Even in the earliest hours of the morning, fights between the Titanian and Tyran forces can still happen at anytime. One such clash happen when a small Tyran force ambushed and attacked a Titanian force in their small fortress, and a small battle quickly broke out. Unfortunately for the Titanian Soldiers, they were quickly overwhelmed and brutally slain by the more aggressive Tyran Soldiers with the Tyrans suffering almost no casualties themselves.
With the short and one-sided battle finished, the Tyrans started their usual ritual of collecting the dead bodies and piling them up as they readied to collect them. In one of these piles were the Two Titanian Drakes who had been in the fight, who were brutally killed without remorse and now separated from their beloved Knight partners. However, one other Drake body was in the small pile, the singular Tyran casualty in that battle. The Tyran Drake had been killed by a combination of the vicious slashes of the other Drakes and a spear piercing through her underside which ended her life.
The one overseeing this pile was the Tyran Drake's Rider, who didn't seem the bit bothered that her Drake was dead. In fact, she couldn't be happier, the burden that she had brazenly given herself was now gone. Unlike the Titanian Knights and their Drakes, the Raptor had simply become a Drake Knight for the "prestige" of it all, for others to look up to her as a powerful fighter who has tamed the beast. But that also came with the caveat of having to bear with the annoying Drake who could barely speak her language and always seemed to have an attitude with anything she said. The Raptor had hated the Drake and was honestly waiting for the day when the Drake would finally be killed.
And now that day had come, and for the first time the Raptor could say she actually was happy with the Drake. Now nothing but a lifeless sack of meat, the problems the Raptor had with her were gone. She was quiet, couldn't give her an attitude or sass, and she didn't have to ride into her in battle. The Raptor found herself drawn towards the dead Drake's feet, picking up the hefty things as their natural scent hit her nose.
"Tch...took a few months, but it looks like you're finally good for something you dumb beast."
As if it was her prize for dealing with the child of Tiamat for so long, she started to worship her dead mount's feet while the bodies of the Titanian Drakes laid idly by as if they were silent witnesses to the Raptor's feast...
