He had a majority of the black fur on his back with some on his arms and legs, while a lot of the white was on his belly, chin, the ends of his arms and legs, a streak down the front of his muzzle, and the tip of his tail. This was a chance to make a new self, and no longer be known as just a blind animal. \n\nOreo had his mom travel with him so he could help learn his commute in a more secure way to get to work. He could have made a phone call and had someone help navigate him over the phone, but in person just felt so much better. Oreo's mom helped him move into his small apartment, and they spent the next couple of days working on the path to work before leaving him to go back home. \n\n - \n\nOreo woke up the next day and successfully made it to work! But that was the easy part. He was out with a team of interns who had a pretty intimidating manager, who for whatever reason, didn't seem to like him that much. He kept getting picked on and embarrassed by the boss. He tried staying tough but there was a tear that had escaped his eye. He did his best to hide it, and just hoped nobody saw. \n\nOreo kept having thoughts throughout the day if this was the right choice in life or not. He thought that the move would be much easier, but all he was feeling was home sick and missing his family. Especially his mom. He just kept thinking that she would know what to do. But he tried to stay calm, and be his new self. He wasn't going to let this opportunity go to waste for being a new dog. \n\nThe rest of the day was rough, and Oreo felt like he needed something to calm him. He headed down to a local coffee shop that he heard about from his coworkers. He called his mom and she assisted with him getting to the shop by giving directions. She kept asking about how his day was and he lied about how great it went. He felt a bit bad about it, but he didn't want his mom to think he was a failure. \n\nOreo's mom looked up some photos on the company's website so she could tell him which side the start of the customer line was on. Oreo gave a nervous chuckle. ``I thought half and half was half caffeine and half decaf.''\n\n``No sir, that?s a half caf. But we do have a half n half decaf half caf.
