Billions and Ruffles It should have been a quiet night. Such nights had become increasingly common since Kipo and the humans had instituted their new society, but they remained rare up in the hilltop observatory between the nightly lectures and the Newton Wolves’ own nightly rituals. Most evenings the mutes relished every chance they could get to spread their wisdom or engage in a glorious hunt for sport. However, this night was a quiet night that Billions, alpha of his pack of intellectuals, had deemed absolute necessity. The bright wolf had absolutely exhausted himself and most of his pack in the prior months. With all the new attempts at forging alliances between tribes, the lectures had been both endless and unusually frustrating. If it weren’t for the few intellectual humans who had come up from their burrows, Billions was sure he would have mauled more than just a few of the imbeciles in attendance. So now he wanted to relax himself with none but the most intelligent of company. That meant curling up in his bedroom with only his brother and the old book they had managed to scavenge from a nearby library. Admittedly, it was less stimulating than it used to be now that his brother simply curled on top of his favorite turtleneck instead of laying next him, but if he lingered on thoughts like that, he would only ruin his quiet night. It was better to just try and engage with the reading. “You know that agriculture was never my favorite subject, but it can certainly be fascinating at times.” The wolf spoke mostly to himself as he thumbed through the old manuscript describing making your own compost and arranging gardens. It was terribly boring in all honesty, but at least it was something he hadn’t studied yet. He’d reward himself later with an old favorite astronomy text. “Since I suppose I won’t be getting any other sort of reward tonight…” He sighed sadly as his mind wandered away from the pictures of flowers and human couples bearing their fangs. Much as he didn’t want to think about it, a very base need was calling out to him, and he couldn’t stop his eyes from wandering to his resting brother. None besides him had shared Billions’ tastes in their pack, so it had been rather embarrassingly long since he had last copulated. The odd cuddling he’d received hadn’t come close to making up for it. Certainly, he was capable of handling his own needs, but… with his brother resting so close the idea was too uncomfortable. Though at this point he was getting somewhat desperate. He had to distract himself from his own drooling by forcing his attention back to a passage on which plants were safe to plant within the same garden. “Let knowledge be your mate…” The mantra did little to help. Thankfully though, a proper distraction came moments later when someone, or something, slammed into the door to the observatory, interrupting Billions’ quiet night and starting both him and the feral wolf beside him. He bared his fangs proudly at the offensive sound. Perhaps scolding one of the dimwits would allow him just as much solace as a night away from them. Downstairs, an angry, white-furred timbercat was busy trying anything she could to get the wolves’ attention. Her primary effort went into slamming the handle of her axe into the door, while the rest of her energy went into screaming. “Open up you eggheads!” Her travelling companion, a cream and brown furred cat with a skewed ear, stared out stoically from behind her. Though there wasn’t a hint of emotion showing through the brown fur on his face, he was quietly begging for the wolves not to answer. “I think they heard you, Molly.” “Then they should have opened up by now.” Molly slammed the door one more time before snarling at her travelling companion. “You could help you know. The only reason we’re even here is because of you.” Ruffles briefly thought about challenging her snarl with one of his own, but he ended up just rolling his eyes away from her, staring right at the ground. “They were the ones who started it.” He kicked a small bit of dirt near his paws for emphasis. Molly sighed and lowered her axe to her companion’s nose, drawing his eyes back to her. “Listen, Ruffles, if we’re going to be trying this whole intermingling of the species thing, we can’t just go waving our axes around at every slight.” She punctuated her statement by waving her axe high into the air and slamming it into the dirt at her feet. “It doesn’t matter if they laughed at you! You can’t start a brawl on their turf anymore!” “Hey, they started it when they made fun me for thinking a tree could hold up the sky! I was just asking an innocent question!” Ruffles did snarl for just a moment before averting his eyes again. “Besides, no one got hurt. It was all kitten stuff.” He crossed his arms and prepared to dig in his heels. Molly was sure to have more to say. Unfortunately, the wolves chose that moment to open their door. Billions wasn’t terribly surprised to see a pair of timbercats about to start a fight right in front of his home. He wasn’t even terribly annoyed since, if nothing else, it was nearly the perfect distraction he’d hoped for. However, he still felt a twinge of regret once he saw exactly who he was dealing with. The cream colored one with his arms crossed was enough of a fool that he could flaunt his superiority, but he hadn’t wanted a fight tonight. He had come prepared for one of course, flanked by a larger pair of wolves from his pack, but he didn’t want one. “Can I help you two?” Ruffles seized the chance to respond, matching eyes with the wolf and providing a firm, “No.” It lasted only a second before Molly interrupted, but something about the look seemed to linger. To Billions, it felt like a challenge. It sent an oddly familiar tingle down his spine. He found himself biting his lip by the time the fool’s leader interposed herself between them. “He means, we’ve come to make peace!” Molly stomped and raised her axe high in greeting. Behind her, Ruffles felt the snap of her tail. He stepped out and followed her in the gesture both reluctantly and silently. “The timbercats owe you a debt for both your tables, and your bruises!” Molly crossed her axe to her chest, a sign of submission. Ruffles didn’t follow this time though. The alpha wolf had locked eyes with his again, and he was only barely aware of what his leader was saying. Behind his glasses, Billions’ eyes were shining. He looked dominant, and hungry. The wolf’s tail twitched. He didn’t even think to respond to the cat’s leader. “Oh, is this the buffoon that was asking about that mad tree theory? The one who smashed up the conference last week?” He spoke dismissively. He’d hoped to embarrass the fool who insisted on glaring at him and was rather put off when Ruffles chose instead to narrow his eyes. Now, certain the feline was challenging him, his tail flicked more wildly. “Why on Earth did you bring him here?” “As timbercats, we own up to our own mistakes.” Molly glanced back to her companion, and after noticing his empty stare, elbowed him encouragingly in the stomach. It took Ruffles a moment to gain his bearings after, but after stumbling back a step or two he set his axe across his chest and looked back to the wolves stoically. With their eye-lock broken, the moment between the wolf and cat passed. Billions still kept track of the feline’s eyes, but after his stumble there was no more attempt to show dominance. His eyes were placid and empty. They did still shine forward though, with no sign of submission. “Right. We’re… I’m sorry for smashing your conference.” Billions shut his eyes and sighed. Something about this particular fool was starting to infuriate him. He felt a rather intense desire to put him in his place, one that he was keenly aware was comingling with another intense desire. He would have to be careful to play that part off. “Hmph. I suppose you do owe me for embarrassing us all with such an idiotic theory. What is it you have to offer as recompence?” He glared at the fool. “I certainly doubt your companion has much in the way of knowledge to offer based on his performance last week.” He spoke to Molly but kept his eyes on the cream cat. Once more, Ruffles failed to be humiliated. Molly didn’t even need to chime in for him. “Service.” Ruffles spoke very plainly, but there was a strength behind it. “I bet you could use help chopping up some new tables.” He mostly meant it sincerely. Molly would never let him hear the end of it if he failed to apologize. Part of him wanted to insult the wolf though. He knew wolves were fierce, but this one was so skinny he was sure he couldn’t even fell a tree. The insult hit it’s mark firmly. The alpha’s eyes shone with hunger again and he couldn’t help himself from snarling. His fellows followed suit, glaring and baring their fangs at the cat. Ruffles just kept staring though. Shamefully, the continued challenge was very much sparking a flame in Billions, and the mention of service sparked up terrible idea. Perhaps he could put the cat in his place the old-fashioned way. His tail lifted, and he couldn’t help but smile at the thought. “Alright, if you think you can be of use, I’ll accept your offer.” He caught his breath and adjusted his glasses. The wolves behind him quieted as well, picking up on a telltale scent he was giving off no doubt. “Since you can’t offer much else, I’ll be happy to work that sturdy body of yours until it’s worn out.” Billions approached the cat with a proud stride to shake on the deal. However, his paw was interrupted by an axe just before he could. For the first time the whole conversation, he bothered to look Molly in the eye. “I expect him back in one piece, got it, Newton?” Her eyes shown with dominance as well actually, but the wolf had no plans to challenge the alpha, just her unruly pup. So, he smiled and nodded, genuinely cordial for the first time this meeting. “He looks sturdy enough, I don’t think you have to worry about me breaking him.” Though he was being honest, he couldn’t help but lick his lips as he walked around Molly’s axe and faced his prey again. “Though I don’t plan to go easy on him either.” Ruffles was finally shaken when the wolf grabbed his paw and shook it with a surprising strength. He was able to match that though, and he matched the wolf’s predatory smile with grudging frown. What really shook him was the other wolves. They’d stopped snarling a minute ago, and now that their leader was speaking casually, they were looking at each other. It looked like they were about to start gossiping any moment. Now that he was shaken, the timbercat was easy to pull along to Billions’ whim. The wolf beckoned him to follow with a simple tug and he stumbled after. Ruffles thought about digging in his heels and refusing to be pulled. However, Billions casually waved him along with just a few words. “Come on, let’s get you to work.” He had offered his services, so he had to follow, even if he struggled to match Billion’s casually rapid pace. “Wait, right now?” Molly moved to protest but was interrupted by the pair of wolves moving to separate her from their alpha and his prey. Ruffles glared back at them, but they didn’t actually look like they were ready for a fight. Even when they put their paws on Molly, they just looked like they were still ready to gossip. And Molly didn’t do anything more by the time the wolf walked him into the observatory. He was almost sure that he heard her laughing after Billions slammed the door though. However, it was hard for him to pay attention to that over the wolf’s chuckling. It was so smug sounding it made his good ear twitch. “Alright, let’s see what you can do.” Though Billions was not shy by any means he still felt glad to be out of sight of both the timbercat and his pack. The conference room and stage were empty, so he wouldn’t need to wait another moment. His tail was raising involuntarily high as he eagerly walked the cat to the stage and glanced back. “Think you can handle an apex predator?” Ruffles started to sweat. He wrested his paw free from the wolf just as Billions set a hand on the stage. Though it was clear in a moment that was only because he was allowed to wrest it away. The wolf practically fell forward, but the movement was deliberate. He slammed both paws on the edge of the stage and leaned, granting the timbercat a perfect view of his raised tail and the pink hole underneath it. “Wh-whoa. What…” He only got to see the hole a moment though. Billions made a show of slowly turning around to reveal more of himself to the cat after a second. Ruffles was embarrassed to admit that he stared at the wolf’s rapidly hardening groin for longer than he should have. He only caught Billions’ eyes again when the wolf spoke. “Well, didn’t you hear me?” Both his glasses and his eyes shined, and he licked his fangs. The timbercat was finally completely off guard now. The stoic, half-closed eyes stayed on his face, but his mouth was hanging open. He had to actually catch his breath before he could speak again. He tried to be furious about the implication that he’d sleep with a wolf, but his eyes betrayed him, darting all over the wolf’s body. “You! You know that’s not what I was offering for service!” He steadied himself enough to lean forward and focused all his effort to glare into Billions’ eyes. However, that effort was wasted. Billions wasn’t interested in the cat’s eyes anymore. “You can’t be dense enough to think I needed furniture.” He laughed as his gaze wandered over Ruffles’ body. He couldn’t see much yet, but his fur ruffled delightfully while he tried to act angry, and in spite of that, Billions could make out some fine musculature. As he tried to spot his prize beneath the fur of the cat’s groin, he stripped his coat off. “Now, don’t keep me waiting, show me what you’ve got to offer.” “I’m not s-stripping for you, wolf!” Ruffles growled at the wolf, or tried to anyway. Once the coat hit the floor his eyes followed. Soon, he was taking in the sight of Billions’ shaft again. After the wolf ran his paws over it a moment, it was fully hard, and Ruffles had to admit he was curious about how it looked. It was oddly shaped, almost like a bone, bulging at one end, and it bounced curiously when the wolf walked. He was so distracted by the bouncing he didn’t even pay attention to the wolf getting closer until he lost sight of the dick, and the wolf moved fast. Before he could react, Billions was on his knees and had his claws on the timbercat’s hip. Ruffles had followed him close enough to end up looking into his eyes again. “If you won’t show me, I can just get at it myself, you know.” He bared his fangs for a moment, happy to dominate the stubborn cat. Ruffles set a paw on top of the wolf’s, seemingly ready to dislodge his claws. The minor effort at resistance just turned Billions on more though, especially as he saw that it would last much longer. Ruffle’s glare was growing far less confident. Billions licked his fangs once more while he grudgingly turned his eyes away from Ruffles’ shaky glare. He wanted to see the resistance fully vanish from his prey’s eyes, but he needed to make it clear that he didn’t threaten idly. Besides, his desperate hole was getting more needy by the second. He needed to sniff out the cat’s dick before he lost his senses entirely. So, he stuffed his nose into the feline’s groin, searching achingly through the strangely clean fur until he discovered the cat’s balls. And once the wolf’s nose made contact, Ruffles’ shaky resistance broke. His eyes slammed shut and his growl fell seamlessly into a gruff, quaking purr. He’d had enough control to resist showing too much when he just looked at the wolf, but that weirdly cold and warm touch forced his erection to finally show itself in no time at all. In fact, it rose so quickly above the wolf’s snout that it nearly knocked the glasses from his face. The alpha was very glad for the strange vibrations of the cat at the moment. They served well to mask his own shaking as the monster that Ruffles had hidden forced his head back. “W-wow.” He couldn’t help but mumble as he ran his nose up it. The shaft wasn’t just long, but thick as well, at least from this perspective. His whole body was aching now that he saw it. “Y-yes. I think this will make for a fine apology.” Casually, he reached out to stroke the beast with his free paw, confirming that it was hard as a rock. Ruffles wasn’t listening. He felt lightheaded suddenly, and the fact that Billions started to stroke his shaft didn’t help. He could barely manage to open one eye to check on the wolf then. By that moment it was too late. The wolf was smiling up from behind the massive log between his legs. Ruffles could see what was coming, but his reflexes were way too dulled to stop the pounce that came a second later. It felt like the whole observatory rocked when Ruffles’ back hit the floor with all its weight. He hadn’t closed his eye throughout and was terrified by the way Billions drooled over him. “That’s it! I can’t wait any more.” The wolf spoke eagerly, but somehow his tone conveyed the thought as a matter of fact. He leaned back to pull his turtleneck over his head, wagging his tail over the cat’s cock the whole while. While Ruffles was caught up in the sight of Billions’ fully bared body, he was more scared than anything. And his body refused to move away from the wolf’s waggling tail. The best he was able to manage was steadying himself on his hands and wiggling a bit. He wanted to resist still, but all he could do in the desperation now was argue. “W-wait a sec! Don’t I get a say?” “You most certainly do not!” Billions spoke demandingly as his head popped free from the turtleneck. In the same motion that he cast it aside, he reached back and grabbed the hefty cock he had seated himself on at the base. Were it at all possible, he would have impaled himself right there. However, since he had to take the moment to position himself anyway, he offered the cat one warning. “You offered yourself, and I plan to have my fill. No more resistance.” He ended the warning with a squeeze, and Ruffles remained thankfully silent as he turned around to prepare himself for a better seat. In spite of his size and strength, the timbercat felt totally helpless while he watched the wolf’s back. He probably could have fought. He was still confident he could take the guy, even in this state, but he couldn’t bring himself to stop it. His body was vibrating with a violent passion that even made the wolf above him shake, and that was before Billions lifted his tail high and set Ruffles’ dick underneath it. Once the wolf was ready to start, any desire to resist was gone along with his ability to fight. Of course, a different desire started to well up once the wolf actually dropped onto his dick. Billions’ impatience showed clearly in how tightly he held to Ruffles’ cock and the force with which he tried to get it inside. He did his absolute best to plow himself down onto the timbercat’s log of a cock, but for all his excitement, the size did give him pause. He had to ride up and down the tip wildly like he was preparing to be knotted. For the cat he was riding, the desire to slam him down deep was hard to resist. It became near impossible to resist once Billions paused completely to catch his breath about halfway down. “Y-you know what? You may be a dimwit, but you are remarkably well endowed.” He arched his back, hoping to get a better angle to lower himself. All that brought was a strike of pleasure that made him shudder though. It spurred him to keep moving and take even more of the endowment, but then he felt a paw on his hip. “S-slow down will ya?” Ruffles could barely contain his purring long enough to speak. It was starting to sound like a growl. “If you don’t I’ll…” His purr overtook his words again when Billions looked back at him, back arched even further and hands on the back of his head. Their eyes met again, and the cat couldn’t look away. It was intimate this time, not ferocious. The wolf’s hunger was fierce, but it was nearly sated. Still, he tried to make it a challenge. “Don’t go cumming in me just yet, dimwit.” He panted while he lifted his tail again, “You owe me this service after all… I’m not done.” He bit his lip while he tried to hold the intimate gaze with Ruffles and also resume his previous pace. It turned out he was only able to manage one though. One more bounce was all it took for the timbercat to slam his eyes shut and pull the wolf down with the grip on his hip. “I-I warned you!” Ruffles groaned and shot out his other paw to slam the wolf down, hilting himself entirely in the tight, warm rear of the Newton alpha. Billions was shocked and appalled at the gall, but more importantly he was enraptured by the force. Instinct overtook him, and his eyes shut open and mouth upwards. A fierce, ear-splitting howl shook the whole observatory. And the howling didn’t stop as he squirmed on Ruffles’ dick. The cat refused to let him move and he didn’t have the strength to resist, at least not while he used that strength to keep the hefty spear slamming against his prostate. He needed to keep moving though, to feel the pounding of another. He was so close that he knew that was all it would take. Ruffles needed it too. The wolf’s howling was deeply satisfying, enough to bring a smile to his nervous face. It wasn’t going to get him off though. Billions’ squeezing got him close, but he only knew of one thing that could get him to finish. So, he steadied his feet under him and threw himself forward, slamming the wolf’s face into the ground and sending his glasses flying. Billions was too out of breath to complain, but he wanted to shout at the beast. Something about how he was an oaf, and that Billions was the alpha. However, the cat managed to speak first, and shortly after any complaints were silenced. “Let me show you timbercat style!” With a shout of pride, Ruffles slammed his weight on top of the wolf and thrust with all the might he could muster. At the same time, he reached down and bit for the back of the wolf’s neck locking firmly onto his scruff. The intensity would have made Billions howl all over again were he able to catch his breath, but with his chest compressed and his neck held tight, all he could do was whimper and moan. It was a familiar feeling, almost exactly like the one he had initially wanted so desperately tonight. At the same time, it was so foreign. The timbercat wasn’t just huge in terms of endowments, but also heavy enough to be suffocating. Even the bite on his neck was odd, so focused on the back and not the whole. For Ruffles though, this was all too familiar. His own needs started to rise as he thought about his conquests and lost friends he’d had in this position. He groaned as he hammered with every bit of respect that he would show a fellow timbercat he was splitting in two. The whole time his eyes remained open, taking in the sight of the blue fur and the sputtering moans of the wolf. Neither lasted much longer, but Ruffles was the first to give. He finally shut his eyes and let loose a muffled yowl that shook the alpha wolf to his core. His thrusting slowed and grew even stronger as he filled Billions to the brim. Eventually the alpha came underneath him, moaning out a pathetic howl as he savored the feeling of being stuffed so full that his tail began to feel soaked. At that point, Ruffles would have normally pulled away, savored his work. But Billions didn’t let him. The moment his teeth’s grip loosened; the wolf snapped with the first coherent thought he’d had in what seemed like hours. “Don’t you dare pull away. A good wolf would stay…” He wasn’t sure when his eyes had closed, but he opened them again to glance back at Ruffles and make his point clear. He was happy to catch the half-lidded look again. This time, it felt like an understanding, not a challenge. He was pleased that Ruffles nodded to clarify understanding though. What was less pleasing was a bit of movement he caught out of the corner of his eye, however. The whimpering that followed was much more worrying. Both Ruffles and Billions turned to follow the noise, and saw a black-furred, feral wolf standing patiently barely a foot away, holding a discarded turtleneck. “O-oh, brother… th-thank you!” Billions smiled at his brother, who happily dropped the discarded clothing and smiled back. Some instincts remained. He had been worried by the noise. All it took was a smile to calm him down. Though he did come to offer both Billions, and his momentary lover a lick. “G-go wait for me in the room, okay?” A wave was enough to send him off, though it couldn’t remove the awkward feeling. Ruffles didn’t help by asking an obvious question. “Was that Billions?” With a sigh, the alpha responded. “Good guess. Next why don’t you ask if you should get off me, dimwit?” He groaned and squirmed a bit. Thankfully Ruffles complied without further questions, and it was a simple matter for him to pull out and let Billions rest his legs. Once the alpha was seated against the stage, the cat even went the extra mile by passing him his glasses. At that, Billions actually smiled genuinely at the stoic cat. “Thank you. Why don’t you go wait in my room? I think I may still need a moment.” In spite of everything, the cat was puzzled by the suggestion. He glanced after the feral wolf that was still walking away from them. And he froze a moment when the wolf glanced back. “Um… really?” “Another stupid question already? You still owe me. At this rate you may end up owing me even more.” Billions chuckled and shut his eyes, an old memory surfacing. An old game he used to play with his brother. How many stupid questions had he paid for himself? “Just go on, I’ll be up once I’ve cleaned up.” Ruffles paused to look back at Billions. He was a bit disappointed at the wolf’s closed eyes, but he didn’t show it. Instead, he nodded and got up to leave, following after the feral wolf. Billions was happy to be left in peace for a moment that seemed like an eternity deep in the cosmos. Then the moment was broken. “Uh, you know. Timbercats usually help their partners clean up… we’re pretty good at it actually.” The wolf opened his eyes to catch Ruffles staring at him from over his shoulder. “So, do you want to come up with me? I could show you how we do it…” Billions couldn’t help but be intrigued. “Hmm… I suppose I could always use a little more knowledge. Why not?” He smiled and grabbed his discarded clothes. He would count that particular stupid question as even, since he would doubtlessly allow the feline to clean his lips in the course of their bathing.
