I just looove to place Easter eggs and references throughout my stories.\nCharacters have their purpose and actions way before I’m thinking of their appearance. Should someone still be triggered because of that, send me a PM on Inkbunny and I will remove it.\n \n \n“Hey Max what’s up” a trusted voice said behind me. I turned around and saw Nick and Neka. “Hi… sorry for that yesterday. I really forgot Master Kyle and after that, I trained a lot with Mike. He is here for a week and he want to teach me one or two things” I said. “No problem Max. Hey do you have some time?” Nick asked. “Sure what do you have in mind?” I asked. “A little fight between us. Don’t worry it will only take a moment” Neka said. “Oh….ok” I said surprised. “Well then follow us” Neka said and so I did. We went for the training field. “What are they doing?” Keto asked. “I have no idea” I said honestly. “Ok ready?” both said. “Sure go ahead. I’m a bit surprised that you don’t wear your armor” I said and drew my sword. “You’ll see” Nick said. “GO” Neka said and our duel begun. However, instead of casting a spell or shooting with arrows at me they grabbed something out of their bags. After that, they began to throw fire at me and I dodged the flames. They threw something at me and a loud bang and a white flash blinded me completely. “What the hell is that” I yelled and fell on my knees. Suddenly I felt something…. Keto’s vision….. I could see through him. I saw myself way down and I saw how Nick walked to me, he wanted to finish me. Through Keto, I could defend me and I grabbed his sword. I shoot a lightning bolt right at him. I could see his scared face and he flew away. “HOW THE FUCK DID YOU SEE ME!” he yelled but it was very hard to hear because of the ringing sound in my ears. I had one arm in front of my closed eyes and I slowly got up. I opened my eyes again and lowered my arm. Nick and Neka gasped for air and their jaws dropped. “Max your dragon marking is glowing!” Keto tried to warn me but it was too late, they already saw it. I looked to my right and I could see myself in a small puddle. My reflection showed that my dragon marking was glowing very visibly. “Shit…. Mike is going to kill me” I said. “Max… you are…” Nick begun. “No stop… don’t finish what you wanted to say. I’ll explain it when we are safe” I said. I saw in the reflection that the glowing vanished and I lost Keto’s vision. “Do you know a safe place?” I asked. “...sure” Nick said after some seconds. I followed them again but I felt bad. “Sorry Mike… the secret didn’t held very long” I thought. “WHAT HAPPENED MAX?!” Mike asked inside my head and he definitely knew what happened. “It was an accident Mike. It wasn’t on purpose” I tried to explain. “Argh…. all I asked was a bit secrecy…. but it seems like I asked too much” Mike said. “It was an accident Mike, it just happened” I said again. “We’ll talk about that later” Mike said and I felt so bad. We walked to a house and Nick unlocked the door. We went inside and I got the feeling that this was Master Queb’s house in Rockfort. Master Queb was the Master form Nick and Neka. They went inside a room with two beds and this had to be their bedroom. They closed the door behind me and looked at me full of astonishing and curiosity. “.....I’m sorry guys. Mike forbid me to tell you that I’m a tamer now….. Please keep it for yourself. Mike is going to kill me otherwise” I said. “Wow Max what are you thinking about us? Of cause, we go to the marketplace and scream “This little boy has tamed a dragon”..... Really Max” Nick said laughing. “I have to say…. I’m really impressed Max” Neka said. I blushed because they came closer to look into my eyes. “Don’t worry Max, your secret will stay hidden with us….but could we see your dragon?” said both. “Oh ahmm….” I said not knowing if this was a good idea. “Now it is too late to hide me” Keto said in my head. “Okay…. but later… ok?” I said. “Fine” both said and the smiled at me. “I totally forgot to ask…. how are you two?” I said. “Oh… we are fine and….” begun Nick. We began to talk and set down on Neka’s bed. The two had no problem to find Rockfort unlike me. I stretched myself but a sting made me jump. “Oh no…. are your muscles a bit tensed up?” Neka asked me. “Maybe just a tiny bit” I said and rubbed over my shoulder. Neka went behind me and her paws pressed firmly against my hurting back. “Oh shit Max.. What have you done? How often did we told you to give your body a bit of relaxation” Neka said. “Must have been over 1000 times” I said smiling. “Lay down” Nick said. I laid myself on my belly and both of them begun to massage my back. Their paws were pure magic and I relaxed. They pressed their paws very firmly inside my fur and they both purred. “So…. how did it happened?” Neka asked. I didn’t need to ask what she meant by that. Now I told them the entire story. “Turn around” Neka said. I turned around and now I looked at them. “You must be the youngest tamer…. maybe in the world” Nick said and he smiled at me. “Maybe” I said and blushed. “Nothing to be ashamed off” Neka said. They were done and I sat up. I felt way better now and I looked at them. “Thanks” I said with a little smile. “Oh I almost forgot… I think there will be a quest in Rockfort. Master Queb hinted at something like that” Nick said. “Really? Good to know” I said and got up. “Hey Max, you can slowly make your way to the mountain. I have already left Rockfort. We went outside and slowly walked to the gates. We went outside and I turned towards them. “Keto is not marked, so we need to meet him outside of the city. This law only exist because there are some wild dragons that sometimes attack small villages. Dragons from the combined forces are all marked to prevent friendly fire” I said. “Wow how do you know all that?” Neka asked. “Through Mike and I red many books” I said. “Really?” Nick said surprised. “Believe it or not, I can in fact read” I said sarcastic. “WOW you can read Max!” said Nick sarcastic, too and we all had to laugh. I walked off the street where I left Keto but he wasn’t there. I stopped and looked up. “Now what?” Nick asked. “Look up” I said. They both looked up and saw a dragon rapidly descending. Keto landed right in front of us and I saw their jaws drop yet again. “Hey Keto” I said smiling and I stroke his head. “I never saw a dragon that close” Neka said breathless and they both came slowly closer. “Can we…. you know” Nick said a bit shy, a side from him that I didn’t knew. “Sure, don’t worry he won’t bite” I said. They came closer and carefully begun to stroke him. He hummed and gave them a friendly lick. They laugh and I was happy that they seemed to like each other. “A pity that I can’t talk to them” Keto said loud. “Yes indeed” I said and they jumped a bit. “Wow what did you just said?” Neka asked. “He said that it is a pity you can’t understand him and I said indeed. Unfortunately, it is impossible for a dragon to speak our language. I climbed on Keto’s back and he pushed us off the ground. I think it was unfair not to tell them about you and I’m not mad that they found out so quickly. He doesn't trust many people and I think he is hiding something from me….. But I can’t put my finger on it. Anyways….. I still love him and of cause, he is the only real relative I have left. He comfort me whenever I was sad and he is the reason I survived all the time. Without him, I could not have tamed you. Overall I own him a lot” I said. I looked up to Keto but he wasn’t looking at me….. He looked right behind me. “Oh no” I said and quickly turned around. I felt the connection going inside my body and begun to close my eyes. I saw that Keto closed his eyes as well and we both calm down. I concentrated myself to relax and suddenly, I felt nothing…. not the warm body of Keto or the little wind. I opened my eyes and I was in a complete white room. “What the?” I said and looked around. Keto opened his eyes and I saw that he was behind me. I turned around and looked at Keto. “Do you know where we are?” I asked him. “I have no idea, is that what Mike wanted to tell us?” he asked. “Maybe” I said. In this moment, I felt something. It felt like our brains were melting together and I suddenly felt really everything from him. I felt exactly what he felt and it felt so strange. Like he was hiding something. “Everything ok Max?” he asked a bit worried. “Are you hiding something from me?” I asked a bit confused. “No” he said quickly but I felt that he was lying. “Why are you lying?” I asked, now sure that he was hiding something. “Keto you can trust me” I said a bit worried. “No, you would find it disgusting. I can’t tell you” Keto said and I was shocked that he backed off from me. “Keto…… We are a team. You accepted me and I wanted to tame you. You know that we need to work together” I said and walked to him. “No! Don’t come closer” Keto said and backed off even more from me. I was now worried but I didn’t know what to do. “Keto please tell me what is bothering you” I said, begging him to tell me. “No, it is not your problem. Please forget about it” Keto said. “I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what the problem is” I said now hopelessly confused what to do. “Max it is not your fault and you can’t change it…. just please forget about it” Keto said again but now he was sad. “Ok…. so you won’t tell me” I said and I had an idea. I tricked him into thinking that I gave up on it. “But one question stayed. Where the fuck are we?” I asked. “I’m still not sure” Keto said and he slowly walked towards me. “Better question, what are we supposed to do?” I asked. “Another question, same answer” Keto said. He stopped a few meters away from me. I turned towards him “What was Mike thinking?” I asked. “I’m just as clueless as….. MAX” Keto said. I began to run towards him and he realized it a moment too late. He unfolded his wings and tried to fly away but I jumped onto his chest and dug my little claws into it. “Tell me!” I yelled but suddenly, everything went black.\n \n“I think they are inside” I said to Kabe. “Yeah it seems like it” Kabe replied and we walked around Max and Keto. “Good, now they have plenty of time to discuss everything and that they have a safe place for secrets” I said and I was happy that this was now off my shoulders. “Do you think that Keto is going to tell Max about his need?” Kabe asked. “I honestly hope it. I hope that Keto can calm Max down if he tells him.
