“Tik Tik want tell you about job. Hope you comfy, because there is lot for Tik Tik to tell. It all start in warm coast country, where powerful sorceress live. She gain lots of power with calling magic to make powerful friends and workers appears from nowhere, yes? So much fear everywhere. Magic peoples get scared and normal people no know what think, but be terrified. “She Tesarasa, and she super smart and magical. Tik Tik even think she’s best there is when come to use spell that summon thing. She want you next to her? Bam! You next to her! “Well, it turn out that she can call one object Tik Tik want. It magic relic, very nice and shiny, and very magic. But Tik Tik can’t get on own. That where you come in! Got question?” The bar patrons sitting across from the kobold look to each other with apprehensive gazes. Each of them shake their heads and mutter their apologies to the kobold wizard. Tik Tik pouts and sits back, crossing her arms over her chest and blowing a raspberry as they all decline her offer. “Bah! Tik Tik no get good help,” she moans, and instead she snaps her fingers, calling over a cute barboy. “Get Tik Tik something strong. She need good drink.” The server titters and turns around, giving the kobold a nice view of his rear as he passes. Her eyes also catch another intriguing specimen. It is a kobold with shifty eyes, skittering around the establishment's floor. She makes a mental note to check on this one when her drink comes back to her. “Thankie thank,” she says, her tail swishing to give the serving boy a nice whap on the bottom as he walks by. The server spins around, his face a bright red, but Tik Tik produces a hefty bag and flips a shining gold coin out of it and into his palm. “Just a tease,” she says, placing the bag on her chair. Tik Tik sets out to imbibe her liquid forgetfulness, all while leaving that exposed sack where all would see her. Her attitude towards the server draws the attention of various patrons and scoundrels. However, few would dare approach such a ballsy wizard unless they, too, were desperate. Kobolds are a crafty bunch, and when it comes to magic and machines, things aren’t always what they seem–a trap is likely to be in wait. Tik Tik sips her drink, allowing herself to savor every moment. She feels a tingle in the back of her head, and she hides a smirk behind the rim of her mug. She cannot allow anyone to guess that she can feel that someone has grabbed onto her pouch and is about to make their way out with ill-gotten gains. Just as the pouch leaves the chair, fully groped in two clawed kobold hands, the wizard snaps her fingers, raising her magical barrier. It was supposed to be a simple snatch, and Niv had done it many times before. All he had to do was walk past an unsuspecting patron, scoop up an unattended bundle, and move on. It’s a single motion, and to the naked eye, it looks like he was passing a little too close to someone, not too strange when that someone is a cute pink-scaled girl. But the kobold thief expected the pouch to be filled with gold and jewels. Instead, it squishes in his grasp and almost immediately pops into a sticky tangle of glue and goo. It sends him flying backward and pinned against the floor, gunked up by the explosion of alchemical matter. Tik Tik finishes the last sip of her drink. Her barrier is caked in the adhesive. She dismisses it with a snap, letting the mixture slough off onto the space next to her seat. She hops off the chair and strolls toward the green kobold, smacking her lips. Niv writhes about, his body pinned with his arms clasped before him as if praying. His snout is sealed shut with gunky nonsense, but his yips and snarls rise as best as he can as he looks annoyed at the confidently grinning wizard. “Hey!” shouts the server, a hand on his hip. “Are you going to clean this up?” “Don’t worry, cutie!” the wizard says, pulling her cloak aside, revealing traveling belts and straps. With practiced dexterity, she unhooks a strap holding a tome and pulls it out from its holster. Resting neatly on Tik Tik’s palm, the book flutters open, and her bright blues gaze downward at the pages, her mouth moving as she drags her claw along the letters. She finally taps one particular passage and brings her hand to her mouth, clearing her throat. And in the tongue of the dragons, she intones words, which cause the floor around her to shake and shudder. Niv squirms in the mucky goop he’s stuck in, whimpering as the oozy stuff slithers around him, unable to free himself from whatever horror comes for him. It is only a few moments of this apprehension before the stuff unsticks from the floor and the tables, balling up around the bound kobold, rolling him around in the sticky putty until he finds himself entirely stuck inside this round prison, muffling his discomfort. Tik Tik approaches the sphere of stickiness and pats her palm upon it. The ooze pops, and everyone nearby flinches, readying for it to stick them all in the trap that had thus far only affected Niv. The bound kobold finds himself falling toward the ground, freed from the embrace of the magical trap, only for the slime to slither around him again, the goop changing from a sphere of sticky substance to strong cords wrapping around themselves before wrapping around him. It bounds around his muzzle and arms, pulling them behind his back and wrapping around his wrists. It pins his tail against his back, forcing him to hold his appendage, his ankles pressing together, leaving him to fall without any balance.
