  "description": "So my original line of thought was that if you've got a tail, particularly a big, awkward tail, it'd probably be more comfortable and practical to wear a skirt then to try to squeeze into pants.  So I've been designing my female characters with skirts unless their costume otherwise calls for it, e.g. gym shorts.  Thing is it might start looking like this is some kind of early '60s, pre-sexual revolution school, which was unintended.  Maybe I need to rethink this.  It's something to puzzle over.  Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.  They'll be taking them off soon enough, locker room scene coming soon.\n\nAnother completely unrelated issue- this school has mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds.  Basically any kind of walking vertebrate.  Cetaceans and fish are in-universe but confined to the ocean, so unless I make a beach issue, I don't expect to draw them.  What I'm still on the fence about is dinosaurs and smilodons and other extinct species.  On one hand it would add a lot of fun and variety to the character pool, on the other the anachronism of extinct species in a modern setting might be a little jarring and distracting.  I don't know.  You guys are still reading, what do you think?",
