After like 3 years I finally got around to getting the reference I wanted. An adult, hyper-sexualised Oni!
I know the look doesn't appeal to everyone, but I like it. I'm curious for any and all opinions on the character and design. I'm no snowflake!
My thoughts on the design (if you're interested):
Muscles: I wanted them to be bigger than previously depicted by the artist. I LOVE the definition he draws, but at the narrower size, Oni came off a little...'bony'. Being a RL stick insect, I really didn't want that for the character and wanted them increased slightly. I was a little worried the muscles would be too big, removing his leanness and turning him into another bara character. After seeing the results, I didn't have as many concerns. I love how he's built like a tank but doesn't sacrifice too much on his narrow shape.
Butt: I wanted him to have a big butt. When the artist was drawing the front pose, I didn't think it looked big enough and asked for it to be increased. Then I saw how he flips the sketch to create the back and saw the beast I'd created! It came out far bigger than I imagine and I couldn't be happier! I love how much it stands out. It's like there should be a jockstrap holding it up, but there isn't! I like muscles butts, but they're normally always on big bara characters. On leaner characters, you get girly butts, or those fat butts with ridiculous sized hips and fat thighs. I wanted his to be more muscle than fat.
Pecs Manaries: NOT BOOBS! Big muscular chests are my weakness... I know they're not for everyone. I wanted them to be big enough that someone could comfortably smother their face in them. Again, like with butts, you only get big chests only on bara characters, where everything else is big too. I wanted a leaner character without the extra big arms so they were more noticeable. You don't see that much, and when you do, they eventually get changed into boobs... I had concerns about increasing his muscles, on the fear the chest wouldn't stand out as much. It did happen a little, but they're still noticeably big.
Gear: I wanted him to be big, but still a practical size. I went for the classic foot long cock, and balls that were noticeably big, but wouldn't effect everyday life. As much as I like hyper smut, it has given me a desire for more 'slice of life' scenarios, where oversized junk would just be a hindrance. Though this his just his 'default' size. He will definitely be depicted with larger proportions and height at some point.
Other Gear: By popular demand (of herms) I kept his lady parts. I never realised people were that interested in that part of his anatomy tbh. And now I'm quite glad I kept it, as it came out so well in the art! Whenever I've commissioned a herm, the artist has always drawn the inner labia. Not a huge bother, and I know it's accurate, but this looks neater. I also thought of giving him a puckered hole, but decided it would look neater like this for his 'default'. You want it puffed out? You better get to work then!
