It wasn't fear. It was curiosity.\nAnd on this mission, curiosity can be dangerous.\n\n\nLife on the roadside means two things. One is that life is quite regular, as there isn't much going on. One doesn't live in a central destination hub. This is just a point on the map that leads to a more critical point where things happen. It's a shining beacon of constancy to those that make their way through the roads that link this land.\nThe second truth about living in a place most people stop is that there are always strange and exciting newcomers to meet and never see again.\nWhen Sakura started her cafe, she had been filled with a wide-eyed wonder with many of the clients that would show up for a cup of coffee or some other sweet treat. But, as time went on, that intrigue would disappear. After all, people are people, and while they each had their own stories to tell or their own lives to lead, one thing that always happened with traveling types is that they came, drank, and left. Sure, a little tale or a tune might be passed along, but those great words and actions were always forgotten, mixed into the pot of happiness that was her life in refreshment service.\nAnd it's not like Sakura really went out of her way to probe anyone for their life stories. No, she just goes about her day with a smile and a \"hello\" for each of the patrons, but then hangs up her apron and makes her way home to forget all about them.\nSo, why couldn't she forget Eshere?
