It was a day he would never forget, it had started out with them going to their old home in the sewers to get some things, when suddenly the whole ground around them moved violently, and made the ceiling fall down and crush their dad to death along with April and Casey, while the brothers got separated. Raph had gotten some small cuts and a few bruises, but otherwise was alright, and now he had to focus on finding his brothers, if they were still alive, which he hoped they still were.\n\nLooking around he could see, that the only choice he had was to go back, and see if he could get top side and get home, until his brothers would find him, but he ended up walking the tunnels for almost three years, because every time he tried to go up, he would find the tunnel had collapsed or the manhole was blocked on the other side, but he didn't give up, he had to find his brothers.\n\nThen one day at the edge of the city, he found a manhole that was free, being careful he opened the manhole cover, and was shocked by what he saw, everything was in ruins, all the buildings were flat like someone had stomped on them, and he didn't see or hear any humans, therefor he crawled onto the street carefully, just in case there were any humans left.\n\nRaph had walked through the city to their home in central park, but it was empty and there was no trace of his brothers had ever made it back that day. He broke down crying on his hands and knees, but he ended up sitting with his shell against a wall, and crying his eyes out. Raph stayed at their home for two months, just to make sure if they would come or not, but they never did, therefor he packed a bag, and started to walk to Casey's farm, if it were still there. Since the roads were destroyed, he couldn't drive, therefor he had to walked the whole way, and on the way, he never met anybody alive, except for some wild animals.\n\nAfter he had made it to the farm, he saw that it too was in ruins, and just like before there were no signs of his brothers anywhere, Raph made sure to check everywhere first, before he would break down and cry, but he found nobody there. The next morning Raph decided to work on cleaning up the mess, he reused everything he could, and build himself a new house, new barn and a wall all around the property, the wall were made with stones, that were found on the property, he had also made himself an underground bunker home, just in case he would need it.\n\n******************\n\nEight years after he had made his new home, Raph had everything he needed to survive on his own in this new world. But one night he couldn't sleep, because he kept thinking about how to get children of his own, so he wouldn't be alone anymore. Therefor the next day after lunch, he went into his lab and started to try, and find a way to have children, he did a lot of testing and research with his own blood and DNA. He would check up on the egg every day, and he would write everything down in a book, just in case he met Donnie again, or if the baby wanted to know how it was made, when the baby had gotten old enough to understand it.\n\n67 days after the egg was made, Raph checked up on it as always, and he found a crack in it, he got a little worried if the baby was alright, but then the egg started to shake a little, seeing this made him smile sweetly at the egg, the crack became bigger and spread more and more, until almost the whole egg was cracked, and then the little one gave one big push on the eggshell, which made the whole egg fall apart, and the little one was out of the egg, with a big sweet smile, Raph gently took the little one up and held it up to his face, and with gentle eyes looked the little one in its eyes. The little one sniffed him and made a little que sound at him, Raph put his beak to the little one, and made a light chur sound.\n\nWhile giving the little one its first physical, he noted its eyes were golden like his, but the skin tone was darker than his, and it was a boy, ``hmm...what to name you?...hmm, how about Yami? Its Japanese and means darkness'' Raph said gently to his new son, ``Yami'' Raph said with a smile while looking at him, Yami made a little que in responds.\n\nRaph made sure to spend time bonding with his son, before he would add another child to his little family. The second child he got was also a boy, who had his skin color, but had green eyes, this time he decided on an Italian name, therefor he named him Roman. Raph made sure that his boys were never alone, except for when it came to sleeping, but he was letting them do some things on their own, Raph made sure to give them space to grow their own personality, while keeping an eye on them. Raph even took them with him to the farming fields, and when they became old enough to walk and talk, Raph would let them help with some of the farming. They were happy to help their dad with things, because they were curious about things, but the older they got the more they showed an interest in practicing bushido, which made Raph happy and it turned out that he liked to teach his sons bushido.\n\nOne day when Yami was almost nine, a strange vehicle came to the farm, it looked like a mix of a military tank and an off roader, but when the vehicle stopped and his brothers came out, they saw Raph standing there at the corner of the house looking at them with surprised, ``hey Raph'' Leo called smiling at him, ``Raphie'' Mikey almost sang, ``Raph?'' Donnie said surprised, and they saw that he didn't move and then they saw a little tot, he was hiding behind Raph's legs, the look of surprise was on all three of his brothers, and Raph knew that they could read his body, and they could tell that he was nervous about the situation, ``what's wrong, Raph?'' Leo asked confused, ``dad, I found it!'' Roman called from behind Leo, they heard the small eep from Raph, ``Roman!'' Raph called firmly and they saw Roman run to him without a word, and hide behind Raph just like the other one did.\n\nLetting the news sink in, Raph just stood there waiting for an answer from them, ``tots?'' Mikey said, ``how?'' Donnie said, ``how old are they?'' Leo asked calmly, ``Yami is almost nine and Roman just turned seven, and I made them in my lab, you can read all about it in my books, I wrote everything down in them'' Raph told them, but did not move towards them, ``Raph, you do know that you can trust us, right?'' Leo said calmly, ``twenty years is a long time, Leo. Well then where do we go from here?'' Leo said a little sad, ``I can let you prove to me, that I can trust you, if you want to?'' He walked into the kitchen with them, and sat his sons down on the floor, then he knelt down to them and calmly asked ``can I have your baskets now?'' his sons gave him their baskets, and he took them with a smile and calmly said ``thank you'' then he got up and went over to the sink, and started washing the dirt off the vegetables, while he was doing that, Donnie came into the kitchen and calmly sat down next to Leo and Mikey at the dining table.\n\nWatching Raph making lunch, they noticed that the tots stayed close to Raph, and looked nervously at them, ``we really are the first people they have ever met, huh'' Donnie said calmly with a smile, ``not exactly, they have met some humans, but they were not...um...normal anymore, that and they didn't look normal either'' Raph calmly explained while cooking, ``what did you do with those humans?'' Leo asked in his leader voice, ``when we met them, they were attacking us instantly, therefor I killed them in order to keep my sons safe'' Raph told them calmly, ``hmm, I see'' Leo answered thoughtful, ``that makes sense'' Mikey said calmly, ``yeah, besides we killed every human, that we met too, also in self-defense'' Donnie answered calmly.\n\n``Where have you guys been for the past twenty years?'' Raph asked curiously while setting the table, ``we went home, but you weren't there. We waited for you for three months, then we went here to look for you, but again nothing, therefor we started to travel around the world, and we noticed that we never found anybody normal or alive. Then about four years ago, we saw some satellite photos of this place for the first time, and saw it was being used, but we waited for the next time the satellite would pass by, which was four years later, to see if the place would change, but it didn't and that is why we decided to come here'' Donnie explained calmly, ``hmm I see.
