Pricky was originally created by an animator who worked for the studio that made the other 'Mouse', as a bit of a lark. However, said animator's bosses were not exactly amused by his...erm, creation. A cartoon's greatest ambition was to be in the 'funny pictures', to squish, and squash, and generally make people laugh and happy. However, due to Pricky's anatomy, the studio would go on to deny her even roles in smaller cartoons; and flat out forbid her from ever interacting with their own freshly minted star, out of fear of tainting his image forever.
This would prove to be an incredible source of irritation and resentment for Pricky, as she grew to hate the other Mouse and his crew, as she was shunned to the furthest corners of the studio. This too lead to a resentment towards the animator that had created her, because her existence was little more than misery and abandonment.
It wouldn't be until an even earlier cartoon star, one Luni D. Kat, would upon her. His own career as an animated pictures star would prove to be almost as short lived as hers, when he was paired up with another cartoon character to provide the folly. While their pictures together were quite popular, the 'hero' toon started demanding more and more exposure as the ONLY star, and eventually had Luni Kat removed from his series entirely. When that happened, Luni D. Kat struggled to get along, as he was technically 'property' of the studio that created him...but thankfully for him the studio struggled financially, and he was liberated on the grounds that nobody bought him up.
So he turned to being more of an agent for other Toons, fighting for their own existence as thinking persons rather than unthinking pictures. It was during some of these formative years he was on the set, arguing for a client of his that he stumbled across Pricky, alone and abandoned among everything else.
Aside from providing her a place to stay(and a bed to share), he managed to get her out of the supposed contractual obligation that she had with her studio, arguing against ownership when other studios had similar rodents working for them to tease and ridicule the Big Mouse.
Of course, with her...unique body design, she wasn't able to do much in the way of funny pictures. But ADULT entertainment was a growing industry too, and it was then that she took on the moniker of 'Pricky Rouse', and...well, made a name for herself.
It would be but a few years after some of these events that the animator that had brought her to life would find his own life drastically come to an end, purportedly by suicide. Pricky was suspected of murdering him, out of anger and jealousy, but there was the contesting thoughts that Toons weren't people, even in a legal standpoint, then it would be hard put to put them in jail. More so when no evidence could link her to his death, but the rumor persists all the same.
Nowadays, Pricky tends to work less even in the Adult industry outside of special occasions, and is seen more frequently accompanying Luni D. Kat as he continues to represent his Toon clientele. But with the changing of climates towards 'cartoons are just for children', maybe she'll be on the brink of a large comeback series. Time will only tell.
