of them with a huff. "Pervs. Quit looking at her."

Trent rubs the back of his head, "I wasn't looking!"

 "I know you were thinking about it, though." She scowls.

Ethan pouts and closes the program. "I'll watch it later..."

"I'll join you then." Conner whispers.

Kira cuffs both of them with a growl.

 ...

Cinder walks to the Deboss main room, only Luckerio, and Candelira are present.

"You two, do you have a minute?"

 Luckerio moves away distrustfully as Candelira tilts her head.

"Sure, what is it?" Candelira asks curiously.

 "You two interest me," Cinder states. "Love, and fun... Not two aspects one might expect from monsters."

 "Well, Deboss needs to understand Mobian emotions so he can know how to destroy the world without problems!" Candelira giggles. "The three strongest are rage, sadness, and joy!"

 Cinder nods, "Know thy enemy... Makes sense, thank you."

 Luckerio moves forward. "Hey, wait a second! We know you're the Red Ranger, but don't we deserve knowing who you are underneath the suit? Even D had to show who he really was!"

 Cinder ignores her as she inspects the pillars, "There is still one thing I don't understand. Why would you work for Deboss? Harbingers of love, and fun should have no problem with society."

 "We're monsters though! They wouldn't accept us." Candelira says sadly.

"Plus, they work for Deboss. If they leave, Ruin would be very irritated." Dragold growls, walking in.

"Ah! Dragold! Unlucky..." Luckerio shies away a little.

 Cinder turns to him, "Just attempting to search for Defectors. Those unhappy with their lot here would be more trusting towards a new recruit."

 "We must trust because it is the will of Deboss." He growls. "I would rather crush you and be done with it. However... Ruin has given me a mission to test you."

 She nods, and pulls out two of her batteries, "Then tell me where I can charge these with Deboss. I will quickly crush any doubts about myself."

 "No. Brave is an asset we need now." Dragold states. "I will send a monster into the city to lure the Rangers out of their Spirit Base. We will go in, and take their powers from the inside."

 Cinder nods, "Which is why half of my batteries are being left charged with Brave. These two I wish to charge with Hate for when my time comes to crush the Rangers."

 "Very well. Candelira, take her batteries and give them to Ruin to charge. We will go now, while they are still in shock and deliciously irritated with you." Dragold smirks.

Candelira nods and quickly comes forward, holding out her hands.

 Cinder hands them to her, "I look forward to working with you."

She turns to Luckerio, "And all you need to know about me is that I never hold back when I'm hell-bent on my goal."

 "Great, another D..." She murmurs, kicking the ground.

Dragold turns to the rage podium. "I need a monster of Rage!" He touches the tower.

 Cinder watches curiously as she waits for Candelira to return with her batteries.

He creates a monster that looks like a waffle iron or something. "This will make them even more irritated!" Dragold smirks. "I will turn them against each other!"

 "With waffles?" Cinder sounds dubious, "Well... I suppose it will serve its purpose as a decoy at any rate."

 "It can do this." He motions for a Parameeshia to come over, and the monster slams its hands on the minion's face, turning it into a copy of Deathryuger.

"Impressive." It gets sliced by a yellow and blue boomerang with tooth designs on it and a large ruby on it, and D catches it. "Nowhere as strong as the original, though." He states.

 Cinder nods, "That will indeed be useful."

 "Indeed." He smirks. "Now, go!"

The monster bows and goes with some Parameeshia.
 
Cinder cracks one fist, and then cracks her neck. "Alright... Showtime."

 "Indeed..." Dragold smirks and pulls a black and gold Beast Battery from his sleeve. "...It is."

 An ominous wind blows past Torin, waving his mustache.

 "Dragold is attacking the city!" He shouts.

"Let's go, Rangers!" Shadow grabs a black Beast Battery and unholsters his gun.

 Conner, still skeptical, pulls out his new red battery, "Alright guys... READY?!"

 "Ready! Brave In!" All of them, including Shadow, activates the batteries and puts them in their guns.

"Kyoryu Change!" They do the dance and pull the triggers, and Conner becomes the Red Ranger as Shadow becomes the Black Ranger.

 Conner feels a twinge in the back of his head, but ignores it as they head through the portal.

Fifteen minutes later it flashes... Cinder standing on it as she holsters her gun.

 Dragold is next to her, and he looks around. "Hmph, I expected something more heavily defended. How irritating."

"Cinder! Dragold!" Torin slashes them, landing and brandishing his Feather Edge. "Why are you here?!"

 Cinder bows his head at Torin slightly, and suddenly Torin's sword becomes a snake. The viper wraps around Torin's wrist, biting into his opposite hand.

To Dragold, and Cinder however it appears as if Torin is fighting at something that isn't there.

"Chi technique of illusion," Cinder explains to him quietly. "Even if he figures it out, he can't break it because my Chi is influencing the illusion." She heads to the charging station, and starts collecting handfuls of the batteries.

 She's blown into a wall by a blue force of energy.

The Cyan Beast Battery glows and floats up, becoming Ramerez. He looks pained. "Sorry Miss Red... But why?! Why are you doing this?!"

 Inside her helmet she flinches, and then she gets to her feet. "Because I belong among monsters. I appreciate you for bringing a shred of happiness to me... But this world needs to try again. Deboss destroys it, and even if it takes several thousand years it will be reborn."

 "You said... that if you faced me on the battlefield, you will forget all my kindness." He looks even more miserable. But then his face hardens, startling even her, before he raises up his battery and hisses, "But this spot will be no battlefield if I have anything to say about it! This fight will be to prove the passion of humanity, even to monsters like you. To save monsters from themselves, even when they think they don't need, or deserve it!"

Dragold shoots lightning at him. "Oh no you don't."

The beams shoot right past him as he activates his Beast Battery. "Brave In!" He shouts before throwing his arm up. "Spirit Ranger, fire!" The Bravery inside the battery shoots up as Ankydon, and morphs him just like the other Rangers. Unlike them however, his larger body thins inside the costume, making him muscular and fit. He slams the ground, making it shake, before taking a stance and growling, "The Steel Brave! Kyoryu Cyan!"

 Cinder doesn't turn her head, but instead says, "Dragold, Virusun melted my outfit under this Ranger form. Can you please occupy this Spirit Ranger while I remorph?"

 "Absolutely!" He smirks happily, drawing his sword.

Ramerez makes no motion, standing stock still in front of the battery charger, like a stone wall.

 Cinder steps around a stone pillar out of sight, and draws a battery from her belt charged by Ruin. "Hate IN!"

She pulls the Brave battery out of her revolver, and as she turns Mobian she inserts her Hate Battery. As she spins the ammo reel on it she can feel the familiar energy of morphing, but now more intense. Fire spirals from her hand across her body, leaving a new Ranger Form in its wake. Sharp, diamond-shaped scales adorn each of her knuckles, elbows, and knees. The spikes on her shoulder guard are now longer, wickedly curved, and serrated. The visor of her helmet is thinner now, like sunglasses almost, and the teeth decorating it are now more fanglike. A chest plate stylishly covers her torso, and a matching plate covers her pelvic region. Short gold spikes adorn the edges of her forearms, and her calves. Completing her new makeover is three ridges on her helmet like the ones on Gabutyra's head.

Her gun has metamorphosised as well. It now resembles a thinner version of Gabutyra's head with sharper teeth. In the back of the weapon is the typical handle, and trigger for a gun.

"So now I have a rifle," she notes as she steps from around the pillar, her gun propped on her unarmored shoulder.

 Ramerez slowly starts shaking before growling, "Torin, call the other Rangers back." There's a catch in his voice as he slowly takes a fighting stance. "We've lost Cinder."

 Cinder drops her rifle into an aiming position at her torso, and shoots the cyan ranger in the gut, blasting him back against the charging station before he hits the ground.

She steps around him as she collects the other batteries, "Torin cannot hear you. He has his own problems to deal with... Let's go Dragold." She leads him back to the portal with her bag of stolen batteries, and then shoots it.

As she vanishes the illusion holding Torin abruptly vanishes, letting him see what was wrought. The charging station is depressingly empty... Save for two batteries. One for Gabutyra, and the other for the Kentospiker.

 Ramerez sits up, the shots more surprising him than hurting him. He stares blankly at the teleporter before he trembles a little bit.

"Ramerez... are you...?" Torin asks hesitantly.

He jumps back when Ramerez slams the ground twice as hard as before, roaring angrily before burying his face in his hands and silently weeping.

Torin turns away slowly, stating, "Rangers... Red came and took all the Zyudenchi. The ones you have are all that's left."

 “Not all,” Mina says, who had been monitoring through her hidden cameras. “Shadow left his violet battery.”

 "The point is... we're in trouble." Torin frowns.

...

"Roger. We'll come back after we find and defeat this monster." Shadow states.

 Suddenly all of them get shot in the chest. Up on a train car Cinder stands with Dragold.

"Looks like you have two to deal with already," she says as she takes aim once again.

 Shadow growls and swipes the barrel. "Armed On!" He charges at her, using his Para-Shot as a shield as he charges at her and fires with his blaster.

 She dashes sideways, and only his eyes which are used to letting him see objects moving at hyper speed can keep up with her. Suddenly she flicks a switch on the side of her gun which opens the jaw on the rifle. The lower jaw extends into a shaft as a blade unfolds from the upper jaw, effectively turning her rifle into a scythe.

 Shadow scowls before unsheathing his sword, loading his last black Beast Battery into it.

Gaburincho! Parasagun! Parasagun!

 She pulls back the cocking lever on the shaft of her scythe, opening in a chamber where she loads a battery.

Gaburincho! Gabutyra! Parasagun!

Ethan jerks, "How did she get THAT?!"

"Torin called, she stole all the charging batteries." Shadow growls.

 She spins the scythe over her shoulder, and fires at Shadow in mid-swing.

 Shadow blocks it with his Parashot and fires at her, slowly walking forward before blurring out.

 They vanish from sight at the same time, a pair of invisible forces clashing in showers of sparks. Seconds later they appear with blades locked.

"Thank you for trusting me," Cinder whispers to him before pressing her attack. "Check the station."
 
"I know you wouldn't turn." He states with a subtle nod, concentrating and pushing her back. "This will put a damper on our ability to defend the city, I hope you know."

 "Hope is not lost... Just be brave."

 "Hmph." He states, breaking the deadlock with a slash of his Parashot.

Suddenly, Dragold slashes Shadow from behind, and Shadow cries out, his Dino Charger flying into the air. Dragold laughs evilly, catching the blaster.

Shadow growls and struggles to his feet, glaring.

Dragold smirks and ejects Shadow's battery, forcing the hedgehog to demorph. Shadow drops to a knee, hissing as his quills bristle dangerously.

 Conner drops to one knee, holding his head, "No... Please!" Then his range form shatters as his Dino Charger clatters to the ground, smoking with heat.

 Ethan covers Conner with his shield. "What's wrong?!"

 "Gabutyra rejected him," Cinder explains. "One Zord cannot give energy to sustain two rangers."

 "And now we're down to three Rangers... against two." Dragold smirks, reaching into his sleeve and pulling out a black and gold battery marked with the number 6.

"Everyone, get back!" Torin shouts from their communicators. "That's the battery of Pterathundron!"

 Conner grits his teeth, "We can't run. If we run now we'll never stop."

 "Here." Shadow tosses Conner his battery before standing with a growl.

"Deboss In!" Dragold activates the battery, smirking as he loads it into the gun. "Kyoryu Change." He spins the barrel, holding the gun in his right hand and doing a mirror version of the Ranger dance. "Fire!" He pulls the trigger, firing Shadow at point blank range.

Shadow cries out, flying into a building.

The Pteradon head flies before biting into Dragold, his outfit severely different from the other Rangers. His design across his chest went down from his left shoulder, plus it was that of a toothed Pteradactyl. He had shoulderpads on both of his shoulders, and tiny wings on his back. Finally, his outfit was black with a gold visor and stripe between the Pteradon mouth.

"The Thundering Deboss, Kyoryu Gold." He chuckles menacingly.

 Cinder whirls her scythe, and poses beside him, "And the Raging Deboss, Kyoryu Crimson!"

 "I'm fucking tired of this." The entire building Shadow was thrown into collapses, and he steps out in Chaos mode. He activates his Zeonizers and shouts, "It's Morphin' Time!"

"You don't stand a chance with your antiquated power." Dragold sniffs, shooting lighting at Shadow.

Shadow blocks it as he brings a hand up, then the other. He brings his hands together and connects the Morphers. "Zeo Ranger Five, Red!" He shouts, morphing into the Red Zeo Ranger. He glows with his Chaos form's power.

 They glance at each other, utterly confused, but they hand over their weapons to Shadow.

 He takes them and walks to the portal. He glances back. "Access is now just between my lab and the Spirit Base. We don't need anyone coming in when we're defenseless." He teleports to his lab.

 Kira sighs, "well that's good at least... Hey, did we ever figure out who she was from that video Ethan? We could use any edge right about now."

 "No... Just that she's super hot. I could run voice recognition software..." He muses.

 "...It's Cinder," Trent sighs. "That woman we met at the park, and the sweet shop. Shadow recolored the video, and made me promise not to say anything."

Conner, Ethan, and Kira all drop their jaws.

"Cinder?! That explains how she knew the blaster! I knew it!" Kira punches her fist with a scowl. "Earlier today when she took me over for training, she said she knew I was a Ranger!"

Conner holds his head, "And you've heard the stories about her, and her students. We're supposed to beat Deboss, and an evil that?"

"Somehow. But we will, because we have to!" Kira says determinedly.

Ethan nods, "That's right, we have to get our Zords back. All that power in the hands of evil? I don't think so!"

"Rangers, come to my lab. You'll want to see this."
 
They nod, and then pause...

Conner clears his throat, "And... How are we supposed to use the portal without our guns exactly...?"

 "Stand on the damn portal generator, duh." Shadow states.

 Ethan shrugs, and steps on with the others, "Whatever you say, beam us up Scotty!"

 They get warped to Shadow's lab, where on a podium is a black smoking meteorite with five familiar black and white "dead" morphers circling around it.

 Trent walks slowly up to it, "Are those...?"

 "They are." Shadow nods. "Our old Dinothunder morphers."

 Conner lifts a hand towards them, "You said they were destroyed."

 "They were. These are powerless copies. This meteorite was the one your Dino Gems came from. I believe with the proper power source, we can duplicate the Dino Gems' powers." Shadow explains.

 Trent looks down at his Veloslash Beast Battery, "...What are you suggesting?"

 "Brave isn't strong enough to sustain them forever, like before." Shadow states. "But my Zeonizers are." He makes them appear. "I've held on to my Zeo Crystal since almost the beginning. It has been the one Ranger power I could always fall back on. But I believe this is what my Zeo Crystal has stuck around for."

 Kira blinks, "You would give up your Zeo Crystal... To sustain our Dino Gems for good?"

Conner stares at one of them in the center, and slowly puts his hand on it. It feels warm under his hand... Alive.

 "Yes. It is time to share the gift Zordon gave to me." Shadow nods, taking off his Zeonizers and placing them on the meteorite. "Hold your arms out, form a circle around the meteor." He stands in front of the Brachio Morpher.

One by one they take their places in front of their former morphers, and extend their arms towards one another until their fingertips touch.

 "Zero Crystal, Zordon lent me your power in a time of great need. Now, I must ask of you the same thing. Grant us five warriors your strength we need to combat evil once again!"

The Zeonizers glow and turn into the star-shaped Zeo Crystal before shooting a beam into the meteorite. The meteorite glows and shoots into the five morphers, bringing the Dinothunder powers to life once more.

 One by one all the Rangers smile as their minds are filled with visions of their Dino Thunder Zords, just as they had when they first were chosen by the Dino Gems. Now here they are once again.

The Zeo Crystal turns back into Shadow's Zeonizers before returning to his wrists and disappearing.

They take their morphers from the meteorite, and strap them to their wrists. Conner nods, "Alright guys... Time to take Cinder down a few notches."
