Cream didn't need any other signs to know that something was very wrong, and she tried to squirm free, but the shell of her mother held fast, before lunging forward like lightning, grasping her arms, and forcing her to the floor, causing her to drop the flower. Before she had a chance to recover, Cream felt Vanilla's foot slam harshly down on her stomach, causing her to shriek out in pain, air erupting from her mouth. Her air supply now perilously low, Cream clasped her hands over her mouth, and could only watch feebly as the older rabbit reached down, and took the flower for herself. Her mouth turned into a sinister smile, and she wagged her finger with her free hand tauntingly.
Cream gazed sadly at the face of her mother, or whatever was controlling her, in a vain attempt to play to her pity. But the spirit had no pity, nor remorse, and held fast, its host's fuzzy foot keeping the young teenager pinned to the floor. The young rabbit's chest spasmed under her mother's leg, and before she could stop herself, she burst, sending a cascade of bubbles upwards, along with her muffled scream. Unable to keep calm, she inhaled, and her eyes shot wide open as she felt her chest fill with an immense pain. She was drowning.
Cream warbled and moaned as her life escaped her, the possessed body of her mother glaring at her with a perverse satisfaction. Finally, the last of the young girl's air left her, and she felt her life ending. She looked at the face of her murderer one last time, before her eyes gently fluttered shut, and her head fell back. She was gone.
The spirit smirked with triumph inside its host, and decided that its work was done. It seeped out of Vanilla's chest, swooped around, lifted the flower with some unseen force, and flowed back down into the cavern from whence it came, leaving the mother alone to face her fate.
Once again, the adult rabbit didn't move. As she slowly came to, her eyes opened, revealing her beautiful chocolate coloured eyes had returned. Her senses returning to her, Vanilla looked around in confusion. The last thing she remembered was a sudden chill, and now she found herself back in the tunnel. How did she get her all of a sudden?
She felt something soft underneath her foot, and looked down. It took every ounce of self control she had to stop herself from gasping, as she saw her daughter's still form pinned below her. Motherly instinct took over, and she lunged herself at her child, scooping her up, and gently shaking her. But she didn't respond. She was already unconscious, or...
No! She wasn't going to let this happen! She would not see her daughter die! Holding on to the slim chance that she was still alive, Vanilla gripped Cream as tightly as she could, and kicked herself back along the tunnel as fast as she could manage.

Oh ho HO, I had some fun with this sequence! Rolling Vanilla's eyes up so they can't be seen gives her a great possessed appearance.
