A Snug Hike CRACK! CRUNCH! Leaves and twigs were being crushed under Titus’ paws as he ascended the forest trail. Summer had just begun and now that the rainy season was over, there was finally a chance to go out and explore. Nature soothed the enlightened wolf. Small, feral birds sang their melodies, paw tracks from other anthros and ferals dotted the dirt path, the smell of fresh dew was still in the air, and the verdant greens of oaks, pines, grass, birch, maples, and elms combined with woody browns of bark, acorns, and dirt under a cloudless blue sky. The worn dirt road was winding through the thickets with the only traces of civilization being signs that point the direction hikers are meant to take. Cheer in every step, Titus continued onward, lugging a large backpack with food, water, a tent, a phone he could use for emergencies, and other camping equipment. He wasn’t too concerned about more clothes. A t-shirt and shorts were all that was necessary. His fur would keep him covered. Foliage began to cover the sky as Titus followed the signs. Thinking to himself and adjusting his wide-framed glasses, he began to wonder, “Hmmm… When should I have lunch? Doesn’t seem early enough to camp yet…Might just need to stop a bit for some R&R.” Concentrating was a hard task as is. It was that time of the month for the wolf, and he could smell it. Shaking his head to and fro did little to clear his mind. Only when he ran snout first into a tree did he come back to reality. “Unf!” he exhaled. Gingerly rubbing his nose, he scanned his environment… “I left the trail, didn’t I?” No matter where his gaze fell, he didn’t see any signs of the trail. Before anxiety could overcome him, a gale started rustling the trees and ruffling his fluff. Nature’s sigh seemed to blow his worry away. Pressing his fists together, Titus grinned and thought, “It’ll be fine. Everything will be perfectly fine. I wasn’t distracted THAT long. Probably a couple minutes of retracing my steps.” Minutes gave way to hours as the afternoon sun was starting to leave the horizon. At least, that’s what Titus imagined. Golden glow replaced the brilliant blue and he hadn’t even had lunch yet. Exasperated, he followed what light he had left to a clearing. “At least there’s a good place to settle tonight” Titus grumbled mentally. It was a glade with several feet of space to pitch a tent, dotted with plenty of loose branches to use for kindling and a patch of clear dirt to safely light a fire. Titus immediately felt welcome in the clearing. Dropping his pack in the center, he rummaged about in it until he found his first supply of rations, a corned beef sandwich. Additionally, he fetched his first bottle of water and a small plastic sheet he could safely eat off. Once he finished eating, it was almost dusk. Gold sky mixed with red and violet, and Titus rolled his eyes. That tent needed to be pitched yesterday. Making certain to hide any food scraps and being certain to seal the pack to stop any smells from attracting ferals. Getting a mallet, rods, and the fabric he set to work…until he heard branches snapping from the north. Turning to source of the sound, Titus squinted. Darkness was obscuring everything. “Probably just a fox feral. Maybe owl ferals are waking now.” Fear pushed aside, Titus began to breathe slowly and deeply as he concentrated on the task at paw. Not going to be his finest work, but if he had shelter tonight, he’d be happy. More rustling came from the trees. This time from behind him. As Titus turned around to check he felt his chest constrict. Arms and legs were being pinned and air was being forced out. Using what faint light remained, Titus saw…an enlightened snake? Slender, sharp features were visible in the twilight. Gray scales and white sclera broken up by black pupils. Anacondas would be envious of how long and girthy this noodle was. Around 40 feet in length and nearly 2 feet in width. The vice grip showed off the strong muscles common in constrictors. Physiologically, the only significant difference were two functional, muscular arms extending out of his torso. A gentle, endearing voice came from the behemoth snake. “Good evening” he said in a hushed voice, “Name’s Kyain. Pleasure to meet you.” Wheezing was all Titus could manage. Exhaling was easy enough. Inhaling even a gram of air might’ve been easier on Mt. Everest. Raspy, weak whimpers were all Titus could manage. Without tools, help, or even his limbs there was little to be done. Strain began to show on Titus’ face. His muscles, bones, and his mind wouldn’t function at this rate. Spots started to cloud his vision. Fear gave way to resignment. Death seemed to be inevitable… Then, his breathing returned. He began to gasp, swallowing all the air he could manage. Thankfully, the black discs started to disappear, his vision restored. Coughing and spitting, he felt life flow through him again. The ordeal left him exhausted though. Moving was impossible. Utilizing every modicum of strength remaining, he lifted his head up to see Kyain’s snout. “Wh…why?” Gracefully, the reptilian leaned in. Bewilderment covered his face, one hand scratching the top of his scalp. Squinting hard, he began extending his forked tongue out. The Jacobson’s organ confirmed what he was suspecting. The wolf was in heat. A gentle smile replaced the confusion he showed as he used his coils to pull Titus close. Rubbing his hands through the fluff on Titus’ crown he cooed, “Seems like you’ve got something that’s bothering you. I’d be happy to help, cutie.” Apprehension broke across Titus’ face. “Bothering me? What was he after?” Switching from thoughts to words, he spoke, “Ti…Titus is… my name. What…are you talking…about?” Breathing starting to slow, he relaxed in the coils of his captor. While not ideal, it was better than a scaly corset. The petting felt nice, at least. Was it an attempt to try and make it up to the wolf, or was the snake trying to lull him into relaxing so he wouldn’t be able to escape? “Ooooooh. That’s a cute name. As for your issue, I can smell that you’re not a typical male. There’s the smell of heat coming from you~” Adjusting his tail, Kyain slipped the tip up Titus’ shorts. Snaking up the furry thighs, Kyain wormed past the undergarments and could feel it. Hidden underneath layers of cloth, the wolf had a fertile mound. The sudden shivers that rocked his prey, along with a lewd moan confirmed this. Jackpot. Titus was perplexed. One minute, the snake wanted food, now he’s looking for a bed partner? “Why would I trust you?” No matter how good the tail rubbing his pussy felt, the hostile introduction he received made him skeptical as to Kyain’s objective. Was there something insidious here, was he being fickle, or was there genuine desire for him? Nodding, Kyain seemed to sense Titus’ disbelief. Carefully balancing himself, he used the scales on his belly to scoot forward. The rectilinear motion allowed him to keep his prey coiled, after all. With uncanny dexterity, he bent over and began to assemble Titus’ tent for him. Not meeting Titus’ gaze, he assured, “I got you. I got you. Maybe this will perk you up.” Thanks to his immense size, Kyain was able to wrap around the tent with ease, casually setting up the poles and affixing the cables into the earth. Lifting his torso to the sky, he raised his arms and gestured to the tent. Repeatedly. Tilting his head as though he was still a puppy, Titus just stared. Moments passed by. Neither spoke a word. Crickets and cicadas were the only things that broke the silence. Hoots from an owl somewhere in the dusk were the only other company they had. Titus could feel himself move. Slowly, he started spinning. Rotation after dizzying rotation he spun, his arms and legs no longer pressed close. Face and paws landing softly in grass, he stared up at the figure of Kyain, obscured in black. Sharp tingling traveled through each of his limbs as he attempted to stand, wincing the entire time. They would wake up eventually, but he couldn’t just keep laying on his stomach. Curling up, Kyain kept smiling innocently. Friendly, yet still intimidating. Laying on the ground, he put his snout in his hands he stared. First impressions were already ruined, but a second impression could be more than charming. It wasn’t much, but he may as well try to get on the cute wolf’s good graces. Drawing the rest of his tail to himself, he formed a ring in the grass. Cocking his head to the other side now, Titus’ interest was piqued. Clenching his fist, he hesitated to speak. Emotions dueled within him. To ask or just run? Horny thoughts from the tease Kyain gave earlier didn’t help him think straight. Clicking his tongue, he finally spoke, “So…what do you want?” Even if his mind was muddled, he refused to take his eyes off the slender figure. “Weeeeell, I was here for food, but I thought you were pretty interesting.” There wasn’t a patronizing tone to his voice. He sounded nothing but sweet. Disarmed by the tonal shift, Titus’ anxiety was letting up. Curiosity wasn’t the most logical choice here, but it’s not like he could abandon his pack, his one lifeline. “Interesting how?” “Though you were a hunter. Don’t see many furs this deep in the woods. Saw you setting up camp and thought I’d get you before you got me, though I smelled something nice on you~” Shifting his paw to his crotch, Titus recalled the tail rubbing his sensitive bits. “Of course he would smell my heat. I could smell it and I had it covered...” “Offer’s still on the table. I can help ya if you want.” As way of example, he put the tip of his tail forward and began gyrating it, mixing in a couple thrusts for good measure. Throwing in some bedroom eyes only helped him look more seductive. Tempting. Very tempting, but the clear risk of being ensnared again kept bouncing around the lupine’s head. Raising one brow and shifting a paw to his hips, he posited one more question, “Sweet…but why should I trust you?” “Ain’t no animal that would mess with you while I’m here” Kyain said while raising himself up. Towering over Titus and even some of the oaks, he flexed a bit. Scales rippling with strength, he showed off all his bulk. Impressive was one word to describe the snake. Jaw slacking, Titus had no doubt as to the serpent’s prowess. Size, intelligence, deftness, and swiftness. Titus couldn’t ask for anyone better to protect him. Something still didn’t sit right though. A knot forming in his stomach, he asked, “Sex for protection, then? That’s what you want?” “Nah, nah, nah. Only if you want to, cutie.” Coming down from the emergent layer of the forest, he began to ruffle the fur on the wolf. He wasn’t prey anymore, not the usual kind, at least. Being around someone friendly was bringing out the best in the scaly being. Butterflies abandoning the wolf’s belly, Titus started to take things easy. Pets were an easy way to win him over. Embarrassing as it was, he couldn’t hide the wagging of his tail. “F-fine. I’m willing.” “Thank youuuu~ How about I warm you up.” Sliding his tail up the wolf’s leg, Kyain began gently poking around the wolf’s groin again. Knowing what to look for made the search easy. While he could simply shove his tail in, he wanted to warm up his partner. Make it fun. Unparalleled muscle control allowed him to gently start pushing the tip against the wolf’s folds. A couple seconds of rubbing later, he started pushing in. Titus softly huffed. He hadn’t realized how needy he really was. Scratching the itch felt too good. Paws over his gut, he could feel Kyain’s tail wiggling around inside him. Keeping his composure was not an option. Panting already, Titus moaned with a lewd, soft, “Aaaaah~” “Awwwww…that’s cute. Enjoy.” Simple delights like this made the snake happy. Barely an inch in and already Titus was melting. Precision was key here. Once Kyain was certain Titus had adjusted to his tail, he swirled it around for maximum effect before pushing another inch deeper. Wolf whimpers and squirming usually was his sign of a successful hunt, but this was a welcome change. Bulging could be felt by Titus as his passage was filled. Serpent strength went a long way to loosening him up. Looking down at his belly, he could see the distinct shape of the tail pushing outward, especially when Kyain wanted it to. Each huff and puff carried more lust than the last. A minute later, “MMMPH! Fuck!” shot out of Titus’ maw. “I’ll get the light going. Don’t go anywhere~” Multitasking would be trivial. Uncoiling himself, he slithered over to the discarded pack a few feet off. Tail hitting a particularly hard spot, Kyain grinned. There was a yelp from his partner behind him along with a lewd shout. His tail hit a rough spot that he couldn’t push past. Definitely hit the cervix. Grinning to himself, the snake hefted Titus’ belongings over his shoulder and hauled them over. Shaking paws fumbled trying to grab the effects from Kyain. Squelching sounds softly sprang from Titus’ snatch as the flexible appendage withdrew from it. Flicking the wolf’s clit on the way out, Titus gasped again. Fumbling with the bag demonstrated how Titus felt clearly. Slipping from his paws it became a juggling act, desperately attempting not to let his belongings smack the floor. The warmup had done its job effectively. Tossing the luggage over his back, Titus clenched his paw into a fist and brought it to his muzzle and began to clear his throat. Sucking in air, the young lupine opened his maw and closed it several times, looking away from Kyain as he uttered, “Uh…so. I-I’m going to bed now… I’ll catch you tomorrow.” “Okaaaay~ Don’t want to go at it now?” Kyain said, accompanied by a cheeky snort. Spiraling around the tent, he lifted Titus off his paws. One hand went to cup the wolf’s head while the other tastefully supported the lower back. Care and love were paramount. Using his own head, the reptile parted the flaps of the tent and slithered in with his quarry. While too small for the snake himself, it would be easy enough to wrap around it and ensure protection for Titus. Gulping down, Titus did his best not to whimper. Once he was on the tent floor, he gazed up at the snake. Holding his stuff close to his chest, he scratches his head. “T-Thank you.’ Light breathing could be heard coming from outside the tent. An hour later and Kyain’s sleep joined the chorus of the night. Wrapped around the tent, head in his arms, and eyes open to the stars, Kyain’s quiet snores were the only sign he was off having snake dreams. Closing the flaps of the tent and zipping them up, Titus began to fish through the folds of his bag. “Bingo”, Titus thought. Communication. Aid. Rescue. Phone in his paws, he had his way home. Turning the phone on, his thoughts began to race as he watched it boot up, “No more dealing with that gargantuan, imposing, intimidating, sexy…snuggly…snake man…” Those thoughts made Titus shake his head. Pushing his paw to his forehead, he sighed. Rather loudly. Covering his maw as his eyes widened, he held still. “You good, cutie?” Kyain questioned, poking his snoot into the tent. Screen flat to the floor, Titus began to shift into a more relaxed position. Quickly calculating a response Titus clicked his tongue and responded, “Yes! Perfectly fine!” “Alright. Get some good sleep then.” “You as well.” Slumping onto the floor, Titus turned to the phone again. It had fully booted up. Only one bar, but it would be enough. There was a way out…If it was worth pursuing. Adjusting his glasses, Titus felt his mind start to fight itself again. “What am I so worried about? It’s only been one. Less than that! Threatening you, then switching to giving you a tailjob! There’s no reason to stay!” Classic mental imagery. The angel and devil of oneself. Though it was more the desperate and the horny versions this time around. “He stopped! Wouldn’t he care? Maybe sex isn’t convincing, but why is he safeguarding you? Don’t you want to know what made him so interested?” Titus shut his eyes. This mental duel with himself would go nowhere. Anxieties can’t be addressed like this. Only exacerbated. One way or another, he would force himself to sleep. Birdsong, the smell of dew, and cooked eggs woke Titus up. Bleary-eyed and weary, he sniffed deeply. The sunlight told him it was well past dawn. Additionally, Kyain wasn’t encircling his shelter anymore. Hiding the phone in his pocket, he poked his snoot out. “Good morning, Titus. Sleep well?” Sizzling came from the rock he was holding. Golden yolk and stiffened, slightly singed whites covered the makeshift pan. Proud of his work, Kyain happily bent down and held out the 4 sunny side up eggs out to his friend. Surprise crossed the canine’s muzzle. Breakfast? Carefully, Titus accepted the gift, heat seeping into his claws. “Oh! My thanks. Again.” “You’re welcome~ Still have one more.” he said, tilting his head up. A bulge appeared in Kyain’s throat. Entrancing, the throat slowly crawled up his gullet. Inch by inch, an oval shape traveled to his mouth. Cupping his hands, he arched his head down and spat out another large, whole egg. Eggs were not the first thing Titus cared about. Looking up and down between the egg and the maw it came from, he questioned Kyain, “Wait…What? How did you…?” “It’s called vore. Pretty good for protecting things.” Sitting down, Titus finally broke his gaze off the voracious serpent. The aroma from the eggs was great. Not having to cook made it all the better. Between bites of egg he commented, “Protecting like you did for me last night, huh?” “Kiiiiinda. Could protect you like this too~” Flashing his gums, the reptile grinned. It was a tease. It worked too. Titus was squirming, he could taste the heat in his Jacobson’s organ. Wolfing down the remainder of the cooked eggs, Titus rubbed his belly. They were surprisingly good. Content, he lay on his back and asked, “Is that why you were planning on eating me or just because I’m interesting?” “You are interesting. Been a loooong time since I could be with anyone else that wasn’t just a hunter looking for exotic skins.” Reflexively, he started rubbing over his scales, setting the egg aside. A pensive expression crossed the sleek, scaled face next. Smaller body posture, lowered head, and the clear consternation on Kyain’s face told Titus everything. There’s still something perturbing him. Biting his tongue for a minute, curiosity beat caution once again. Scootching closer to Kyain, he took the egg and cracked it over the still warm stone. Attempting to make eye contact, he gazed back up at the loving giant and inquired, “Have you been hunted before?” “…Don’t see a lot of enlightened reptiles around. It’s been hard to make a life out here. Wanted to take one more chance with you.” Kyain couldn’t hold Titus’ gaze. He was already shifting his head to stare out to the trees. This didn’t feel right. Titus’ ears lowered and his tail didn’t carry the energy it had. “Well, now I feel bad for wanting to leave. What now?” “I guess it wasn’t meant to last though. You probably just wanna get going soon.” The snake seemed to collapse into himself. Coils became tighter, smaller. It was as though he shrunk. Titus began to clutch the phone through the fabric of his pants. Sighing, he walked over to the balled, scaly rope and held him. Letting go of the phone, he pulled Kyain into a full embrace and kissed him. “Maybe…I can stay for a while longer.” Light shined in Kyain’s eyes. Adjusting his coils, he brought his lupine companion into his own type of embrace. No rose could capture how he felt. The coo of a turtle dove didn’t encapsulate his emotions. “Are you still sure you want to do this, Titus?”, Kyain whispered. Leaning above the wolf, he gently made slow, circular motions into the naked wolf’s vagina. The wolf’s near silent grunts melting his heart. “Happily.” Titus huffed. Even entirely wrapped in the snake’s coils, he felt secure. Love didn’t have a shape. Not one specific way to hug. Part of his brain screamed that he was being reckless, but no longer that he was in danger. The lovely noodle above him wasn’t disconcerting, only charming. “Thank yooooou~” Withdrawing his tail, he shifted his bundle up a bit. Applying two fingers a couple inches below where his torso connected to the main tail, he started spreading his slit horizontally. Moments later, the hemipenises began to poke out. Two black, thin, tapered lengths snaked out. Putting his entire torso over Titus, he put his head on the wolf’s shoulder. Bringing the wolf in, he used one hand to guide his bits into his lover. Satisfaction blossomed in his chest. Titus matched him. While it was harder to express himself with arms and legs bound, he was smiling. “Not the exploration I had in mind for this trip, but I’m warming up to it.” For a whole hour, it was this peaceful, intimate mating ball. Nothing disturbed them. Nothing distracted them. They only felt each other. Kyain opted to give a slow, methodical thrust every now and then to keep Titus engaged sexually. In turn, he got sporadic clenches on both shafts too. By the end of the hour, Titus could feel something warm leaking into his womb. Calling it nice was an understatement. More of a cuddle than a fuck, but still fucking amazing. Huffs, hisses, and moans from the pair claimed the space nearby. The birdsong faded into memory while the clouds contorted and altered. Soft, swaddling morning light slowly spent, their bodies intermingled. Heat had been extinguished with liquid love. “Did you enjoy~?” Kyain cooed into Titus’ ear. “I absolutely did.” Titus responded. Even when the climax of the act had ended, they stayed entwined. Snakes did need a good source of heat, and what better source of heat than the new partner that he impregnated? Nuzzles were exchanged while Titus gave sentimental licks. Some nudges and an occasional grope kept things interesting. Unfortunately, the moment couldn’t last forever. The noon sun was beating down on the both of them, and it was time for Kyain to hunt some more food. While he got up and started to unravel the coils around Titus, Kyain’s jaw opened with a gasp to accompany it. “Hey, Tiiiiiitus~ I got an idea.” There was a saucy grin on his mug. Tongue poking out, he stared down. Scents of mating could attract other predators. He had the perfect fix! “Go on!” Hormonal highs still rushed in Titus’ head. Dopamine surging through him, he looked at his new partner with puppy eyes. Tail wagging as hard as possible while still ensnared, he cocked his head to one side to leave his ear open to hearing. “How about I keep you safe like I did with those eggs~?” As if to demonstrate, Kyain’s flexible jaws parted. Pink, saliva-moistened tissue flared out, darkening to a narrow gullet in the back. “Not to eat me this time?” One cheeky blep later, and Titus seemed to being getting his enthusiasm to explore back. There was more than one kind of location to delve into. Whether it was wanderlust or the rewarding emotions that were taking away his inhibitions, he was curious. “Naaaaah~ You’ll be perfectly safe. I promise!” An irresistible twinkle scintillated in his eyes. Snake reflexes kicked in afterward. Hyperextension didn’t exist for those jaws. A wet squelch sang through the woods. Gulp! Gulp! Gulp! Chocolate? Odd taste for a canine, but it was an interesting flavor, nonetheless. The head went in easily. Canine cranium stuffed in his jaws; it was time for Kyain’s muscles to get to work. Rippling muscles gripped the wolf’s being while the snake tilted his head up, letting gravity aid him. Each mandible slowly tugging the wolf further in. The hard part was the shoulders. Reaching up, Kyain latched onto Titus’ arms. The wolf squirmed slightly at this, but the moan and wagging told Kyain what he really wanted. Darkness. Damp, tight, velvety, sleek darkness. Titus was drawn deeper into the pit. Kyain’s chest began to expand outward to house the wolf’s mass. Binding the wolf’s arms together turned him into a bullet train. Slipping down his throat, he wolfed the wolf down rapidly. After he got the shoulders inside, it would be smooth sailing. A creamy taste coated his maw when he pushed down to the lighter fur on Titus. Swallowing this sweet sweetie would be the best. Before long, the chest and abdomen were within him. A distinct bulge began to form at his tail. The length of the noodle had a visible impression on it from his partner. Toothless biting accelerated the process. One, two, three, four, and five bites. Moving from the hips, pinning the tail, and collecting the legs and paws was over in a flash. Loud gulping resumed as the bulge in Kyain’s torso gradually pushed into the depths of his gut. Bones and sinew shifting to wrap his guest in a loving, squishy hug, the snake patted his side contently. A smirk broke across his face. With a yawn, the carefully started basking in the sun’s heat. Consuming such a large, live meal and not even trying to digest it was exhausting. “Good night Titus~ Enjoy your home.” Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Pounding rain outside the cave created a cool breeze inside. Raindrops rapidly ran off the stalactites. There was another source of water. With a clench and a squeeze, it gushed out of the wolf’s snatch. Wrapped around him was his partner, providing comfort and support. Titus was rubbing his gravid belly, which had expanding rapidly over the months. Biting on some spare fabric and gripping the snake’s hand tightly, Titus did his best to hold back his shouting. It was time for the last. Rubbing his belly gently to help it move along, he could swear he could hear clicks from the other six laying on Kyain’s tail. “Mmmmmph!!” Titus cried out, his labia parting as another white oval pushed out. “Almost done, Titus” The serpent cooed into his ear. The warmth of his breath a blessing as he continued to cradle Titus in their shelter. Soft kisses were planted on his snoot. It was all too sweet. Panting left Titus unable to respond verbally, but he gave an affirmative squeeze to the serpent’s hand. Clack! The last egg popped out. With an exhausted sigh, Titus reclined back into Kyain’s scaly tail. Staring up at the rocky ceiling, he panted absentmindedly. His fur was matted with fluids. Sticky, smelly effects from the birth remained, coating the serpent’s tail. There was a hand rubbing the back of his head. Hazy, disoriented eyes made out the face of a snake hovering above him. Hoarse, muffled groans sprang from the canine’s throat. “It’s OK Titus. They’re all here… I hope they have your eyes~” Shakily, Titus slapped a paw onto the scaled snoot. Spitting out the gag, he guided the snake’s to his. Sloppy kisses exchanged between the pair, with more than a few long licks from Titus. His brain had shut off. All that mattered now was his snake in front of him. All they needed were the eggs that were laid between them.
