How was he going to be able to expect his staff and dancers to keep showing on time for their shifts when even HE couldn't manage it? Just to make matters worse, today was payday too; his performers would probably flat out refuse to do anything until he got their with their paychecks!
Which was the sole reason for his being late today; or at least that's what he kept telling himself. He had not only all of those, but some other paperwork that his newest performer, Claire Davis, had wanted to get filled out, plus bills and a few other things dealing with the club itself. All of this he was fumbling with loose in his hands, trying to sort stuff out as he made his way through town.
It all served as a distraction from what he should've been paying attention to: where he was going and who was around him. But he was too wrapped up in his own world, his own business, that he never saw the rhino fellow who was walking towards him. Who he wound up smacking into, and that made him wind up dropping so many of the things he needed!
He muffled out an apology, and went to hastily picking up all the checks and forms, before one envelope fluttered away! (Oh shit oh shit, oh shit!) he cursed to himself in his head, realizing it was one of the paychecks! He scurried after it, stumbling past anyone to keep his eyes on it, for it to just flutter down into an alleyway.
At best, he thought maybe it'd land in a puddle of water and he'd be able to dry it out; at worst, he feared it was lost forever to the Fates. But just as he was about to make his way in, a soft coughing sound issued from the alleyway, followed by a form stepping out of the shadows. "Ya know, maybe you should invest in one of those business satchels. That way you won't have Paychecks making a break for freedom."
At this, Doomcup gave a soft sigh of relief....it was just his pal Lunatic Kat, who had caught the envelope in his fingers. The dark cat took a look at the envelope, and mmmed. "Claire Davis...this girl a new one at your club? Name isn't familiar." he say, before handing it back.
Doomcup just shuffled the paycheck in with the rest, giving a chuckle, "Yeah, actually. She's only been there at the club a month, but she's pretty popular with the regulars. Real sweet girl, tries to be as helpful as she can be, even with cleaning up after the customers are gone. Ya know, maybe ya should come with me over there? I could use some help carrying this, and I bet she might okay having some fun with us....she's a bunny." he added hastily, knowing his feline friend had an affinity for 'em.
"Mmm, a bunny huh? Real friendly too, huh?"
Doomcup nodded, "Yep. You know how it goes, it's all consensual at my place, if it happens. Try to cause a ruckus, and the hired help kick you flat on your ass."
Luni couldn't help but smirk. "Well...I suppose I could spare a few hours...would be nice to get a backstage tour with your new gal."
"Heh, oh, I think she'd like that....she does seem to enjoy trying out new, kinky things..."
The black cat just smirked wide, taking half of the Lion's paper work. "Lead the way." he said, before following Doomcup...
