As always, I highly recommend giving them a follow, they make amazing artwork!The Goblins lurking in the Dracosauria Jungle are always a constant and looming issue that can threaten both Titanian and Tyran Soldiers at any moment when their guard is down. Even the proudest and most haughty of Tyrans have to admit that it's dangerous to let a few Goblins one free if you see one, with the strange creatures loving nothing more to reap the benefits of a battle for themselves whether they be in the weapons and equipment they looted or the bodies they'd get to play with. That's why the Tyrans would start to have "Goblin Checks" where before any expected battle, a Mage and a group of Soldiers would inspect and search the surrounding area for Goblins and snuff them out lest they get ambushed in the middle of a heated battle. It has been decently successful, with it cutting down on the number of Goblin attack and ambushes.
However, some of the Goblins seem to have caught on to these "checks" and have now used them to their advantage. While the Tyrans and their Drakes are doing their checks, the Goblins will set up traps for the Tyran forces. Snares hidden in the dirt that when stepped on will hang the unfortunate victim up in the trees, decently complex traps that fired arrows and small spears, and even poisonous shrooms gathered from the underground that when stepped on let out toxic spores that caused those who breathed them in to become lethargic and disoriented. These Tyrans and their Drake were the unfortunate victim of these mushrooms, stepping on about half a dozen of them that were hidden well by leaves and dirt. With all the spores that they had breathed in the group were more than easily subdued by just three mere goblins who finished off some of them with their weapons while leaving some of them alive to kill with other methods.
They dragged the Tyrans and their Drake to a safe space, where they could kill off the remaining ones at their leisure while they looted them and inspected heir bodies. Needless to say, once all their enemies were dead, the Goblins would no doubt have a fantastic time playing with the dead Tyran's and Drake's bodies and feet, just the perfect reward for managing to fell a group of soldiers who were tasked with killing them...
