(A blue robot behind a bar asks the camera.)

ROBOT: Are we rolling?

(A moment of silence follows.)

(The blue robot gestures mockingly with their hands.)

ROBOT: I don’t know what this means, Will.

VOICE BEHIND CAMERA: Yes, Curio, we’re rolling.

ROBOT: Welcome ladies, gentlemen, time worms, and people of all sorts to The World Without everyone’s favourite inter dimensional bar and grill. My name is Curiosity, but all my friends call me Curio and I’ll be your host for tonight!

CURIOSITY: Today I have a very special guest from a world where the sun doesn’t shine, Anther Sable!

(The shot changes to show a weathered regal door adorned with strange runes, a cute cat person with two tails enters through the door shielding her eyes from the lights of the bar.)

ANTHER: Where am I?

(The shot cuts to show Anther in a bar seat well acclimated and comfortable with a drink in hand.)

CURIOSITY: So Anther I’ve seen some cat people before but not ones exactly like you. I love your tails, what are you for people who don’t know?

ANTHER: Uhh cat person? I’m a Fenlyn. Cat isn’t a great thing to call Fenlyn where I’m from.

CURIOSITY: My apologies, but where is it exactly you’re from? Tell us about your world.

ANTHER: Eh my home is a little bit of a trash fire honestly, and my family has definitely thrown some trash on the pile. Believe me, I’ve met awesome people elsewhere on my world but it’s not great as a whole.
 
CURIOSITY: Can you tell me one good thing about your world?

(Anther squints up at the lights again )

ANTHER: We’ll it’s a whole lot darker than here, I swear you’re trying to blind me.

CURIOSITY: So tell me about your family, you’ve mentioned them earlier?

ANTHER: Eh there isn’t much to say, most of them suck and make the world worse for everyday folks. Like everyone I even know from growing up has sucked, my dad super sucked, and my brother. My brother is actually pretty good and sweet!

CURIOSITY: Ahhh well it’s nice you have at least that. I see you’re in robes and you have a wand, or you some kinda… wizard?

(Curiosity says this and braces in case wizard is also a bad word to this girl.)

ANTHER: Nah not yet at least, you only get to be a wizard by completing an Opus. Basically, you need to make something truly great, and I’m just not there yet.

CURIOSITY: Well I’m sure you’ll get there soon, I think you have the makings of a great wizard!

ANTHER: You don’t know anything about my magic or what I can do?

CURIOSITY: Well I don’t, but I think you have a storied past, and I think that by means a lot to what I think of when I think of the heroic wizard.

(Anther simply smiles at them as they delivers their strange logic.)

CURIOSITY: Well we’re running out of time here so I’ll ask you one last question, what could you not imagine your world without?

ANTHER: I guess I couldn’t imagine my world without my friends, everything felt like, I don’t know. I felt like everything was actually worth doing after they came into my life.

CURIOSITY: Awwn, you’re such a sweet thing, I just wanna pick you up and feed you milk out of a saucer.

ANTHER: You know I’m not a cat right.

(An awkward silence fills the room.)

CURIOSITY: Sorry I’d wanna pick you up and feed you… what’s the Fenlyn version of milk.

(Anther gets up and leaves.)

CURIOSITY: They have two tails so maybe, two milks?

(Curiosity continues to think aloud, not noticing that the guest has left.)

VOICE BEHIND CAMERA: Hey, Curio, you need to end the episode.

CURIOSITY: Oh sorry, well thanks everyone for watching. I hope you’ll join me here again next time. And as we always say... None of this was canon!

CURIOSITY: That was good, did you think it was good, Will?

WILL: Well, it was something at least…

CURIOSITY: Hey, shouldn’t the light be off on the camera?

WILL: I can’t understand how this stuff works.

(Curiosity gets up and moves out of frame towards the camera.)

CURIOSITY: Here I think I can help.

WILL: I know you think you can help Curio but I don’t want this thing in 100 pieces.
(Light fiddling sounds ensue for 30 seconds.)

WILL: Ugh I’ll just get Obscurity.

(60 seconds of silence follows, then light background noise and foot falls.)

CURIOSITY: See if you can find the button cause we can’t seem to find it at all-
