They managed to do that without many problems, the wolf grinning when the kittens natural talents finally started to show, then made for where he needed to be. Once in position he wolf watched once more looking over to the kittens on the roof of the prison building who gave him a signal that they where ready, the wolf nodding then reached into his bag, he pulled out a few items, namely two the thin metal spikes and put them in his mouth then grabbed hold of a pair of hooked daggers then looking to the kittens again holding his hand up flat, then pulling it down into a fist the kittens nodding then grabbing up their own weapons. After picking their targets the kittens dropped onto them, daggers meeting their necks with the weight of the kittens behind them their spines snapped easily. As the men let out shouts of pain the wolf made his move using the distraction to his advantage, dropping onto the trio at the fire, slashing one morphs throat open, stabbing another in the chest no doubt piercing his heart. When the third man turned to see the wolf all he saw was a wolfish grin then the sheen of the blade that detached his head from his shoulders. Quickly taking the spikes from his mouth he threw them at the remaining male near the kittens, one of them hit his throat, the second hit his heart, he was dead before he knew what was happening. The last target woke from his drunken slumber only to see the wolf glaring down at him all but his bright blue eyes able to be seen under the shadows of his hood, the two kittens joining him shortly their jade green eyes shining in the faint light. He looked on petrified till the wolf grabbed him up by the scruff of his collar then said making sure the drunk man could see his fangs,
“Where is your leader, the one with the keys to the cells?”
The man trembled then pointed out a building across from him, the wolf looked then said when he threw the drunkard to the ground,
“Get lost you’re not worth my time.”
The man nodded then proceeded to flee opening the gate to do so, At which point with all the commotion that was going on the leader of the band came out of his little personal bunk room with the fat man from the night before at his side, the man shouting,
“What the fuck is going on here, I told you bastards not to disturb me!!”
He looked around first only to see his men dead then to see the wolf and the young kittens at his side, the man then asking as he drew his sword followed by the fat man who did the same,
“I don’t know who the hell you think you are, but you’ll die for this, you know how hard it was to find this many men that weren’t complete waste of time?!”
The wolf smiled swinging his sword to rid the blade of blood then saying after he did so,
“I’ll give you a choice here, you hand over the keys to your prison cells and maybe I’ll let you live, or you can fight me and die your choice.”
The man grit his teeth then charged the assassin shouting “Damn mutt!” at which point the two started fighting the clang and clash of steel ringing as the two fought. The fat man turned to fight the kittens figuring they would be the easier targets, the two kittens holding their daggers in hand when the fat man approached grinning when he pointed his sword at them trying to act scarier then he was. He then swung at them, his strikes barely showing any kind of skill or training, the kittens where easily able to avoid his blows, the fat man clearly wasn’t a trained swordsmen and the kittens used this to their advantage using their natural grace to avoid his sword as they got close and cut him a little, a gash there a stab there, they weren’t doing any real but it was more then he could do to them. As the kittens went about their first fight the wolf and the bandit leader fought tooth and nail, the man was skilled with his sword, and his form was decent, but he was still no match for the wolf, said assassin grinning at him when he took the upper hand then proceeded to take it, the man fumbling when the wolf forced him back at which point the wolf cut off the mans sword hand, the man shouting in pain still the wolf stabbed his sword through his chest, pulling it free once the man started to fall backwards. Watching the two kittens the wolf then said as he went to check the dead leaders pockets for the keys and anything of value he might have had on him,
“Stop playing around with that piggy and kill him, I don’t want to be here all night.”
The two shouted “ok!’ then proceeded to actually try to kill him which they did manage, only because he tried to grab the boy around the throat and to protect her brother the girl shoved her dagger into his chest, the boy following with the same. When the fat man fell to the ground, the kittens sounded their victory cheering and patting themselves on the back till their master snapped at them, saying when he tossed them the keys,
“Enough of that, you’re assassins now act like it, now go free the prisoners, I’m going to go take a look in this mans room see if he had anything stashed away.”
They nodded then rushed off to the build where the prisoners where stashed away, the wolf entering the small building that the former leader had claimed for his own. He found a few plans for actions they wanted to take in the future, some interesting information in the form of letters that the wolf saw fit to pocket, knowing that he could get a fair amount of gold for it, the letters implicated that a rather well known noble house of the area was in fact funding these bandits to do their dirty work. Last but not least the wolf found the mans stash, a rather heavy bag of gold coins, most likely the mans last payment, the wolf grinned as he pocketed the bag. Giving the room a last once over he found nothing left of value then left it behind going back outside to see the kittens and the prisoners with them. The wolf nodded then said,
“Alright, I think we’ve been here long enough, lets get the hell out of here.”
Vicky’s father agreed heartily to that then followed that wolf and the two kittens who where cleaning the blood from their weapons as they left, taking the few horses the bandits had in their makeshift stables, they had not been their the night before making the wolf assume their leader had been out with a few of his men that night. The horses aided their return to the farm, it only took an hour going back. Vicky’s father let out a loud “It’s so good to be home” when they finally stepped onto his property proper, shortly there after Vicky came bursting out of their home having herd her father then proceeded to run into his arms the male tabby wrapping his arms around her then proceeding to spin her around a little. . . . Till his back started to hurt and he had to put her down. The wolf and the two kittens where tired and while the farm owner introduced his daughter to his new friends the trio went into the house, back to their borrowed room and went to sleep, the kittens passing out before they could even get out of their gear, leaving the wolf to undress them then put them in bed, said assassin then following after, a long nights work finally done and over, and a family reunited.
