She’s securing a grand work, indeed.”\n\n“I’m your master now,” Draykan says, grabbing Mai by the cheeks and turning her attention straight to him. “Whoever you served before… she’ll be mine as well.”\n\n“Oh, I doubt that,” the mantis giggles. “But you’re welcome to try.”\n\nHe drops her and nods. “Well, whatever else happens, it’s bound to be more dangerous than even this was. I don’t want anyone following me into there, got it?”\n\n“Be careful, Sun Lighter!” Myfanway cheers.\n\n“Careful? Heh… it’s why I’m going in alone!” he says, spreading his wings and flying off.\n\nNow so close to his destination, the dragon can more easily sense the taint rising from the area. It is an evil that permeates the place, coming from a specific crevice hidden from the view of most creatures. Draykan lands and steps inside, and as the darkness overwhelms him, he feels a pang that arcs through his heart and into his mind.\n\nThe perfect living weapon… the herald of all of the dark gods of the world—that was what they said he would be… those cultists, madmen, each of them, the ones who took him from a young age and did unspeakable things to him and to Galenna and who knows who else? This dark and hidden place is so much like that place.\n\nHis thoughts snap back to reality once a groan echoes from deep within. The dragon rushes forward, calling out to the object of his search. “Kat!” He shouts. “I’m here! Don’t worry! It’s… plach!”\n\nHe rushes through and breaks through a layer of paper up against the wall, ripping through it quickly, but the sight beyond it makes the dragon pause.\n\nA warm and glowing chamber with a sickly green hue from a pool in the center. Sitting within that pool are the unmistakable silver scales of the dragon he sought, the ghastly color reflecting off her form, giving her a sickly hue.\n\nBut it isn’t just that coloration that shows the unwellness that fits this entire place, for it is the dragon's overlarge stomach as she lies, groaning, her face upon the hard rock, her neck stretched, her arms flopped in exhaustion.\n\n“Kat!” Draykan rushes toward her. “Wh… what happened to you?”\n\nHer eyes flutter open, and she glances toward him, gulping and groaning. She lifts a leg, gripping the pool's edge with a clawed grip. With a louder groan, her whole body tenses up, and her sex dilates, a round object emerging from her and plopping into the pool, sinking down deep into the glowing miasma.\n\nDraykan furrows his brow and reaches out, touching Kat’s head. His palm glows, and her groaning ceases momentarily as she drifts to a peaceful sleep.\n\n“Ooh, that’s glowy!” echoes the voice of Myfanway, fluttering in from the tunnel.\n\n“What are you doing here?” Draykan hisses, marching up to the moth. “I told you it’s dangerous!”\n\n“But I wanted to help,” the moth says, her antenna twitching.\n\nGrumbling, Draykan looks over the scene with the sleeping dragon. “Does this seem like something you’ve seen before?”\n\nMyfanway gets down on her knees in front of the pool and looks inside, pointing. “It’s an egg.”\n\n“Observant,” says Draykan, standing behind her, “but it’s not a dragon egg. It’s too small, and she hasn’t been here very long.\n\n“Someone put them in her?”\n\n“Them?” Draykan’s stomach sinks. “Oh fuck…” He places a hand on Kat’s swollen stomach. “There has to be so many. Whoever did this… they’re going to pay.”\n\n“What are you going to do?” Myfanway says, reaching toward the pool, her fingers barely touching the water.\n\nDraykan grabs her wrist and pulls her back up to her feet. “I’m a paladin of love. I’m going to work my magic on her if she agrees. But I might need your help.”\n\nMyfanway tilts her head. “How can I help you?”\n\n“That’s what I’m going to have to find out,” Draykan says, returning to the dragon, placing his hands on her head and whispering into her. “Awake.”\n\nKatadanyatarina’s eyes flash open, and she roars, thrashing about, but she doesn’t leave the pool. Draykan wraps his strong arms around her head and pulls her close to his chest, whispering. “Ss…ssh… whatever happens to you, I can fix it. You just need to let me.”\n\nThe dragon pulls her face free and shakes her head. She stares at him directly, her once proud eyes clouded in a haze. “N..oooh…” she groans.\n\n“What!?”\n\n“I must protect mistress’s children.”\n\nDraykan’s heart drops in his chest, the fire within the dragon burning as he hears the words coming from the pained groans of the once-great dragon before him. “W… what do you mean, ‘your mistress?”\n\nKatadanyatarina shifts, pushing her swollen self onto all fours. Her mighty form is still strong enough despite her impregnated state. She stares down at Draykan with her glowing, hypnotic, perhaps even hypnotized eyes. “I am the incubator for a great generation,” she says, a snarl rising up from her throat.\n\nDraykan remains in a humanoid stance before her, standing resolute before the horrific sight. “You’re unwell, he says. “I can help you.
