We wanted to make our toads the opposite of Penny (our frog character who is tall and lean), by making Smooch and Pucker short with thick/powerful legs. You'll find after this story, that Smooch and Pucker will be spending more time with Tek than perhaps the rest of our characters. Behind him, his pupil followed along, singing to herself as her clawed feet clacked joyfully against the stone. “It sure was nice of you to come out here to find Penny’s relatives.” Gimmick said. Tek didn’t answer. The next rock in the path was particularly far away and he’d need to focus to make the jump.\n\n“Pay attention Gimmick,” Tek said, “Remember the swamps can be dangerous when it’s raining, if you fall in the mud you’ll sink. I don’t want to have to pull you out and clean you off.” Behind him he could hear the kobold humming to herself. It was hard to hold her attention sometimes. She had such a wandering mind. Something Tek liked about Gimmick, but had frequently gotten them in trouble that he always had to get them out of.\n\n“Alright I think I can make-” Before Tek could finish, Gimmick’s tail whacked him in the back. Desperate to stop his fall, Tek spun around, grabbing Gimmick’s tail.\n“Rude, Tek!” Gimmick said, swatting at his hand, “Don’t grab a giri’s tail.”\n\nLosing his grip, Tek fell backwards. Impacting the ground with a loud SPLAT, Tek tried to get up only to find his body suctioned into the deep mud. His limbs tangled in a variety of weeds, further holding him in place.\n\n“Gimmick!” Tek shouted,\n\nA nervous smile formed on the kobold’s face as she drummed her claws together nervously. “You know, some people pay a lot of money to be covered in mud like that.”\n\n“Pull me out.” Tek said through gritted teeth.\n\n“No problem, Tek.” Gimmick said, turning around. “Just reach up and grab my tail and I’ll pull you free!”\n\n“Are you kidding me!?”\n\n“You’re right, a gentleman would never grab a ladies tail like that. You’re such a good friend.” Gimmick said, cheerfully.\n\nTek could feel his body beginning to sink even deeper into the mud. He couldn’t be sure, but it almost felt as if the weeds he’d become entangled in were tightening around his body as well. “Just get me out of here before a hungry bog leech finds me.”\n\n“Actually, I think I can make the jump from here to the next rock. Maybe I can reach you better from over there.” Gimmick said, crouching down and wiggling her tail as she prepared to make the jump.\n\n‘Gimmick wait!” Tek shouted, but it was too late. Gimmick made the jump, only to land directly on Tek’s torso, pushing him deeper into the mud.\n\n“Oops!” Gimmick quickly jumped off Tek to the rock she’d originally been trying to reach. “Umm… you know what, maybe I’ll just go find help.”\n\n“Gimmick, do not leave me here… Gimmick?!” Tek could hear the sound of the kobold’s claws clacking against the rocks disappearing in the distance. The drizzle of the rain suddenly picked up, turning into a downpour. “I’m going to die out here. After all the crap I’ve been through, THIS is how I’m going to die.”\n\n“You look pretty alive to me.” A voice called out, just beyond Tek’s view.\n\nThe voice didn’t sound familiar to the rat. “Gimmick?” Tek asked.\n\n“What’s a Gimmick?” Another voice called out in the same thick accent that was common amongst those living in The Bog Lands.\n\nTwo toads poked their heads into view. They stared at Tek curiously. “Who is he?” one of the toads asked.\n\n“What is he?” The other responded, a piece of wheat poking out between a gap in her teeth.\n\n“I’m Tek.”\n\n“What’s a Tek?” The toads asked.\n\n“My name is Tek, I’m a rat. Can you please pull me out of here?” Tek asked. The toads exchanged a look before giving Tek a look he was beginning to become all too familiar with.\n\nImmediately, the two toads began running their fingers between his fur. “He’s soooo soft! We could sleep on him!”\n\n“He’s warm too!” The other toad responded, “I like him!”\n\n“Cut that out! Who do you think you are?!” Tek shouted, attempting with no luck to squirm away from them.\n\n“Smooch.” The green toad said.\n\nThe toad with the wheat in her mouth followed with, “And Pucker.”\n\n“Wanna know how we got our names?” Smooch asked. Both toads licked their lips before puckering up. To Tek’s surprise their lips were much bigger puckered than they appeared to be.\n\n“W-wait!” Tek shouted, but the toads ignored him, planting two big wet kisses directly on his mouth. A shiver shot through Tek’s body, as the taste of swamp and toad saliva covered every last tastebud in his mouth.\n\n“It’s fun kissing mammals.” Smooch said, licking her lips as if to savor the taste of the kiss.\n\n“Let’s keep him!” Pucker suggested.\n\n“Let’s pull me loose and leave me alone!” Tek protested.\n\n“Mmmmm. No!” The toads said in unison.\n\nTek didn’t know how much longer he’d last before he’d sink completely under the mud. He’d yet to hear any sign of Gimmick returning. Low on options he swallowed nervously, knowing what he’d have to do to convince the toads to pull him free.\n\n“I’ll make a deal with you two,” Tek started, the toads raised an eyebrow, listening intently to what Tek what about to offer them, “If you pull me free I’ll… I’ll bring you to The Skunk Kingdoms. They have a spa there and everything. I’ll make sure you’re pampered and the whole trip will be paid for. I’m quite good friends with the princesses so-”\n\n“No.” The toads said.\n\n“Then what do you want?” Tek shouted.\n\n“A boyfriend.” The toads grinned widely.\n\nTek’s ears dropped back in the mud. He couldn’t imagine receiving another kiss from either toad, let alone go on an actual date with them. He was royalty. The pupil of a powerful guardian, and the most powerful rune tapper in generations. To go on a date with two toads from The Bog Lands… “Fine,” Tek said, swallowing his pride, “I’ll go on one date with-”\n\n“No.” Pucker said, crossing her arms.\n\nTek let out a long groan that turned into a shout of frustration halfway through, “What do you want from me?!”\n\n“You’re sinking fast.” Smooch said.\n\n“Which means you are in no position to refuse what we want.” Pucker added.\n\n“First of all. How do we know when we free you, you won’t just run off? We need to know you’re good for your word.” Smooch said.\n\n“I’m a prince, if I pledge myself to an oath, I’ll have to keep it.” Tek said. He recalled all the hours of shopping he had to spend with Lita the last time he’d sworn an oath. Just the thought of it made his feet hurt.\n\n“Hmmm.” The toads pondered the offer.\n\n“We’ll let you out if….” Pucker started.\n\n“We’ll let you out if you make an oath to do whatever we say!” Smooch shouted excitedly.\n\n“Fine, for how long?” Tek asked.\n\nPucker began jumping in place with glee as Smooch licked her lips, leaving long trails of slimy saliva across them. They exchanged a look before turning back to Tek and responding. “Forever!”\n\nTek fell speechless. They couldn’t be serious. “N-no way!”\n\n“Then I guess we’ll just have to leave you here.” Smooch said.\n\n“Judging by the rain, you’ll be completely submerged within a few minutes. Sorry mister rat. It was nice meeting you.” Pucker added. Then the two toads turned and walked out of view.\n\nTime passed and Tek had sunken several inches deeper. He listened for the saving sound of Gimmick’s claws clacking against the stone, a sign that he may be saved, but the sound never came. He took in a deep breath, knowing what he’d have to do to save himself. Tek, prince of The Burrow, pupil to a guardian, student of Acria, the most powerful rune tapper of the age, would pledge his service to a couple of smelly bog toads…\n\nForever.\n\n“Are you still there?” Tek asked, as if he didn’t already know the answer.\n\n“We might be.” Pucker called out from just out of view.\n\n“Depends who’s asking. Is it a stubborn rat stuck in the mud, or our loyal boytoy, who has pledged himself to do whatever we say.” Smooch said, before both toads added, “Forever!”\n\n“I…” Tek started, his heart sinking as he paused one last time to listen for Gimmick’s return, but he was alone with the two toads. There was only one way out. “I, Tek the Rune Tapper, pledge myself to serve-”\n\n“And do whatever we say!” Pucker said.\n\n“No matter how smelly or perverted!” Smooch added.\n\nTek gulped, but continued, “And do whatever Smooch and Pucker say…. No matter how smelly or perverted…. Forever. And should I break my oath, then may the gods judge me accordingly…. Now pull me free!”\n\n“Not yet.” Smooch said.\n\n“First we have to see if you’re good for your word.” Pucker added.\n\nSmooch and Pucker stepped back into view. For the first time Tek could see both of the toads clearly and in their entirety. They gave him an eager look as they stuck their rears out towards him and began to pull down their pants.\n\n“W-what are you doing?” Tek asked, as he watched in horror.\n\n“It’s like we said,” Smooch started.\n\n“We have to make sure you’re good for your word.” Pucker added.\n\nThe toads let their shorts drop to their ankles. Tek wasn’t surprised to find that neither of them had been wearing underwear.\n\n“We expect you to make out with these.” Smooch said, slapping her own ass cheek with her long tongue. Her butt jiggled from the impact.\n\n“Passionately.” Pucker added.\n\nTek gulped, but as the toads lowered their plump butts onto his face, he made no attempt to struggle. Bound by an oath he was honor-bound to uphold, this would be the first act of what would become an eternity of servitude.\n\nAs the toads pressed their butts together on either side of Tek’s muzzle, he became overwhelmed by the smell of swamp ass. Smooch and Pucker made sure to take turns sitting on Tek’s face, his mouth filling with a combination of sweat and swamp water that the toads ordered him to drink down. When they asked him to lap every drop of rain off their rears, he did so. When they asked him to run his tongue up and down between their ass cheeks, he did so. Bound by oath, when they asked Tek to bury his snout deep into their asses and inhale their musk, he did so.\n\nThe first few minutes of what would become an eternity of servitude felt as if it had taken hours. Worse yet, no more than a minute after the toads pulled Tek free, did the rain finally stop. “Could this day get any worse?” Tek grumbled to himself.\n\n“Maybe. “Then what do you want?” Tek shouted.

“A boyfriend.” The toads grinned widely.

Tek’s ears dropped back in the mud. He couldn’t imagine receiving another kiss from either toad, let alone go on an actual date with them. He was royalty. The pupil of a powerful guardian, and the most powerful rune tapper in generations. To go on a date with two toads from The Bog Lands… “Fine,” Tek said, swallowing his pride, “I’ll go on one date with-”

“No.” Pucker said, crossing her arms.

Tek let out a long groan that turned into a shout of frustration halfway through, “What do you want from me?!”

“You’re sinking fast.” Smooch said.

“Which means you are in no position to refuse what we want.” Pucker added.

“First of all. How do we know when we free you, you won’t just run off? We need to know you’re good for your word.” Smooch said.

“I’m a prince, if I pledge myself to an oath, I’ll have to keep it.” Tek said. He recalled all the hours of shopping he had to spend with Lita the last time he’d sworn an oath. Just the thought of it made his feet hurt.

“Hmmm.” The toads pondered the offer.

“We’ll let you out if….” Pucker started.

“We’ll let you out if you make an oath to do whatever we say!” Smooch shouted excitedly.

“Fine, for how long?” Tek asked.

Pucker began jumping in place with glee as Smooch licked her lips, leaving long trails of slimy saliva across them. They exchanged a look before turning back to Tek and responding. “Forever!”

Tek fell speechless. They couldn’t be serious. “N-no way!”

“Then I guess we’ll just have to leave you here.” Smooch said.

“Judging by the rain, you’ll be completely submerged within a few minutes. Sorry mister rat. It was nice meeting you.” Pucker added. Then the two toads turned and walked out of view.

Time passed and Tek had sunken several inches deeper. He listened for the saving sound of Gimmick’s claws clacking against the stone, a sign that he may be saved, but the sound never came. He took in a deep breath, knowing what he’d have to do to save himself. Tek, prince of The Burrow, pupil to a guardian, student of Acria, the most powerful rune tapper of the age, would pledge his service to a couple of smelly bog toads…

Forever.

“Are you still there?” Tek asked, as if he didn’t already know the answer.

“We might be.” Pucker called out from just out of view.

“Depends who’s asking. Is it a stubborn rat stuck in the mud, or our loyal boytoy, who has pledged himself to do whatever we say.” Smooch said, before both toads added, “Forever!”

“I…” Tek started, his heart sinking as he paused one last time to listen for Gimmick’s return, but he was alone with the two toads. There was only one way out. “I, Tek the Rune Tapper, pledge myself to serve-”

“And do whatever we say!” Pucker said.

“No matter how smelly or perverted!” Smooch added.

Tek gulped, but continued, “And do whatever Smooch and Pucker say…. No matter how smelly or perverted…. Forever. And should I break my oath, then may the gods judge me accordingly…. Now pull me free!”

“Not yet.” Smooch said.

“First we have to see if you’re good for your word.” Pucker added.

Smooch and Pucker stepped back into view. For the first time Tek could see both of the toads clearly and in their entirety. They gave him an eager look as they stuck their rears out towards him and began to pull down their pants.

“W-what are you doing?” Tek asked, as he watched in horror.

“It’s like we said,” Smooch started.

“We have to make sure you’re good for your word.” Pucker added.

The toads let their shorts drop to their ankles. Tek wasn’t surprised to find that neither of them had been wearing underwear.

“We expect you to make out with these.” Smooch said, slapping her own ass cheek with her long tongue. Her butt jiggled from the impact.

“Passionately.” Pucker added.

Tek gulped, but as the toads lowered their plump butts onto his face, he made no attempt to struggle. Bound by an oath he was honor-bound to uphold, this would be the first act of what would become an eternity of servitude.

As the toads pressed their butts together on either side of Tek’s muzzle, he became overwhelmed by the smell of swamp ass. Smooch and Pucker made sure to take turns sitting on Tek’s face, his mouth filling with a combination of sweat and swamp water that the toads ordered him to drink down. When they asked him to lap every drop of rain off their rears, he did so. When they asked him to run his tongue up and down between their ass cheeks, he did so. Bound by oath, when they asked Tek to bury his snout deep into their asses and inhale their musk, he did so.

The first few minutes of what would become an eternity of servitude felt as if it had taken hours. Worse yet, no more than a minute after the toads pulled Tek free, did the rain finally stop. “Could this day get any worse?” Tek grumbled to himself.

“Maybe. Now how about we visit that skunk kingdom y’all was going on about.” Smooch asked.

“After all,” Pucker added, “We want to show the world how affectionate our new boyfriend can be~”
