", "writing": "Duel Monster Saviors\n\nCh. 13 – The School Dance\n\nWritten by TheAmariaShadow\n\nIt's been a few weeks since the Exhibition Duel I had with Akio. Even now, I cannot contain the urge to duel with him once more. Of course, that would have to wait until a later time, for there was something else happening soon that was a bit troublesome: the School Dance….\n\nI yawned slightly as the bell for classes to end rang as I said, \"Another day done, now time for some fun! So guys, shall we return to the Slifer Red dorm for some lunch?\" Mikey shook his head as he said, \"Sorry, Onyx. My first stop is our bedroom. My outfit for tonight has arrived, so I got to see if it fits.\" I raised an eyebrow when Mikey said that. \"Outfit? What outfit?\", I asked. \"My suit for the School Dance. It's tonight, ya know!\", Mikey stated. I groaned slightly when he said that and replied, \"Oh yeah, I forgot that it was tonight. I really hate dancing. Well, how about you, sis? You want to join me to the cafeteria?\"\n\nCrystal smiled softly to me and said, \"Sorry, Onyx. I still got to ask someone out to the dance for tonight. I knew you wouldn't go, so I am still searching for a date.\" I tilted my head as I said, \"Who did you have in mind?\" Crystal looked back towards the back of the class, seeing Akio standing at the door talking to Tea. My jaw dropped when I realized that she was staring directly at him. \"You're going to ask Akio out?\", I asked. She nodded as she said, \"That's not a problem, is it? I mean, you're not going to the dance.\" I shook my head and said, \"No, not at all! I think you made a good choice. I take it you already have a date to the dance too, Mikey?\" Mikey nodded with a blush as Jessie said, \"He asked me out! Isn't that so cute?\" I chuckled as I nudged him in the arm and said, \"Good on you, mate. You finally did it.\" Mikey laughed slightly as he saw Tea walk away from Akio and then said, \"Go on, Crystal! You better ask him before someone beats you to it!\" Crystal nodded as she gathered her things and immediately left us behind to ask Akio out. I looked at the two as Akio told Crystal yes and they immediately left the classroom. I sighed as I looked at Mikey and Jessie leave together, leaving me alone in the classroom. 'Well, Onyx. Guess you'll be going to lunch alone today.', I thought silently to myself as I gathered my stuff and left the classroom.\n\nMeanwhile, over in the Obelisk Blue campus….\n\n\"No!? What do you mean, no!?\", Dash exclaimed to Kaitlyn. \"Sorry, Dash. I don't want to go to the dance with you. Besides, I've already asked someone out. Besides, I'm only interested in girls. You know that.\", the weasel stated to Dash. \"But you're the only friend I got here in Obelisk Blue. Ever since I've been handed defeat by those Slifer slacker twins, no one gives me the time of day here!\", Dash exclaimed. Kaitlyn shook her head as she said, \"Sorry, Dash. Maybe there is someone on the island who may say yes. Good luck, you have three hours.\" Dash growled as Kaitlyn walked away from him as he said, \"This isn't good. I've asked practically every student in both Obelisk Blue and Exodia Purple and they all said no! Which means….I've got to ask people from Ra Yellow or Slifer Red.\" He gulped audibly as he ran out of the dorm to the Ra Yellow campus. As time passed, he continued to frantically ask everyone he could find, from students to possibly some teachers too.\n\nBack at the Slifer Red dorm….\n\nI hummed softly as music played in my headphones as Mikey and Crystal looked over their outfits. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Mikey was sporting a red suit jacket with a white button-up shirt and a blue bowtie alongside a pair of black shorts. He was also wears a pair of brown dress shoes and white kneesocks. Wow, I've never seen him wear anything like that before. He's always been kind of laidback and wore anything that was comfortable. I still saw he was sporting his single glove that he always wore, so that much wasn't different. As for Crystal, she was looking at a sundress that Mom and Dad had sent to her which was pink in color with a purple underside with white trim and a large red bow tied around the waist along with a white bracelet. Definitely one of Mom's creations from the stitch work. Crystal walked over to me and said, \"What do you think, Onyx? Think it would look cute on me?\"\n\nI smiled as I said, \"Of course it would, sis!\" She smiled as a knock at the door was heard. She looked at me and Mikey and said, \"Were any of you expecting any company?\" I tilted my head as Mikey said, \"That's probably our chaperone!\" He walked over to the door and opened it to get immediately hugged by his father. \"Hi, Dad!\", he said as Jonathan stated, \"Good to see you again, kiddo! And it's good to see you two as well, Crystal and Onyx!\" Crystal smiled as she said, \"It's great to see you again, Mr. Redheart. How are things back at KaibaCorp?\" Jonathan smiled as he said, \"Never better, young one. We are working a secret project right now, but we are certain that it'll be a great success in the long run!\" Curiosity kicked in when Mikey's father said that and I asked, \"A secret project? What kind of secret project?\" Jonathan shook his head and said, \"Now, Onyx. I cannot give away that kind of information, unfortunately. I can say this however: the world of Duel Monsters shall be revolutionized with this project.\"\n\n\"That does sound interesting! But Dad, the dance isn't for another two and a half hours. Why are you here so early?\", Mikey asked. \"Does a father need a reason to come see his only son?\", Jonathan stated. Mikey smiled as he hugged his father again, only to get interrupted by another knock at the door. \"Well now, our door certainly is busy today. Who is it?\", Mikey asked. \"It's Dash! I need to talk to the Noroi girl!\", Dash's voice rang out from the other side. Both Crystal and I were in shock when we heard Dash's voice from the other side of the door, but Mikey immediately let go of his father and immediately opened the door and said, \"Dash, come on in.\" Dash shook his head and said, \"What I have to talk about to the Noroi girl….sorry, Crystal, is a bit important and I'd like it if she stepped out here into the hallway.\" Crystal placed her dress down on the bed and said, \"You want to talk to me? Ok then, let's talk.\" She immediately walked out of the door and closed it behind her, I immediately jumped from my bed and walked over to the door and placed an ear to it to listen to what was going on outside, only to feel my sister hit her fist on the door precisely where my ear was. \"OW!\", I exclaimed loudly.\n\nOn the other side of the door….\n\nCrystal smiled as she heard me yell on the other side of the door and said, \"Sorry about that, Onyx is pretty bad for eavesdropping. In any case, what happened to you? You look a bit rattled, Dash. Have you been running a lot today?\" Dash panted slightly, pretty exhausted from his day today. Immediately he bowed low and said, \"Crystal, please go to the dance with me!\" Crystal's eyes widened when Dash said those words. \"Wait, what?\", she asked in disbelief. \"I've asked every girl on campus to go the dance with me and all of them have said no! My mother is supposed to be my chaperone tonight, and she has given me explicit instructions that I MUST go to the dance in order to uphold the Anderson name. I wasn't even planning to go, but she is forcing my hand here!\", Dash stated, still bowing in front of Crystal. Crystal looked away nervously as she thought, 'Oh no, what do I do? I know how much Dash and his mom don't get along, so if she is forcing his hand, Dash is definitely in trouble! On the other hand, I've already asked Akio out to the dance, so I can't just say no to him and go out with Dash! Think, Crystal, think!'\n\nAs the thoughts raced through Crystal's mind, she could tell that Dash was definitely desperate on asking her to the dance. Hesitantly, she finally gave in….\n\n\"Dash, please stand up. Of course I will go with you.\", Crystal said nervously. Dash stood up and looked me in the eyes and said, \"Really? You'd really do that?\" Crystal nodded in reply as she said, \"Well, like you said, you've asked everyone and you came to me. Your mom is forcing your hand and we all know what kind of trouble she can stir up, so yes, I'll go with you. Now go, go get yourself cleaned up. You've still got another two and a half hours, alright?\" Dash nodded as he walked away towards the elevator, leaving Crystal behind as she walked into the room once more. As she walked back into the room, she immediately said, \"Onyx, I'm in big trouble and I need your help out of this one!\" I raised an eyebrow when Crystal stated that, completely lost on what she was asking me.\n\nOnce Crystal settled down, she told me exactly what Dash had wanted to ask her. I was quite speechless over the entire debacle, but what she said next completely threw me for a loop…\n\n\"You want me to do what?!\", I exclaimed. \"I want you to go to the dance as me with Dash while I go to the dance with Akio as you.\", Crystal replied. \"Ok, even if that would work, first off, I'M NOT A GIRL! Secondly, we may be twins, but we have subtle differences that Dash would easily spot!\", I replied. \"Nothing that a wig, a fake breast form, a fake tail, and some makeup wouldn't fix. Come on, Onyx, I'm begging you here!\", Crystal stated. I sighed softly as I looked at Mikey and his father, both of them sharing a look that says to do as Crystal says. I rolled my eyes as I said, \"Fine, fine! But you and Akio have to stay perfectly hidden and away from Dash's sight, otherwise, we may end up blowing our cover. Understand?!\" Crystal nodded as she stated, \"Alright then, we best get prepared. We've only got a few hours to turn me into you and you into me!\"\n\nNow, as time passed, Crystal worked her hardest to get us both prepared for the dance tonight. While that occurred, Mikey passed on the word to Akio and the others of our predicament and what should be done at the dance tonight. By the time we were done, we had less than an hour to report to the Obelisk Arena….\n\nCrystal and I walked out of the bathroom, both of us wearing our costumes. At first glance, everyone was speechless on how well we pulled everything off. Akio walked over to the costumed Crystal and said, \"Think you two can pull it off?\" Crystal sighed and said, \"It's not me that we should be worried about.\" She looked right over to me when she said that, seeing me rub my back in pain. \"Man, this breastform is heavy on my chest, it's killing my back! Not to mention you had to make the bow on this dress even tighter. Why, sis, why?\", I stated with a groan. \"It was the only way to make it look believe, Onyx. Don't worry, the dance shouldn't be that long. You'll do fine, I hope.\", Crystal stated. Mikey then walked up and said, \"Well then, everyone. Shall we head to the Obelisk campus?\" I nodded as everyone walked out of our bedroom to the elevator. As it lowered us to the bottom floor, the doors opened to reveal Ben, Leslie, Robin, and Ranko standing in front of it with their chaperones. Leslie walked up to me as he looked me and Crystal over and said, \"Well, the costumes look believable enough. But, are you sure you two will be able to pull this off?\" Crystal nodded as she held Akio close and said, \"As long as Dash doesn't realize that both of us are at the dance, he wouldn't get suspicious. So, let's us hurry!\" Dr. Redheart cleared his throat as he said, \"Very well, children. Let's head to the Obelisk campus!\"\n\nAs the time passed, we finally arrived at the Obelisk Arena. Everyone made their separate paths as I was left alone at the entrance, looking around for Dash until….\n\nI felt a slight tap on my shoulder as I looked behind me to see Dash walking in with his mother Valarie. I gulped as she stared coldly at me, but I was positive that she was staring more at Crystal than myself. She sighed as she looked at Dash and said, \"Of all the girls on the campus, you decide to go with the Slifer brat's sister?\" Dash frowned as he snatched his arm from his mother's grip and said, \"At least she said yes, Mother! Come on, Crystal.\" I nodded as Dash took my hand and walked away from his mother, thinking to myself how glad I was that this disguise was actually working. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Akio and my sister dancing alongside Mikey and Jessie. I sighed as I thought, 'Relax, Onyx. You can do this. It's only for an hour, so try to keep your cool until it is over.' Dash finally stopped as he turned to me and bowed slightly before saying, \"Thank you again, Crystal. I know that you have every reason to have said no to me earlier, but I had my hands tied on this one.\" I raised my eyebrow as I said, \"Because of your mother, right?\" Dash stood straight as he mocked his mother's voice and said, \"Image is everything, Dash! You are an Anderson and you must uphold the Anderson name at Duel Academy! Despite your many recent losses, I shall not allow you to not attend the School Dance! You must find a date and you must show that we Andersons are the best of the best!\" He sighed as he said, \"I really could care less of our family image. All I care about is dueling, nothing more and nothing less.\" I tilted my head as he held his hand out to me and said, \"Shall we dance, milady?\" I flinched slightly when he said that, but I reluctantly took his hand as he placed his other hand on my hip as we started to dance slowly around the floor. We were silent for a few minutes, mostly due to me being embarrassed, but then I finally swallowed my pride and asked, \"So, you really don't get along much with your mother, huh? Why is that? I mean, she's your mom, right?\"\n\nDash's eyes narrowed as I asked that question then I immediately said, \"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to annoy you!\" He shook his head as he spun me around and said, \"She's not my mother.\" My eyes widened when he said that as he continued to say, \"She's my adoptive mother. My parents has long since passed away.\" I looked away slightly as I said, \"I'm sorry to hear that, Dash. So you're not an Anderson by blood. Who were you back then?\" He looked up towards the ceiling as he said, \"I was once Dash Mitchells. My parents were Bryan and Jacquelyn Mitchells, two duelists on the pro circuit, just like Chancellor Muto and Chancellor Kaiba. Back then, I was one of the nicest kids you could ever meet and I loved dueling more than anything.\" I was silent as Dash continued to talk and say, \"I was six when it happened. It was on my birthday and my parents had sent me a new card to add to my deck a few days prior. Unfortunately, I never did get to see them. They died in a car crash and I was left alone. I was placed into an orphanage a few days later and it was the worst years of my life. It's where I got this scar over my eye.\"\n\nMy eyes widened when he said that. \"Someone in the orphanage you were in did that to you?!\", I exclaimed. Dash nodded as the music in the room changed as he said, \"I stayed in that orphanage for four years. The only escape I had in that horrible place was my cards. Without them, I doubt I wouldn't have gotten adopted.\" I raised an eyebrow when he said that as he stated, \"I was twelve when they appeared: the Anderson family. What a pleasure to have your lovely family visit our humble facility! My name is Jefferson Sykes and I am in charge of this orphanage. How may I help you today?\", Mr. Sykes stated. She looked at the man and said, \"I am here to adopt a young boy, one who shall be part of my family.\" When that was stated, Mr. Sykes rubbed his hands greedily as he said, \"But of course! We have a fabulous variety of children here who are in need of a marvelous home. I am sure one of these young lads here suits your tastes?\" Valarie stared at Sykes coldly as she said, \"I have no need for any run-of-the-mill child! What I am looking for is a winner who would be worthy of being an heir to the Solaris corporation!\" Sykes' eyes widened as he took a step back and said, \"Yes, yes, of course! But, how do you intend on finding a son that way, if I may ask?\" Valarie chuckled softly as she said, \"Simple. I shall duel each child here, and whoever beats me, I shall adopt them. Jack!\" Her husband flinched slightly as he covered his head with his hands and said, \"Y-Yes, Valarie?\" She scoffed as she said, \"Honestly, you are pathetic. Get my Duel Disk from the car and make it quick.\"\n\nAs Jack did that, a young Dash was in awe as this was happening. He immediately slipped away from the crowd of boys as he ran over to a dead tree and said, \"Mom, Dad, did you hear that? If I beat that lady in a duel, I may just get a chance of having a new family! I hope you two will be with me, because I am definitely going to win that duel!\" Dash smiled as he picked up a nearby hand shovel and started digging at the base of the tree, getting himself covered in dirt as he finally uncovered a small box. As this occurred, Valarie had already dueled ten of the young boys in the orphanage and won. She frowned deeply as she looked at Sykes and said, \"Is this all you can muster, Sykes?\" He flinched as he motioned to one of the nurses within the orphanage as she sent out other young boys to challenge Valarie. As Dash opened the box he uncovered, his eyes widened as he realized it was empty. 'What? No, where is it!? It should've been here!', he thought as a childish laugh was heard from behind him. He looked behind him as he saw three boys definitely three times his size, the one in the middle holding what looked to be a silver locket and a dueling deck. Dash's eyes were in horror as he said, \"Nazo, give those back to me! They're mine!\"\n\nThe middle boy giggled coldly as he said, \"I don't know what you are talking about, Dashie! These belong to me! Raiko, Sado, tell this little bug that I found these fair and square!\" The boy on the right, Raiko, nodded as he looked at Dash and said, \"Nazo is right, Dash! The three of us decided to have a treasure hunt today!\" Sado chimed in as he readjusted his glasses and said, \"And we found a tiny box hidden underneath this very tree with that locket and deck! Now it belongs to the boss!\" Tears of anger welled up in Dash's eyes as he said, \"You're wrong! That locket and deck are the only things that I have left of my parents! Ever since I got into this hellhole, I promised that I would leave this place with them! Give them back! RIGHT NOW!\" Nazo chuckled as walked over to Dash and said, \"Now now, Dashie. No need to get all riled up. We wouldn't want you to have another accident like you did last time, WOULD WE?\" As he said that, one of his hands were placed in front of Dash's eye, a small glint of light reflected from a pocketknife as Sado and Raiko chuckled maliciously. Tears continued to fall from Dash's eyes as a woman's voice rang out from the side of the building. \"Hey, you three! That's enough of that! Give Dash back his things and report to the front immediately!\", said a lady in a maid's dress. Nazo snorted as he looked at Dash and dropped the locket and his cards onto the ground. Dash immediately dropped to the ground to gather his things, but immediately yelled as Nazo stomped onto his hands then grabbed a fistful of his hair as he looked at him and said, \"Listen to me, you little bitch. We are going to win this duel with this lady. We are a team, and if one of us wins, all of us wins. And then…..I may just convince her to take you with us. We could use a servant to clean our shoes.\" Nazo and his lackeys laughed as they walked around the front of the building, the maid immediately ran over to me as I shook my hands furiously to have the pain fade away quickly. The maid knelt down in front of me and said, \"Are you alright, Dash?\" Dash sniffled as he said, \"I hate those three! They always bully me and hurt me! But I'll show them. I'll show everyone that Dash Mitchells always comes out on top! I will definitely beat the Anderson lady and get out of this place!\" The maid smiled as she bandaged up Dash's hands and said, \"That's the spirit, Dash. You cannot let anyone bring you down, otherwise, you'll never succeed in life.\"\n\nDash wiped away his tears as the maid collected his cards and locket and handed them to him as three loud yells of defeat were heard from the front of the orphanage. \"Is that really everything your children can muster, Sykes?! I WANT A WINNER!\", Valarie yelled cruelly. Sykes whimpered as he said, \"But Mrs. Anderson, you've dueled every single boy here! ….Well, there is still one, but I doubt you'd waste your time with him. He's a bit of a weakling.\" Dash frowned as he ran around the building and said, \"Let me make that decision for her, Mr. Sykes! I deserve a chance to duel too!\" Valarie looked at me and said, \"What is your name, child?\" Dash frowned as he said, \"My name is Dash Mitchells, ma'am! I accept your challenge!\" Valarie grinned coldly as she looked over at Cerina and motioned towards Dash as the young blonde girl walked over to me with a Duel Disk and said, \"Good luck.\" Dash nodded as he looked at the Duel Disk with a curious face as Valarie sighed and said, \"You do know how to use a Duel Disk, right?\" Dash shook his head as he said, \"It's my first time holding one, ma'am.\" Valarie sighed as she said, \"Strap the Duel Disk onto your left arm. After that, add your deck to the Duel Deck recognizer and shuffle port. It'll automatically shuffle your deck and it'll serve as your playing field and life point counter.\"\n\nDash nodded and did as he was told, the Duel Disk activating as soon as he placed his deck into the Deck port. He frowned as the Duel Disk slipped down his arm slightly and said, \"It's a bit too big for my arm.\" Valarie snapped as she shouted, \"That doesn't matter! Just draw your cards and duel!\" Dash flinched as he drew his cards and looked at his hand and thought, 'Mom, Dad, watch over me in this match.'\n\n\"LET'S DUEL!\", Valarie and Dash shoutedas Valarie stated, \"Very well, ladies first! And from my hand, I shall activate the Spell card Reinforcement of the Army! This card shall allow me to add a Level 4 or lower Warrior-type monster to my hand, and the card I choose is Goblindbergh! Now I shall summon Goblinbergh in Attack mode, and since I summoned him, his Special ability activates as well as the special ability of Kagetokage in my hand!\" Dash frowned as he said, \"Ok, so what do they do?\" Valarie grinned as she said, \"First off, Kagetokage's effect goes into play when I Normal Summon a Level 4 monster. It automatically allows me to Special Summon it to the field! And Goblindbergh also allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster as well to my field, then it switches itself to Defense mode! So, I now Special Summon my Level 4 Moonlit Papillon to the field in Attack mode!\" Dash's eyes widened as Valarie's field was immediately swarmed by three monsters. \"Wow, three monsters in one move?! You're pretty good!\", he exclaimed, only for Valarie to say, \"I now build the Overlay network with Goblindbergh and Kagetokage! I Xyz Summon Rank 4: King of the Feral Imps! Pretty rare for a person other than Seto Kaiba to have the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon in their decks.\" Dash grinned as he said, \"My parents built this deck with me! With regular visits to Amaria, getting these cards were a piece of cake! Even though you have those monsters in your hand, you cannot summon them without sacrificing two monsters on your field, as your field is empty right now.\"\n\nDash wagged his finger and said, \"Patience, lady! I haven't finished my move! Next, I shall activate the Spell card Twin Twister! By discarding a card, I can destroy up to two Spell or Trap cards on the field! I shall discard one of my Blue-Eyes in order to destroy your facedown cards!\" Valarie growled as her facedown cards were destroyed as she said, \"So what if you destroyed my traps?! You still have nothing to protect your Life Points!\" Dash grinned as he said, \"By revealing that I have a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand, I can Special Summon this: The Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Take flight, my mighty monster!\" Valarie's eyes widened as Dash's monster appeared before him, roaring loudly at her and her monsters. 'So that's Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon….this is the first time I have ever seen it before! This child is definitely something else.', Valarie thought to herself. \"While Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon is on the field, it is treated as Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Now, Blue-Eyes, attack her King of the Feral Imps with Burst Stream of Destruction!\" Valarie growled loudly as her monster was destroyed, her Life Points dropping from 8000 to 7300. \"Big mistake, kid. I shall definitely enjoying destroying you.\", Valarie stated.\n\nMeanwhile, behind Valarie, Cerina looked over at Dash and whispered, \"This kid's really good. Out of all the times that Mother has dueled, I've never seen her ever get damaged so quickly.\" Kelly frowned as she looked towards the sky and said, \"It's just a lucky shot. Mom is definitely going to win this duel. Right, Vickie?\" Victoria nodded silently as she continued to watch the duel, Cerina keeping her eyes on Dash as he stated, \"I shall now enter Main Phase 2 and place a monster in Defense mode. Since I Special Summoned Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, I am able to summon again this turn. I shall end this turn with one card facedown. However, your Alternative White Dragon definitely had more bite than Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. You definitely messed up.\" Dash looked at Valarie coldly as he said, \"I didn't mess up. I have two Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragons, and both of them were the last cards that were added to my deck before…..before my parents passed. So, I made a vow before I took this challenge: Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon will be my key to victory in this duel and my key to a better future!\"\n\nValarie's eyes widened as she thought, 'This kid has a fierce will. So, since I summoned Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's effect, Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's ability is negated and Azure-Eyes is here to stay! Blue-Eyes, destroy Maestroke with your Burst Stream of Destruction!\" Blue-Eyes roared loudly as it launched its attack at Valarie's Maestroke, the lone Djinn yelling as it was hit by the legendary dragon's ultimate blast. Valarie growled as she said, \"You are a fool if you think that'll destroy my Maestroke! By removing his last Overlay Unit, my Maestroke doesn't get destroyed! You won't be able to use Blue-Eyes White Dragon to deplete my Life Points now! I'm still standing!\"\n\nDash smiled as he said, \"You forgot what I said earlier.\" Valarie blinked as she tilted her heard and said, \"Huh? What did I forget?\" Dash looked over at Cerina and said, \"Why don't you enlighten my future mother….uhhh, what is your name?\" Cerina blushed embarrassingly as she said, \"C-Cerina. My name is Cerina.\" Dash smiled as he looked at the other two and said, \"Looks like we're going to be family soon. Tell Valarie why, Cerina.\" Valarie looked at Cerina as she nervously fidgeted with her dress and said, \"Umm….I think you said something about winning this duel with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon?\" Dash nodded as he said, \"That's correct!\" Valarie turned her attention to Dash and said, \"Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon? But how?! You don't have….wait! You couldn't possibly have drawn another Tuner monster, did you?!\" Dash smiled widely as he revealed the card he had drew, Valarie's eyes staring back at Sage with Eyes of Blue in his hand. \"I shall now summon Sage with Eyes of Blue! And since I Normal summoned him, I can add a Level 1 Tuner monster to my hand that isn't Sage with Eyes of Blue. And now I shall tune Sage with Eyes of Blue with Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Take flight once again, BLUE-EYES SPIRIT DRAGON!\"\n\nValarie stared as Dash's Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon emerged once again from his Extra Deck, it glowing with a pale white aura behind him. She frowned as she said, \"It won't be enough. Go on, launch your attack!\" Dash grinned as he said, \"I definitely will attack! Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, attack and destroy Maestroke the Symphony Djinn!\" Valarie frowned as Maestroke yelled as it was disintegrated by Azure-Eyes' attack, watching as Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon roared loudly at her. \"Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, attack Valarie directly!\" Valarie yelled as the dragon's attacked knocked her to the ground, her three daughters and husband immediately running to her, only for her to say, \"Stay back! Do not interfere with the duel!\" She stood back to her feet as her Life Points dropped to 2300. \"Not bad, kid. Not bad at all. I am guessing it was your parents that taught you how to duel like this?\", Valarie stated. Dash placed a hand around his locket and gripped it tightly as he said, \"They did…anyway, it's your move.\" Valarie nodded as she said, \"My turn, I draw!\" Valarie looked at the card she drew and thought, 'Even if I play this card, I have definitely lost. Look like I am taking this boy home.' She returned her attention to Dash and said, \"I shall play one card facedown and end my turn! Your move!\"\n\n\"This is it! My turn now, I draw! And now, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's ability activates once again! I shall bring back Blue-Eyes White Dragon back to the field!\", Dash said before Valarie said, \"Hold it! I shall activate my own copy of Solemn Warning! With it, I shall pay 2000 Life Points to stop your Azure-Eyes in its tracks and obliterate it! So long, Azure-Eyes! See you never!\" Dash groaned as he shielded himself, his dragon roaring loudly as it was destroyed in a brilliant flash of white. 'Sorry, Azure-Eyes….your destruction shall not be in vain!', Dash thought as he looked at Valarie with a serious face. \"Even though you destroyed my Azure-Eyes, you are completely defenseless and with 200 Life Points left, this duel is over! Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, end this NOW!\", Dash exclaimed, watching as Valarie's Life Points drop to zero. Valarie disengaged her Duel Disk as she walked over to Sykes and said, \"I shall be taking him with me. Shall we take care of the paperwork now?\"\n\nMr. Sykes, who was still in awe of Dash's victory, was shocked when Valarie had said that. He cleared his throat as he rubbed his hands and said, \"Very well, Mrs. Anderson! If you and your husband could follow me, we could get the paperwork taken care of right away!\" Dash sighed as Valarie and her husband walked past him, Cerina and her sisters walked up to Dash as she said, \"Congratulations on your win, Dash. Looks like we're going to be brother and sisters.\" Dash nodded as Kelly stated, \"Don't get too excited, runt. We Andersons don't tolerate failure, so if you even screw up once, you're getting dropped off back here!\" Victoria nodded as she silently said, \"Never lose….be the best.\" Dash blinked as Victoria and Kelly walked back to the limo, leaving Cerina and Dash alone as Cerina said, \"Sorry about those two. They are always like that. I've always wanted a brother, and now I have an older one.\" Dash smiled as Valarie walked up behind them and said, \"The paperwork is done. Get in the car, you two. We're going home.\"\n\nWith that being said, Dash finally was free from the orphanage. However, he realized that his future wasn't going to be as kind as he imagined. Every day, Valarie burned into his mind how dueling was not a means for fun, but a means to an end for power and money. Four years had passed and then…\n\nDash looked at himself in the mirror as he sported his brand new Duel Academy uniform, his mother Valarie tying up his hair as she said, \"Your first step on taking over the world of Dueling is to enter Duel Academy. I just want to have fun. How many times must I say that?\" Valarie sighed as she said, \"Dueling is not fun. It is only necessary to make money and show off your power.\" Dash rolled his eyes as he said, \"Cerina doesn't think that way. She believes I should have fun with the thing I do best.\" Valarie frowned as she said, \"Cerina may be a lawyer, but she knows that the important thing is to win and be better than the rest. I expect the same from you.\" Valarie finally finished with Dash's hair as she said, \"Your flight leaves in an hour. I suggest getting yourself ready.\" As Valarie left Dash alone, he stared at himself in the mirror as he untied his hair so it would fall naturally behind his back, his left eye being completely covered by the blue strands of hair he had. He growled as he punched the mirror, shattering it immediately. He closed his eyes as he thought of the four years of training Valarie put him through, both mind and body. He unbuckled his blazer and reached for his locket as he opened it to see a photo of his mom and dad staring back at him along with a photo of him and Cerina, the only member of the Anderson family who treated him as family smiling back at him. He smiled softly as he said, \"Wish me luck, Mom and Dad. Cerina, I'll make sure to message you each day to let you know I am doing ok.\" He then thought of the Duel Academy entrance exams to the duel between the two twins and Mokuba Kaiba. 'Onyx Sairenji and Crystal Noroi…those two definitely rub me the wrong way….', he thought silently to himself.\n\nAs time passed, Dash finally arrived to the airport and boarded his flight to Academy Island. As the time passed, his mind wandered as the plane finally landed at the Amaria Branch…\n\nDash was one of the first to step off the plane onto the island. He immediately removed the PDA he received back on the plane and thought to himself, 'According to this, I am in room 605. May as well go ahead and get settled in.' As Dash walked towards the Obelisk campus, he passed by the War of Paradoxes monument to see the Aelitatrix Bearer saluting amongst the other members of the Celestial Guard. Dash smirked as he bowed slightly and said, \"Thank you for all your hard work, Celestial Guard.\" He finally continued along his way as he passed by a tree, hearing a loud rip as the right sleeve of his blazer got caught by a branch. \"Aw, really? ….Oh well, can't be helped.\", Dash stated as he ripped the remainder of the sleeve off as he walked up to the doors of the Obelisk Blue dorm and sighed softly, only to stop before he entered inside. 'Wait! I need to do something right quick!', he thought as he immediately returned to the tree from earlier. He immediately placed the bag that he was carrying on the ground as he removed his deck from his deck box and placed it in the small steel box he kept from his years in the orphanage. He immediately began to dig near the tree with his hands, making a decent sized hole as he placed the deck into the hole. 'Sorry, Mom and Dad. I don't think I deserve to use the deck we made together after what Mother did to me. I always believed that Dueling was meant to be fun, but now….she made it seem like Dueling for fun isn't worth the trouble. Maybe someday, I'll come back for it.', Dash thought, placing a hand on the box as he heard a slight roar, immediately realizing that it was the roar of Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. 'Stay safe, partner.'\n\nWith that, Dash buried his deck once again and time sped up to the present day, Dash completing his story of how he came to be here at Duel Academy…\n\n\"And that's my tale.\", Dash said, still dancing with me in his arms. I was amazed on how much Dash had to deal with to get to this point. \"Wow, I cannot believe that all of that happened to you. I also cannot believe that you are a Blue-Eyes user. Why haven't you used that deck against Onyx and me?\", I stated, keeping true to my disguise. Dash shook his head as he said, \"I don't deserve to use it. Dueling is just a means to an end. It is the way to show my power and my drive to be the best and overtake the world of Duel Monsters and prove that the Andersons are the best of the best.\" I shook my head as I said, \"You used to believe that Dueling was meant to be fun. I believe that that side of you is still there, buried deep within.\" Dash sighed as the music immediately stopped, the dance finally coming to an end. He bowed slightly as he said, \"Thanks for the dance, Crystal. It was…..fun.\" I nodded as he leaned in close to me and kissed my cheek, my face burning red out of embarrassment. \"W-What was that for?\", I asked. The next thing I saw surprised me to my very core: Dash was smiling for the very first time since I had met him. \"For actually coming with me to the dance. Also, for being a great listener to my story. For that, I can only say thank you.\", Dash stated as he bowed again and said, \"With that, I shall take my leave. Also, give a message to your brother: I expect another duel soon, this time I will defeat both you and him.\" My eyes widened when he said that as he left me behind, leaving me completely speechless and my masculinity feeling entirely shattered. The crowd of students began leaving by the droves, leaving me behind with Crystal and the others.\n\nCrystal sighed as she removed her wig, straightening her hair back out as she said, \"Well, I certainly had fun tonight!\" She looked at me as she said, \"Onyx, what's wrong? Your face is beet red!\" I immediately removed the wig I was wearing and said, \"Say another word, and I will make you regret it, sis. My masculinity is long gone because of this!\" Crystal raised an eyebrow when I said that, her attention returning to the blush on my face as she said, \"Onyx, what did Dash do to you?\" I shook my head furiously as I said, \"Never mind! Just get me back home!\" Robin walked up to me and said, \"Onyx, that was really cute how you let Dash kiss you on the cheek. I can't believe you pulled off your disguise that well.\" Everyone went silent as their eyes landed on me, my face turning even redder when Robin said that. I immediately walked over to Crystal and said, \"Well guys, I will see you all in class tomorrow. None of you will ever speak of this night ever again, or I will make your school terms here a LIVING HELL.\" Crystal's eyes widened as I said that, immediately shouting my name in shock, only to get completely ignored as I dragged her out of the Arena, leaving everyone behind.\n\nWith that, the night finally came to an end. As I hoped, everyone immediately tried to put the night into the back of their minds so they would never speak of it again. As for me, I couldn't sleep as my mind kept being assaulted by the memory of Dash kissing my cheek….\n\nI gasped loudly as I sat up in my bed, furiously rubbing the cheek Dash kissed me as I thought, 'Oh man, why didn't I move or something?! I'm in a relationship with my sister! This is so wrong!' I sighed softly as I looked over to my sister sleeping and immediately imagined her in a lewd situation, grinning as my blanket was immediately tented by the elephant in my boxers. 'Well, with this, I'll definitely be capable of keeping my mind off of him for the remainder of the night.', I thought as I finally laid back down, letting my mind wander into the world of perverted dreams.\n\nWith that, I finally lost myself to sleep, not having a single care in the world. However, tomorrow was another day and another adventure would be awaiting me and my friends. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the island….\n\nThe wind whipped slightly as a boat slowly made its way to the pier. Ch. 13 – The School Dance

It's been a few weeks since the Exhibition Duel I had with Akio. Even now, I cannot contain the urge to duel with him once more. Of course, that would have to wait until a later time, for there was something else happening soon that was a bit troublesome: the School Dance….

I yawned slightly as the bell for classes to end rang as I said, "Another day done, now time for some fun! So guys, shall we return to the Slifer Red dorm for some lunch?" Mikey shook his head as he said, "Sorry, Onyx. My first stop is our bedroom. My outfit for tonight has arrived, so I got to see if it fits." I raised an eyebrow when Mikey said that. "Outfit? What outfit?", I asked. "My suit for the School Dance. It's tonight, ya know!", Mikey stated. I groaned slightly when he said that and replied, "Oh yeah, I forgot that it was tonight. I really hate dancing. Well, how about you, sis? You want to join me to the cafeteria?"

Crystal smiled softly to me and said, "Sorry, Onyx. I still got to ask someone out to the dance for tonight. I knew you wouldn't go, so I am still searching for a date." I tilted my head as I said, "Who did you have in mind?" Crystal looked back towards the back of the class, seeing Akio standing at the door talking to Tea. My jaw dropped when I realized that she was staring directly at him. "You're going to ask Akio out?", I asked. She nodded as she said, "That's not a problem, is it? I mean, you're not going to the dance." I shook my head and said, "No, not at all! I think you made a good choice. I take it you already have a date to the dance too, Mikey?" Mikey nodded with a blush as Jessie said, "He asked me out! Isn't that so cute?" I chuckled as I nudged him in the arm and said, "Good on you, mate. You finally did it." Mikey laughed slightly as he saw Tea walk away from Akio and then said, "Go on, Crystal! You better ask him before someone beats you to it!" Crystal nodded as she gathered her things and immediately left us behind to ask Akio out. I looked at the two as Akio told Crystal yes and they immediately left the classroom. I sighed as I looked at Mikey and Jessie leave together, leaving me alone in the classroom. 'Well, Onyx. Guess you'll be going to lunch alone today.', I thought silently to myself as I gathered my stuff and left the classroom.

Meanwhile, over in the Obelisk Blue campus….

"No!? What do you mean, no!?", Dash exclaimed to Kaitlyn. "Sorry, Dash. I don't want to go to the dance with you. Besides, I've already asked someone out. Besides, I'm only interested in girls. You know that.", the weasel stated to Dash. "But you're the only friend I got here in Obelisk Blue. Ever since I've been handed defeat by those Slifer slacker twins, no one gives me the time of day here!", Dash exclaimed. Kaitlyn shook her head as she said, "Sorry, Dash. Maybe there is someone on the island who may say yes. Good luck, you have three hours." Dash growled as Kaitlyn walked away from him as he said, "This isn't good. I've asked practically every student in both Obelisk Blue and Exodia Purple and they all said no! Which means….I've got to ask people from Ra Yellow or Slifer Red." He gulped audibly as he ran out of the dorm to the Ra Yellow campus. As time passed, he continued to frantically ask everyone he could find, from students to possibly some teachers too.

Back at the Slifer Red dorm….

I hummed softly as music played in my headphones as Mikey and Crystal looked over their outfits. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see that Mikey was sporting a red suit jacket with a white button-up shirt and a blue bowtie alongside a pair of black shorts. He was also wears a pair of brown dress shoes and white kneesocks. Wow, I've never seen him wear anything like that before. He's always been kind of laidback and wore anything that was comfortable. I still saw he was sporting his single glove that he always wore, so that much wasn't different. As for Crystal, she was looking at a sundress that Mom and Dad had sent to her which was pink in color with a purple underside with white trim and a large red bow tied around the waist along with a white bracelet. Definitely one of Mom's creations from the stitch work. Crystal walked over to me and said, "What do you think, Onyx? Think it would look cute on me?"

I smiled as I said, "Of course it would, sis!" She smiled as a knock at the door was heard. She looked at me and Mikey and said, "Were any of you expecting any company?" I tilted my head as Mikey said, "That's probably our chaperone!" He walked over to the door and opened it to get immediately hugged by his father. "Hi, Dad!", he said as Jonathan stated, "Good to see you again, kiddo! And it's good to see you two as well, Crystal and Onyx!" Crystal smiled as she said, "It's great to see you again, Mr. Redheart. How are things back at KaibaCorp?" Jonathan smiled as he said, "Never better, young one. We are working a secret project right now, but we are certain that it'll be a great success in the long run!" Curiosity kicked in when Mikey's father said that and I asked, "A secret project? What kind of secret project?" Jonathan shook his head and said, "Now, Onyx. I cannot give away that kind of information, unfortunately. I can say this however: the world of Duel Monsters shall be revolutionized with this project."

"That does sound interesting! But Dad, the dance isn't for another two and a half hours. Why are you here so early?", Mikey asked. "Does a father need a reason to come see his only son?", Jonathan stated. Mikey smiled as he hugged his father again, only to get interrupted by another knock at the door. "Well now, our door certainly is busy today. Who is it?", Mikey asked. "It's Dash! I need to talk to the Noroi girl!", Dash's voice rang out from the other side. Both Crystal and I were in shock when we heard Dash's voice from the other side of the door, but Mikey immediately let go of his father and immediately opened the door and said, "Dash, come on in." Dash shook his head and said, "What I have to talk about to the Noroi girl….sorry, Crystal, is a bit important and I'd like it if she stepped out here into the hallway." Crystal placed her dress down on the bed and said, "You want to talk to me? Ok then, let's talk." She immediately walked out of the door and closed it behind her, I immediately jumped from my bed and walked over to the door and placed an ear to it to listen to what was going on outside, only to feel my sister hit her fist on the door precisely where my ear was. "OW!", I exclaimed loudly.

On the other side of the door….

Crystal smiled as she heard me yell on the other side of the door and said, "Sorry about that, Onyx is pretty bad for eavesdropping. In any case, what happened to you? You look a bit rattled, Dash. Have you been running a lot today?" Dash panted slightly, pretty exhausted from his day today. Immediately he bowed low and said, "Crystal, please go to the dance with me!" Crystal's eyes widened when Dash said those words. "Wait, what?", she asked in disbelief. "I've asked every girl on campus to go the dance with me and all of them have said no! My mother is supposed to be my chaperone tonight, and she has given me explicit instructions that I MUST go to the dance in order to uphold the Anderson name. I wasn't even planning to go, but she is forcing my hand here!", Dash stated, still bowing in front of Crystal. Crystal looked away nervously as she thought, 'Oh no, what do I do? I know how much Dash and his mom don't get along, so if she is forcing his hand, Dash is definitely in trouble! On the other hand, I've already asked Akio out to the dance, so I can't just say no to him and go out with Dash! Think, Crystal, think!'

As the thoughts raced through Crystal's mind, she could tell that Dash was definitely desperate on asking her to the dance. Hesitantly, she finally gave in….

"Dash, please stand up. Of course I will go with you.", Crystal said nervously. Dash stood up and looked me in the eyes and said, "Really? You'd really do that?" Crystal nodded in reply as she said, "Well, like you said, you've asked everyone and you came to me. Your mom is forcing your hand and we all know what kind of trouble she can stir up, so yes, I'll go with you. Now go, go get yourself cleaned up. You've still got another two and a half hours, alright?" Dash nodded as he walked away towards the elevator, leaving Crystal behind as she walked into the room once more. As she walked back into the room, she immediately said, "Onyx, I'm in big trouble and I need your help out of this one!" I raised an eyebrow when Crystal stated that, completely lost on what she was asking me.

Once Crystal settled down, she told me exactly what Dash had wanted to ask her. I was quite speechless over the entire debacle, but what she said next completely threw me for a loop…

"You want me to do what?!", I exclaimed. "I want you to go to the dance as me with Dash while I go to the dance with Akio as you.", Crystal replied. "Ok, even if that would work, first off, I'M NOT A GIRL! Secondly, we may be twins, but we have subtle differences that Dash would easily spot!", I replied. "Nothing that a wig, a fake breast form, a fake tail, and some makeup wouldn't fix. Come on, Onyx, I'm begging you here!", Crystal stated. I sighed softly as I looked at Mikey and his father, both of them sharing a look that says to do as Crystal says. I rolled my eyes as I said, "Fine, fine! But you and Akio have to stay perfectly hidden and away from Dash's sight, otherwise, we may end up blowing our cover. Understand?!" Crystal nodded as she stated, "Alright then, we best get prepared. We've only got a few hours to turn me into you and you into me!"

Now, as time passed, Crystal worked her hardest to get us both prepared for the dance tonight. While that occurred, Mikey passed on the word to Akio and the others of our predicament and what should be done at the dance tonight. By the time we were done, we had less than an hour to report to the Obelisk Arena….

Crystal and I walked out of the bathroom, both of us wearing our costumes. At first glance, everyone was speechless on how well we pulled everything off. Akio walked over to the costumed Crystal and said, "Think you two can pull it off?" Crystal sighed and said, "It's not me that we should be worried about." She looked right over to me when she said that, seeing me rub my back in pain. "Man, this breastform is heavy on my chest, it's killing my back! Not to mention you had to make the bow on this dress even tighter. Why, sis, why?", I stated with a groan. "It was the only way to make it look believe, Onyx. Don't worry, the dance shouldn't be that long. You'll do fine, I hope.", Crystal stated. Mikey then walked up and said, "Well then, everyone. Shall we head to the Obelisk campus?" I nodded as everyone walked out of our bedroom to the elevator. As it lowered us to the bottom floor, the doors opened to reveal Ben, Leslie, Robin, and Ranko standing in front of it with their chaperones. Leslie walked up to me as he looked me and Crystal over and said, "Well, the costumes look believable enough. But, are you sure you two will be able to pull this off?" Crystal nodded as she held Akio close and said, "As long as Dash doesn't realize that both of us are at the dance, he wouldn't get suspicious. So, let's us hurry!" Dr. Redheart cleared his throat as he said, "Very well, children. Let's head to the Obelisk campus!"

As the time passed, we finally arrived at the Obelisk Arena. Everyone made their separate paths as I was left alone at the entrance, looking around for Dash until….

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder as I looked behind me to see Dash walking in with his mother Valarie. I gulped as she stared coldly at me, but I was positive that she was staring more at Crystal than myself. She sighed as she looked at Dash and said, "Of all the girls on the campus, you decide to go with the Slifer brat's sister?" Dash frowned as he snatched his arm from his mother's grip and said, "At least she said yes, Mother! Come on, Crystal." I nodded as Dash took my hand and walked away from his mother, thinking to myself how glad I was that this disguise was actually working. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Akio and my sister dancing alongside Mikey and Jessie. I sighed as I thought, 'Relax, Onyx. You can do this. It's only for an hour, so try to keep your cool until it is over.' Dash finally stopped as he turned to me and bowed slightly before saying, "Thank you again, Crystal. I know that you have every reason to have said no to me earlier, but I had my hands tied on this one." I raised my eyebrow as I said, "Because of your mother, right?" Dash stood straight as he mocked his mother's voice and said, "Image is everything, Dash! You are an Anderson and you must uphold the Anderson name at Duel Academy! Despite your many recent losses, I shall not allow you to not attend the School Dance! You must find a date and you must show that we Andersons are the best of the best!" He sighed as he said, "I really could care less of our family image. All I care about is dueling, nothing more and nothing less." I tilted my head as he held his hand out to me and said, "Shall we dance, milady?" I flinched slightly when he said that, but I reluctantly took his hand as he placed his other hand on my hip as we started to dance slowly around the floor. We were silent for a few minutes, mostly due to me being embarrassed, but then I finally swallowed my pride and asked, "So, you really don't get along much with your mother, huh? Why is that? I mean, she's your mom, right?"

Dash's eyes narrowed as I asked that question then I immediately said, "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to annoy you!" He shook his head as he spun me around and said, "She's not my mother." My eyes widened when he said that as he continued to say, "She's my adoptive mother. My parents has long since passed away." I looked away slightly as I said, "I'm sorry to hear that, Dash. So you're not an Anderson by blood. Who were you back then?" He looked up towards the ceiling as he said, "I was once Dash Mitchells. My parents were Bryan and Jacquelyn Mitchells, two duelists on the pro circuit, just like Chancellor Muto and Chancellor Kaiba. Back then, I was one of the nicest kids you could ever meet and I loved dueling more than anything." I was silent as Dash continued to talk and say, "I was six when it happened. It was on my birthday and my parents had sent me a new card to add to my deck a few days prior. Unfortunately, I never did get to see them. They died in a car crash and I was left alone. I was placed into an orphanage a few days later and it was the worst years of my life. It's where I got this scar over my eye."

My eyes widened when he said that. "Someone in the orphanage you were in did that to you?!", I exclaimed. Dash nodded as the music in the room changed as he said, "I stayed in that orphanage for four years. The only escape I had in that horrible place was my cards. Without them, I doubt I wouldn't have gotten adopted." I raised an eyebrow when he said that as he stated, "I was twelve when they appeared: the Anderson family. There was Valarie and her husband Jack Anderson. Even though it was Jack who held the Anderson name, it was Valarie who was the true powerhouse of the family. Along with them were her three daughters Kelly, Victoria, and Cerina. Despite the fact that all three were pretty young, they were prodigies in the world of law, business, and science. However, the one thing Valarie despised more than anything is that she could never conceive a son to take over the world of dueling as the heir of the Solaris Gaming company." I looked at him as he said, "So that's why your mom adopted you: to have an heir for her company?" He shook his head and said, "It wasn't going to happen easily. Even now, I can see that day rather clearly."

When Dash said that, he closed his eyes as his mind went back four years ago to his time at the orphanage, when he was amongst other orphans as Valarie walked up to the superior of the orphanage, a rather short and overweight man….

"Oh, Mrs. Anderson! What a pleasure to have your lovely family visit our humble facility! My name is Jefferson Sykes and I am in charge of this orphanage. How may I help you today?", Mr. Sykes stated. She looked at the man and said, "I am here to adopt a young boy, one who shall be part of my family." When that was stated, Mr. Sykes rubbed his hands greedily as he said, "But of course! We have a fabulous variety of children here who are in need of a marvelous home. I am sure one of these young lads here suits your tastes?" Valarie stared at Sykes coldly as she said, "I have no need for any run-of-the-mill child! What I am looking for is a winner who would be worthy of being an heir to the Solaris corporation!" Sykes' eyes widened as he took a step back and said, "Yes, yes, of course! But, how do you intend on finding a son that way, if I may ask?" Valarie chuckled softly as she said, "Simple. I shall duel each child here, and whoever beats me, I shall adopt them. Jack!" Her husband flinched slightly as he covered his head with his hands and said, "Y-Yes, Valarie?" She scoffed as she said, "Honestly, you are pathetic. Get my Duel Disk from the car and make it quick."

As Jack did that, a young Dash was in awe as this was happening. He immediately slipped away from the crowd of boys as he ran over to a dead tree and said, "Mom, Dad, did you hear that? If I beat that lady in a duel, I may just get a chance of having a new family! I hope you two will be with me, because I am definitely going to win that duel!" Dash smiled as he picked up a nearby hand shovel and started digging at the base of the tree, getting himself covered in dirt as he finally uncovered a small box. As this occurred, Valarie had already dueled ten of the young boys in the orphanage and won. She frowned deeply as she looked at Sykes and said, "Is this all you can muster, Sykes?" He flinched as he motioned to one of the nurses within the orphanage as she sent out other young boys to challenge Valarie. As Dash opened the box he uncovered, his eyes widened as he realized it was empty. 'What? No, where is it!? It should've been here!', he thought as a childish laugh was heard from behind him. He looked behind him as he saw three boys definitely three times his size, the one in the middle holding what looked to be a silver locket and a dueling deck. Dash's eyes were in horror as he said, "Nazo, give those back to me! They're mine!"

The middle boy giggled coldly as he said, "I don't know what you are talking about, Dashie! These belong to me! Raiko, Sado, tell this little bug that I found these fair and square!" The boy on the right, Raiko, nodded as he looked at Dash and said, "Nazo is right, Dash! The three of us decided to have a treasure hunt today!" Sado chimed in as he readjusted his glasses and said, "And we found a tiny box hidden underneath this very tree with that locket and deck! Now it belongs to the boss!" Tears of anger welled up in Dash's eyes as he said, "You're wrong! That locket and deck are the only things that I have left of my parents! Ever since I got into this hellhole, I promised that I would leave this place with them! Give them back! RIGHT NOW!" Nazo chuckled as walked over to Dash and said, "Now now, Dashie. No need to get all riled up. We wouldn't want you to have another accident like you did last time, WOULD WE?" As he said that, one of his hands were placed in front of Dash's eye, a small glint of light reflected from a pocketknife as Sado and Raiko chuckled maliciously. Tears continued to fall from Dash's eyes as a woman's voice rang out from the side of the building. "Hey, you three! That's enough of that! Give Dash back his things and report to the front immediately!", said a lady in a maid's dress. Nazo snorted as he looked at Dash and dropped the locket and his cards onto the ground. Dash immediately dropped to the ground to gather his things, but immediately yelled as Nazo stomped onto his hands then grabbed a fistful of his hair as he looked at him and said, "Listen to me, you little bitch. We are going to win this duel with this lady. We are a team, and if one of us wins, all of us wins. And then…..I may just convince her to take you with us. We could use a servant to clean our shoes." Nazo and his lackeys laughed as they walked around the front of the building, the maid immediately ran over to me as I shook my hands furiously to have the pain fade away quickly. The maid knelt down in front of me and said, "Are you alright, Dash?" Dash sniffled as he said, "I hate those three! They always bully me and hurt me! But I'll show them. I'll show everyone that Dash Mitchells always comes out on top! I will definitely beat the Anderson lady and get out of this place!" The maid smiled as she bandaged up Dash's hands and said, "That's the spirit, Dash. You cannot let anyone bring you down, otherwise, you'll never succeed in life."

Dash wiped away his tears as the maid collected his cards and locket and handed them to him as three loud yells of defeat were heard from the front of the orphanage. "Is that really everything your children can muster, Sykes?! I WANT A WINNER!", Valarie yelled cruelly. Sykes whimpered as he said, "But Mrs. Anderson, you've dueled every single boy here! ….Well, there is still one, but I doubt you'd waste your time with him. He's a bit of a weakling." Dash frowned as he ran around the building and said, "Let me make that decision for her, Mr. Sykes! I deserve a chance to duel too!" Valarie looked at me and said, "What is your name, child?" Dash frowned as he said, "My name is Dash Mitchells, ma'am! I accept your challenge!" Valarie grinned coldly as she looked over at Cerina and motioned towards Dash as the young blonde girl walked over to me with a Duel Disk and said, "Good luck." Dash nodded as he looked at the Duel Disk with a curious face as Valarie sighed and said, "You do know how to use a Duel Disk, right?" Dash shook his head as he said, "It's my first time holding one, ma'am." Valarie sighed as she said, "Strap the Duel Disk onto your left arm. After that, add your deck to the Duel Deck recognizer and shuffle port. It'll automatically shuffle your deck and it'll serve as your playing field and life point counter."

Dash nodded and did as he was told, the Duel Disk activating as soon as he placed his deck into the Deck port. He frowned as the Duel Disk slipped down his arm slightly and said, "It's a bit too big for my arm." Valarie snapped as she shouted, "That doesn't matter! Just draw your cards and duel!" Dash flinched as he drew his cards and looked at his hand and thought, 'Mom, Dad, watch over me in this match.'

"LET'S DUEL!", Valarie and Dash shoutedas Valarie stated, "Very well, ladies first! And from my hand, I shall activate the Spell card Reinforcement of the Army! This card shall allow me to add a Level 4 or lower Warrior-type monster to my hand, and the card I choose is Goblindbergh! Now I shall summon Goblinbergh in Attack mode, and since I summoned him, his Special ability activates as well as the special ability of Kagetokage in my hand!" Dash frowned as he said, "Ok, so what do they do?" Valarie grinned as she said, "First off, Kagetokage's effect goes into play when I Normal Summon a Level 4 monster. It automatically allows me to Special Summon it to the field! And Goblindbergh also allows me to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower monster as well to my field, then it switches itself to Defense mode! So, I now Special Summon my Level 4 Moonlit Papillon to the field in Attack mode!" Dash's eyes widened as Valarie's field was immediately swarmed by three monsters. "Wow, three monsters in one move?! You're pretty good!", he exclaimed, only for Valarie to say, "I now build the Overlay network with Goblindbergh and Kagetokage! I Xyz Summon Rank 4: King of the Feral Imps! And I shall immediately activate his special ability! By using one Overlay Unit, I can add one Reptile-type monster from my deck to my hand, and the monster I choose is Kagetokage! I shall end my turn with two cards facedown. It's your move, kid! Feeling overwhelmed yet?"

"Of course not, it's only the first move! Now it's my turn, I draw!", Dash exclaimed. He looked at his hand then at the field and thought, 'Alright, she has two monsters on the field and two facedown cards. My best bet is to rid her field of her back row first then take on her monsters. Watch this, Mom and Dad! I shall beat her with the deck that we built together!' Dash smiled as he placed his locket around his neck and said, "Alright, for my first move, I shall activate the Spell card The Melody of Awakening Dragon! With this card, I can discard a card from my hand and add two Dragon-type monsters with 3000 or less Attack points! So, by discarding my Maiden with Eyes of Blue to the Graveyard, I can add two Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my hand!" Valarie frowned as she said, "So you use a Blue-Eyes deck, huh kid? Pretty rare for a person other than Seto Kaiba to have the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon in their decks." Dash grinned as he said, "My parents built this deck with me! With regular visits to Amaria, getting these cards were a piece of cake! Speaking of which, I do hope we can have some once I win!" Valarie growled as she said softly, "A bit overconfident, aren't you? Even though you have those monsters in your hand, you cannot summon them without sacrificing two monsters on your field, as your field is empty right now."

Dash wagged his finger and said, "Patience, lady! I haven't finished my move! Next, I shall activate the Spell card Twin Twister! By discarding a card, I can destroy up to two Spell or Trap cards on the field! I shall discard one of my Blue-Eyes in order to destroy your facedown cards!" Valarie growled as her facedown cards were destroyed as she said, "So what if you destroyed my traps?! You still have nothing to protect your Life Points!" Dash grinned as he said, "By revealing that I have a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand, I can Special Summon this: The Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon! Take flight, my mighty monster!" Valarie's eyes widened as Dash's monster appeared before him, roaring loudly at her and her monsters. 'So that's Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon….this is the first time I have ever seen it before! This child is definitely something else.', Valarie thought to herself. "While Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon is on the field, it is treated as Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Now, Blue-Eyes, attack her King of the Feral Imps with Burst Stream of Destruction!" Valarie growled loudly as her monster was destroyed, her Life Points dropping from 8000 to 7300. "Big mistake, kid. I shall definitely enjoying destroying you.", Valarie stated.

Meanwhile, behind Valarie, Cerina looked over at Dash and whispered, "This kid's really good. Out of all the times that Mother has dueled, I've never seen her ever get damaged so quickly." Kelly frowned as she looked towards the sky and said, "It's just a lucky shot. Mom is definitely going to win this duel. Right, Vickie?" Victoria nodded silently as she continued to watch the duel, Cerina keeping her eyes on Dash as he stated, "I shall now enter Main Phase 2 and place a monster in Defense mode. Since I Special Summoned Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, I am able to summon again this turn. I shall end this turn with one card facedown. It's your move!" Valarie nodded as she said, "It's my move, I draw! And I shall summon my Level 4 Swallowtail Butterspy in Attack mode! And now I shall build the Overlay Network again with my Level 4 Moonlit Papillon and Swallowtail Butterspy! I Xyz Summon Number 101: Silent Honor ARK! This card shall begin your defeat!"

"Not if I have anything to say about it! I activate my Trap: SOLEMN WARNING! By paying 2000 Life Points, your ARK's summon is negated and it gets destroyed! Nice try! And since I know you have Kagetokage in your hand, you're out of moves this turn!" Valarie growled loudly then frowned as she said, "I end my turn." Dash grinned as he said, "My move! I draw! Wow, this duel is so much fun, Ms. Valarie! I thought I'd never get to have such a fun duel again! Ever since my parents passed, dueling was the only thing that had meaning to me….but it wasn't enough since many of the people here preferred to bully me more than duel me with honor." A vein popped into Valarie's forehead as she said, "Fun? You think dueling is FUN? Dueling is about power and money! You should remember that well, child!" Dash shook his head as he said, "You're wrong. Dueling is about having fun and making friends through each duel you have. I'll show you that I am right by doing this: I shall Flip Summon my facedown monster, The Sage with Eyes of Blue! Even though I cannot use its special ability, I can take advantage of the fact that my Sage is a Tuner monster! So now, I shall tune my Level 1 Sage with Eyes of Blue with Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon!"

Valarie's eyes widened as she thought, 'This kid can Synchro Summon?! That's a pretty advanced summoning method for a child his age!' Dash smiled confidently as he said, "The true source of a dragon's strength is not it's claws or it's flame! It's the dragon's fighting spirit! I Synchro Summon my ace monster: BLUE-EYES SPIRIT DRAGON!" Valarie chuckled softly as she saw Dash's monster appear before him as she said, "I am impressed your skills. However, your Alternative White Dragon definitely had more bite than Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. You definitely messed up." Dash looked at Valarie coldly as he said, "I didn't mess up. I have two Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragons, and both of them were the last cards that were added to my deck before…..before my parents passed. So, I made a vow before I took this challenge: Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon will be my key to victory in this duel and my key to a better future!"

Valarie's eyes widened as she thought, 'This kid has a fierce will. Maybe….just maybe. Keep surprising me, kid.' Dash frowned as he said, "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, attack Valarie directly!" Valarie groaned loudly as her Life Points dropped again until her counter read that she had 4800 Life Points left. "With that, I shall place a card facedown and end my turn. It's your move." Valarie glared at Dash as she said, "My move now, I draw! I shall summon Goblindbergh, and you know what that means! Kagetokage's ability kicks in from my hand and it shall join my Goblindbergh!" Dash immediately stepped in as he said, "Due to the effect of Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, neither player can Special Summon 2 or more monsters during their turn!" Valarie grinned as she said, "It's a good thing that I haven't Special Summoned twice then! I shall build the Overlay Network with Goblindbergh and Kagetokage! I Xyz Summon Maestroke the Symphony Djinn in Defense mode! And now I shall activate his Special Ability. By removing one Overlay Unit, I can flip your Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon facedown!" Dash's eyes widened as his monster was immediately switched into facedown Defense position. Valarie thought to herself as she thought, 'This'll buy me some time to turn this around!' She looked at Dash as she said, "With that, I shall end my turn. It's your move!"

Dash closed his eyes as he thought, 'Valarie is stalling for time. I am definitely not going to let this opportunity slide. Time for me to use Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's ability to push her further into a corner!' He looked at Valarie as he said, "It's my turn! I draw! And now I shall flip my Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon back into Attack position! But he won't be here for long since I will now activate his Special Ability!" Valarie raised an eyebrow as she said, "Special Ability? What does it do?" Dash grinned as he said, "What it does is allow me to tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon in order to summon another Dragon-type Synchro monster that shares the LIGHT attribute, but it must be destroyed by the end of my turn. So now, I shall tribute Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon in order to Special Summon the Level 9 Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon in Defense mode!" Once that was said, Dash's Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon emerged from his Extra Deck, its tail wrapped around the young boy gently as he bared its fangs angrily at Valarie. "What a magnificent creature you are…", Valarie said in awe as Dash stated, "When Azure-Eyes is Special Summoned, it's ability activates. For the remainder of this turn, Dragon-type monsters I currently control cannot be targeted by card effects until the end of my next turn! So, since I summoned Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's effect, Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon's ability is negated and Azure-Eyes is here to stay! Next, I shall play one card facedown and end my turn! It's your move, Valarie!"

Valarie frowned as she said, "It's my move now, I draw!" She looked at the card she drew as she said, "I shall play this card facedown and end my turn. It's your move." Dash grinned as he said, "This duel is mine! I draw! And since this is my Standby Phase, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's second ability activates! I can target one Normal-type monster from my Graveyard and Special Summon it to my field!" Valarie looked at Dash angrily as she said, "But you don't have any Normal monsters in your Graveyard!" Dash smirked as he said, "Have you forgotten about the Blue-Eyes White Dragon I sent to the Graveyard at the beginning of the duel?! He's back! Rise from your eternal slumber, Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Valarie closed her eyes as she said, "So you have enough firepower to take out my Djinn. But it matters not! I'll still be in this duel and I'll have another turn to turn this duel around!"

"Wanna bet?", Dash stated with a confident grin. "What?", Valarie replied. "The field is set and this duel is mine. I activate the Spell card I played facedown earlier in the duel! Go, Burst Stream of Destruction!" Valarie's eyes widened in shock when she saw that card. "You had that card on the field on the field the entire time?!", she exclaimed loudly. "That's right, and this card is just as devastating as it sounds! When I play this when a Blue-Eyes White Dragon is on the field, all of my opponent's face-up monsters are destroyed! But at a cost, Blue-Eyes won't be able to attack this turn! But that doesn't matter because I still have more coming your way. Blue-Eyes, destroy Maestroke with your Burst Stream of Destruction!" Blue-Eyes roared loudly as it launched its attack at Valarie's Maestroke, the lone Djinn yelling as it was hit by the legendary dragon's ultimate blast. Valarie growled as she said, "You are a fool if you think that'll destroy my Maestroke! By removing his last Overlay Unit, my Maestroke doesn't get destroyed! You won't be able to use Blue-Eyes White Dragon to deplete my Life Points now! I'm still standing!"

Dash smiled as he said, "You forgot what I said earlier." Valarie blinked as she tilted her heard and said, "Huh? What did I forget?" Dash looked over at Cerina and said, "Why don't you enlighten my future mother….uhhh, what is your name?" Cerina blushed embarrassingly as she said, "C-Cerina. My name is Cerina." Dash smiled as he looked at the other two and said, "Looks like we're going to be family soon. Tell Valarie why, Cerina." Valarie looked at Cerina as she nervously fidgeted with her dress and said, "Umm….I think you said something about winning this duel with Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon?" Dash nodded as he said, "That's correct!" Valarie turned her attention to Dash and said, "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon? But how?! You don't have….wait! You couldn't possibly have drawn another Tuner monster, did you?!" Dash smiled widely as he revealed the card he had drew, Valarie's eyes staring back at Sage with Eyes of Blue in his hand. "I shall now summon Sage with Eyes of Blue! And since I Normal summoned him, I can add a Level 1 Tuner monster to my hand that isn't Sage with Eyes of Blue. And now I shall tune Sage with Eyes of Blue with Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Take flight once again, BLUE-EYES SPIRIT DRAGON!"

Valarie stared as Dash's Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon emerged once again from his Extra Deck, it glowing with a pale white aura behind him. She frowned as she said, "It won't be enough. Go on, launch your attack!" Dash grinned as he said, "I definitely will attack! Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon, attack and destroy Maestroke the Symphony Djinn!" Valarie frowned as Maestroke yelled as it was disintegrated by Azure-Eyes' attack, watching as Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon roared loudly at her. "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, attack Valarie directly!" Valarie yelled as the dragon's attacked knocked her to the ground, her three daughters and husband immediately running to her, only for her to say, "Stay back! Do not interfere with the duel!" She stood back to her feet as her Life Points dropped to 2300. "Not bad, kid. Not bad at all. I am guessing it was your parents that taught you how to duel like this?", Valarie stated. Dash placed a hand around his locket and gripped it tightly as he said, "They did…anyway, it's your move." Valarie nodded as she said, "My turn, I draw!" Valarie looked at the card she drew and thought, 'Even if I play this card, I have definitely lost. Look like I am taking this boy home.' She returned her attention to Dash and said, "I shall play one card facedown and end my turn! Your move!"

"This is it! My turn now, I draw! And now, Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon's ability activates once again! I shall bring back Blue-Eyes White Dragon back to the field!", Dash said before Valarie said, "Hold it! I shall activate my own copy of Solemn Warning! With it, I shall pay 2000 Life Points to stop your Azure-Eyes in its tracks and obliterate it! So long, Azure-Eyes! See you never!" Dash groaned as he shielded himself, his dragon roaring loudly as it was destroyed in a brilliant flash of white. 'Sorry, Azure-Eyes….your destruction shall not be in vain!', Dash thought as he looked at Valarie with a serious face. "Even though you destroyed my Azure-Eyes, you are completely defenseless and with 200 Life Points left, this duel is over! Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, end this NOW!", Dash exclaimed, watching as Valarie's Life Points drop to zero. Valarie disengaged her Duel Disk as she walked over to Sykes and said, "I shall be taking him with me. Shall we take care of the paperwork now?"

Mr. Sykes, who was still in awe of Dash's victory, was shocked when Valarie had said that. He cleared his throat as he rubbed his hands and said, "Very well, Mrs. Anderson! If you and your husband could follow me, we could get the paperwork taken care of right away!" Dash sighed as Valarie and her husband walked past him, Cerina and her sisters walked up to Dash as she said, "Congratulations on your win, Dash. Looks like we're going to be brother and sisters." Dash nodded as Kelly stated, "Don't get too excited, runt. We Andersons don't tolerate failure, so if you even screw up once, you're getting dropped off back here!" Victoria nodded as she silently said, "Never lose….be the best." Dash blinked as Victoria and Kelly walked back to the limo, leaving Cerina and Dash alone as Cerina said, "Sorry about those two. They are always like that. I've always wanted a brother, and now I have an older one." Dash smiled as Valarie walked up behind them and said, "The paperwork is done. Get in the car, you two. We're going home."

With that being said, Dash finally was free from the orphanage. However, he realized that his future wasn't going to be as kind as he imagined. Every day, Valarie burned into his mind how dueling was not a means for fun, but a means to an end for power and money. Four years had passed and then…

Dash looked at himself in the mirror as he sported his brand new Duel Academy uniform, his mother Valarie tying up his hair as she said, "Your first step on taking over the world of Dueling is to enter Duel Academy. There, you shall show the entire world your Dueling skills and prove that the Andersons are the best of the best." Dash sighed as he looked towards the floor and said, "I don't care about being the best. I just want to have fun. How many times must I say that?" Valarie sighed as she said, "Dueling is not fun. It is only necessary to make money and show off your power." Dash rolled his eyes as he said, "Cerina doesn't think that way. She believes I should have fun with the thing I do best." Valarie frowned as she said, "Cerina may be a lawyer, but she knows that the important thing is to win and be better than the rest. I expect the same from you." Valarie finally finished with Dash's hair as she said, "Your flight leaves in an hour. I suggest getting yourself ready." As Valarie left Dash alone, he stared at himself in the mirror as he untied his hair so it would fall naturally behind his back, his left eye being completely covered by the blue strands of hair he had. He growled as he punched the mirror, shattering it immediately. He closed his eyes as he thought of the four years of training Valarie put him through, both mind and body. He unbuckled his blazer and reached for his locket as he opened it to see a photo of his mom and dad staring back at him along with a photo of him and Cerina, the only member of the Anderson family who treated him as family smiling back at him. He smiled softly as he said, "Wish me luck, Mom and Dad. Cerina, I'll make sure to message you each day to let you know I am doing ok." He then thought of the Duel Academy entrance exams to the duel between the two twins and Mokuba Kaiba. 'Onyx Sairenji and Crystal Noroi…those two definitely rub me the wrong way….', he thought silently to himself.

As time passed, Dash finally arrived to the airport and boarded his flight to Academy Island. As the time passed, his mind wandered as the plane finally landed at the Amaria Branch…

Dash was one of the first to step off the plane onto the island. He immediately removed the PDA he received back on the plane and thought to himself, 'According to this, I am in room 605. May as well go ahead and get settled in.' As Dash walked towards the Obelisk campus, he passed by the War of Paradoxes monument to see the Aelitatrix Bearer saluting amongst the other members of the Celestial Guard. Dash smirked as he bowed slightly and said, "Thank you for all your hard work, Celestial Guard." He finally continued along his way as he passed by a tree, hearing a loud rip as the right sleeve of his blazer got caught by a branch. "Aw, really? ….Oh well, can't be helped.", Dash stated as he ripped the remainder of the sleeve off as he walked up to the doors of the Obelisk Blue dorm and sighed softly, only to stop before he entered inside. 'Wait! I need to do something right quick!', he thought as he immediately returned to the tree from earlier. He immediately placed the bag that he was carrying on the ground as he removed his deck from his deck box and placed it in the small steel box he kept from his years in the orphanage. He immediately began to dig near the tree with his hands, making a decent sized hole as he placed the deck into the hole. 'Sorry, Mom and Dad. I don't think I deserve to use the deck we made together after what Mother did to me. I always believed that Dueling was meant to be fun, but now….she made it seem like Dueling for fun isn't worth the trouble. Maybe someday, I'll come back for it.', Dash thought, placing a hand on the box as he heard a slight roar, immediately realizing that it was the roar of Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon. 'Stay safe, partner.'

With that, Dash buried his deck once again and time sped up to the present day, Dash completing his story of how he came to be here at Duel Academy…

"And that's my tale.", Dash said, still dancing with me in his arms. I was amazed on how much Dash had to deal with to get to this point. "Wow, I cannot believe that all of that happened to you. I also cannot believe that you are a Blue-Eyes user. Why haven't you used that deck against Onyx and me?", I stated, keeping true to my disguise. Dash shook his head as he said, "I don't deserve to use it. Dueling is just a means to an end. It is the way to show my power and my drive to be the best and overtake the world of Duel Monsters and prove that the Andersons are the best of the best." I shook my head as I said, "You used to believe that Dueling was meant to be fun. I believe that that side of you is still there, buried deep within." Dash sighed as the music immediately stopped, the dance finally coming to an end. He bowed slightly as he said, "Thanks for the dance, Crystal. It was…..fun." I nodded as he leaned in close to me and kissed my cheek, my face burning red out of embarrassment. "W-What was that for?", I asked. The next thing I saw surprised me to my very core: Dash was smiling for the very first time since I had met him. "For actually coming with me to the dance. Also, for being a great listener to my story. For that, I can only say thank you.", Dash stated as he bowed again and said, "With that, I shall take my leave. Also, give a message to your brother: I expect another duel soon, this time I will defeat both you and him." My eyes widened when he said that as he left me behind, leaving me completely speechless and my masculinity feeling entirely shattered. The crowd of students began leaving by the droves, leaving me behind with Crystal and the others.

Crystal sighed as she removed her wig, straightening her hair back out as she said, "Well, I certainly had fun tonight!" She looked at me as she said, "Onyx, what's wrong? Your face is beet red!" I immediately removed the wig I was wearing and said, "Say another word, and I will make you regret it, sis. My masculinity is long gone because of this!" Crystal raised an eyebrow when I said that, her attention returning to the blush on my face as she said, "Onyx, what did Dash do to you?" I shook my head furiously as I said, "Never mind! Just get me back home!" Robin walked up to me and said, "Onyx, that was really cute how you let Dash kiss you on the cheek. I can't believe you pulled off your disguise that well." Everyone went silent as their eyes landed on me, my face turning even redder when Robin said that. I immediately walked over to Crystal and said, "Well guys, I will see you all in class tomorrow. None of you will ever speak of this night ever again, or I will make your school terms here a LIVING HELL." Crystal's eyes widened as I said that, immediately shouting my name in shock, only to get completely ignored as I dragged her out of the Arena, leaving everyone behind.

With that, the night finally came to an end. As I hoped, everyone immediately tried to put the night into the back of their minds so they would never speak of it again. As for me, I couldn't sleep as my mind kept being assaulted by the memory of Dash kissing my cheek….

I gasped loudly as I sat up in my bed, furiously rubbing the cheek Dash kissed me as I thought, 'Oh man, why didn't I move or something?! I'm in a relationship with my sister! This is so wrong!' I sighed softly as I looked over to my sister sleeping and immediately imagined her in a lewd situation, grinning as my blanket was immediately tented by the elephant in my boxers. 'Well, with this, I'll definitely be capable of keeping my mind off of him for the remainder of the night.', I thought as I finally laid back down, letting my mind wander into the world of perverted dreams.

With that, I finally lost myself to sleep, not having a single care in the world. However, tomorrow was another day and another adventure would be awaiting me and my friends. Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the island….

The wind whipped slightly as a boat slowly made its way to the pier. A shadowy figure stood at the bow of the boat as they looked to the island and said, "There it is, the Amaria Duel Academy! I can't believe that I finally made it here! All of that hard work finally paid off, so it's time to show this school what we can do, right partner?" The being smiled as the moon glowed down on them, giving the obvious figure of a girl, a loud roar being heard as a Red-Eyes Black Dragon materialized behind her.

Who is this mysterious figure who calls Red-Eyes Black Dragon as her partner? More questions for the next adventure….
